Why Is Montreal Laval a Happy and Sentimental Place For Me?

In life, some people find a connection and a sentimental happy place which is special to them. People automatically feel that sense of belonging to each their own. To me, Montreal and Laval, Quebec is a sentimental and happy place for me. It all began in 2003.

Our Armenian Youth Committee had organized a camping trip in August, 2003, where people from Montreal, Laval Toronto, Mississauga, and other places came to join us for a weekend in Brighton, Ontario, Canada. So I began to meet new people as they started to arrive, first few were from Montreal. Our friendships began instantly its as if we had know each other for a long time. We clicked. There was about 20 people or more who were from there.

I never had friends prior to 2003. I was always bullied and hurt emotionally and mentally by people and it was the worse times ever in my life. When I joined the committee and after leaving the school life behind, life got so much better and made all these friends and was overjoyed with happiness. I couldn’t contain myself. I always thought that I would never have friends until I went to this camping trip. It changed my life forever. I went through so much emotions and I felt so left out, but then everything turned around a whole 360 degrees. It was amazing.

Soon after our camping trip happened, I made a trip to Montreal a couple of months later to visit our newly made friends. I remember they all came to see me at my hotel. we were about 15 to 20 people. So we went out to eat and made great and fond memories. Since then I have driven to Montreal countless amounts of times from Toronto. the drive is so awesome and I always have had great memories in Montreal. Not one bad one.

At one point I had about 30 people visit me at my hotel room just to come and see me. I felt this strong sense of belonging. best feeling ever. We all went out with several cars and they all came for me.

I started to become fans of the NHL team there like the Montreal Canadiens, and started to become obsessed and attached. The restaurants, the areas, streets, and all the amazing times and memories all around the city and suburbs. One of my favourite places is the St Joseph’s Oratory which is in Mont-Royal. I always feel at peace there and I feel refreshed. You can see it in various areas around the city and from Laval too from highways and streets.

I always like to visit the Armenian churches there and see the priests and the others I know who work at the community centres. They love it when I come to visit. I have actually surprised people a few times. Its an awesome feeling when they get excited to see me too.

So many of my friends there said, Talin you know more on how to get around Montreal and Laval than we do. My passion grew that much.

In around 2006 to 2009, I had made Facebook friends from Montreal and Laval areas. So, I began to expand my connections in Montreal even further. I met many new friends and know so many people there now. I remember going to Armenian festivals and other gatherings and parties and there were people who recognized me through social media and they stopped to talk to me and say hello. It felt so amazing.

At one point, I wanted to move to Montreal, but the only barrier was that I don’t really understand French that well. I just know the basics, but It is not far from Toronto, so I can go anytime. I still keep in touch with my friends and we never lost that connection. It has almost been 20 years. Its been amazing.

After COVID19 is over with, we plan on having a big reunion and gathering. I can’t wait for that.

My sentimental views of Montreal even became closer to me. I was there a lot more then I was here in Toronto from 2003-2012. Then for a couple of years I couldn’t go visit as much, but then began again in 2015 for events, weddings and Armenian festivals and up to this day.

A lot of people have asked me why I love Highway 401 East and the Autoroute 20 going toward Montreal, its because its not so much the road, its the connection to my friends there and the city, the restaurants and so much more. Well, now you know.

I will always continue to keep driving down and enjoy the whole process of the connections I made. I am so blessed, thankful, and appreciate them all. They will always be in my life and my heart. I love them very much. I can’t wait to spend more time there as soon as the pandemic goes away.

Welcome to Canada Syrians! Thank you PM Trudeau

Dearest Honourable Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Canadian Government,

I am so proud of you PM and the Canadian Government for taking this positive initiative and beautiful step toward welcoming Syrians and Armenian Syrians to Canada to start a new, safe, happy, comfortable, healthy and great environment. Also for giving them new opportunities, where these people do not have to worry about the unsafe and harmful conditions that they were unfortunately stuck in. You made the impossible, possible and the smiles, the sense of relief on their faces when they landed in Canada, they can finally feel what freedom is, where they can hear peace instead of hearing bombs. You are the prime example of a true, down-to-earth and incredible leader who demonstrates selflessness, who is keeping promises you made during your Prime Minister Campaign, who shines to us and the world and remind us that we can trust and have faith again in Canadian politics and we can depend on you. God bless you PM, Your family, Canada’s Family and our country. I am proud and honoured to be Canadian and I love you Canada!

Welcome to Canada Syrians and Syrian Armenians!
With Love Always,
A Proud and Happy Canadian

Feeling Very Nostalgic Today

Today during the morning hours as I was listening to music from the past on my iTunes playlist which was Adiss Harmandian and International Vatche who are Armenians who sing a variety type of songs, I felt very nostalgic. It also brought back many emotions and happy thoughts as I was remembering highway 401 East and a cottage we used to have in Eastern, Ontario, Canada, a town named Tweed and the countless amounts of times we would drive to Montreal and a couple of times I drove on my own.

Now, you are probably wondering why the music is involved in this, is because they were the artists that we would listen to in the stereo in the car when we would drive down. It never missed. These singers would always be involved and included in our road trips to the Cottage, Montreal and abroad.

The Nostalgia was kicking in even more when I was scouring through the internet for images of the town, the cottage we used to own, highway 401 East, and it went as far as the service centres and things we would see on the way like The Big Apple on the south side of the 401 on exit 497, Percy St. Do not confuse it with The Big Apple in New York City.

I know you are also wondering why I am having nostalgia over a highway. Well, Highway 401 East from Toronto all the way to Quebec has a sentimental place in my life and in my heart and it will always be a special place to remind me of the great drives we have had, and I was crazy at one point in driving in the worst possible snow storm which took over 7 and a half hours to get to Montreal, where on a normal day, would take about 4 and a half hours. In Montreal, I have plenty of friends and I would go and hang out with them every 2-3 weeks. I went about 35 times in one year, and that does not even cover the rest of the years.

So, today all those thoughts and memories came back to my mind and it was a great feeling. It has been about 3 and a half years, I have not been back to Montreal. Just that life got a whole lot busier, a lot of work, and I have traveled quite a lot as well to so many destinations, that I have lost count and now, I am so occupied with my work in Social Media Marketing, and also being a professional in it.

The Nostalgic feeling will never go away, and I will always remember the good times. I am going to make a trip to Montreal and Tweed, Ontario once the winter goes away and spring comes. I definitely need to make a trip there. I just want to drive and I just want to see my beautiful people there and go back to where my Cottage used to be and relax by lake Stoco.

I have written Articles about Tweed, Ontario, the Highway 401 and more… To read, them simply search my blog on the top right side of my blog page above my Facebook Fan Page. Thank you.

Have you had a great nostalgic moment in your life?

Would love to hear from you.

All the best.

Driving on Two-Lane Highways – It Feels Awesome

As you may or may not know, one of the most therapeutic things for me in life is to drive and I like it very much. I especially love to drive on major Highway/Freeway Arteries, big and small, long and short. When I drive, it is very relaxing to me. I remember when I got my G2 drivers licence, I began driving on highways in Ontario, Canada, especially the Highway 401 going back and forth to Montreal from Toronto, and when I used to go up to my cottage in Tweed, Ontario on Highway 37 which is a two-lane highway in some parts. Then after I got my full G licence, it felt awesome taking control and having that experience to drive all on my own from Montreal to Toronto, which is about a 5 hours drive. I loved it. Listening to the radio/cd’s, Myself, my car and the road. It was so peaceful and incredible.

With that being said, I absolutely love driving on two-lane highways as well. I feel like I am driving out in the country, different lifestyle, seeing farmers, pick-up trucks, old cars, overlooking trees, scenery, farmland, agriculture, fruit and veggie farms, animals, a house or 2 within a few km’s away from each other, followed by passing pick up trucks, big trucks/rigs on opposite side of the highway, then seeing solid lines, then broken lines for cars that are able to pass at that moment, say if there is a very slow moving vehicle in front of you, then quickly merging back into your lane, of course when it is safely to do so. I love road-trips like that, and I have to be the driver, but I am not the one who can stay in a car for more than 8-10 hours. That is my maximum limit. Anymore than that, I would rather fly somewhere.

I know sometimes driving in rural country/county township highways take longer to get to places, depends on where you are going, but it feels incredible to see greenery more and to get up close and personal with nature as you drive along.

Do you usually drive in the family or when you are amongst your friends? Or do you like being a passenger a lot more? I am in the mix between both, but I am the one who likes to usually drive. I cannot sit in a backseat of a car. I feel uncomfortable. I have to either drive or sit in the front.

Do you have a driving memory or story?

The 100th Armenian Genocide Commemoration – 2015

The 100th Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide is just 6 and a half Months away. Annually on April 24, we gather together in Canada’s Capital Ottawa in the Province of Ontario and we commemorate the Armenian Genocide. The Turkish Ottoman empire and Government is responsible for murdering and massacre of 1.5 Million Armenian’s in 1915 as well as stealing our precious and beautiful land as well as Mount Ararat which will always be Armenia’s.

The Turkish Government to this very day still denies that they ever did commit a Genocide, which is why we need to spread the word as much as possible. 2015 will be the 100th Commemoration. Where ever you are and will be, however you will commemorate, it is important to come together with other Armenian’s and venture out in the public eye, and in public places to voice ourselves and make this a global recognition. Our efforts need to be taken out of our Armenian communities and churches and solely head to Embassies, Consulates, organize public marches in the metropolitan areas of your city where it is densely populated with visible signs, banners, and our Armenia Flag.

Canada Has recognized the Armenian Genocide and we thank Canada so much as other Countries as well who have recognized. It is only a matter of time until the world comes together to raise awareness and recognition, on not only the Armenian genocide, but all other genocides and terrible acts of humanity throughout the world.
We need to spread the word out to everyone. In Canada, we will be heading to Ottawa, Canada in front of the Canadian Parliament, followed by a march to the Turkish Embassy. April 24, 2015. Usually we begin at 12 noon until everyone arrives in Ottawa from buses from Ontario and Quebec from Cambridge, Toronto, Montreal, Laval, and abroad. For up to date information, bus departure times and other questions, please see your Local Canadian Armenian Community Centre Organization to obtain more information.
Also the information will be posted here as well once we get more news soon. In the meantime it is important to spread awareness as much as possible. Social Media is a huge way to raise awareness. If you have any ideas or suggestions for the 100th Centennial in Ottawa, please contact me. Also if you want to do your own research about the Armenian Genocide and what happened, You can Google, or search on Facebook, Twitter or wherever in social media.

Getting Back to My Roots – The Armenian Community

After a long hiatus, I am heading back into the doors of my local Armenian community centres and churches. Time to return back and do more things and be active in the community. I have been so out of the loop lately. After going through many things of life in the last little while, I decided that it is time and its now. I need a new perspective on life and what matters to me the most. One of them is giving a helping hand and being there for my Armenian community. 2 more hands make a big difference and its something that makes me feel incredible. In the past I have accomplished, achieved and been through a lot with meeting so many people, then being globally well known in the Armenian Community is something so incredibly amazing and awesome. The ultimate was visiting my Motherland Armenia in 1999.

I have done so much for my Armenian community in the past and here are many to list…

– I have been in the committee for Jr. ACYOC
– I have been in the committee for Sr. ACYOC (Armenian Church youth Organization of Canada) for over 11 years.

– Assisted in St Sahag, St Mesrob Armenian Saturday School for 4 years. I have also attended from 1989-1999 which I graduated grade 8…
– Assisted in the Armenian Sunday School for 2 years.

– I have been in Nor Serount (New Youth) New Generation) Newsletter publication for 2 years

– Assisted with Communications/Social Media advertising for Holy Trinity Armenian Church Toronto for 2 and a half years

– Assisted with the Armenian Genocide commemoration in Ottawa for 3 years.

– for Bible Study sending out e-mails and being the communications director working with the priest and committee of Bible Study…

– Organized Armenian Camping trips of which one year I was the head of the team and brought over 70 people from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and other places to a Camping trip in Kingston, Ontario…

– Was part of Sassoun Dance Ensemble for a year.

– Went on a pilgrimage to Montreal in 2007 with the Armenian Church

– Participated in Many ACYOC Armenian Youth Sports weekends from 2003-2011

– Visited a Nursing home with Armenian Bible Study to spend time with the elderly.

– Assisted in Wrapping Presents for children with Armenian Bible Study at Childrens Aid Society

– Went to Vancouver BC for a sports weekend, then went to several meetings in Kingston, Montreal, and Ottawa…

More to come in the future. There is no stopping me now.

Air Transat – An Airline of Excellence – Incredible Airline

Air Transat is an airline, that is based in Canada in Montreal, Quebec. Air Transat is an airline that I love. It is an airline of excellence, great service, the flight attendants and all Air Transat Personnel Ground and Air Crew make it a priority to present excellent care, safety, security and look out for the best interests of its passengers boarding their planes to make passengers flights to their desired destinations a safe and happy one. Air Transat was founded in 1987. Air Transat began its first inaugural flight from Montreal to Acapulco, Mexico in November of 1987, and since then the Airline has grew to over 3.5 Million passengers yearly flying to sunny southern destinations and every other destinations that this beautiful Airline flies to.

Air Transat has another partnered airline named Canjet which they have been together since May of 2009. Transat began to transform their beautiful airplanes with different models, sizes, amount of passengers and crew that are able to be carried on board the planes with boeing, airbus, and other styles. Some of the planes are smaller, some bigger with different configurations inside the plane such as rows that may have a 3-3 configuration, some have 2-4-2 or 3-4-2. Depends on the destination used, Like if they fly to Europe from North America, often times they would use their bigger fleet which carries more fuel to fly to longer destinations more than 5 hours long.

Skytrax has awarded Air Transat with one of the best airlines of the world, which I strongly agree. Many Airlines can learn a thing or two from Air Transat.

Air Transat is an incredible airline which I have had the pleasure of flying on before from Toronto to many destinations to the southern Caribbean destinations. I enjoyed my experience so much with them. The seats are comfortable. I love when the plane takes off, in between and lands. I love that adrenaline on the tarmac and the excitement. I love getting the window seat, and I admire the outside air, clouds, the land underneath, and enjoy the whole plane with looking around, and enjoying the whole inflight service. I will never forget the flight attendants who served me with a beautiful smile, and made sure I was taken care of the minute I checked in at the airport, during the boarding process, on the plane, getting off the plane until I get out from the airport. It is a very strenuous job and a lot of responsibility to take care of passengers, to make sure everybody is safe, to be the eyes of the captain/pilot as he navigates the airplane while the flight attendants put on the safety drill, serve us food, and beverages. I am very impressed with the way Air Transat trains their staff with utmost excellence, professional, courteous attitudes with a smile. I definitely feel at ease when traveling with them. I cannot wait until I travel with Air Transat again.

The 2013 Armenian Toronto ACC Summerfest Was A Great Success

This year from July 12, until the 14th, 2013 The Armenian Community Center of Toronto held a huge party under the tent for the Armenian community and this year was the 17th season. This year like from the year our Summerfest have begun, they have become a great success from bringing many known Armenian and International Performers from Dancers, to Singers, Comedians, Radio Broadcasters and so many more surprises that occur each year. The Armenian Summerfest is held at the Armenian Community Youth Center Parking lot.

This year many Armenian singers from Los Angeles, Lebanon, Cambridge Ontario, Montreal, and other places attended and sang at our Summerfest and they are Ararad Aharonian, Khoren Mouradian, Onnig Dinkjian our folk Traditional Singer, Kevork Artinian, Armenchik, and Andy Madadian with their bands that graced our stage with their incredible and beautiful talent in our Armenian Culture singing a variety of songs from slow to fast and while the crowd was dancing traditional Armenian Dances as well as just dancing with family, friends and enjoying our time with our Armenian community. Some of the performers also did a duet on stage as well which blew the crowd away and people were dancing like no tomorrow. We were then Broadcasted live from our Radio Station present and that is Setrak Garabedian who traveled from Montreal, and his radio station is called TrikTrak With Setrak and he updated and tuned those people who were unable to join at the Summerfest across the world so they too can enjoy with us.

The purpose of the Armenian Summerfest is to bring the Armenian community together, to strengthen our bonds, to make new friends, to reuniting people who have not seen each other in a while, and nowadays people meet each other on Facebook and make friends on the social networking site and people connect in person together for the first time or many times before and it makes Summerfest to be a smaller world when people reunite together. People of All ages were in attendance at the Summerfest which made us into one big happy family of our Community. a few thousand people were in attendance this year.

There were many vendors and traditional cultural Armenian and Middle Eastern Food and Desserts for people to enjoy while at the summerfest, there was also a Kids area where there was deflatable playing centers, Along with Cotton Candy, Ice Cream, and So many things to do for people of all ages.

I am glad that I attended all 3 nights and I got to reunite with my Friend whom I call a sister from Montreal, I got to see my friend from Boston who I had not seen since last year, and I saw all my facebook friends and some I met for the first time. It was so incredible and It was special time. I had such a great time and My face was always smiling and I was just so happy all around.

I would like to personally thank the Organizing committee of the Annual Summerfest and I appreciate all the hard work, commitment, dedication, nights and days that are put to pull of a huge event with renting of the big tent, organizing and planning the performers, the food, the communications, advertising committees and so many more things that go into planning an event. Thanks again and I am excited for the 18th year in 2014. Thanks for a fun weekend. Until next time.

Reuniting With A Very Special Person in My Life

Hello all, I am filled with excitement tonight as in a couple of hours, I will be reuniting with a great, close, special friend whom I call my sister for so many years now is coming to see me and I am so overwhelmed with happiness as she is getting near to my town to see me. It is the greatest feeling ever. I have not seen her since February 26, 2012 when I last visited Montreal and I am just so overly excited to see her again. I miss her so much and this is going to be a great reunion and we have so much catching up to do, and creating more memories. Those times we used to see each other 2-3 weeks at a time and I remember how much we used to see each other back in the day, but again it will feel great to be together instead of always messaging each other on Facebook, and text messages. Time to finally be physically together which is so much more awesome.

I am jumping for joy. When she told me she is coming this past week, I got so happy, emotional, and joyful at the same time and it was a feeling I will never forget. We may not be sisters in blood, but were sisters at heart, mind and soul, and I consider her part of my family. She is one of the most important people in my life and she has a big place in my heart, my world, my life and everything in my being. I have been awake all night and will pick her up in an hour and 40 minutes from now. I am super duper hyped up about this and so much time we have to make up for all the lost ones in from February, 2012, and up until today. Well, I must go, but time to get ready and time to enjoy. I feel like I am going to cry with happiness when I see her, so I gotta prepare myself :).

Dedicated to Primate Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan – A True Leader

I would like to introduce to you someone who is very dear to me in my heart and in my life, I would like to talk about someone who many of us in the world who love and appreciate him and his name is Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan of whom is our Canada Armenian Church Leader.  Please note when I say Srpazan that’s the Armenian word for Bishop.

Now, this past week, something unfair happened that there were elections of having another leader lead our Armenian Church Diocese Head in Canada, and the location of our head church office is in Montreal, Outremont, Quebec. The election was indeed a setup and a lot of people are against what happened, a petition is going around, and many people are quite upset about what happened and how the way things transpired. Most of the people are calling this a misjudgment and not making a great decision for our Armenian church of Canada with good intentions and I myself and others do not believe this election was done in a fair manner and things we done beforehand to alter the numbers. Something suspicious and fishy is going on and we want to get to the bottom of this and we want answers. Anyway,

in 2003 when I met Srpazan Bagrat Galstanyan, I knew right away I would love him and he became someone who I consider family to me. Srpazan has taught me so many things about life and his words, his speeches, the meetings I was in with him in ACYOC (Armenian Church Youth Organization of Canada), Kingston, Mississauga, traveling to Vancouver for our Sports Weekend in 2005, Going to Montreal/Laval sports weekends, Camping trips, and so many more memories. Srpazan Bagrat Galstanyan is someone who is very special and dear to me and the loss of him being our Srpazan and our leader has hit me so hard and it is hurting me beyond anything else. It is far worse than someone hitting me with a bat, but that does not even compare to the pain this is causing me and this has been on my mind since I heard about this on Monday Morning. I cried so hard, I cried so hard inside too, my tears rolled down my cheeks, and I am so angry!

Srpazan was there for me at my toughest moments when I was bullied, picked on because I was different and I went to events where I felt alone and left out, but Srpazan came to my rescue and he spoke to me, made me feel better about myself, and he gave me advice, he opened his heart to me. I will never forget that for the rest of my life. Srpazan was there for me when nobody else really was, I met many friends in Montreal because of Srpazan, and I was introduced to a whole new world and I was so excited to go to Montreal all the time and to see my friends. Srpazan after knew me by my first name, and he remembered what we discussed, he was always asking me how I am and how I am doing since we talked. THAT THERE TO ME SAID IT ALL! I knew I would love and trust him forever and I always will forever. He gave me the energy, he gave me something in my life that will always remain with me forever. He smiled at me always, and always excited to see me, shaking my hand, blessing my head with his hand. It was a great feeling!

I cannot stomach it To see him being treated unfairly, betrayed by his clergyman who he thought were his friends, who he thought were with him and support him and in a disgusting way his clergyman had to vote against him and on what grounds? This is unbelievable! and having these elections. What is this? A political race? Is this some kind of JOB race? I want Srpazan back, I want this whole bogus election to be void.

The true meaning of being Christian, and being a servant of God is to reach out to people in a personal level, to inspire, to help, to guide, to do great work for the community, to dedicate his/herself without asking for material things. I love Srpazan Bagrat so much! He will always be special to me and I Just want him back! Is that so hard to ask? This is betrayal.

Here is the Facebook page. Help and support us by getting him Back to stay with us, and there are pictures, videos, and links about him if you want to know more about our leader who is selfless, kind, spiritual, dedicated, caring, loving, humorous and so many more great qualities about him.

Thanks for reading about our lovely leader. Lets keep him here and lets bring him back to lead Canadian Armenians for a brighter future ahead.

Montreal – It Is Not Goodbye – It’s See You Later – Must Part Ways For Now

There are somethings in life that one must give up to go forward in life and to achieve goals and get onto bigger things in life, and that is giving up my passion for Montreal, that I have written about in blog posts of before. Some of my friends could not believe when they saw that I was putting all that behind me. It is time to move forward and to prioritize my life, work hard to achieve my dreams, to look onto bigger and better things. I realize that Montreal will always be there and that I can go visit whenever I want to, but first thing is first to take charge of my life, get onto important things, get my career and life going. I have done a lot of thinking the last few weeks and I think it is the best decision I am making for myself. Being infatuated and in love with the whole road trip to Montreal and everything there was a distraction for me, and I decided to part ways as of today. I have been meaning to announce this for weeks now, but today I feel like it is the right time to do so. It was the hardest decision I had to make about Montreal not being my happy place anymore and doing things in my life for me from now on.

Getting my life together and doing what I want to do is the most important. My New Happy place is my future, and thinking about me and what I want in life, important things like having a job, meeting a special someone in my life who gives meaning to my life, whom I can call my best friend and someone whom I can share my life with, I want to work harder than I am now at my priorities. It was a hard decision to let go of something I truly love, but sometimes you have to set it free, which I am now. I know it is crazy to love a city this much, but its for the best for now. I will not entirely forget it because of the memories there and everything that has happened there with friends and everything else, but I need to do this for myself. I need to look after me and my future and no one else will look after me and my future but myself, nobody will knock on my door and offer me something great, no one will knock on my door and offer me money or a job. I need to knock on others doors and put my foot in the door if I want to help myself. That is how the world works. You have to go after what you want and how you want it. Reality has hit me hard the last few weeks. I am not getting any younger, I am getting older and responsibilities are piling up on me. Nothing in this life is free.

I believe that sometimes you have to sacrifice to succeed and to get to bigger and better things in life. I have learned that and I will utilize that with the best of my ability.

My friends in Montreal always mean a lot to me and I love them with all my heart. They are always with me in my heart, mind, soul and spirit. They are all lovely people whom I absolutely adore and care about. I am sure they understand that I cannot visit anytime soon because of things I am trying to accomplish in my life and things I am trying to achieve. Thank you for the memories, I will always cherish and love you all, and when it comes time for me to visit you all, we will have a rocking fun time and create new memories again, but for now Talin needs to take care of herself and her career, but she will be back.

July Will Be A Month Full Of Travels

Well, hello July! We meet again. Another month has come by of 2012. I plan to make the most of it. This Month I will be doing a lot traveling by car to Several places, such as Niagara Falls again twice, then I will be heading to Montreal. This year of 2012, has been a travel year for me. I cannot wait to go to California and Las Vegas this year as well. Nothing great like traveling. I am so exciting to be going and seeing my friends In Montreal. They have not seen me in a while and I can’t wait to drive down to see them. They keep saying, Talin when are you coming to your happy place again? When are we going to see each other again? I said end of July for sure. I love road trips, that do not exceed more than 8-10 hours. I have a lot of things to do this month as well. I have so many plans to do new things as well, and enjoy summer as much as I can outdoors while the weather co-operates and is great. There is a possibility I may head to Wasaga Beach in Ontario, Canada someday soon. Maybe during the week.

It is also Canada’s Birthday today, so Happy Canada day! Remember also that today is the soccer match between Italy and Spain. Who do you think is going to win? I am cheering for Italy. VIVA ITALIA! Where will you be watching? I plan to have a nice restful time at home and watch it or at a relatives house. Lets see how this day progresses. Have fun! Have a safe and happy summer!
