Bible Studies Online

Live Bible Studies Online.

I feel that we are losing the real connection with Bible studies that are being recorded live on social media. Pointless and Unnecessary Covid protocols ruined everything.

Social media bible studies has given people the opportunity to stay home to disconnect people to gather physically in one place. It is not the same when you are at home. Home and other places distracts you. Some don’t even stay for the full duration Online.

I think Bible studies should be something that should be taught without cameras like how we did before covid. We need to go back to where there was a room full of people of all ages to make friends, to enjoy fellowship and make memories outside our homes.

We got too comfortable in our comfort zones. We shouldn’t be Online doing Bible studies. We need to focus without our phones and screens in our hands. Society has lost its way. Not everything should be Online. There needs to be a limit. Go out and enjoy these times.

Time is precious. Your church and community needs you. Yes, you can read the Bible anywhere and pray anywhere, but don’t forget to go to Bible studies in person where it’s more personable and you can reflect, ask questions and be proactive if you like or you can just listen and write notes for you.

Don’t depend on internet so much. The reality and real life is out there. Covid was the plan to isolate everyone at home. Don’t let that pursuade you. God bless you and keep you safe. Please go to your local Bible study and safe journeys as you go. May God be with you.

Disagreements are a part of Life – Be Kind to One Another

In our lifetime, we will always come across different individuals who think, and say things that are opposite of what we think and say. We must always realize, that not everyone will be on the same page. We all have our differences and in the end we must always be kind to one another. Yes, we will disagree, have our own ideas, suggestions, and advice, however there doesn’t need to be rudeness or arguments back and forth. Some circumstances and depending what it is, the bottom line is that we have a choice of the way we act and behave in certain situations.

It is all about respecting each others differences and not discriminating against one another. It is how the world works. If we are all the same, everything else will be the same. Be kind to each other, because ultimately kindness matters in the world and if we take those measures, we will go very far in life. Do not stress the small stuff.

Be Kind to One Another — Ephesians 4:30-5

Getting Back to My Roots – The Armenian Community

After a long hiatus, I am heading back into the doors of my local Armenian community centres and churches. Time to return back and do more things and be active in the community. I have been so out of the loop lately. After going through many things of life in the last little while, I decided that it is time and its now. I need a new perspective on life and what matters to me the most. One of them is giving a helping hand and being there for my Armenian community. 2 more hands make a big difference and its something that makes me feel incredible. In the past I have accomplished, achieved and been through a lot with meeting so many people, then being globally well known in the Armenian Community is something so incredibly amazing and awesome. The ultimate was visiting my Motherland Armenia in 1999.

I have done so much for my Armenian community in the past and here are many to list…

– I have been in the committee for Jr. ACYOC
– I have been in the committee for Sr. ACYOC (Armenian Church youth Organization of Canada) for over 11 years.

– Assisted in St Sahag, St Mesrob Armenian Saturday School for 4 years. I have also attended from 1989-1999 which I graduated grade 8…
– Assisted in the Armenian Sunday School for 2 years.

– I have been in Nor Serount (New Youth) New Generation) Newsletter publication for 2 years

– Assisted with Communications/Social Media advertising for Holy Trinity Armenian Church Toronto for 2 and a half years

– Assisted with the Armenian Genocide commemoration in Ottawa for 3 years.

– for Bible Study sending out e-mails and being the communications director working with the priest and committee of Bible Study…

– Organized Armenian Camping trips of which one year I was the head of the team and brought over 70 people from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and other places to a Camping trip in Kingston, Ontario…

– Was part of Sassoun Dance Ensemble for a year.

– Went on a pilgrimage to Montreal in 2007 with the Armenian Church

– Participated in Many ACYOC Armenian Youth Sports weekends from 2003-2011

– Visited a Nursing home with Armenian Bible Study to spend time with the elderly.

– Assisted in Wrapping Presents for children with Armenian Bible Study at Childrens Aid Society

– Went to Vancouver BC for a sports weekend, then went to several meetings in Kingston, Montreal, and Ottawa…

More to come in the future. There is no stopping me now.

Kindness Always Matters In The World

Today, when I was out, I saw a quote that really hit me close to my heart and there are a few things I always believe in and to me they are the most important, but what strikes out is the one about kindness, and today’s quote I saw was “Kindness Matters”. It always does and its something I have always been taught since I was a child to always be kind to others, and always do great things and not expect anything in return. I truly believe that when you do kind things and be kind to others, it is something that God will see and you will be rewarded with great things in life and you will go places. I know sometimes that is hard to believe when you do good things for others, and sometimes they don’t appreciate it and you keep getting used and used like crazy, but always know that whatever you do, its something great that you have accomplished. In this world were only here for a limited time and the time spent on this earth is short lived, so live life wonderfully with being kind and fruitful. It is important to reach out without asking anything in return. All good deeds do not go unnoticed. You may feel it at times, but to be honest, it does not. God sees it, the Angels in heaven see it and you see it.

In the last couple of weeks, Bible Study started again at my Armenian Church and I am ever so grateful it started. It gives me an opportunity to go out and reflect amongst other people who attend the bible studies, and it gives me time to listen and interact with the priest and others about kindness, about the importance of being fruitful, and someone who reaches out to others. Bible studies teaches me a lot of things about life, the spiritual life, and about the modern society we all live in now, the priests tells us so many stories of his life, and what he’s encountered recently and he tells us things that empower me and probably to others as well. Kindness is something that I have always been fond of, and it is something that has embedded into my life and without the proper upbringing of my immediate family and relatives, and the community I live in, I wouldn’t be who I am today. I want to thank so many people in my life for giving me that poise and that life to get out there and do great things, attend bible studies, and attend important events and retreats that are educational to the mind, body, soul, spirit and the heart. It is important to cleanse our souls, to be kind, to be respectful to others.

No matter who anyone is, colour, race, ethnicity, orientation, big, small, tall, short, blonde hair, brown hair, black hair. I doesn’t matter. Were all one body and were all on this earth to serve a purpose in this life. We were all chosen and it doesn’t matter what you do, the ultimate thing that does matter in this world is kindness. Do it and you will be amazed on how it changes your life for the better. When you wake up every morning, Kindness should be on your agenda everyday. Use it and share it around. You will be surprised on how great your day will be. Have a wonderful day.

What A Great Bible Study Session Tonight – The Priest Chose Me To Write Next Week’s Prayer

Every Thursday nights at 9pm, I go to a bible study, and it started last week again. My priest is a follower of my blog and he announced to everyone that he really enjoys reading my blogs and he introduced me to others who do not really know of me and he used to do bible studies for quite a while. Just the last 2 years, another priest conducted the bible studies. He announced to everyone that I am a lovely writer and that he chose me to say next weeks closing prayer along with the Our Father in Armenian called Hayr Mer – HAI-R MER — It made my whole week when he said that. He has always grown fond of me and I will never forget a time 4 years ago when we were in Bible study, he said something to everyone about me, and again he put me out there and we had about 45 people attend the bible study that one time. It was such a great thing, and he said to others that I am a great writer again and I used to write so many articles to the Armenian newsletter and newspaper and among articles around the church and when we did retreats outside of town. He introduced me to everyone and some people had no idea who were writing those articles and then when people found out who I was, they all approached me after bible study and they said, we finally meet the mastermind behind all your writings you submit to the church and the community center. I will never forget what they said to me. It was so beautiful. It made me feel very nice.

Again like tonight, My priest found out from my blog from someone in the community and he began to follow it, and so now this is the second week he has mentioned me and put me on the spot with everyone and he outright said to others, she is one of the best writers. Again, I said Father Reverend, thank you so much. Hes a very kind and very nice person who raises everyone’s spirits and hes such a lovely priest and I appreciate him. He said, everyone who writes has different ways of writing and nobody is exactly the same. So I am looking forward for next week. I have to think of a prayer to write until next week, but I think I can write it within the next couple of days when I have my mind set on it. The priest always depends on me and he knows I follow through with it. Thank you very much. I look forward to next week. I am committed to bible study and I will not miss a day.

I wish you all the best.

Bible Studies Have Resumed At My Armenian Church – I Am So Happy About That

I was at An Armenian/English Bible Study this past Thursday evening and Hayr Sourp(The Priest) taught us about the Tree Of Life, and the Tree of Life is Jesus Christ and it is important to gather youth and young adults together to hear Gods word and be together to eat from the Tree Of Life.

Bible studies have resumed for young adults and youth sessions, Every Thursday at 9pm at St Mary’s Armenian Church at 45 Hallcrown Pl. Toronto, Ontario — www.stmarytoronto.com

Verses from The Bible.
John 8:24 I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.”

Revelation 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.

Everyone is welcome to The studies. It is educational, yet wonderful. Come make new friends, and be part of it all. It is interactive, and beautiful.

Tonight Was A Big Wake Up Call For Me — Thanking God For Making Me Realize Things

Tonight, I embarked on my last journey to Bible Study on Thursday Nights. It was an emotional night for me as I was enjoying the bible studies, enjoying hearing God’s words from our incredible and very nice priest Rev Father Keghart Kosbakian (KEH-GHART KOS-BAK-IAN). He taught us so many things from the book of Genesis to Exodus and so much more. We embarked on many trips to Kingston, Ontario for our Annual weekend trips. More over, I really enjoyed the fellowship, meeting new friends, and hanging out with them outside of bible study. I am excited to keep in touch with everyone outside of bible study. The sessions have wrapped up due to summertime where everyone takes vacations, and spends more time outdoors. Plus our wonderful priest is embarking on new adventures in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and will be doing a lot of work there. Hopefully Our bible study returns back in September.

This year and the past years I have been coming to Bible study, I learned so much about my spiritual self. I know yesterday in my previous blog below, I wrote somethings that I shouldn’t have brought up, and it is not fair that I said some things out of turn. Yesterday was one of the days where I just wanted to vent out and I apologize for having been way overboard with my self-promotion of my blogs and going crazy with advertising it so much and asking friends to do it. I mean out of their hearts and thoughtfulness, they would do it anyway, without me even asking them, but then again I am so sorry to those who I became bothersome of it. I asked God tonight to give me patience, and to give me guidance and help me. I believe that he will answer my prayers and that whatever I am working hard on will eventually pay off in the end. I just need to learn to be more patient, and pay more attention to others as much as I can. I know I came off angry in my post and I rarely do get angry about anything, and I am so sorry.

My blogs are supposed to be about positivity and giving people hope, giving people that boost of happiness among optimism and among other things. Again I am sorry I acted the way I acted yesterday. I made a mistake and I am not going to repeat my mistake as I have learned from it. When the last bible study was going on, I kept thinking to myself, and doing my own self-reflection and how much I learned in so little time and reading peoples comments was in my brain all night. You all have no idea how much you mean to me, you all have no idea how much I honor, respect, and love Family, Friends, my fans, my followers, my subscribers, my supporters of my blog among everything else. I know I do not comment a lot on others blogs and I should really start on doing so. It is not fair to you all, and again I am sorry.

All the best to everyone, I wish you all the best in your success, I wish for all your dreams to come true and always believe in yourself and be who you are. Peace, Love and Respect to all.

Once A Year Church Goers On Easter, An Issue That Has Hit Close To My Heart

I attended Church for the Easter Celebrations and to Thank Jesus for sacrificing his life for us, and I was reflecting, praying and giving thanks to God and Jesus for giving me an incredible and loving family, friends, and supporters as well as everything I have. I feel it is very important to me to attend church more often and to be in one roof with uniting with the community to be God’s house. I believe that a church is not a church until there are so many people in it. Or else It will just be a building. That’s what it is when people don’t fill it. What really hit close to my heart was that there were people I had seen at church today that only come once a year and don’t even bother to take 1-3 hours of their lives on Sundays or as much as they are able to attend during the year to get into God’s house and to pray and to reflect.

I know some people will debate with me to tell me that it doesn’t matter where you are, you can always pray to God. Yes I agree with people who think that way, and it doesn’t matter if you go to church or not as long as your a great christian and try to live life clean and happy, I agree as well, but let me tell you something, Going to Church is so much more different, and its good to take Sunday’s and spend it with family, getting dressed, going to church. Its a great feeling. Seeing the Altar, the priests and the altar people. Its incredible to be experiencing church too. I know sometimes life is busy and hectic with family to take care of and people who work and everything else, but try to make time for church, try to give your time to Jesus who gave up his life for us, and to appreciate him. A Church cannot function if people do not go into them.

On Record there must have been over 3000 people at church. This has hit me quite hard. I try my every effort to be in church as much as I am able to and I go a lot every year. I also make it a commitment to attend Bible studies and to keep my faith updated and on track. Hearing God’s words comforts me and making friends and getting into people is something I truly love. I love my Armenian Church community. I have made so many friends from it. Today 1 in 3 or 4 people came to me to shake my hand and kiss me on the cheek to say happy Easter to me and talked to me. A few have come up to me to compliment me and my blog and among everything else. I am super happy for going to church since I was a kid. I am so happy my parents took me as a young child and I am so close to my Armenian community and the church. I love it so much. I know sometimes the Armenian Church Mass takes longer than usual, but its the beauty and the sounds and songs and prayer that make everything else not matter. Its a beautiful thing.

Remember the Easter Bunny, the Chocolates or the Eggs and the colors did not die for us and our sins. Jesus did. God Bless everyone and May God Be with all of you.

Another Easter has come and gone… Lets Pray that people will attend church more often… Amen

Attending Bible Study At My Armenian Church Is So Important To Me

Since toward the end of 2006, I began on my own personal spiritual reflection and journey to attend bible studies at my Armenian Church. After a year and a half of attending bible studies, I was appointed the communications director for up to 2-3 years to send out e-mails, to create flyers and keep the Armenian Community in the know about upcoming bible studies, upcoming outreach programs, volunteering at children’s aid to wrap Christmas presents, and spending time in senior homes with the elderly with my Armenian Church community, and I also attend another Armenian Bible Study that we take weekend retreats once or twice a year out of town with the Armenian Religious Education Council (AREC). It was a truly rewarding experience and I still attend bible studies to this day. I love keeping my bond with the Lord Jesus Christ, and reflecting upon how incredible it feels to hear God’s words and to learn about life and the true meaning of what God and the Bible chapters really mean.

I feel so close with God and I feel refreshed each time I attend church and the studies. Now I am only attending bible studies once a week on Thursday evenings. I have made so many friends from it and we all share a special bond together and we have become like family and we continue our journey together outside of bible studies and we go out, and we enjoy each others company so much. We have grown together and we know each other so well that we know what each other will say, we know the moves and signals we give toward each other, we know each others characters very well, we know the importance of togetherness and enjoying each other that we don’t even feel the time going. Our conversations, our inside jokes, and our gatherings are so special to me. They happen to be some of the most awesome people I have ever met in my life. It is great to attend a church function or a community outreach, retreats, bible studies and knowing the outcome of it will be positive and one that is so fulfilling to its fullest extent. It has become a huge ray of sunlight in my life knowing that I have somewhere I look forward to going all the time. I try my best not to miss any bible study discussions or friend gatherings, but sometimes life and busyness gets in the middle, but I am determined all the time.

It is not about the material, physical being, but it is also about the spiritual and inner personal reflections that makes everything great. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it weren’t for the supportive friends and family who always give the energy to me and tell me to never stop going to bible studies which I enjoy thoroughly. Each person who teaches bible studies have their own personal ways of teaching the bible and I do not like to judge people by that. In the end I like to hear Gods words and get different opinions about it from different teachers/priests/fathers/pastors/ etc… I really like my priest very much. He explains the bible to the level where we could understand, he lets us ask questions, and he is so passionate about it and he answers beautifully to us. I can hardly wait until Thursday again to go back to the bible study and hear and learn some more. The Bible is a never ending learning spiritual journey and there is so much to absorb and so much to read and the bible is also beyond the book itself. The life bible and what we can do in our lives to live with the words from The Bible and learn. Life is a never ending process of learning, absorbing information. Just be thankful everyday and never lose hope on anything because you can turn the impossible to possible because I’M Possible (impossible) . Always remember to every physical, mental and emotional side, there is always a spiritual and reflective side to life. Balance out your life today. make positive changes for a better tomorrow.

Bible Study and Friends I have made from that.

In the beginning which was about 5-6 years ago, I started coming out to bible studies at my Armenian Church, which led me to learn more about God and Jesus and a lot more about the bible and theological learnings in the Armenian Perspective. Soon after My life made a complete 360 degree turn. My Life got better, things started to really look up for me, but soon after I had those terrible feelings of unwantedness, and lonliness return back to me due to some stresses, but now everything has found its place.

I now have the most wonderful true friends who have helped me a lot through my tough times, and I am a very happy individual, who has good friends that she can talk with and spend time with. They give me confidence, encouragement, and strength to do what I do, and to know I have people on my side. They know who they are.

I have been taking care of myself a lot more these past several months, by eating sensibly, losing lots of weight, and I am finally thinking about myself for a change, and not thinking about what rude, two-faced, fake, cruel, and persons with big egos tell me, because I have no place in my life for those who bring me down and give me the cold shoulder.

As Long as I have God, My family and friends in My life, evverything else will come to place. I love My life and everyone in My life.
