Tips to keep your children safe during Halloween

1. When receiving candy/chocolates from going door to door, it is advised that Children do not eat and dig into their goody bags until it is thoroughly inspected by the parents, guardian.
2. When wearing dark coloured costumes and jackets, it is advised to put Neon/Fluorescent sticker’s on them or a construction workers vest, so that it makes sure the motorists can see them.
3. Drivers, take caution and drive slowly, especially… around residential areas. Well, that should be at any time of the year. 

4. Children should be careful crossing the roads, and make sure to go door to door safely. I know its an exciting night for them to receive candy and try to fill up their bags, but they need to exercise caution as I am sure the parent/guardian will keep them supervised at all times.

5. Lastly, have fun, be safe and enjoy Halloween night.

My Beautiful 30th Champagne Birthday Celebration

On April 30, 2015 I turned 30 years old. They say that the day you are born of the month and the age you turn becomes your champagne birthday. It was a big milestone I celebrated about a week or so ago. On May 1st, 2015 All my great friends who are like family to me came and celebrated my birthday with me. There were so many surprises for me one after the other and I was absolutely touched and from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate all the hard work, determination, dedication and everything that went to giving me the best birthday celebration of my life.

This week has just been incredibly overwhelming and the beautiful feelings I had and still do. I was so absolutely touched and surprised so beautifully, that even as a writer/blogger myself, I just didn’t know and have all the words to say how grateful I am for all the excellent incredible detailing that went into my beautiful party. I apologize deeply that it took me a while to put all my full feelings and input on my birthday celebration.

First and foremost, I want to acknowledge, and thank my sister/good friend Aline Rosy of many many years now, who is a ray of sunlight and brightness in my life and 2-3 months before my birthday, when we were discussing my birthday celebration details, and where I want to celebrate my birthday, it took a while for me to decide where and we finally decided to have the party at my house. So as the weeks and days got closer, Aline went to the ends of the earth to make sure my birthday will be a very memorable and special one and she sure demonstrated excellency from her caring heart, her beautiful soul into making everything so perfect. Not one thing was left out.

As my birthday week finally arrived, My Sisters Aline and Talar came and assisted with decorating my place to make it all ready. Now as the day on May 1st when I had my party arrived, I had one surprise come to me after the other. It was fantastic and absolutely beautiful.

– She made this incredible bean dip with cheese, and other yummy ingredients, which was so delicious. I could not stop eating it and which was all finished the very next day with left overs.
– She also ordered and custom made a special yummy birthday cake which was the Facebook Like Thumbs up symbol made by Alice Lumsden Vee which represented me and my social media journey. I said in my mind, I have to cut this beautiful cake now?
– She also surprised me with delicious image cookies by Passion For Desserts with images from Bradley Cooper, Social Media, I love Montreal, Boston, Champagne Bottles, Armenia Flag, My Image, my 30th birthday, My Expertise in Cooking, also Travel, done by Alxiomir Portales.
– She then surprised me with a beautiful collage on a big board filled with all my great memories, and everyone who is in my circle, and my world with stickers and everything that represent me and my life and my moments from the past to the present.
– Also All the other detailing that was beautifully thought of and done.

Aline’s excellent efforts did not go unnoticed and everything went so well. That night will forever be embedded in my heart and it will spoken about for years to come. I am absolutely grateful for everything. I cannot thank her enough. I love you so much, so deeply. Not just for everything you did, but just for being you, and for being one of the greatest friends well more so part of my family, for being there for me, and loving me unconditionally. Hugs and kisses. I am truly blessed.

Happy 10th Birthday Facebook! Taking Social Media To A New Level

It was 8 years ago that I joined this social media website to stay in touch with family, friends, people in relative to me and people I have met through my travels and beyond. Little did I know, that the circle would get bigger. I met some incredible, beautiful, lovely people from this social media website that I began to meet some of them in person a few years later, which made the world a smaller place. I have yet to meet a few people who I so badly want to meet that I met from other friends on Facebook by merely commenting on a picture or status message and we automatically grew fond of each other, so we added each other and our friendships have blossomed since then.We have become like a family and its an amazing feeling to know that you can take time away from life’s busy schedule and converse and keep updated with your Facebook Family online.

Facebook unites many people around the world. Its incredible on how things fall into place, and see how many people are interested in the same things you are by just joining groups, pages and fan pages of a famous personality, idol, or other miscellaneous things.

Facebook definitely makes the world smaller and in seconds a lot of photos, videos, links, news, sending wishes for birthdays, baby, wedding, engagement, graduation, university announcements, invitations to events and parties, status messages, comments, messages, likes, groups, pages, businesses, food, restaurants, menus, recipes, radio stations, entertainment, movies and other things gets transmitted throughout the world. Sometimes all you need is Facebook to get all your news and information with the help of Links of course. I love Facebook because it’s a website that I am so grateful for and for Mark Zuckerberg who created this so that our communication becomes easier with the world and encountering many people on all walks of life.

Thank you Facebook for Connecting me to the world and to people I would never have met if it wasn’t for you. I am so blessed to have you all on my list and I love you all very much! Mind you, I am very careful with my selections on who I choose to add-on my friends list. I have been around on the Internet since 1997 and I am very well-educated when it comes to social media moguls and everything else.

If anybody has anything bad to say about Facebook, it’s because of the way you use it, Some use it carelessly, some use it to do bad things, some use it to do stupid things. As long as you use Facebook wisely and know what you are doing, and what you are sharing, posting and who you have on your Facebook account, that is good, but do not post every single aspect of your life as it can be misinterpreted. So the bottom line is, if you do not want your personal business on a social media site, do not post it at all because somebody can see it within the second you post it. Some things have to remain private and don’t use Facebook to bully others, hurt or offend other people, Photoshopping in a bad way and making insensitive posts. Post wisely, because each thing you post does not go away, even after deleted. Especially on a Social Media website, that can be accessed by billions of people around the world. So be careful, exercise caution and use it to inspire, to be kind, to do great things with it like communicating, and enjoying it.

The Talk on CBS – My Love For The Show

Last year in 2012, I was flipping through the channels on television and suddenly I stopped flipping when I saw this show, and I automatically fell in love with it. I really like Julie Chen, Ayesha Tyler, Sharon Osborne, Sara Gilbert, and Sheryl Underwood. I like the topics they bring to the table and it really gets you to think and I really like hearing their opinions on certain issues of the world and getting their take on these issues were facing. These ladies of the Talk are lovely, beautiful, and bring so much talent, so much energy and I watch their show everyday and I try not to miss an episode. Although I was late tuning into the show, that I know its been on for a few year now, but I am glad I did flip those channels when I did. I hope one day I will get to go to see a show or be on the show in Los Angeles and contribute my thoughts and opinions of mine for whatever issues arise when they speak on the table.

I have a tremendous amount of respect and love for The Talk. CBS has some great shows and I am a big fan of CBS. I am very happy to spend an hour a day of my life with these beautiful ladies. I feel like they are my sisters on TV. I hope to one day meet these lovely ladies Julie, Ayesha, Sheryl, Sharon and Sara. I love you all very much. Introducing You to Boston, Massachusetts – My New Happy Place

On July 21st, 2013 I remember it being a sunny day and out of the blue decided to book a trip and I said to myself, I must go and I have to go, so Last Month on August 22nd, 2013, I embarked on a solo mini getaway trip to Boston, Massachusetts which has been on my bucket list for quite sometime. When I was on the plane I could see from the distance that we were approaching the Boston Area which was beautiful as I could see and as the Pilot announced that, all of a sudden I felt this warm and beautiful feeling that I knew I was going to a place where I would instantly fall in love with. I was still in the sky and I could feel the wonderfulness of the city and surrounding vicinities which made me so much more excited, but it was the people there who are like my family to me that was most important to me to see when I was there. When I approached the land and as the plane came to a complete stop and taxied to the gate, My smiles were from ear to ear and I got so excited even more.

As I was leaving the Aircraft and as I left a text message to my dear friends whom are my sisters who are like family to me, came and picked me up from the arrivals at Boston Logan International Airport, then the fun and excitement really started. As I saw from the sky, I saw up close and personal of how beautiful Boston really is and its surrounding areas. I grew so close to my friends whom are my sisters and we have this bond that is unlike any other and its something so special to me. I really must say that I had a special happy place to me which was Montreal, but Boston triumphed and blew me away. I felt something different in this city, then I did with Montreal. The warmth of the people, how welcoming, and how incredible everything is.

I was at Fanueil Hall, I Saw Quincy Market, I went to the Cheers Bar where the famous iconic TV Show was aired, Went to the BAHSTAN HAHBAH(Boston Harbor), When to Gloucester(GLOWSTAH), Rockport(RAKKPAHHT), Got to go to the cheescake factory, got to shop at Macy’s, got to go to Burlington Mall, thanks so much to my sisters and brothers for taking me around,  I also went to the famous university of Harvard (HAHVAD), touched John Harvard’s Shoe and so my sisters and I decided to get me graduated with a PHD, and so I bought a T-SHIRT with Harvard on it and my sister had a CAP and GOWN and a book that looked like a Diploma Degree in my hand, so we decided to take a picture of me and instantly upload it onto Facebook and instantly I kept getting likes, and congratulations comments and the likes surpassed over 165 likes and more. It felt amazing and it was so funny.

So, the reason why I wrote HAHVAD and GLOWSTAH is because the Bostonian Accent, and the way they speak there is in that Dialect and they TAHHK differently and they don’t pronounce the R’s in some words and it becomes into a AH, and when I came back to Canada, I started talking like that and I am still doing it from time to time since I got back. I definitely want to go back to Boston and soon. It is my new happy place and it is a place that I find to be amazing, lovely and warm but because of the people there. I felt this connection that I cannot even describe. If you have never been to Boston, I suggest you make a visit and make it part of your travel plans. You will love it like I do and you will not stop talking about it. I love it so much that I became a New England Patriots Fan, A Boston Bruins Fan, A Boston Red Sox Fan, A Boston Celtics Fan. Any team Boston, I will root for them. LOL. Now people are calling me a Bandwagon Jumper and A Traitor, but I am entitled to whatever teams I want to like and root for and I can like what I want to like right? Right.

I had the most amazing Lobster ever in my life at the Lobster Pool Restaurant in Rockport, Massachusetts, and the taste is still in my mouth. I loved it so much.

I ultimately and most importantly enjoyed my quality time fully with my beautiful ladies whom are my sisters and got to spend time with their families and it was so beautiful. I felt like home in their homes, I felt like I was part of their family and it was a feeling that was indescribable and I thank them so much for everything, and for us creating our special memories that I will always remember for my whole life. I miss them so much already. It was so difficult to leave Boston. I was almost going to Cancel my return flight to Canada and stay few days more. I am so hooked on Boston and especially hooked on my lovelys. I love them so much. God bless them and their beautiful families. You all mean so much to me. Facebook Made The World Smaller – So Thankful

Hi everyone, In the past few days I have been thinking a lot about this subject on how Facebook changed my life and in great and positive ways which I will never forget in my life. In the last 4-5 years that I have been actively on Facebook, I started by actively joining groups and pages of which my circle of friends grew bigger especially in the Armenian Community when I joined RADIO AGA which is now Armenian Voice. AGA Stands for Armenian Greek Arabic, and including other pages but with great people of course. I could automatically feel how nice and great those people are by just the way they write, respond and the way they portray themselves on Facebook. I have that sense to know who is real and who is fake.

In the last 3-4 years I have met many of my Facebook friends in many places, events, and Just one on one as well. Its been a great journey with them and its so special to me when we get together. Minutes, seconds and hours count when you are with people you meet from so many places and when you come together its something so incredible. I am ever so grateful for those times spent, although they are short, but they leave an everlasting great impression. It felt great, their voice, their touch, their facial expressions, it is almost identical to what and how they are online, but nothing compares to real togetherness offline and in person. That is how I felt every time. This past weekend I met many people from Facebook for the first time and a few of them I met before in the last few years and it feels incredible. Probably one of the best feelings ever. Facebook has become a special social network for me. I connected with great people whom I can relate to, whom I can easily converse with, whom I can share who I am and not be afraid of anything.

When you make arrangements to meet with Facebook Friends with planning that moment, the anticipation, and being so impatient to look forward to that moment where you first lock eyes, and see each other and know how you both look and that moment is so amazing that you never want to let go of that moment and treasure, cherish and keep it in your heart forever. There have been many times this has happened to me when I met someone from Facebook for the first time. I can’t even put it into words on how precious those moments were for me. I am such a happy person because I love being social, I accept people into my life, but good people though. I automatically feel it. It’s that first gut instinct that puts a great perspective. Another thing is that I do not just add anybody to my Facebook account. I must have been talking to someone for a while to add them.

I am rich beyond compare because I have great and beautiful people in my life. Material things do not do justice to me and my life.

I really dislike the part where you know you have to part again, the time when you are in mixed emotions that make you cry which happens to me, but I know I will meet them and see them again, and until then we can communicate on Facebook all over again. I am ever so grateful and thankful to my Facebook friends whom now I call my brothers and sisters and who are a big part of my family and consider them as part of it. There is just so much to say. Thank you for brightening up my world, thank you for giving me hope when I thought there was none for me, thank you all for giving me that boost, for keeping a smile on my face, for everything. I dedicate a large portion of my life to them. When I was bullied heavily back in the day in school and everything those are the thing of the past, and my Friends now have made me forget those times and those times will never return again. I know it. I am excited for life, happy, and feeling pretty darn well amazing. Blessings to my Friends Brothers/Sisters. I salute, cheers to you all.

Reuniting With A Very Special Person in My Life

Hello all, I am filled with excitement tonight as in a couple of hours, I will be reuniting with a great, close, special friend whom I call my sister for so many years now is coming to see me and I am so overwhelmed with happiness as she is getting near to my town to see me. It is the greatest feeling ever. I have not seen her since February 26, 2012 when I last visited Montreal and I am just so overly excited to see her again. I miss her so much and this is going to be a great reunion and we have so much catching up to do, and creating more memories. Those times we used to see each other 2-3 weeks at a time and I remember how much we used to see each other back in the day, but again it will feel great to be together instead of always messaging each other on Facebook, and text messages. Time to finally be physically together which is so much more awesome.

I am jumping for joy. When she told me she is coming this past week, I got so happy, emotional, and joyful at the same time and it was a feeling I will never forget. We may not be sisters in blood, but were sisters at heart, mind and soul, and I consider her part of my family. She is one of the most important people in my life and she has a big place in my heart, my world, my life and everything in my being. I have been awake all night and will pick her up in an hour and 40 minutes from now. I am super duper hyped up about this and so much time we have to make up for all the lost ones in from February, 2012, and up until today. Well, I must go, but time to get ready and time to enjoy. I feel like I am going to cry with happiness when I see her, so I gotta prepare myself :).

Today For The First Time Ever, I Met With My Online Friend From The Miles – It Was Beautiful!

Since 2009 when joining The RADIO AGA Station online and joining and liking the fan page, I began to socialize with so many people around the world and since then we have all been conversing and we became a Facebook Radio AGA Family all thanks to the founder of RADIO AGA Jack Kojek who has made the world smaller and has joined and united everyone under one group which I am so happy to be part of. Today at approximately 12noon I met with one of my great friends whom I consider a sister from the many many miles. She came to my city and we finally met face to face. It was an incredible feeling. We hugged each other and couldn’t let go almost lol. It was a beautiful moment. It is so much more different and better to be in person and it was the most awesome feeling ever to finally have met her. We sort of blanked out in the beginning of what to say to each other and then as we settled down of our shock, we began to have awesome conversations and it was the most beautiful moment ever. I did not want it to end. I love her so much. She has a heart of Gold and she is such a beautiful person inside and out.

I know who is sincere, nice and very sweet just from the way someone writes online and the way someone carries themselves out. She is a beautiful person and today was one of the biggest highlights of this year. Last year I went through it by meeting someone from Boston in Montreal when I was there for a summer Armenian tent party at one of our Armenian Community Centres, and I had met another person from our RADIO AGA Family. It was an incredible experience just like today. I was thinking about that today. It felt so great today. I couldn’t believe myself after so many years typing and just seeing each others pictures, it became a reality and up close and personal. Hearing each others voices, and see each other face to face. That was so special this goes for everyone else who I have met from our lovely online family.

There are so many people I have yet to meet and I will get there eventually and hopefully especially those from many miles away. I was left speechless at one point today, but it was so beautiful. I am hoping to see her again before she heads back, which I probably will. I love her so much. Shes is a down to earth and wonderful lady. It only takes those special few people in life to call my sisters and she is one of them. I am so happy beyond words. I love her so much. God bless her and her family always.

I Hope to Meet My Brothers and Sisters of RADIO AGA Soon…

In Early 2009, I joined this wonderful website and Radio Station Family, Called Radio AGA. AGA Stands from Armenian, Greek and Arabic, and those are the types of music this wonderful Radio Station plays. Our Founder and Brother of Radio AGA Jack Kojek, is an incredible person, whom I have had the pleasure of meeting a few times since then. He is a vibrant, energetic, and wonderful person and I wish him continued success with everything he does.

I have met many of my brothers and sisters of RADIO AGA, but I have yet to meet so many others from parts of US, Canada, Europe and all other places. Too many to mention. We have established a community to chat with each other on the wall on the Facebook page with over 7,000 members. Recently, I have not been able to be as active as I have been on the discussions, but I try to get on there as much as I am able to. I love my Radio AGA Family and I do not want them to think that I have forgotten about them, which I certainly have not. They are beautiful people I have spoken with online and we have become great friends. I am hoping to one day cross paths with them and meet each other face to face to create more memories. It is very awesome to meet people you speak to for a long time and actually meet them. Its an emotional moment. I had that last summer when I visited Montreal for a Summer Fest party. It was a special moment that I will never forget.

Radio AGA has become an important and integral part of my life. When I thought I didn’t have friends, they definitely made a big difference in my life, gave me so much hope, faith, love, and thats how I have become more positive and optimistic about life. I have so much to be thanful for, God works in Mysterious ways to get me to people whom I call My brothers and sisters.

I know probably some of you will not understand Armenian, Greek and Arabic music, but if you like to join our family on RADIO AGA and tune in to listen to the beats, and rythyms, feel free to do so. You will automatically be part of our Family in our RADIO Community. All are welcome.
