Deep Wounds of Genocide – Armenian Genocide

Deep Wounds of Genocide April 24, 1915 – 2016

In Remembrance of the Armenian Genocide

By: Talin Orfali

101 Years After, We Still Hurt,
Many People displaced from their homes,
Men, Women, Children were taken to the desert,
The Innocent Were forced to walk the many miles,
seeing murdered bodies by the piles,

heads, flesh, arms, legs broken up in pieces,
Bodies and innocent humans were left hung,
survivors looking to their loved ones seeing the crying faces,

Deep wounds of Genocide That will never heal,
The blood of our ancestors/family that we all feel,
Lands, Landmarks, Churches, Mount Ararat that they stole,
hearing the sad voices of people’s soul,

Terrible inhumane criminal acts,
Turkish Government that still denies/lies about the facts,
The Armenian Genocide wounds are so deep,
That the Turks tried so hard to sweep,
However, they could not succeed,

1.5 Million Armenian’s Massacred by Turkish Soldiers,
These are the wounds that will forever be on our Shoulders.

FITTING IN IS SO OVER-RATED – FIT OUT INSTEAD

In life as we grow up, some people have the tendency to always want to impress people, and be like everybody else and be someone they are not in order to fit in. Ladies and Gentlemen, boy’s and girl’s, it is important to never try to fit in anywhere. Take a step back and think about who you associate with, or where you are and want to be employed with.

Being yourself is the best fitting in you can do. There will always be people who will appreciate and accept you for you. In this world, I truly believe that we all have people that suit us, who can relate and understand us. It may take time, and sometimes not, but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel that you will see. Fitting in is so over-rated. If you ever think that something is wrong with you, and the way you are, that is just something absolutely ridiculous.

If ever in your life, you find that you are in the wrong place, the wrong chapter of your life, change your place, change your chapter and change your life. These are messages that are being sent to you saying that, its time for you to put your foot down and do something that will benefit you. Not for others.

Don’t ever be afraid to disappoint people just because you are not in their league, or do what they want you to do. Never allow others to make a mockery of you. Just because you are where others are, it never means that you do not have what it takes to do something or be someone special, because you are special and you do have what it takes.

Always be happy with who you are. Do not be afraid to fail, and never be afraid to try. Who cares if you do not fit in? you are in the right direction to be an individual that you are. Not on other people’s standards. Others standards do not matter, what truly matters is how you want it to be.

Don’t ever give up with anything in life. That is the easy way out in any situation. There is a quote I have read online “Why fit in, when you are born to stand out?” I truly believe in that. Stand out to people who are like you, and they will come to you or you go to them.

These quotes I found online as well. (unknown)

– Things just do not happen right away.

– be the change you want to see

– Some of the most wonderful people are ones who do not fit into boxes.

You are the example of your life, and never allow others to write the story of your life with your pen. Never allow them to hold it either. Not even for a fraction of a second. Everything you do comes down to holding your pen and writing chapters of what you want to do and be in your life. Never forget that. Don’t ever fit in. Fit out and do what and be what makes you happy. You are in control of your own happiness.

Sending Prayers to Artsakh & Armenia

Hello all, I apologize for not being able to write yesterday. I was just so upset at what has been happening to my Armenian people in Artsakh & Armenia now with Azerbaijan targeting us once again. They killed so many Armenian and Artsakh Soldiers and a 12 year old boy.

Azeri’s and Turkish people are the same. Well, the Turkish and Azeri Governments.

Later this month on April 24 will mark the 101st commemoration of the Armenian Genocide which happened in 1915 and up until 1923. 1.5 Million Armenians were massacred and as well as our lands stolen in Armenia.

Now, The Turks are striking again. Hopefully this madness will stop. Its getting out of hand. This world is getting out of hand. No where is safe anymore. 😦 I am really scared for the future of this world.

The more hate and violence is spread the more this world will never get ahead.

I Just cant believe what is happening to our world.

Prayers, Peace and Strong wishes to our Soldiers in Armenia and to all those in the Military and Armies around the world. It is not easy to put lives on the line to protect our lands and our people. Takes a lot of courage, bravery and guts to do so.

Azerbaijan & It’s Aggression Toward Artsakh Nagorno Gharabagh

On April 1st-2nd, 2016 Azerbaijan’s Government decided to strike Artsakh/Nagorno Gharabagh with drones, helicopters and other destructing devices, but did not succeed. Artsakh’s soldiers caught it in time, but unfortunately a 12 year old boy was killed and other casualties, injuries among the heroic innocent civilians and soldiers who once again were caught by the Azerbaijani Aggression. 18 Soldiers are killed, 30 wounded.

The massive launched attack was full blown and is once again proof on how barbaric, cruel criminals they are. Our prayers and thoughts are with the wounded, killed. We stand strong with Artsakh and Armenia during these difficult times and always. In order to bring peace in the world, we must always raise awareness to prevent, educate, recognize, acknowledge and promote to stop Wars, Genocides, and Aggression.

The brave people of Artsakh and Armenia has already seen too much. This last attack was extremely caught off guard, but our soldiers and our Army is always prepared if the inevitable happens. You cannot trust Turkish and Azerbaijani’s at all. They absolutely love to fight and they thirst for blood. That is all they live for is to see others suffer, be killed and to live in deplorable conditions and a lot more. They have done so much damage and has put a permanent scar on each person, each culture and race they have put their dirty, evil hands on.

If these things are not proof enough of what cowards and disgusting these Turkish and Azerbaijan Governments are, then I do not know what else to say. It is not the people that are at fault and to put the blame on, it is the government and those who control these countries and its people.

This month of April is the 101st commemoration of the Armenian Genocide which took place on April 24, 1915. There too, the Turkish Government killed 1.5. Million Armenians, stole our lands, displaced people from homes, raped women, killed children, men, women, terrorized, made our people suffer in agony, all the blood, bones, flesh were all over the place, the stench of death was everywhere.

The Turkish were seen having parties, drinking, laughing and enjoying the sights of our people hung, heads cut off and thrown around to fall into pieces.

This all goes hand in hand of the terrible aggression they show and continue to do so. Some countries still have not recognized the Armenian Genocide and I just do now know what they are waiting for. These acts that the world is seeing now, should be viable and full proof that they committed these acts and they are trying to repeat history. Azerbaijani’s and Turks are the same people and they just do not understand and never will.

Lets pray for world peace and stop these terrible acts in destroying our people and our world.

Almost time for Los Angeles!

In just a few weeks, I will reunite with Los Angeles, California. I am very excited to be there. A few of my friends I know there are so much more impatient than I am to see me. I have made a lot of friends from Facebook and some I met last year and this year will reunite with them.

We met through a radio station we listen to and there was a page and group dedic4ated to it. It was called Radio Aga. Armenian Greek Arabic music and now Armenian Voice.

I am super excited to see everyone.

Hospital Patients & Smoking

In our life sometimes the unfortunate happens when we go visit a hospital to see a patient, or go for appointments, tests, and check-ups or something good like going to see a new baby born. Now, we may see the occasional patient with pajamas and IV and machines that follow them outside and you see them with a cigarette smoking. Now, someone who is on oxygen or something you see them light it up is something so ridiculous. It defeats the whole purpose of being in hospital.

Patients are gone to the hospital to get healed and you see that happening. It is ridiculous. They are making matters even worse for them and a slower healing process with smoking. Then the terrible stench of cigarettes by the doorways when exiting and entering into the hospital. That is terrible. I feel like grabbing those cigarettes and throw them on the ground and then throw it in the trash where they belong. Nothing is healthy about smoking and don’t know why people do it. It is disgusting and so terrible for health.

Have you seen people smoking while they are staying hospital?
