Happy Easter Everyone! Wishing You The Best

Hello everyone, I am going to keep this short and sweet today as Today for some people it is Easter and I’d like to wish you all a happy Easter and wish you all the best. Many blessings to all of you. Thank you for your continued support in reading, and engaging into my blog. It is much appreciated. What are your Easter traditions? What do you cook for Easter? Is there anything in Particular that you and your friends or family do during Easter time? In My Family we get together for dinner, then we have egg cracking contests, distribute Chocolate, and then we usually pray and Thank the Lord for all that he has done for us.

Remember, it is not just about the Chocolates, Bunny Rabbits, Eggs, and the Pretty colours of Easter, it is about our Jesus Christ who sacrificed his life for us all and his love for us and he was crucified on the Cross. Today, Jesus Rose, and he is watching for all of us, but Easter may mean different things to different people and that is all okay too. What are you most Thankful for when it comes to Easter time? Being with Family and Friends is the most important and coming together during days like this is something great. It should always be that way right?

Well, I am going to keep this short today, so I wish you all the best and have a blessed and joyful day.

You Are Never Told Old To Learn Something New.

In the recent and In the many years I have been in the community around me, I have always heard people talking negatively about themselves and age, and they have said that, I am too old to learn anymore, I am too old to do things, but no on the contrary, everyone learns everyday and don’t even realize it. Everyday passing day we learn something new about ourselves, we learn about something new in the world, we learn about our loved ones, and about what all of us love to do. You are never too old to learn things. People always put themselves down and that should not happen. Each one of us are different in how we learn, some learn by listening, some learn by doing, some learn by following instructions in a manual. Each and every one of us learn in our special ways. Some of us are fast learners, and some of us take time, but in the end we are learning and that is something so much more special than anything else. The worst thing you can do to yourself is put yourself down and say mean things about yourself, saying I am a failure, I am someone who doesn’t know anything or can’t learn anything. When you put your mind to something you can do it and you can excel. There is no such thing as can’t. All it takes is time and effort and things will fall into place, but if you keep on bringing yourself down all the time, that is not the right approach to anything in life and that makes you look weak and inferior to everyone else.

Be yourself, and do yourself a favour, don’t think about those who bring you down and your confidence down and those who always have something to say to you about yourself and your willingness to learn. I have put all that negativity behind me and I see clearly now than I have ever before. I have this new profound love for learning and I am working on my dreams and working very hard. With Hard work, determination and confidence you can get anywhere, and it starts with learning everyday, excelling to achieve and attain new goals. I am very excited and happy with the new adventures I am about to take in my life. I am destined and determined to have my own talk show on television, I am determined to go through those obstacles, and challenges and I look forward to it all. You need to go through struggles in order to cross the bridge and be in your home plate with new adventures that will take you places in this world. I am super excited to learn all of this and it is such a great feeling to know and finally find my passion and something I am destined to do for people around the world, to inspire, to uplift, for people around me, communities of the world, my loved ones, and for myself for last. I think of others a lot before I think of myself and I am going to get my own talk show and I am going to reach the rainbow, and I am determined to make a difference in this world because this world needs a big make over and this world needs big changes and I plan to help with that more than anything else in this world.

It will be a challenge to get up there, but it won’t be long now. I am almost there. I just need to find the right connections, the right people and I appreciate and thank everyone who has supported me along the way with my loved ones, fans, and everyone else who is important to me who follow my blogs, who read my blogs. You all are important to me, and I thank you all for the beautiful comments I receive and everything you all have said and done for me. Thank you to my rebloggers, thank you to my pingbacks, thank you for promoting my blog, thank you for promoting my fan page on facebook which I have on the right side menu on top and thank you all for inspiring me to keep writing everyday and going for my dreams. You all mean the world to me and I love you all very much more than words can possibly say. All the best to everyone, and keep going for your dreams and never stop learning. It is one of the greatest gifts of all time. Learning never gets old

I Love Being Called A Human GPS – I Only Learn Once

One day almost 12 years ago when I turned 16, I remember passing my written computer driver exam to get my first License, in Ontario it is called the G1, Graduated licensing system that Ontario put into place, and I got out of the driver examination office excited and jumping around saying I passed I passed, it was a great experience. Not even a week later I started driving around and learning from my Dad, then I went to driving school, then I obtained the G2 license. After that I started driving on my own without supervision, and it was so incredible, and I started going to places and remembering where I am going and all it took is once for me to drive somewhere and I learned it very quickly. My dad and so many others say you have a gift of being strong and recognizing directions. In the last few years, I have been called the Human GPS (Global Positioning System), and that made me feel incredible to know that people trust in me in directions. I go to a place once and I am all set. The first time I need help to get somewhere, so I resort to my GPS, but then the second, third, forth time I go, I don’t need it anymore. I also love explaining directions in detail and they love it.

It is one thing to be a passenger and one thing to be driver. I have always observed even when I am a passenger and I learned a lot quicker, but when you get to really drive, its a lot more different because your the controller of the car, steering, brakes, and everything and people trust in you to make the right judgements when changing lanes, which way to go and often times your passengers sometimes tell you where to go if your dropping someone off at home or somewhere else, and among so many things, and its really important to observe always and remember where you go. Exercise your brain and always be aware of where you are. I always do and I have success always. I remember taking a friend home once and picking her up, she explained to me once how to get there, and now I don’t need to have a GPS Anymore. I love driving and I love driving responsibly.

When I got my full license called the G license 4 almost 5 years ago, I started to develop that special drivers eye, and started developing more skills in driving, and being more experienced. As I got all that experience, I started making long trips, and gaining confidence in myself to park, to reverse park and more. It feels amazing to know that people trust in me to give directions and no one has been lost. I feel like a Human Onstar and Navigation Voice in cars. I remember one time when I was heading to Montreal many years ago, believe it or not, I memorized all the exits, towns and cities all the way to Montreal from Toronto, and people were amazed at the names I was giving out during a conversation with someone who was going to Montreal and I gave it in the right order, not scrambling it all up. It felt incredible.

I cannot even begin how much I love being called a Human GPS. It feels great. If you want to know how to keep your memory and how to get somewhere without being lost the second or third time, just always remember the surroundings, a certain building around, a store name, an intersection, remembering the left, rights, straights, All very important and create a photographic memory in your mind, and just observe very closely. Then you too will become a Human GPS. Sometimes people go somewhere 10 times and don’t remember. Take extra time to familiarize yourself with the surroundings. It always works for me. I love it.

All the best to you all! Be safe on the roads and focus while driving.

Anyone Remember Super Mario Bros. Nintendo Games?

Lately I have been having the urge to bring out my old Nintendo Game Console along with my Super Mario Bros’ Games and play them like old times. I remember when I used to know all the secrets to the game and I used to use the Game Genie to play Super Mario Bros’ 3, I knew all the tips and tricks on how to get through the levels all the way to world 8. I remember I used to play with my Brother. I rarely got the chance to be Mario because I am the younger sibling so I always was stuck with Luigi playing some of the games. Super Mario 1, I also played Duck Hunt too. It was such a fun game and I remember I was a pro at it. Probably now if I play it, I will be a little rusty and I won’t know what to do on some parts, but I used to play enough that I should still remember it. I liked the Mushroom and the 1ups the most. The stars were fun too, along with the leaf. The First 3 Mario Bros’ were the best. I didn’t like Mario on Nintendo 64 or any other gaming Console. The first Nintendo was the best. Then when the game didn’t work, we had to blow warm air into the game cartridge so it worked. I am a huge fan of that gaming console. I really don’t like the ones that are out now. I am not a huge fan of them.

Original Nintendo, nothing beats it. I remember I used to play that game with my cousins, friends and we used to have hours of fun with it. Our game was Mario Bros’ most of the time. Konami games too. What was your favourite Nintendo Game? Did you enjoy Super Mario Bros’ too? Did you own a Nintendo before? What are your favourite memories when you played it? I think people still play it to this day and I know a lot of people who have kept their Nintendo. It is a collectors item now and a classic. It would be crazy to give that away. I am having the urge to play it today. I maybe will later on. Hopefully if time permits me to do so. I remember I used to have so many whistles. I used them all up to go to the world 8 on Super Mario 3. I once played all the levels without using the whistle. It is more fun that way. I remember the ones with the aquarium and fish levels. That was so cute with the different types of fish in there, but you had to get away from them and head to the finish line before time was up.

I know Gaming Consoles have evolved so much since then, but nothing beats the Original Nintendo no matter what anybody says. Those were the days. I like Original things, and I appreciate the way things were made before. I felt the quality even though we had to blow into the game cartridge, but that was half the fun. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I would love to see the Original Nintendo come back as it was so popular before. Nothing beats the 80’s and 90’s of Gaming. Would love to hear about your memories.

Facebook’s New Timeline – Much Better Than The Previous

This morning, I woke up did my morning routine with washing up, eating breakfast, washing my dishes and I decided to get on my Facebook to check my messages and notifications, and I go to my Facebook Page and I see that the timeline is changed and I think this way it is better. All your wall messages, and things you post are on the right side whereas everything else from the liked pages and interests are on the other side. Last year I could not respond to all my birthday messages because they all got lost in the older timeline. Now it will be no problem to respond to them all. This new timeline is so much better. I can finally read things properly and I can finally do things on my page without having to struggle all the time. Do you like the new timeline? Do you like the way Facebook is now?

I’d still prefer the old fashioned way before the timeline was introduced though, but this is a great vast improvement on Facebook’s part which I am enjoying now. I can communicate better with my family, friends and fans, I can update it better and everything else. I remember when I did the mistake of switching to the first timeline, and where a lot of people were still on the original facebook and then eventually everyone got it, but I admit this new timeline is great and it brings a whole new twist into social media and communications. I can see everything more clearly and that is the way it is supposed to be.

What is your opinion on it?

Have a great day!

Kindness Always Matters In This World All The Time

Today, when I was out, I saw a quote that really hit me close to my heart and there are a few things I always believe in and to me they are the most important, but what strikes out is the one about kindness, and today’s quote I saw was “Kindness Matters”. It always does and its something I have always been taught since I was a child to always be kind to others, and always do great things and not expect anything in return. I truly believe that when you do kind things and be kind to others, it is something that God will see and you will be rewarded with great things in life and you will go places. I know sometimes that is hard to believe when you do good things for others, and sometimes they don’t appreciate it and you keep getting used and used like crazy, but always know that whatever you do, its something great that you have accomplished. In this world were only here for a limited time and the time spent on this earth is short-lived, so live life wonderfully with being kind and fruitful. It is important to reach out without asking anything in return. All good deeds do not go unnoticed. You may feel it at times, but to be honest, it does not. God sees it, the Angels in heaven see it and you see it.

In the last couple of weeks, Bible Study started again at my Armenian Church and I am ever so grateful it started. It gives me an opportunity to go out and reflect amongst other people who attend the bible studies, and it gives me time to listen and interact with the priest and others about kindness, about the importance of being fruitful, and someone who reaches out to others. Bible studies teaches me a lot of things about life, the spiritual life, and about the modern society we all live in now, the priests tells us so many stories of his life, and what he’s encountered recently and he tells us things that empower me and probably to others as well. Kindness is something that I have always been fond of, and it is something that has embedded into my life and without the proper upbringing of my immediate family and relatives, and the community I live in, I wouldn’t be who I am today. I want to thank so many people in my life for giving me that poise and that life to get out there and do great things, attend bible studies, and attend important events and retreats that are educational to the mind, body, soul, spirit and the heart. It is important to cleanse our souls, to be kind, to be respectful to others.

No matter who anyone is, colour, race, ethnicity, orientation, big, small, tall, short, blonde hair, brown hair, black hair. I doesn’t matter. Were all one body and were all on this earth to serve a purpose in this life. We were all chosen and it doesn’t matter what you do, the ultimate thing that does matter in this world is kindness. Do it and you will be amazed on how it changes your life for the better. When you wake up every morning, Kindness should be on your agenda everyday. Use it and share it around. You will be surprised on how great your day will be. Have a wonderful day.

The Joyful Moments Of Cooking. How Much I Love It

In my life, one of the most joyful and satisfaction I receive is when I cook, bake and enjoy my time in the kitchen with all my favourite kitchen appliances that make my cooking a lot more enjoyable and fun at the same time. I was 8 years old and I remember cooking rice for the very first time. It was the best feeling in the world when my mom taught me how to wash it and cook it. Now with my mom’s supervision she watched me as I cooked and she said, great job and it was my first time doing it. I got so excited. From then on, I started cooking a lot for my family and then as soon as I turned 14 years old, I did not need supervision anymore, and I could do everything on my own. I learned how to make lasagna, chicken soup, and other different types of food since I was 10 years old. When I turned 20 years old, I began to take over the kitchen and I would tell my mom to go relax, and I told her I got this. So now without my mom being in the kitchen, I do all sorts of dishes, I bake cakes, cupcakes, I make cookies, jello, home-made ice cream, fruit platters, salads, I marinate meats, I make meatballs, Ravioli, Armenian and Middle Eastern Dishes, I make my famous Chilli, different types of breakfast, dips, sauces, and everything, Among other delicious things that my family, and who comes over to my house, that always want seconds and even thirds sometimes. I sometimes think, I should have made extra, but I love it when there is no left overs.  I love-making everything from scratch. I seldom go and buy ready-made easy stuff, I enjoy making it all on my own. The best way to make it and you know exactly what is going into your food without all the added calories and ready-made products. Sometimes you see ready-made pasta, and lasagna trays from the grocery store, I never even touch those. I make mine fresh. You never know how long those things have stayed like that. I’d rather do it myself and it is a lot more fun that way.

I remember a time when I invited my whole group of friends over for Armenian Style Ravioli Called (Mante, Manti, Mantuh, Mantee, However they spell it), and the whole extra-large pot finished amongst everyone and to this day, they want my Armenian Style Ravioli, but that day will come again when I will invite them over.  I remember a time when I cooked for over 20-25 people and all on my own. I had over 4 or 5 different dishes with salads, meats, and rice. It was a lot of fun although it was very hard to take it all on myself, but I made sure that the flavours were perfect and that everyone enjoyed it and they sure did. I love taking on big tasks on my own. Although it is great to receive help too, but I like taking on challenges and doing things on my own. especially when it comes to cooking. I don’t know, but I have become a perfectionist in the kitchen and I just love things to be cooked evenly, the sizes and I love the presentation. Even if it’s just for my family on a regular dinner night. I just love the presentation. I get the joys and satisfaction when doing so.

When I go grocery shopping, I also donate food to the less fortunate, and I put food in the food bank boxes that are put in front of grocery stores or in certain shelters, at my church they have food banks and I put a few non-perishable food items in the box. I love donating food to them. Knowing that a family out there who is less fortunate and needy is fed, that also makes me happy and that also makes me feel great that someone doesn’t have to go to bed hungry at night. It feels great to donate.

Food is my specialty and knowing that my family enjoys it and knowing that I made this with my love and care is what it important to me. I don’t cook because I have to everyday and I don’t cook for the sake of it, I actually love doing what I do and making sure my family is fed with the best possible nutrition.  Happy Cooking everyone!

I Love Organization and Neatness – It Makes Life A lot Easier

For several years now, I have learned to become more neat and organized when it comes to my room and my own washroom. My mom always taught me the importance of being neat and organized so that I can find things a lot quicker and when I can get things done quicker when I need it. I am such a Neat and Organization freak as well as being super clean. I love to get those Plastic Drawers, and all those organizational boxes, drawer organizers for everything. All this comes natural for me everyday. I am so happy when My room is nice, neat and tidy. I never leave home without my bed being done, without my room being in tip top shape. It gives me a piece of mind when I am out, because you never know when a spontaneous visit comes up and you never know who sleeps over at your place. It is very important to maintain your home no matter what.

I love to colour coordinate my clothes in my closets and in my wardrobe. I always love to maintain them and use same hangers for each outfits and things I hang up. I love White hangers and white plastic drawers. My colour’s in my room are Greens, Pinks, Beige, Neutral colours. Whenever I come home, I don’t like to leave clothes lying around, and I either put it in the wash or if its clean I hang it up, along with my shoes and accessories. Everything has a place. I have learned to declutter, while keeping my things in order. I have a place for all my handbags, accessories, and so much more.  I have all my things stocked up and I do not like to get so many things when I have it.

I don’t buy so many shampoo bottles, and so many things. I like to get one or two of them at a time sometimes 3, but I do not buy anything until they are finished. It takes space and also I don’t like things like that to sit for long periods of time. especially shampoos, deodorants, lotions, cleansers, and toothpaste. I really don’t like to waste it.

I sometimes never leave my room because I enjoy it so much and I am super happy with all the work put into it because I live in it and I live in My home and my home must be clean all the time. Its very important. All in all to me Organization is incredible. In future when I have my own home, its gonna be one, that when people come over, they wouldn’t want to leave 🙂

Talin’s Spinach, Mushroom, Red Onion, Whole Wheat Spaghetti in Mushroom Sauce

I have not written a recipe in a while, so I decided that today is all about a healthy recipe. My new years 2012 resolution is to get more healthy, eat well, have regular physical activity and have a well-balanced diet. Eat everything of the food groups, but everything has its limits. Now today, I’d like to start with Spinach, Mushroom, Red Onion Whole Wheat Spaghetti with Mushroom Sauce.

Ingredients needed:

Basil,

Oregano,

Salt (Mushroom Sauce will have Salt in it, but just add a little bit more into it)

10-15 Mushrooms(Regular and cutting them until each mushroom becomes 4 Pieces),

2 Red Onions Chopped,

Fresh Bagged Spinach — One or Two Bags

Whole Wheat Pasta — 750 g or 900 g —– Serves 3-5 people.

Mushroom Soup Sauce — 1-2 cans

Olive Oil

To Prepare the Sauce: Remember to wash the spinach, then wash the mushrooms and the onion before chopping.

you put olive oil into the Spaghetti Sauce Pan — make sure its deep enough to then put the whole wheat spaghetti to mix together….

Put in the chopped red onions to cook, but do not overcook the red onions as it will lose its colour…. cook on medium heat.

then quickly put in the mushrooms after the onions cook just a bit

then put in the basil, a dash of salt and Oregano into the pan and start mixing….

then after without chopping the spinach, just put it all into the pan and it will shrink in size. you do not need to cut the spinach.

then your done….. make sure the onions are still red to make it look good and the nutrients from the onions will not go away….

Then you will put in the Mushroom sauce and let it all cook until warm to hot….

To Prepare the Whole Wheat Spaghetti

In a pasta pot put water, but just enough and keep an eye on it so it wont overflow when it boils… add salt and olive oil into the water.

after the water has completely boiled put in the whole wheat spaghetti and let it cook for 10 minutes to 12 minutes MAXIMUM until its al dente. don’t overcook spaghetti or any type of pastas.

Remember to mix the pasta in the water instantly after putting it in and keep mixing the whole wheat spaghetti so it wont stick together every 3 minutes until its cooked

————————————————

Then you drain the water from the spaghetti and you mix in the spaghetti with the sauce and your done…

—— Eat Immediately. You can put Parmesan cheese on top or feta cheese, but make sure the feta cheese is not so salty… there are different types of feta you can buy from a specialty grocery store or a cheese factory or something.

Then your done!

BON APETIT!

You Are Special! Never Forget it! Always Remind Yourself Everyday

In recent years due to the uncertainty and all the negativity, hopeless attitudes that is filled in this society we often forget how special and how incredible each and everyone of us are. We are all unique in our own little ways. Why don’t people just think of the qualities they have rather than bashing ourselves and degrading ourselves to an all time low? It is very easy to get out of context and insult ourselves. I have seen that happen in so many ways. I attend a bible study and tonight it was no surprise to me that a friend of mine came up to me and said that Oh I don’t think I am good at it, and putting that persons self down. I had to intervene and I had to stop him in his tracks and say hey were all special and we all have something or somethings were good at only if we discover ourselves.

A few blog posts ago, I spoke about the same type of thing, but You are your own enemy if you bring yourself down and you start hating yourself and you shouldn’t. Love yourself, get to know your capabilities, get to know your habits a lot more. It is really interesting what you might find.

So readers, I am going to give you a mini assignment, and I want this assignment to benefit you and your life. You are not doing this for me, or for anybody else, you are doing it for you. Now, I want you to take out a paper and a pen or pencil or whatever and I want you to write 10 things great and special about you, then it is totally up to you if you want to share it with me or keep it confidential to yourself. Now that paper that you wrote those 10 good things about you, post them somewhere visible in your room, kitchen, fridge door, wherever you are mostly in your home and keep reading them, then use those good things in your life. I guarantee you, that your life will change, and if you say you do not have anything to write or good to say about yourself, that is a huge lie. You are lying to yourself, and you do not want to do that. So the moral of this story is you are special and you are someone who has good qualities.

There is no due date on the assignment. take your time, spare time for you and you will see. It works wonders.

SO REPEAT AFTER ME — I AM SPECIAL, I AM CAPABLE, I AM UNIQUE LIKE NO OTHER, I LOVE MYSELF, AND I WILL NOT PUT MYSELF DOWN AGAIN!

YOU ARE SPECIAL YOU ARE SPECIAL YOU ARE SPECIAL YOU ARE SPECIAL!

Two Faced People – A Lot Are Around These Days

It seems to me that two-faced people have been surfacing around a lot lately. I do not get how people can be so great with you to your face and be nice and forthright, but behind your back, they say some of the most nastiest and terrible things about you and then you find out about it later. It is not a pleasant thing to hear. You how they say, what goes around comes around. It is definitely true. These days finding nice, kind and a straight shooter is hard to find. You just have to be lucky to encounter that special individual who promises to be honest and real with you. This goes hand in hand with a previous blog I wrote about Fake VS. Real. It is not fair to the person who has put his/her trust into someone and who has expressed, given all the feelings to that person about a serious situation or crisis a friend is going through whether it’s for a relationship, family issues, friend issues, work issues, and very personal things that person has talked about and some people who are two face spread it and behind your back, they do not even care about you. Backstabbing someone is not a good trait to develop. It leads to lifelong struggles and it leads to a person not to trust anyone anymore about problems.

I do not understand why people do these things to others, why two-faced people always seem to concur, and people are with them, more than the person who has become victimized due to that fact. My advice to you readers out there is to stand tall and firm and do not take any of this anguish people have caused you and do not let these things hover you. I cannot stress how important it is to be yourself and to re-evaluate all the people in your life and stick with the ones whom always have your back in situations like this. Be who you are. There are people out there who appreciate you and they will not backstab you and be two-faced with other people. These certain issues of the world can cause tension and stress, but do not let is stress you out. One day someone will teach two-faced people a lesson, but of course not with violence and threats, but a civilized conversation with that person to tell them, that what they are doing is wrong and if the scenario and roles were reversed and if the two-faced person was the person who is expressing themselves and sharing personal and sensitive information, then I am sure they would stop it. Always play reverse psychology. See where you end up, but I am almost certain that those words will change that person’s attitude and the way to live honestly and real. Try it out for yourself.

Cutting Corners is Not A Way To Succeed

In this life there are so many businesses and companies that have been lacking in some things and one of them are cutting corners meaning that they mostly care about making money and increasing their bank accounts rather than thinking about the client, buyer, customer, passenger. It is a terrible thing to cut corners, to make cuts here and there, the quality of material’s have significantly gone down, as well as other important things that keep a business afloat and they should think about quality before quantity. I know as life goes on products, materials and the way companies work is disintegrating and its hard to find reliability anymore and good honest workers.

There are great honest workers out there, but there are some who slack off, who do not want to do the work, who cut corners, and don’t take extra care in the work they do and it is alarming. Carnival Cruise Lines has had 4 ships in recent months that has had similar propulsion, electric engine problems on the ships and instead of cruise lines building bigger and gigantic ships to set a world record, they should concentrate more on the interior parts, such as the engine, propellers and things that keep ships going. Cruise lines should offer all-inclusive non-alcoholic beverages, they should give you photos on the cruise ship they take of you as complimentary as part of your cruise, lower cruise costs, and stop cutting corners. This goes for any company and business.

Its been alarming me these last few months hearing about these cruise lines, hearing about a few companies lacking and the material they make. the cans of coke have deteriorated, the boxed food has been lacking and so flimsy, and the bags with pasta, popcorn you get from the store are so fragile. you have to be so careful with the products and plastic bags have been lacking too. I know it’s all about environment to save, to cut back on certain costs, to save the worlds resources, and costs of living are going up higher and products have been going under. However, these big corporations need to come up with ways to have quality back into their products and not cut corners.

There are still people who work very hard, who are honest, and who work day in and day out who are bread winners of the family, who put sweat, time and tears into their work, there are still so many dedicated workers and some of those people do not even get acknowledged for the hard work they do and I can assure you, I appreciate each and everyone of you for sacrificing, working and doing so much for your life and for your loved ones. You all are great, and congratulations for a job well done.

There are people who lazy around, who go on breaks so much, who slack off and who don’t do much and yet a lot of them get praised for it and whilst people who do work hard get shafted and bosses, managers get them to work harder then the lazy people who should not even be employed.

I know it is easier said than done, but cutting corners just won’t have any business, company or corporation succeed, even in homes, buildings, building material and the construction that has been performed on homes, condominiums, industrial buildings to compromise and put people in danger. Honest work is the best work, and when you are honest with your clients, customers it is the best way to get through anything and everything will be great. Cutting corners just won’t do any justice, and sooner or later the truth will come out and a lot of people will not be very pleased. Be honest from the beginning, and everything else will fall into place later. Honesty is always the best policy in everything in life. No matter what it is.

What do you think should be done with all the cutting back and what do you think about cutting corners? what do you believe should be done?

Blogging is Great – What Do You Use It For?

On the internet there are several hundreds of thousands of blogs that are written with many subjects, topics, issues, hobbies, interests, health, wealth, business, technology and so much more. Blogging is a great way to express ones thoughts, feelings, introduce a person, products, or other things, and share with the world the content we want to whether they are success stories, whether they talk about a persons personal health issues, or something along the lines of everything we want a blog to be. You don’t have to write a big story everyday, it can be anything you want it to be, but also keep in mind that to be careful what you post. As long as it is something that does not offend or target one person, and make the reader feel that you are generalizing, then that is the way to go. Blogging is something great and I congratulate those who have them. It is something so great to see and I love reading blogs, and I enjoy learning so much from so many people. It makes the world go around.

I am so glad to see people engaging into social media and blogging is one of them where you can actually read and feel a persons life and persons opinions, suggestions, and advice they give to people who are looking for the information they want to. What do you use blogging for? What are your thoughts on blogging? Why is it so important to you?  Blogging is a great way for communication and for people to take what they have off their chest and their backs to just go on and write about it and share it to the world. I do it all the time and it feels great to do it. What are you accomplishing by blogging everyday or whenever possible? I am sure all of us have our own reasons, personal reasons, to raise awareness on issues and things and whatever we want them to be right? I guess it depends on it person by person. I love it when I see so many people, meet so many people and just enjoy this world of social media we live in. I bet without social media and communications that are instant these days, we wouldn’t be communicating with people from all continents.

The internet and blogging has made the world smaller and made social media and communicating a whole lot easier. It is a great tool to work with and its a great world out there with so many different people with difference of opinions and suggestions and advice.  I wish you all the best and keep on blogging 🙂

Here is a biography and introducing you his life: also can be viewed on http://chefsuman.ca

The Early Years.

From his early days, Chef learned the most valuable lesson from George Bernard Shaw: “There is no love sincerer than the love of food.” Though this got him occasionally in a lot of trouble. Chef recalls his early days, when his father would attend the local market every morning, to get the freshest seafood and vegetables. With a few culinary steps, and the addition of a few fresh herbs and spices, these were transformed into a delicious piece of culinary art.  “Chef Suman” as he is popularly known by his apprentices and peers, learned the importance of local, sustainable, healthy cooking from his childhood days from his mother, a very renowned Chef in India.

The Apprentice.

He has apprenticed under the able guidance of many of the World’s most renowned Chefs, in Michelin Star Restaurants, The Leading Hotels of the World, and the World’s finest Kitchens.

The Professional Chef.

During his more than 15 years as a renowned and creative Culinarian, Chef has traveled across the globe with culinary careers across the breadth of four continents.  All of this, and a commitment to his profession has led Chef to his current career as Corporate Executive Chef for Campbell’s Soups, a world leader in their class. was also a Chef of the Athlete’s Village for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics serving up his delicious, healthy and culturally sensitive culinary styles to some 2,600 athletes from 82 nations participating in the games. Chef Suman was nicknamed “Gourmet Alchemist” during his tenure as a Chef on the US Presidential Yacht. Chef is often finds himself confronted with this question; “What makes you different from your colleagues?” he replies Flavours… Flavours… Flavours… “It’s knowing how to marry the rich and varied International Flavours, this is an art, not a trade.”  As an avid Locavore, Chef has become as master at working with local sustainable ingredients, fusing International flavours and creating masterpieces.

The Teacher.

Chef Suman teaches Culinary Art at Centennial College in Toronto.

The Award Winner and Author.

Since 2006 Chef has been trying to find the answer to the question; “What is Canadian Cuisine.”  To his surprise, there has not been a consensus.  So,  he decided to travel around the country trying to define what he calls OUR CANADIAN CUISINE.  After almost 3 years of extensive research, came Chef’s award winning book, “From Pemmican To Poutine – A Journey Through Canada’s Culinary History,” which rightfully summarizes his philosophy: “Using fresh, local and in-season ingredients is the basis of much of my cooking.”  This Literary creation scored Chef two International Recognitions – The Gourmand World Cookbook Award in Paris, France in 2010, and the Cordon D’Or Culinary Academy Award in Florida, United States in 2011. Chef was also recognized by the Premier of Ontario for this magnificent creation. In 2007, Chef was awarded “Hero of Everyday Life” and “CEO’s Marketplace Excellence Award” by Sodexo, and “President’s Award” by The Escoffier Society of Toronto in recognition of his contribution to the Community. In 2008, Chef Suman was invited to be the first Chef member to sit in Toronto Food Policy Council, in recognition of his knowledge and passion towards a Greener Culinary journey. In the same year, Chef became the first Canadian Chef to be invited to visit Singapore by IE Singapore to explore the Singaporean Cuisine.  During this part of Chef’s journey, he brought back many authentic Singaporean flavours to the daily life of Canadians. Chef also visited China, the same year as an ambassador of Canadian Cuisine.

Just Because You Have A Bad Day, Doesn’t Mean Your Life Is.

I recently saw a really interesting picture quote saying “Just Because You have a bad day, doesn’t mean you have a bad life”. I really like that quote so much. Life will always have its ups and downs and we cannot control that. Life will bring happiness, disappointments, frustrations, confusions, misunderstanding, jealousy, fortune, fortunate situations, unfortunate situations, different feelings, emotions, bad days, good days, you name it. I think it is very important to realize that just because you have a bad day, don’t go around saying you have a bad life and your life is not going to get any better, bad things always happen to me, the wrong people always come around me, I am always stuck in a middle of a bad situation, My life is gone to the drain. These things should not be even said. Life is here for a purpose, you are here for a reason on this earth. You were not put on earth for no reason. God chose you.

Life is an incredible and wonderful thing. Life is beautiful only if you make it beautiful. Never ever under-estimate your life. Life is a great thing. Believe in me when I say this, just because something is not happening for you right now, it does not mean it ever will. You have to be patient. There is a right time for everything and there is a time for everything in life in balancing work, school, family, friends, community outreach programs, outings, parties, vacations, house work, cooking, and much more. Never say you have a terrible life. It is all in your mind. It is mind over matter and matter over mind. Never look at life as a glass half empty. Always look at it half full.

Tumblr is such a great tool and it helps me so much to find clever and incredible quote pictures and sayings. This one really hit me hard and I had to address this situation as I have heard people around me many times saying they have a bad life, and that Life really sucks and everything. Life does not suck. It is all just an illusion in your mind for you to think that way. Never think that way because when you think in a certain way about something it will always mean it that way to you. Do not think so much about it. Life is a great gift. We go to sleep, we wake up and were alive is all that matters. Life is a precious thing. It is all in the way you look at it. Never ever sell yourself short on anything and especially about what you think of what your life is. Where is that positive vibe? Use positivity everyday in your life and use that energy. It will take you places in life. If your too negative and always telling people about how bad your life is, it will not get you far.

Just wake up every morning and keep smiling and be happy your alive and kicking. Life is about waking up in the morning being amazing and positive during the day and going back to bed. Remember some people do not get another day. everyday is a second chance. Keep up your chin, keep your head up high, aim high, stand tall and keep on going!
