Android VS. Apple — The difference. – In My opinion

Do not take offense to it if you are heavily into iPhone, but it is just what I have noticed. I began to dissect the difference between the two. So far Android is the winner.

~~ Android ~~

With Android phones, you can save photos, videos and files right to your computer backing it up easily with just hooking up your USB cable. You do not have to use iCloud or iTunes and always rely on them to always back up your contacts too. you have many more options of looking for apps and androids are more convenient to use and you have more options of buying different types of phones such as the Samsung, LG, HTC, Nexus, Also, to charge the battery you have options of using different types of charging ends on phones and cost less. I prefer android more than Apple in my opinion.

~~ Apple ~~

You must always use Apple products, downloading iTunes, iCloud, to always back up your photos, videos, music and other things. You cannot just directly hook up the USB to your computer and directly put the items in your documents. You are limited with the apps for apple. It is a lot more complicated to maneuver around the app, and they only have one type of charger. The ending of the chargers are a lot more flimsy and have to replace it often. Plus apple products are so much more costly. If you do not have Apple Care, then you are pretty much going to dig into your pocket a lot more. Also with that you have more of a chance to lose your contact information and photos if you make one small wrong move. Sorry, Siri

I am sticking to Android and will always be a loyal user. A lot better and easier to manage without all the sophisticated stuff, without hassle.

Kitchen & Time Saving Tips for The Upcoming Holiday’s

It is that time again and it is quickly approaching where we are just a few weeks away from Christmas and New Year holidays, and a lot of people get so frustrated, and are confused with what to cook, what to do to save time in Kitchen and so much more. The Holidays are about spending time with your loved ones, making memories and cherishing precious and personal moments with them and to spend less time in the kitchen, which is why I have these tips and tricks to help you in that department. Well, without further a do, here they are:

— 1 or 2 weeks before your big dinner night with your loved ones, decide on the menu and what you will cook and serve as snacks, as dinner and dessert. We know how hectic it can be to make several types of dishes, but simplicity is key. Do not overload your table with so many options of foods. Limit the amount.

— a week before the big event, do all your grocery shopping. Do not wait until last-minute as that time is to start preparing the day or 2 before, but if they are foods that will need to be prepared on the day of, make sure you start early in preparations.

— If you have more than 10-20 people or more or less, it is a good idea to buy Christmas Holiday style disposable cutlery and plates to set the table or set them to the side like a buffet table along with of course napkins, disposable cups and glasses for juice, soft drinks, wine, beer, alcoholic beverages, so that no washing dishes are involved. Keep the garbage bags on standby where you can get a reach of it quickly. (The only washing of dishes would be servers, and plates, pans that have the food that is cooked from it.

— Before your loved ones arrive, set all the desserts to the side where it will be quick to bring out.

— Do not spend half your time in the kitchen. Besides your loved ones came to get together and spend time together, to see each others faces. Preparation in advance is so important to do. Do not be afraid to ask for help, and delegate tasks for the whole family to do before others start coming over.

— Of course the house should be clean and tidy, use a rug at the front of the door to put people s shoes and organize them so that shoes will not be everywhere. make room in your closet for people’s coats. So take all the coats out that you and your family who live there and take them and put them in another room. If you have enough space for all jackets in your closet, then its all good.

— Before the meal, when people start knocking on your door and come in, have vegetable trays and chips bowls on the table or whatever snacks you will serve, but not over indulge in the snacks so that you have room for the main dinner. Then after the dinner is done, put out the snacks and dessert table. again limit the desserts as well.

— In the kitchen when you are about to start cooking, take out all cooking equipment out and once you use something and will not need it anymore, simply wash them, dry them and put them away, so that you have less dishes to wash later.

— when your loved ones are over, make sure everything is ready, then all you do is just bring them over to the table which won’t take more than 5 minutes, keep the food warm on the oven, until it is time to serve. After serving your food, and after eating, clear the table and of course throw out the disposable plates, cutlery and cups and glasses, then just give the table a quick wipe. Then quickly convert it to the dessert table where everything is self-serve. Also use disposable dessert plates and cutlery as well.

— Leave the washing of the big dishes until later so that you can enjoy your loved ones to the fullest and if people want to volunteer to help you clean and wash, allow them and it will be fun as well-doing things together. just not all on you.

— make the coffee, espresso and put the water into the coffee maker, in advance. after dinner, just press the button and the coffee will start to brew. Also make those disposable cups. Remember less washing the better it is for you.

— decide on decorations on table, centerpieces and theme. I have read that people dress up in Christmas sweaters, and same colours, sometimes people just come in anything.

This is super important if your loved ones have a little too much to drink, do not allow them to drive a vehicle and make sure they stay over, until they are sober to drive again. Do not drink and drive and enjoy the holidays responsibly. You can save your life, your loved ones lives and others lives who share the road with you. When you know there is alcohol involved and you know that your loved ones will drink, ask to collect everyone’s car keys and place them in a basket and put the basket in another room and keep the door locked and when people leave just bring the basket out and let people grab their keys only if they have not drunk. or if they had one drink or something that still gives them the capability to drive.

— When nature calls, some of your loved ones will want to use the washroom. It is a good idea to have paper towels on standby so that your towels won’t be soaking wet when another person decides to dry their hangs, and a couple of rolls of toilet paper on the side, and extra hand washing soap if need be.

That is all for now, but if there is any particular questions you need to ask, do not hesitate to comment or personally e-mail me. You can find my e-mail on my contact me site which is located on top of the page. Thank you and have a great, safe, happy Christmas and Holiday season!

Caught Someone Pretending To Talk On His Cell Phone Today

What a funny thing I witnessed today. I could not believe it with some people, I just couldn’t stop laughing. Today, I decided to go out to a coffee shop called Tim Horton’s and I ordered an Iced Latte. So I went and sat down. As I am drinking and relaxing for almost 10 minutes, I see this guy 2 tables down from me looking around and about, so 2 minutes later, he pulls out his phone and starts to talk, This ordinary guy, and so another 5 minutes goes by and he is still yapping on his phone about pointless stuff that makes him look ridiculous, then to his surprise, the phone rings twice while he is talking on his cell phone. The first person he saw was me and I looked at him and I shook my head and started to giggle. He felt so embarrassed and I can sort of tell, that he was pretending to talk on the phone. He just picked his Iced Cappuccino up and he left like no tomorrow humiliated .

Dude, if your going to pretend to talk with your cell phone, at least put it on silent. He had a blackberry same as Me and he is trying to show it off. I can’t believe it. So many people have phones these days and its not a rare occurrence.  He has to show off and try to look cool. I was sort of eavesdropping on his conversation because he was so close to me and I was alone having my Iced Latte, so he was going on about how his date was last night, how he had a blast, how he said Yeah I am going on a date with her again tonight, then a little bit of a pause to try and pretend that he is talking to someone else on the other side, and then he went on to talk again. I just laughed so hard. We didn’t say a word to each other after I caught him with his phone ringing loud by his ear.

Now, sometimes I wonder if people are actually talking on their cell phones in a public place, and I actually wonder if there is someone on the other line actually having conversations with these people. It’s happened again when I was flying to Vancouver, BC at the airport while waiting for my flight at the gates. This other guy was pretending to talk on his cell phone and it rang. This was at almost 8am in the morning just about to board my flight. It was so funny. I mean what do people gain by doing this stuff? It is beyond me. Maybe for self-satisfaction or something. I don’t know, but it is ridiculous and looks ridiculous.

Well, I am sure that guy today learned his lesson to never pretend to talk on a phone again. I sort of felt sorry for the guy, but it was a big time Epic Fail lol.

There Is Always A Light At The End Of The Tunnel – Quit Being Miserable

I have been thinking a lot about things I believe in and there are only a few certain things I do, and one of them is that when there are negative, and terrible things that happen in ones life, I always believe, that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. The only way to rid of being miserable, It is time to pick yourself up, and dust yourself off with any of these miserable things you think about and selling yourself short and doing things that can be debilitating to your health. I know that you can get through anything. You can be happy again, you can be someone who is full of life, you just have to get past those feelings. I know it may take a while to pick yourself up again due to some situations you went through, but never say never that happiness and being active again will never happen again. It will happen.

I see miserable people all the time when I do grocery shopping, when I am out running errands, when I am driving or when I go away on vacation. although I don’t know what is happening in their lives and what they are thinking about, and I know in life there are stresses with trying to make a living, trying to get out there in the world, and among other things that can be happening in a family, or relationships. Anything can be happening and I understand that completely. I know and have been through it all.

Always, know that your not alone and smile always and be yourself. I don’t know how some people choose to be miserable day in and day out. Although you might be hurting and things can happen, but it is our choice to move on with our lives and get over it, or we can choose to keep dwelling on the past and never moving forward in life. It is totally up to you on how you want to portray yourself, but always believe that you will get over problems and there will always be the light at the end of the tunnel. All you got to do is try and do your best to get past through them.

You can do it. So quit being miserable and smile will you? 🙂

Whenever I Hit Rock Bottom, I know There is A Way Up.

Have you ever felt that when you hit rock bottom and your world world comes crashing down because of what someone said to you, or what has happened in your life? I always believe in getting back up and dusting myself off when things don’t go very pleasant and do not go well. In Life we will always encounter the times of the bad and the times of the good. There is always that balance, but it all depends on the way you look at life. If your always dwelling and looking for negativity all the time, it is not a good trait to develop. Bad things happened unfortunately and we lose people we love, and my condolences to the families and loved ones. They are with you all the time in your heart, mind, and soul. You just got to look deeper, that is all. I have had numerous amounts of bad things happening to me, and I have lived past through each one of them. I have finally put the bullying of people behind me, I have finally snapped out of that phase where I don’t have to feel terrible about myself. I realize how life is so short for me to keep on doing that to myself and upsetting myself and thinking about how the past has hurt me, and it did hurt me terribly much more emotionally and mentally, than anything else.

I realize I am not alone and I believe that I have people in this world just like me and whom I can relate to. We can all help each other in some way and get that message across. I will always remember that when I hit rock bottom, there is always a way up and get myself going again with positive and happy energy, that I need in my life. I will not let things bother me and I will not let others dictate my life and what I stand for. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I believe in a diverse world where we all come together as one body of our human world. I want to thank everyone for everything. I am so touched deeply and so grateful for having come this far, and will continue to keep my head up high and I will not let things get to me anymore. Hitting rock bottom is something I want to prevent from happening, but in life it will happen beyond our control, but I am up for the challenge to conquer it and beat it. I will not be someones puppet and I will not let others walk all over me. I can’t let that happen, and I am acting accordingly to different situations of life. I am up for the challenge. Lets do this everyone. Lets get up there and keep the rocks down where they belong. The only way up is to be confident and happy always with a dash of positivity and kick up your life with a notch of optimism.

All the best and love you all.
