P.S Peace to all.

Never Give up Your Passion & Talents

Never Give up, and never allow others to allow you to give up.
You never need to prove yourself to anybody.
Your passion(s) and talent(s) are born with you. utilize them, and don’t waste it.

Always be you, follow your passion, do what you want to do, focus on positivity, happiness, what makes you smile and go forward in life. The right people will understand and recognize that. whether it is family, friends, your blog fans and followers, social media friends you met online.

There are some really mean and terrible people out there who discourage, putting jabs at you every chance they get, they say the worst things and hurt your feelings so much that it can and will scar you for life.

I know ignoring it is the toughest thing, but always know that you win when you ignore, you win when you keep your head up high and still follow your passion and talents.

For example, on social media we bloggers, video bloggers would always like positive feedback and kind comments and everything. Depending on what it is all about. I know that people will not always agree and there will be really mean and unkind comments, but there is a way to say things to people, and others do not care if they hurt the person’s feelings. No matter what they say. Now, that is unacceptable.  Never allow someone’s negative opinions and comments get the better of you. Somethings are better left unexplained, rather than explaining to those who will not understand you. Unfortunately, that is how life is and how some people are.

Usually, when people keep throwing jabs at you and those who are negative, really tells a whole lot about the life they are living, and they also think that they are right all the time, and everyone should be agreeing with them with whatever goes on. Those are the type of people who could be jealous and insecure about themselves, so they end up making everyone else’s lives miserable and you end up in the middle of that crossfire. Never allow others to walk all over you. Always speak up and defend yourself. When you do speak up, you will see the reaction. If it means that the person will no longer be communicating with you and everything, then so be it. Not everyone will be like you and not everyone will think like you. That is fine.

That will be a lesson to the person always putting you on the spot, throwing jabs at you.

Sometimes things happen in life that makes us open our eyes, to select our friends wisely and to find true people who will always stay by you, support you in whatever you do in your life. You create your own destiny. No matter how fast or slow and no matter what it is.

Always feel comfortable and you know when they say, you have to get out of your comfort zone? Sometimes that is true, but most of the time it is not. You have to be comfortable with however your life is and will be, and whatever you can handle.

True friends and true people will always encourage you and steer you to the right direction.

Not everyone is and will be on the same chapter of your life’s book. That is why Some people are just beginning to read the table of contents and the introduction and some have not even opened the book and already began judging it by the cover.

Don’t ever give up, be the pen of your life, and write your own life. Don’t ever let someone else hold the pen.

I want the best for everyone, may all your wishes and dreams come true, and Best wishes always.

My Full House Nostalgia – My Dream Came True

By: Talin Orfali

As you may or may not know, from September, 1987 to May, 1995, there was an American sitcom named Full House which was created by Jeff Franklin. It was a Miller-Boyett production. They only broadcasted eight seasons as well as 193 episodes. The show then has been syndicated and rebroadcasted. They then created a series of books and other merchandise that were in the market. In 2016 on Netflix, they will show brand new episodes and a reunion.

The actors and actresses of the show were Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Lori Loughlin, Andrea Barber, Scott Weinger, Blake and Dylan Toumy-Wilhoit, as well as their beloved and adorable dog Comet.

The Show was based out of San Francisco, California, however the show was filmed in Los Angeles in a studio.

The opening theme was “Everywhere you look” performed by Jesse Frederick and composed by Bennett Salvay & Jeff Franklin.

The show was nominated and also won many awards as well as the actors and actresses on the show.

You would hear the iconic quotes and sayings from the show “How Rude?” “You got it Mister!”, “Have Mercy”, “You Got It dude”, “Wake Up San Francisco”, “Tattle-Tale”, “Oh Mylanta” “Not the Hair” “GA-GA-GA-” “I’m Popeye the sailor Man” and a lot more.

——————————————————————————————————————–

In May, 2015 I ventured out to San Francisco, California and my nostalgia hit me pretty hard. My Dream had come true. I began to cry with happy tears and thoroughly enjoyed my experience in seeing the Full House on Broderick St and then the Painted ladies homes at Alamo Square Park. I also saw the Golden Gate Bridge, Fishermans Wharf. I also began re-enacting the theme opening of the show. Some people saw me and started to laugh and knew what I was doing. It was pretty cool. I could not believe I went up close and person with the real deal.

I will never forget it. It was absolutely an incredible feeling that was so indescribable, that I saw it all from always watching the show from my childhood. I hope that I can one day meet all the actors and actresses from the show. That is also on my bucket list that I want to cross it off. Their Stage names are DJ Tanner, Stephanie Tanner, Michelle Tanner, Danny Tanner, Uncle Jesse Katsopolis, Aunt Becky, Kimmy Gibler, Steve, Uncle Joey Gladstone, Nicky and Alex.

I always felt like I was part of their family and I felt like I knew them. When I was a kid, I would always have imaginary friends and I would include them in it and then that is where I was dreaming of celebrities coming over to my home, and trying so hard to reach out to the show. I wrote many letters to the production, but I knew how many letters they used to receive, that I got nothing back in return. Which then afterwards I understood why with all the fans and people also writing to the show. Which is completely okay. I was not upset at all.

It was a great show with family values, taught people lessons on how to act, behave, to have manners, to instill responsibility, and so much more. There aren’t these kinds of TV shows anymore that instill family values with quality and excellence.

I will forever love this show and always will. I am excited to tune into the Fuller House and continue with my Nostalgia. Thank you for the memories Full House. You all meant and still mean a lot to me. I love you all very much. I will always cherish each moment as I was growing up with them.

A Writers Passion

In life all of us, if not most of us in this world have a passion and something or somethings that we are good at, and we should always share that passion with the world. I have a passion and that is writing, telling a story, sharing my experiences, my education, my knowledge, and all the while recognizing, acknowledging things that are happening in the world and that have happened.
I have so much to contribute, write about and do so much for the world in inspiring, sharing, and during that process to being happy and also with what I do and get noticed in the entertainment capital of Los Angeles. I just hope that one day I will catch my big break into that. I am working so hard to reach my goals, to circulate my writings to people in Los Angeles.

Writing is definitely a skill that is so challenging, overwhelming sometimes and also developing writers block where there is a road blockage into rendering more thoughts and fresh ideas. It does happen, but then again a writer always gets out of that road block and gets on the road to write once again. Some write without a rough draft, and some write with brainstorming, outlining and jotting down ideas. For me, I do not need a rough draft. I just write naturally as the thoughts come through my mind and my soul.

If I was residing in Los Angeles, California I would definitely be in the entertainment industry with writing for the big directors, movie companies, soap operas, TV shows, and so much more. I know now with technology and communication that you can sit at home and transmit information to the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, but it is a lot different to sit behind a computer screen and actually being there in the action up close and personal.
It is not about being famous and being popular. It is not about that at all, but merely putting my name out there, to make a legacy for myself, to leave a mark in this world that will have a positive, incredible and wonderful impact that I will have for the citizens of this world of now, tomorrow and future.
As you may or may not know, blogs, social media, article writing, and a lot more important to me. I am so dedicated to my passion and it is a big part of my life and will forever be. It is very hard work and I absolutely love it so much and hopefully people will appreciate that hard work that it takes to write, contribute, distribute, and share to the world.

The Beauty of Armenian Saturday School

By: Talin Orfali – An Alumni – Began in 1989 & Graduated in 1999
 Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Today, nostalgia hit me really hard and I started to think about all the memories and years I attended the beautiful St. Sahag. St Mesrob Armenian Saturday School of Toronto, Canada. As I was heading to make a visit to the school, I saw the symbol and logo which then I tried so hard to hold back my happy tears. My throat was also getting heavy and thinking about the many years that have passed by since I graduated from the school. In 2016 will mark the 60th anniversary of the school. 60 wonderful, memorable and educational years. We will be having a reunion and gathering on April 16, 2016. I am excited and impatient for that. day.

In 1999, the school began its inaugural trip of a lifetime to Armenia, to go up close and personal with the real deal. I was lucky enough to be in the first graduating grade 8 class that ventured out to Armenia with my fellow peers, as well as our incredibly awesome teacher whom we call “Baron Antranig” Chillingirian. I will forever be grateful and appreciate his dedication and passion toward Armenians and Armenia. We spent almost 20 days there, with touring Paris, France as we had over a 10-11 hour layover. We were also lucky to have flown with Armenian Airlines which was in service back then. It was a great feeling hearing the announcements on the aircraft being said in Armenian, and before boarding the Aircraft, seeing the name Yerevan (EVN Airport Code), was so lovely to see and that this was real, it was finally going to happen. I am so glad I was able to join my fellow students and go on a trip of a lifetime and the best trip of my life to see my beautiful Armenia.
The feeling was indescribable, a feeling that I could not even comprehend. It was absolutely incredible. I was on the soil of my motherland, my home, and I instantly felt a shiver of happiness go through my body as I kissed the ground. I cried many times too. I just couldn’t believe that I was in Armenia after the many years of learning about it.
St. Sahag. St. Mesrob Armenian Saturday School is and will always be so near and dear to me and my heart and will forever be an important part of it. The Armenian Saturday school gives the opportunity to teach the importance of our culture, beliefs, alphabet, history, the Armenian Genocide, heritage, churches, landmarks, innovators, authors, our Armenian Alphabet inventor Mesrob Mashtots, how to read, write, and speak Armenian. Also to teach the students about our traditional music, dances and give our students the utmost in excellence in an educational, successful,  nurturing, healthy and safe environment.
God willing and hopefully one day when I have my family and my own children, that they will follow in my footsteps, as they grow up to join me on this continuing journey to send them to St. Sahag. St. Mesrob Armenian Saturday School. It will be so important for me to instill the same passion, and love I have for this school in them as well. It is going to make feel so great to see that I once was a student and now they will be too in the future.
I have so much to be thankful for especially to my parents, grandparents, for allowing me to have the chance to grow up in my Armenian community, who instilled values in me, to make Armenian friends, to learn about my culture and heritage. I also give thanks to the many teachers and teachers assistants I was blessed with and for them to have patience and guiding me through the 10 years that I was at the school. I really appreciate it so much. I love you all very much. I miss my beautiful Armenian school so much. I am truly blessed and will forever be grateful for all the experiences and education that fulfilled and brightened up my world and my life.
I am sure that the feelings and thoughts of my nostalgia are mutual with past alumni students that also attended the school. God bless St. Sahag. St. Mesrob Armenian Saturday school, staff, teachers and beyond. Wishing you all an educational, healthy, successful, and safe future ahead.

Talin’s Mouth-watering 2 Layer Penne Lasagna

I know you are probably thinking Penne Lasagna? I’ve made that possible. Who says that you always need to put Lasagna dough sheets to make Lasagna? Not to me. As long as you have Pasta Noodles of any kind that is large to mid size. I am not saying the Acini De Peppe, Orzo, and small noodles you use for soup and all that. I am saying Penne, Spaghetti, even Rotini. I have tried, tested and tasted. It is delicious! Well, let’s get started.

Depending on the number of people that you are serving in your family or your friends. It is in your preference.
This is for a family or friends of 4 or 5.

You will need:

– 900g of Penne Rigate Package (depends on your pan size as well and number of people)
– **Onions or Garlic are Optional. (It is your choice)**
– Oregano
– Basil
– Tomato Paste
– Tomato’s
Mozzarella Cheese
– Parmesan Cheese
– Cottage Cheese
– Extra Lean Ground Beef
– Sea Salt – (Never use table salt) **To your added preference**
– Grinded Black cracked Pepper
– All Spice

To begin:

1) Mash the extra Lean Ground beef into small pieces, cook it well done in a pan. That is where you will add just the Tomato Paste and Sea Salt. add about 4tblsp full of tomato paste and 1 and a half tsp of sea salt. (Add water, but not too much) You do not want your Lasagna to be Soggy. Add just enough to mix the tomato paste with them together.

2) In a separate small mixing bowl add 1 tbsp Oregano, as well as Basil, and all spice – Mix them together

3) Wash and Slice 4 fresh tomato’s – use Tomato on a Vine or Roma Tomatoes. put them aside.

4) In a mixing bowl add the grated Mozzarella Cheese and Cottage cheese. Mix it together.

To make the Penne:

1) Make sure you put a little more than half a large pot of water

2) Boil the water and put Sea Salt and as soon as it boils, add the Penne. (Never put any kind of noodles in a non-boiled water, it will stick to the bottom of the pot and stick to the other noodles)

3) Immediately stir the Penne so that all the noodles will become tender evenly and keep mixing ever 2-3 minutes. Let it boil on medium heat for about 10 minutes. If it needs more time, then go to about 11-12 minutes. MAX. (Do not overcook and make it mushy. Take it out while it’s al dente)

4) Drain and set aside to make 2 equal parts of the Penne Rigate, but first Mix the ground beef/tomato paste mix with the penne before Parting them. Add the Oregano, Basil and All spice mix with them as well.
In a Medium to Large Pyrex Pan:

1) Add cooking oil spray to the whole pan.

2) Add the first layer of the Penne and even it out.

3) Add the cheese mix – then Put Parmesan Cheese

4) Add the layer of the Tomato’s

– **for the Last layer – Repeat Steps 2-4 but add #4 first, then #3– Add the Parmesan Cheese last.

—————————–

Oven Settings:

– Bring the Oven to Convection – to 375 degrees before you put the Lasagna in.

– Let it cook for 30 Minutes

and there you have it.
Penne Lasagna. Bon Appetit! Enjoy!

Bloggers are just as Important as Journalists

In recent years now, technology, social media and ways to communicate with the world have advanced so much. Today writers, journalists, and bloggers have discovered a way to get our feelings, points, experiences, current events, society and education across the world. That is sharing a virtual journal and diary so the world of people can read what we write. I am sure there are still people in this world that do have a hand written journal and keep contributing to it.

Now, I have come across some statuses on Facebook and other means of social media that what bloggers say is not as important as an educated journalist says that has been published in major newsletter and newspaper publications, news broadcasting sites and more. I find that to be very offensive, and so terribly rude of them to even have the audacity to write those things.

Some of us bloggers and those who contribute to social media may not be educated in journalism or some sort of writing programs, but that does not necessarily mean that we do not have a voice and that we do not matter. We are as important as a professional journalist. We also have the right to write what we feel, and nobody is better than the next person. We all have our writing styles, our abilities to share our words, thoughts, experiences, society, news, and updates about our lives and what influences us.

We also have that right to be published in major newspapers when we submit our craft to them. Just because a person has a diploma, certificate that only gets accepted in them doesn’t mean that they are more important than a person who does not possess them. When I e-mail some newspaper publications, they will not even look at me, but then I say you know what? It is their loss for not giving me that chance.

It is not about being famous, putting my name on the map of the world that people will recognize, it is mostly about getting my word across, and feeling great about it that I made someone’s day, that I inspired, educated and gave insight to somebody else who looks for a certain type of information whether it be about a school project, generalizing, and even educating one’s self about anything their heart desires to look up.

Bloggers somehow seem to have a bad rap because we tend to get more personal with our craft and that a blog is not a writing style, but merely an article that is meant for grade school and high school level that English teachers give to students to complete a creative writing assignment.

I am not saying that journalists with a diploma do not have a talent and who are not great at what they do, That is not my intention to say at all. I am saying that we bloggers and of course, journalists all have something to give out and have worked hard to get up there in the world and success is always under construction and improving, and getting up on that ladder will never end. Bloggers too! Even those who just joined the writing and blogging world. No matter how new or advanced we are, we still matter and what we do as well.

Not a lot of people can do what we do, not a lot of people can put words, sentences and phrases like we can, and they look up to us and want to read, get insight, and want us to contribute to their lives and what they are feeling or thinking about at the moment, but do not have the means to share it in writing.

I think that out of the many people who do write blogs on a daily, weekly or monthly basis have a talent, and we must utilize it. We do not have to prove to anyone anything in our craft, but just to shine what has been instilled in us. We all have a talent that we need to shine through and contribute to the world, and if writing and blogging your talent, and if you feel accomplished and good about yourself at the end of the day, then you have done your job. Never give up your passion and never let others rain on your parade. Best wishes to you on your important blogging journey.

In The Heart Of The Sea – Moby Dick — Herman Melville

In The Heart of The Sea

Film Creator and Director: Ron Howard

Played by Actor Chris Hemsworth as Owen Chase.

Moby Dick – Based on the novel story.

Author: Herman Melville
Published: October 18, 1851

In my words about the movie and the true meaning behind it:

It was a compelling movie. It tells a story, it captivates the hearts of many, the will to survive, the will to sacrifice, the will to go on, the bravery, to battle one of mother nature’s strongest most dangerous to battle the wild water, sea creatures, the violent weather, a vessel in the midst of everything, crossing paths with those who talk unrealistically to try to succeed in bringing a valuable resource in the world to the rich, so the rich become richer, where the mid and low-class work hard in dangerous and treacherous conditions to endanger themselves for the sake of doing so. The unfortunate thing is that they harm a sea creature in order to get that resource.  The sea creature is the whale.

Most of the time it ends in tragedy and hopefully teaches the greatest lesson in life to never test mother nature’s strength and most importantly never to test what God created. It will eventually be the boomerang effect and come back to haunt you.

The vessel/sail ship that they took out to sea was named “The Essex” of Nantucket.

The survivors of the journey to the sea come back home to describe what had happened and why some of the passengers of the vessel did not survive and the ship that eventually listed, and sunk. They were embarrassed what was the end of the Essex. Of course, it was a mammoth sized whale.

Ben Whishaw plays the part of Author Herman Melville who writes the story.

A lot of lessons to be learned from this movie. If you have not seen “In The Heart Of The Sea”, I suggest you do.

All this and more.

A little bit about the Author Herman Melville:

Herman Melville was an American Novelist who also wrote poetry, short stories and one of his most popular was “In The Heart of The Sea” of Moby Dick.
He was born on August 1st, 1819 in New York City and passed away on September 28th, 1891 in New York City.

He has been influenced by Nathaniel Hawthorne, Edgar Allan Poe, and among many others

Welcome to Canada Syrians! Thank you PM Trudeau

Dearest Honourable Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Canadian Government,

I am so proud of you PM and the Canadian Government for taking this positive initiative and beautiful step toward welcoming Syrians and Armenian Syrians to Canada to start a new, safe, happy, comfortable, healthy and great environment. Also for giving them new opportunities, where these people do not have to worry about the unsafe and harmful conditions that they were unfortunately stuck in. You made the impossible, possible and the smiles, the sense of relief on their faces when they landed in Canada, they can finally feel what freedom is, where they can hear peace instead of hearing bombs. You are the prime example of a true, down-to-earth and incredible leader who demonstrates selflessness, who is keeping promises you made during your Prime Minister Campaign, who shines to us and the world and remind us that we can trust and have faith again in Canadian politics and we can depend on you. God bless you PM, Your family, Canada’s Family and our country. I am proud and honoured to be Canadian and I love you Canada!

Welcome to Canada Syrians and Syrian Armenians!
With Love Always,
A Proud and Happy Canadian

Are We Missing out on Life’s Experiences With Screens?

Due to Popular Demand and so I decided to repost this today from yesterday.

Long gone are the days where simplicity, enjoyment, living life at the fullest extent, enjoying and experiencing life without the use of smartphones, tablet screens and so many more. Are we really missing out on life’s experiences? Everything in life has its limitations, and in today’s society, people tend to go overboard with posting everything and anything they see. They are not really experiencing life, they are merely trying to capture anything and everything to share on social media networks, capture photos and share them on photo sharing sites.

Long gone are the days where people used to go to concerts and shows where everyone’s eyes and attention was looking at the stage without wanding lights coming from smartphones and tablets. Now with thousands of people capturing moments with their devices, these concerts and these special events in a person’s life is being video taped by the videographer’s of the concert, venue, and even when people witness a wedding or a reception.

I understand that you want to keep your personal memories too, of which taking pictures and everything and that is fine, but always wanding a device isn’t really the same as actually witnessing something happen before your eyes. Some moments are meant to be lived without screens, and where down the road you can remember it in your mind, and the good times to remind yourself and those who you lived those memories with.

I mean yes, special and beautiful events such as babies when they are born, their actions, and everything else need to be documented and everything, and there are moments in a person’s life that should be kept private and not for the world to see. Do not worry if you tell someone what your child did, or said that they will not believe you. They will. You do not need to always have proof or a video of something.

You really do not have to be in competition with the world and join a popularity contest because you want to be the first ones to capture something and put so many hashtags, and post something for the sake of posting something. It should never be that way.

People have the perception that if they do not capture, video, then post it on social media, the internet, tweet about it, that some people think that they are lying without providing proof that things actually did occur. I think that everything has its limits and not everything should be published online. Some things should be kept a secret, things should be kept private. Unfortunately, privacy is non-existent in today’s world because of these devices.

When people travel and explore the world, people will always have that force of habit to document every moment with screens, but the world has become smaller and people are more familiar with everything because people do research and look up videos and get more curious to find things out all the time, but the important thing to remember is that it is not fair to capture something, and then the soon to be traveler going to that place will see what it is all about and then that person or person’s will not be surprised anymore. It will all be spoiled for them

Some things are meant to be left unsaid, some things are meant to be explored without having people always telling others about something. People need to experience and form their own opinions.

I am all for and support smartphones, video, cameras, tablets and other devices, and I have them as well, but there is a limit and a lot of people now have crossed that limit. Screens have become addicting and it is so on the rise, that some people cannot go 5 minutes without looking at their phone. They bring it with them to bed, they check messages before bed, waking up, during meals, at work, during cooking meals, tending to their families, even while driving. Nobody should have their phones or other devices while driving. That is not only dangerous but very ridiculous.

In the past before all these devices came out, how do you think people passed their time? There was twice as much homework to do after school for the students, school times were longer, there was no use of devices, people had to make their own games and toys to physically play with, not one of those gaming consoles, people were outside playing, enjoying the true essence of life, more love, respect and family time, people didn’t have the luxury of instantly finding information, where they had to jet off to the library to find books, encyclopedia’s without the use of the internet or software.

With all that being said, people need to put their screens down and look up to enjoy life more, to witness things, to observe, and to capture the beauty of the world with your eyes. Not with screens. They shouldn’t be your eyes. Be more social, talk, take a pen and physically write without the use of keyboards and keypads.

Think about it. Experience life, put down your device and do it right now.

They shouldn’t be your eyes. Be more social, talk, take a pen and physically write without the use of keyboards and keypads.

Think about it. Experience life, put down your device and do it right now.

The World Is A Beautiful Place, We Need It

The World is Beautiful place to be and to live, and, of course we need it to go on about our day to day life  however, Some people take a lot of things for granted, some people take advantage of others, who are never grateful for those around them or the things they have, some people are so materialistic.

Some people have learned to hate, do and think negative things in life, greediness, selfishness, and who are surrounded by negativity, hate, killing, disrespect and lack of love, dignity and who have pessimistic attitudes. We need to change that, and we need to change that now.

We need to pray,
We need God,
We need people,
We need health,
We need togetherness,
We need more kindness,
We need more love,
We need more respect,
We need more inspiration,
We need more attention to goodness,
We need to accept each other,
We need to stop racism,
We need to be selfless,
We need to feel and be appreciated,
We need to be thankful,
We need to be thoughtful,
We need to spread more good news and good cheer,
We need to support each other,
We need to help each other,
We need to be around positivity,
We need to stand up for one another,
We need to be honest,
We need to be reliable,
We need to smile,
We need to be optimistic,
We need to follow the right path,
We need motivation,
We need fun times,
We need to enjoy.

We are blessed with many people and things in our lives, we just need to recognize, acknowledge and be well aware of that.

We are all special, beautiful and great in our own ways, we are also unique. We should always count our blessings and be who we are in the process.

What are you doing to better your world and everybody and everything around you?

Feeling Very Nostalgic Today

Today during the morning hours as I was listening to music from the past on my iTunes playlist which was Adiss Harmandian and International Vatche who are Armenians who sing a variety type of songs, I felt very nostalgic. It also brought back many emotions and happy thoughts as I was remembering highway 401 East and a cottage we used to have in Eastern, Ontario, Canada, a town named Tweed and the countless amounts of times we would drive to Montreal and a couple of times I drove on my own.

Now, you are probably wondering why the music is involved in this, is because they were the artists that we would listen to in the stereo in the car when we would drive down. It never missed. These singers would always be involved and included in our road trips to the Cottage, Montreal and abroad.

The Nostalgia was kicking in even more when I was scouring through the internet for images of the town, the cottage we used to own, highway 401 East, and it went as far as the service centres and things we would see on the way like The Big Apple on the south side of the 401 on exit 497, Percy St. Do not confuse it with The Big Apple in New York City.

I know you are also wondering why I am having nostalgia over a highway. Well, Highway 401 East from Toronto all the way to Quebec has a sentimental place in my life and in my heart and it will always be a special place to remind me of the great drives we have had, and I was crazy at one point in driving in the worst possible snow storm which took over 7 and a half hours to get to Montreal, where on a normal day, would take about 4 and a half hours. In Montreal, I have plenty of friends and I would go and hang out with them every 2-3 weeks. I went about 35 times in one year, and that does not even cover the rest of the years.

So, today all those thoughts and memories came back to my mind and it was a great feeling. It has been about 3 and a half years, I have not been back to Montreal. Just that life got a whole lot busier, a lot of work, and I have traveled quite a lot as well to so many destinations, that I have lost count and now, I am so occupied with my work in Social Media Marketing, and also being a professional in it.

The Nostalgic feeling will never go away, and I will always remember the good times. I am going to make a trip to Montreal and Tweed, Ontario once the winter goes away and spring comes. I definitely need to make a trip there. I just want to drive and I just want to see my beautiful people there and go back to where my Cottage used to be and relax by lake Stoco.

I have written Articles about Tweed, Ontario, the Highway 401 and more… To read, them simply search my blog on the top right side of my blog page above my Facebook Fan Page. Thank you.

Have you had a great nostalgic moment in your life?

Would love to hear from you.

All the best.

My Love for Candy Crush Saga & Soda Saga

Creators by King:

Just over 2-3 years ago, maybe more, I was looking around Facebook and all of a sudden, I see a section of games you can play to pass some time, so curiosity sparked and I decided to click on Candy Crush Saga. You may have heard about this game by now. It was created by King. Now, as I began to play the levels, it kept me highly entertained and more interested in finishing more levels.

Now, Candy Crush Saga consists of many levels where you have to bring down the ingredients such as cherries and some other tree nut, some of the levels you have to clear the jelly, eat the chocolate, remove candy bombs in time, some you have to get so many points within a time limit, and all levels have a certain amount of moves where you have to finish the level in between them before having 0 moves left. With the candies, if you get four beside each other it makes a striped candy. If you get candies that look like a cross or an L shape, you can make a wrapped candy. When you put the strip and the wrapped candy together, it clears a partial section of the board and new candies fall down so you can have a chance to finish the level. when you see that you can put 5 candies together, it makes a sprinkled candy where you can clear the whole board if you put both together or just a colour, and so much more.

So, after the Original Candy Crush Saga, I migrated myself to play Soda Saga, where you can find bears, eat the honey and save the bears, make fish when you match a colour like a square, where you can pop the bottles, and everything in the Saga one, is the same concept, getting the bears in a bubble above the string candy, but I find that you can do a lot more with the Soda Saga. Now, I am quite up there in levels. I tell you, it gets more difficult as you go along. Some levels take one-two times to finish the level, some take quite a lot of lives to finish it, and some take days to do it and finish the level.

Now, with all that, People give these games a bad rep, and some request that they don’t want to receive any game requests. That is fine and I respect some peoples decisions, but Candy Crush Saga and Soda Saga are games that make you think about your next move, strategy, how to make smart moves that gets you to pass a level. It is a lot of mind exercise, it keeps your brain working, it also keeps you motivated, dedicated and gives you the confidence to say “Hey, I can do this level, and I will not give up”. King creators have made this an app as well where you can access and play from your smartphones, tablets, and of course the computer.

There are some people that are so into it, that they purchase more lives, more boosters, so that they can beat levels quicker and advanced to unlocking more episodes and segments of the game. To this day, there have been millions of downloads and millions of people playing this game worldwide. It has also become the talk in social media, creating memes, seeing people obsess over the game, and now there is a chatroom beside the candy crush game where you can interact with other players and offer some insight and share the love of the game and it can sometimes be frustrating as the levels get challenging, but it is all for the fun of the game and that is the beauty of it all.

You see people playing candy crush on public transportation, on a flight, at the airport, at home, office, at the malls, and other public places. It has become very popular in the world and people to this day, continue to play it. I play it all the time now and especially Soda Saga. It is the only game I play on Facebook that I thoroughly enjoy. Thank you to King and the creators of it. I am absolutely in love with the game and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. It is a great game to keep your mind going and working. I truly believe in that. Thank you for getting my mind working more and now the game has become more easier for me since I am above level 455 now and counting.

Trust me, this game is so fun and you can be on it for hours on end if you keep passing levels and you have 5 lives and then you have to wait a certain amount of time to gain more levels back if people do not send you lives right away. You can ask other Candy Crush players for more lives, and you can also send it back to them for being so generous. It is absolutely awesome.

Do you play Candy Crush Soda Saga or the Original or both?

What are your thoughts about it?

If you have not got into the Candy Crush world, and would like to, join in on the fun and level up as you go. 🙂
