Is 2015 Really Almost Over? Can’t Believe it.

Yesterday, when I woke up, It was a brand new month in 2015. I can’t believe October is here already. To me, when October comes it means that the year is almost over. 3 Months to go until 2016. Where did this year go? It was an absolute busy year for me and so much more until December 31st. I already see Christmas merchandise in the stores, Halloween, Thanksgiving things. The only thing about these months until April is that it is the Fall, its cold, freezing and Winter that I absolutely despise.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas?

I am excited to go on my 13th trip to Cuba soon. I absolutely love Cuba a lot. I go all over the place. I don’t just go to one destination.

Was 2015 good to you? Mine was, and I ended up doing quite a bit of traveling to Los Angeles, California, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, and among many other places, but there were some unfortunate things that did happen in my year, but everything turned out well in the end. Well, lets see what the next 3 months of 2015 has in store for me.

Those Buffalo, Western, New York Commercials Entertain Me

For so many months now, I have been watching a few shows on TV, and then the Commercials come on and I see all these commercials from Buffalo, Western New York and Niagara Falls areas of USA and Canada. They entertain me so much and I sometimes start to laugh. I have seen those places they advertise when I go to Buffalo and Niagara Falls USA Side and I start laughing even more. I don’t know what is it with those commercials, but they are funny as heck. LOL. Whenever I head to Niagara Falls, all these commercials are stuck in my head and then I act on them and they I say it to my parents, and friends and they start laughing. I once did these commercials when I was on the USA Side when I went to Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls, New York, and people heard me and started to laugh. Especially the workers and the people who live there. I remember going into Walgreens and I did those commercials, it was funny and people started to laugh.

I know some of the commercials aren’t funny about the Lawyers and everything. I know these are ordinary people trying to make a living, and I am not trying to mock them or anything, but the commercials just plain entertain me and I love them. So kudos to them.

There are those Basil, Fuccillo, Gambino, Lockport commercials, followed by Sam Maislin, Robert Berkun, Cellino & Barnes, Kenneth Hiller, Brown Chiari, Then followed by Seneca Casino, Airport Plaza Jewelers, the Kiosk, Walden Galleria, The Valu home centers guy with his commercials, walgreens, rite aid, Tonawanda, Cheektowaga, Amherst, Buffalo, and all those surrounding areas, West Herr New York, Marineland Commercial, Great Wolf Lodge, Fallsview Casino Niagara Hotel commercials. I love watching those commercials so much, that I re-enact all the commercials and start singing them and I have even memorized all the phone numbers and everything. I Finally Went On Maid Of The Mist In Niagara Falls, Ontario – July, 14, 2012

On July 14, 2012, I embarked on my 4th trip to Niagara falls within 3 months and it was an experience I will never forget. This time went with great friends whom I have known for years from my Armenian Community center. I never would have expected that I would go on Maid Of The Mist. I have always come to Niagara, but I have never went on it. So this time I put my foot down and did it. I am so glad I did. People often take photos and look at the falls from above, but once you go on that boat with your blue poncho, and start heading toward the American and Horseshoe falls, you automatically feel the sense of amazement and it is so beautiful.  More beautiful than looking at it from above. I saw a rainbow on the American falls, and once we were getting toward the big one, the mist started to come onto all of us, and it was refreshing and at the same time the view, and the experience was unlike any other. I will never forget this experience for the rest of my life. I want to go on this again next time I go. It was an experience of a lifetime.

If you have not tried Maid of The Mist yet and if you have not yet visited Niagara Falls, you must do it. Everything is great in Niagara, but this one takes the cake out of everything else. God has created a beautiful earth and with amazing landmarks and everything else. God bless Niagara Falls… I was thinking to myself how Wallenda did it, with all that mist hitting up top and I was thinking to myself how the rope was put on and how everything took place. Wow, and the energy, the power of the water when it falls and all the white water going around like crazy, it was amazing. TOTALLY AMAZING. Do it!

 

 

What A Lovely Time in Niagara Falls This Week

What a fabulous week it was traveling to Niagara Falls. It was my 4th time traveling there within the last 3 months. It is only an hour and a few minutes away from Toronto, driving. They made this incredible house that is upside down. It is awesome. Niagara Falls is such a beautiful place. I know the whole place by heart now. I can’t wait to go back in 2 weeks with friends. Then I am heading to Montreal the weekend after. Gotta enjoy summertime as much as possible because summer is not a long season and it goes by way too fast than the other seasons, I find. The weather was scorching hot in Niagara Falls. Thank goodness for an Air conditioned car and hotel room. 🙂 Anyway, I am sort of exhausted, so I will leave it at this today. Thanks for tuning in.

July Will Be A Month Full Of Travels

Well, hello July! We meet again. Another month has come by of 2012. I plan to make the most of it. This Month I will be doing a lot traveling by car to Several places, such as Niagara Falls again twice, then I will be heading to Montreal. This year of 2012, has been a travel year for me. I cannot wait to go to California and Las Vegas this year as well. Nothing great like traveling. I am so exciting to be going and seeing my friends In Montreal. They have not seen me in a while and I can’t wait to drive down to see them. They keep saying, Talin when are you coming to your happy place again? When are we going to see each other again? I said end of July for sure. I love road trips, that do not exceed more than 8-10 hours. I have a lot of things to do this month as well. I have so many plans to do new things as well, and enjoy summer as much as I can outdoors while the weather co-operates and is great. There is a possibility I may head to Wasaga Beach in Ontario, Canada someday soon. Maybe during the week.

It is also Canada’s Birthday today, so Happy Canada day! Remember also that today is the soccer match between Italy and Spain. Who do you think is going to win? I am cheering for Italy. VIVA ITALIA! Where will you be watching? I plan to have a nice restful time at home and watch it or at a relatives house. Lets see how this day progresses. Have fun! Have a safe and happy summer!

 

What An Incredible Time In Niagara Falls, Canada and USA.

I am so happy to have gone to Niagara Falls again. I am just so in love with that place. The Nature, Beauty, The Falls and just unwinding and relaxing was incredible. I went on Wednesday and came back today. It is such a beautiful place and I feel so rejuvenated to get away from it all and just focus on just myself and joy of seeing beautiful scenery. I stood at the Oakes Hotel beside the Fallsview Casino. I had such a beautiful view of the falls and the USA Side of Niagara and I saw the Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls USA. It was beaming with so many lights and everything. I really enjoyed seeing that at night. The Falls would beam with different colours and would then be shut off at 11pm. simply gorgeous. Then after we went to the USA Side both days and just went to the Seneca Casino, and drove around the town and wow you can sure tell your in the USA. It is a bit different with the roads, and the streets. A lot of the houses around there are so old and some have been boarded up. Craziness. They need to make the USA Niagara Falls side a lot more appealing and better for tourists. They should include a lot more things and build on the USA side and just get things rolling.

So Much is happening on the Canadian Side. Then afterwards for both evenings, hung out with one of my very dear friends who resides there and we just had a blast. Now what made me laugh was I always see the Seneca Casino, Cellino & Barnes, Paddock, Fucillo, Basil Ford, Kenneth Hiller, Freedman, The Airport Plaza Jeweler commercials and when I happened to turn the TV on at the hotel and these commercials came on, I just died laughing because I see these commercials all the time and I was in their areas and I couldn’t stop laughing. Its an inside joke that I have with these. Well, I am back and relaxed…. I was almost late writing my blog for today and finally I did….

 

My Travel’s Of 2012, Got More Exciting! Niagara Falls, Canada!

I am super happy to announce that I will add Niagara Falls, Canada into the list of my Travel this year. I have been to Niagara Falls Many times and I just love the beautiful scenery and all the exciting happenings there. I have been on Clifton Hill’s attractions like Ripley’s Believe it Or Not, Guiness World Records, Haunted House, SkyWheel, Then dined at the huge Burger King. Niagara Falls is a fun and relaxing place. Now, I cannot even begin to describe the food there. Its incredible. I remember going into Zappi’s Pizza where not only do they serve Pizza’s but a whole assortment of Italian foods, and other things. I remember getting the Chicken Parmesean, it was so tasty that I even was about to eat the plate too LOL. There is IHOP on the Canadian Side, as well as CopaCabana, Hopefully I got the name right. Its across from Imperial Hotel. Now I went to Swiss Chalet the last time I was there and the portions were humungus. 2 people can finish one plate. Well, depending on what you get as well. There is a Hershey Chocolate Store toward the end of the strip by the old casino Niagara.

Niagara Falls offers a wide variety of things to do for the Adults and Kids too. Niagara Falls has several hotels on the New Fallsview Casino side and the other side where the Four Seasons and Hilton Are by the Skylon Tower, As well as near the Casino Niagara which is called the Old Casino but you can still get in there. The Skylon Tower is quite similar to the CN Tower in Toronto, but this one is much smaller and the tower pod is a little bit more wider. Have you been to Niagara Falls? Its beauty is so breath taking.

We went on the USA Side of it, and There wasn’t much there except the Seneca and a few outlet malls nearby in Buffalo and one on Military Rd I think. There is an Olive Garden Nearby and Wegmans Grocery Store. So we spent about 3-4 hours on the USA Side and decided to head back to Canada where all the action was. Now when we drove around the Niagara Falls, USA Area and county’s I thought of all those Commercials from Buffalo on Lawyers, Hardware Store like Valu, The Jewelry Kiosk, The numerous amounts of Car Dealers. LOL I was re-enacting all those commercials. Fun times. So Now when we got back to The Canadian side, we decided to just take a stroll around Niagara falls, went right down to the falls to see the beauty. At night time in summertimes and spring times they light up the falls with different coloured lights, and sometimes they would have fireworks shows, but I believe that is in the summertime. Its so cool. Put Nagara Falls on the map for you if you have never gone. You will have a blast there.
