How to Approach Famous People When Seeing Them

In our lives,  some or if not all of us enjoy the entertainment industry, television, film, music, actors, actresses, directors, or watch our favourite news reporters and anchors. Suddenly, you are walking down the street, dining in a restaurant, gone out shopping, or wherever you least expect it, you see a famous person/celebrity. Mostly in Los Angeles, California, New York City, and areas and maybe even in the areas you live in. At this moment, you say, what do you do? What is your reaction? What can I do to not miss this opportunity to talk to that famous person and then to ask them for a photo/autograph?
These are ways to approach and not approach celebrities/famous people without them feeling threatened or awkward. There are always ways to get a successful yes or a welcome from them. Here they are.
DO – Excuse me, are you this person from TV/Film/The News or whatever else? I really enjoy your work and you have such a great talent. It is so great to finally meet you in person. would you mind if we take a picture together?
DO NOT – say, Oh My Goodness!!! Ah! I am such a Huge fan! You are the coolest! Do not get overly excited and actually scare them away. They can say no, and do not be disappointed if they do.
DO – Say Hello, then say how are you doing today? then say, I really admire what you do and say it must be such a difficult job to be into the entertainment industry, and say I truly appreciate what you do and thank you for giving us entertainment. Then if they respond with a thank you, then that means you have a successful approach and then they will accept you to take a picture or autograph with.
DO NOT – approach them and demand to take a picture with them and get all angry if they do not accept or whatever else. The famous person could be having a bad day if they refuse or just do not want to be bombarded with fans at that moment or day. Do not be disappointed if you get a no.
DO – Hello, Hope all is well. I know you are this person and I just couldn’t help but come up to you because you are truly an awesome person whom I look up to and did not want to miss this chance to approach you to tell you that. If you get a good vibe, then ask them for a picture/autograph
—————————————–
Treat them and act normally, because they are ordinary people like us, but they are just very well-known and they have a face that is familiar to a lot of people around the world. They appreciate it when people talk calmly to them and have actual conversations first and not request a photo or autograph right away.
Some of the famous people will even take the time to have a full-blown conversation with you when they feel that you are not just there to use them to take a picture with or whatever. If they feel comfortable with you, and all that, some could even ask if you like to go with them to a studio, or invite you to a lunch or dinner whatever. They can introduce you to other stars. Some fans can actually become friends with them. They can even get you into the entertainment industry too. It all depends on the mood.
Do not come on so strong and actually terrify them. I know the fans have every right to because we pay their way, and without us, they would be nothing and entertainment would go down, but everything is a two-way street. In order for them to respect you and appreciate you, you have to treat them with respect and appreciate them too. They are people like us. Always remember that.
Some celebrities refuse photos or whatever else because of reasons or how they feel. Do not feel put down because of it. It is not you, it’s just some circumstances that make them feel that way. They even go as far as disguising themselves and not allowing people to notice them. That could happen.
There are those people who do see celebrities and other famous people, but do not bother to go up to them and that is fine too, but its a missed chance to get to meet them up close and personal. For some its a normal day to always see them.
Bottom line is the approach and that is so important. Come on too strong is a recipe for refusal. Don’t cry or get disappointed, but if it’s a yes or if they welcome you, then its all good.
Just think about your actions and words. its super important. All the best with locating them!

The Many Attempts of Weight Loss

In life we sometimes get off track with gaining a lot of weight, and do not make the best decisions when it comes to food, and drink choices. We look for that fatty, sugary, and other substances that put so many calories and pounds on our body. It is so easy to gain all that, but its so difficult to lose that weight we put on our bodies.
It takes a toll on ourselves with sometimes having health issues, as well as not feeling comfortable, and not being able to wear the clothes we want to. I have failed many times on losing weight and keeping it off. I just began letting myself go each time that I am doing well.
I began to do it all again in the last couple of weeks. I stay away from soft drinks and other sugary drinks, and I strictly just drink water now. 8 Tall Glasses of it. Water is the magic drink that cleans out your system of impurities and so much more. Now that I began to look after myself and to take charge of my lifestyle, I know what I have to do to set my goals, and to stick with it.
I have read many articles on weight loss and everything has to do with moderation, and portion sizes. I am excited on this journey to having a new body and a new outlook on life. Once I lose all this weight I want to lose, I will feel better and feel more energetic. I am very excited to share my stories with you all weekly and update you on my progress.
I have a lot of surprises in store for my readers, and how I am able to lose the weight with discovering new techniques and ways to do it. It is not going to be easy, but I am going to do it.
I will begin with a 10-15 minute walk the first week on the treadmill everyday, and then I will increase it to 5 minutes per week as I get used to the pace and then I will go up to 45 minutes and even up to an hour max with speeds of 2.5. In the beginning, I will begin with speed 2 and then increase it to 3.5 to 4 speed to walk faster and faster.
I just do not want to over burn and over do myself with hurting my lower leg calve muscles to the point where I do not want to do it anymore. The problem with people who have a lot of pain is that, they tend to over do it and that is not good either. I know the professionals say that you have to be in pain to see results, but sometimes it doesn’t work that way. It depends on your physical self and what you can handle.. too much is not good.
They say no pain, no gain, but actually, you have to exercise slowly first and then pick up the pace later. Not right away during the first 2 months of exercise. So important to not over tire and over work it. Not a good idea.
Lots of water is key and eating more fruit, veggies and eating protein as well as keeping the Carbs to a minimum. Do not cut everything out. That is wrong. Do not starve yourself either.
Anyway, I will be back to discuss my progress next week, but I will be writing other things within the week. Stay tuned… Best wishes to those as you all go through weight loss mission too.

Feeling a Sense of Belonging

In life, people in this world have skills and talents. It is especially wonderful when people discover that. We all have greatness to spread to the world. My skill and talent is to write. Writing has been a passion of mine for so many years. over a decade and a half I should say and even more.
In the recent years, I have had the opportunity to visit Los Angeles 3-4 times, which is the entertainment hub/capital of the world, where opportunities in film, writing, and other aspects of it are there. Over 250,000 people are there working in the entertainment industry and that is such a large portion. You see studios, film academy and lots of celebrities and production crew and staff all over the place with film trucks for TV show, commercials and film.
I feel and know that I belong in Los Angeles, California. I felt this automatic connection as its my chance to shine the world, shine myself and shine the entertainment industry. When I held that real Oscar Academy Award in my hand and meeting a celebrity there, really made me feel so awesome. So, I really felt that sense of belonging when I was even landing there.
I know there are many opportunities to write here in Canada, in Toronto as well as sending my material with just a click of a button to Los Angeles, but what would be incredible is to change my scenery for a while and go up close and personal in Los Angeles and see where my luck and my writings will take me.
I can even write monologues for talk shows such as Conan O’Brien, Ellen DeGeneres, Late Late Show with James Corden, The Talk, and many more that are situated in Los Angeles.
Now, its not what you know, its who you know in those Studios such as Paramount, Warner Bros, Fox Studios, CBS Studios, NBC Universal, Hollywood Film Production,  ABC, Imagine Entertainment, Amblin, and etc… I believe with word of mouth, it can be a lot easier to get your foot in the door, but sometimes its the luck of the draw too.
I was visiting CBS Studios and Warner Bros, but I could not get into the gates without a ticket or passes, but I did admire them from the outside and that was amazing to see. Someday, I too will have that pass and go in freely. Lets hope and pray that I can be in that all.
I wish the same for you all who are trying to reach goals. All the very best!

How I got to Meet Actress Chloe Grace Moretz in Los Angeles

IMG_1508 13423980_10154123684751855_2830373817218907373_n
On the day of June 2nd, 2016, My cousin who lives in Los Angeles, invited my brother and I to dine at a sushi restaurant called Kiwami. As we were dining and talking with my cousin and enjoying our dinner and toward the end of our dinner, I noticed a group of people sit down 2 tables across from me. There were about 6-7 of them sitting down.
Then there was this beautiful person who has blonde hair. Then after a minute, I noticed that she was so familiar. I knew her face from somewhere, then I quickly remembered watching her movie about a month before visiting Los Angeles. Then I remembered that her name is Chloe Grace Moretz. Then, I became so excited, My heart began to beat so fast and I was just so star struck. My mission was to find a celebrity in Los Angeles during my stay there and it happened. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
I watched her Movies 5th wave and Neighbors 2, and there she was sitting right there. After my cousin and my brother and I paid the bill, we were walking out and I stopped and said “Excuse Me, Hello… Are you Chloe from 5th wave?” She said “Yes, thats me and nodding yes too”, and then I said Wow, I knew you looked familiar, and then I said you are awesome, may I take a picture with you? She said, yes sure no problem. I then took a picture with her and it made me the happiest person. Then we said by to my cousin and then we were on our way to our car and went to the hotel. I couldn’t contain my excitement.
As soon as I went to the hotel, I grabbed my laptop and loaded the picture of her and I on the computer and quickly uploaded it to social media. She was so nice to me and she was very sincere and such a great person. Chloe has such a great talent for acting and I wish her the best with everything in her life and her upcoming projects. She really made me feel welcome when I took that picture with her. Love her. I thanked her repeatedly after taking the photo with me and I told her how much I appreciate it.
Some people in LA who live there told me that, you can’t find celebs and we don’t see them around, but I was there for 10-11 days and I managed to hold an Oscar, the real award and I met a celebrity. You just have to look harder and get out there or else of course you won’t see any. I am still star struck.

How I Got to Hold The Real Mr. Oscar — The Academy Award Oscars Story

As I was strolling through Rodeo Dr on June 3rd, 2016. in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, I stopped by this Jewelery Store called Peter Marco. I was walking around the observing and looking around at super expensive Jewels from Necklaces, Rings, Bracelets, Earrings and so much more that Just a bracelet costs a person’s Yearly Salary. I looked around some more and I found that there was this gold statue that caught my eye, then I quickly realized it was Mr. Oscar. I asked the Jewelery Store worker who happened to be Armenian just like me, and I said. “Is that the Real Oscar?” He said, “Yes It is the real deal”. I said Oh my goodness, that is just beautiful and so awesome.

He said we won it for our store and because we supply our jewels to the actresses during the oscars and other Hollywood events around the city of Los Angeles and some movies too. Then I asked if I can hold Mr. Oscar, and he allowed me to. He said I don’t normally allow people to hold it, but for you I will make an exception. I was ever so grateful and thanked him so much for that opportunity that many people do not get to.

The Oscar was pretty heavy when I held it, so when at the Academy Awards when the winners of the award accept it and say its pretty heavy, I will know what they talk about. I was at a loss of words when I held it. I didn’t realize I was holding a piece of Entertainment History and a very important part of it. Then I took pictures with it in my hands, and It was a moment I will never forget. Probably one of the best moments ever in my life. I couldn’t believe what I had in my hand and to this day I couldn’t believe it.

I love Los Angeles so much. Its where I feel I belong.
