Driving on Two-Lane Highways – It Feels Awesome

As you may or may not know, one of the most therapeutic things for me in life is to drive and I like it very much. I especially love to drive on major Highway/Freeway Arteries, big and small, long and short. When I drive, it is very relaxing to me. I remember when I got my G2 drivers licence, I began driving on highways in Ontario, Canada, especially the Highway 401 going back and forth to Montreal from Toronto, and when I used to go up to my cottage in Tweed, Ontario on Highway 37 which is a two-lane highway in some parts. Then after I got my full G licence, it felt awesome taking control and having that experience to drive all on my own from Montreal to Toronto, which is about a 5 hours drive. I loved it. Listening to the radio/cd’s, Myself, my car and the road. It was so peaceful and incredible.

With that being said, I absolutely love driving on two-lane highways as well. I feel like I am driving out in the country, different lifestyle, seeing farmers, pick-up trucks, old cars, overlooking trees, scenery, farmland, agriculture, fruit and veggie farms, animals, a house or 2 within a few km’s away from each other, followed by passing pick up trucks, big trucks/rigs on opposite side of the highway, then seeing solid lines, then broken lines for cars that are able to pass at that moment, say if there is a very slow moving vehicle in front of you, then quickly merging back into your lane, of course when it is safely to do so. I love road-trips like that, and I have to be the driver, but I am not the one who can stay in a car for more than 8-10 hours. That is my maximum limit. Anymore than that, I would rather fly somewhere.

I know sometimes driving in rural country/county township highways take longer to get to places, depends on where you are going, but it feels incredible to see greenery more and to get up close and personal with nature as you drive along.

Do you usually drive in the family or when you are amongst your friends? Or do you like being a passenger a lot more? I am in the mix between both, but I am the one who likes to usually drive. I cannot sit in a backseat of a car. I feel uncomfortable. I have to either drive or sit in the front.

Do you have a driving memory or story?

Traveling to Wicked Awesome Boston

In life one of the most enjoyable and awesome thing is traveling, exploring and seeing parts of the world. I am especially excited to be traveling to the Super Wicked Awesome Boston, Massachusetts again for the second time Since August 2013 in less than a year. When I was landing to Boston in August 2013, I remember this warm, welcoming feeling as I was overlooking the beauty of it all, and I knew right away I would love it. It is not really the city, but the people there are so warm, friendly, strong, committed to each other, and particularly my great friends there, whom I call my family. I am excited to be reuniting with them in less than a week. They mean the world to me, and just being there with them, spending quality time together, creating everlasting memories is all I want. “Boston isn’t a city, its a family” of which someone had quoted a while back.

Last time I flew down, and this time we decided to take a road trip down which will take about 8 and a half hours. I am so used to road trips, and it will be nice to explore the scenery. I know on my Facebook I tend to talk about Boston a lot, and post up photos of the city, the logos of the teams and all that, but I just cannot help myself. To fully explore Boston and suburbs, you would need at least 2 weeks with the attractions, going to Cape Cod, New England, Rockport. Rockport has wicked awesome lobster at the Lobster Pool Restaurant by the water. The reason why I say Wicked Awesome is that New England, Bostonians say those words, and add super so in their accent, they say “Supah Wicked Awesome”. In my previous blog, I taught people how to do the Boston Accent. You will see what I am talking about.

This has happened many times where now people would ask me about Boston, what there is to do and see, where the hot spots are, attractions, museums, and the iconic Harvard University which I had the pleasure of seeing. What a huge school. I don’t know how the students are able to find their classrooms in such a huge campus. I’d go crazy, but I love Harvard Square. I even got to touch John Harvard’s shoe on his statue. I also got to eat and drink beer at the Cheers Bar which is also known as the iconic TV show which aired in the 80’s. The real one closed down, but the replica is almost exactly alike to the show, but you see the juke box, and all sorts of things back from the show, and they put on the theme song of the show in one part. It is pretty wicked awesome. I also visited the Boston Harbor which is right by cheers, also Quincy Market where I bought some Boston Stuff to take home with me. It was very nice. Visit the Boston Common as well. There is also a Duck tour where there is a vehicle that goes on water and on the road and that is the ultimate Boston experience.

I can’t wait to share stories when I come back. Heres to the Supah Wicked Awesome Boston! CHEAHS!(Cheers)

Don’t Try & Grow Up Too Fast. Take Each Phase Of Your Life As It Comes

Hello, I am sure this has been an issue in almost every household on how children want to grow up too fast and where they go to their moms or dads room to try on big shoes, put on make up, and try on mommy and daddy clothes. I myself have done that. Took my moms shoes, wore them, put on her dresses, put on the make up and then do a fashion show like on a catwalk runway. Then my mom put me to the side and said, Talin don’t try to grow up too fast and put make up on too early. She said everything has its time and you will get here soon enough. I sometimes could not wait to grow up so I can get into places over the age of 18, 19, 21 and start buying lotto tickets, but I have only bought one lotto ticket in my life and that was when I turned 18 years of age from what I was hearing when I was a kid being in adult conversations when company was over, or when we went to other people’s houses, I couldn’t help but hear adult conversations going on, so it intrigued me and that is where I learned these things, but I just continued to being a kid and playing with barbies and other toys.

I started going into Casinos at age 19 in Ontario and in Quebec. As well as Niagara, Falls New York. My curiosity sparked and I wanted to experience it, Not for the sole purpose of gambling, but to get into the casino and just walk around and see the different slot machines and table games. I am not much a gambler and a casino goer but I like to go there to walk around, relax and have a soft drink, water, coffee to relax and to be in the ambiance of colour, noise from the machines. Its pretty awesome, but the moral of the story is, to live every phase as it comes and to live every age the same way. When we are kids we want to grow up so fast and then when we become adults, I am sure almost all of us have said, I wish I was a kid again, I wish I was home playing, I wish I went back to elementary grade school, I wish I was a kid again to not worry about life and everything. Unfortunately we can’t turn back the clock and rewind to where we want to go in the past, but it is important to move forward in your life and take each time you have as it comes. When you feel young at heart, when you feel healthy and content, that is the best lottery you can ever win, and that is the best casino you can be in terms of health, body and soul.

Some people never get another chance at tomorrow, and tomorrow for some will never come. You live once, enjoy each year and make the most of your life. Life is precious and is given to you. You are the chosen one and your put on earth for a reason and you have to be the one to discover it. Life is a beautiful thing and it can be awesome, you have to make it awesome and you have to make life, not waste it away. turning 28 years old a month ago made me realize that wow I only have 2 more years of my 20’s and then I will be saying hello to my 30’s. Hopefully. Which is why you live for today, you live for tomorrow, and surviving in between is what we try to do, but always know, that when you want to grow up too fast, you miss a lot of your years. take it all in step by step, day by day. Growing up is becoming mature, and being mature is what makes you grow up. There is a big kid in all of us, but maturity is key. Life is what you make of it.

Spending Some Alone Time With Yourself, Is Very Good For You.

Hello everyone, today I want to write about my point of views on spending alone time with yourself, and I believe it is very good for you. I spend a lot of alone time whether its in the car driving, or just walking around, going to the mall, and just relaxing and thinking about life and everyone in it. I believe that when I spend alone time with myself, I discover new things about myself, I create new recipes from the top of my head to cook dinner for my family, I think about life decisions, and how things progress in life. I remember when I went out and got some food to eat, and I was just alone and reflecting on my life and where I have got to so far. Yes its great to surround yourself with people all the time, but someday you need to just unwind, clear your mind and relax without interruption and without people around you. I do it a lot.

besides all of that, I do a lot of thinking for the future, and I make plans. I know sometimes when you make plans, it doesn’t go through, but I like making plans in case things go right and when things get on track with life, it is awesome. I love making plans because that prepares me and keeps me organized. I did so much to my room and decor and organizing and making sure things are neat, tidy and where I can find things easily. I spend a lot of time in my room thinking of ways to always improve my living space with how I want my belongings to be, what I want as decor and among other things and places around the house. before bed, I think about so many things and most of it are happy things, and serious things too. I know that life is too short and that we cannot take everything so seriously, but sometimes we have to take measures into our hands and think about serious things. Life can make you or break you and it is a very tricky world we live in, so we have to always have back up plans in life, in case something doesn’t pan out, there is something else to fall into. The more you wait for your future, the shorter it will be. So when you are young, you have to think of all these scenarios.

You work hard when you’re young, so that in future it will be easy. It is all up to a person’s individuality and what we can become of it. We can shoot for the stars, the sky is the limit. I cannot stress how important alone time really is. When you are around so many people all the time and just keep on going out, there is no time for you, there is no time for your life and what you decide and think about. I know a lot of thinking is not good for you either, but always remember, that alone time you spend with yourself, the better you will be and you will discover your personality traits, you will discover how you portray yourself among other important traits that are so critically important. always know that you create your own destiny and you create your own masterpiece of life. You can do it. Remember Rome was not built in a day, to this day the world is changing, people are changing, new people are born everyday, and everyday people die, but it is the cycle of the world and we must discover ourselves. It is very important. So think about it and do something positive for you everyday, and remember to always be happy. Optimism and good thinking habits, will conquer the rest. Take my advice and you will see the difference. All the best to you.
