Having Second Thoughts – That Gut Feeling

In life sometimes when we think something is going in our favour, we are usually happy, looking forward and thinking about how great everything is going. We visualize our life as something that is going so incredibly well until we step back and think critically about things. You get that pit in your stomach and that gut feeling that something is not up to par. You have these second thoughts about something big that is coming up in your life.

Sometimes those second thoughts come with having cold feet. Sometimes you wonder if you are making the right decision to things. So you communicate your feelings to a family member or very close friend and ask for advice for a situation that you can be in. It takes a lot of courage to step up to communicate your true feelings and for some people they communicate openly without hesitation which that it should be.

When you have that gut feeling about something not going well, your gut feelings are never wrong. It is a way to protect us from certain people and things. If you feel something is wrong, its good to realize it now before it is too late. Before consequences arise, and bite you, you have to think of your own best interest and protect yourself from something that you possibly cannot undo.

When you think so eloquently about someone or something and then in the long run they disappoint you, it’s not a great feeling at all. When you put your trust into someone or something, you expect everything to be going well, you feel the need to express how happy you are and how excited you are, but deep down inside you feel like something is missing, something is not right.

When you put your heart, soul, mind, dedication, devotion and say nice things about somebody to others and yet the person you say nice things about does nothing and says nothing in return, is a great course for concern. When you profess your feelings, sweet words and so much into a person and invest in them all the kind things to say and that person does not say anything nice in return to your face or around others, criticizes you, doesn’t give you credit, always finds something bad about you, is definitely something that makes you think twice and even three times to really think about stepping back a bit and cooling it with giving someone compliments and saying kind things about them.

People’s actions make you more aware. When you are in a relationship and the person you are with never compliments you, never tells you that you look beautiful, and someone who doesn’t say great job when you have done something well, someone who doesn’t communicate with you on a daily basis, doesn’t defend you to others and someone who doesn’t say a nice speech or utter a few words to family and friends while you are together and especially to you is not a relationship and it is doomed to fail.

Ones manners and communication is absolutely important. All this plays a part in having second thoughts, and having that gut feeling. Manners and the way someone portrays themselves amongst others is a big deal in life. Etiquette as well has a huge role in life.

Also if you are sentimental and cherish everything in your life and what makes you happy. Nobody should stand in the way and expect you to throw away things that are so important to you. (not to a hoarding level), but things that hold special memories for you should be something that should never be an issue to be brought up of.

Gut feelings and second thoughts are so important. We have to do that sometimes. It definitely clears our minds and hearts to start fresh, rejuvenate, refresh, redo everything but redo it right. Sometimes things come in front of us to warn us, to give us a sign that something is wrong and that we need to fix it. Communication is so important.

Our emotions, feelings and expressions in Life is not a game, should be taken seriously and whatever we do in our life and the legacy we leave behind when our time comes to depart away from our loved ones and the world, tells all. Sometimes we have to take a step back and re-evaluate thing in our lives, put things into perspective, we have to think about so many things as we get older.

Everything matters. Kindness, compliments, kind gestures, manners, etiquette, initiative, enthusiasm, positivity, optimism, anticipation of greatness, wishing goodness to others, happy thoughts, happiness, life’s goodness, expression, emotions, feelings, mentality, sentiments, sentimental, morale, moral, and everything else. It all matters. communication matters. Everything matters in life.

Do you have second thoughts about people and things?

Have you been in a predicament that makes you re-evaluate everything in life?

Has a situation in your life made you feel that you have to analyze everything?

All the best to you all and wishing you all happiness, good health and positivity in your life.

Looking At Pictures from The Past & Into the Present

Ever sit down one day or evening and think about opening up your photo albums shelf, drawer or wherever you store your photos, and just think about all the memories shared, the family and friends in pictures? Some of those people can still be with us, and unfortunately, some people may not be due to the passing of loved ones or those who are not part of our lives anymore. Whatever the situation can be.

In my photo albums, There have been family members and friends we have lost due to passing away and all we have are memories of pictures of them to look at which makes looking at pictures from the past bittersweet for a lot of us. It can be such an emotional moment. Those pictures become sentimental because it makes you think that, these people in my family or family friends used to be with us.

We also look at pictures from happy moments such as birthdays, weddings, engagement, travels, graduation, births, children, and so many other events in our life to capture and document them.

Nowadays, a lot of people seem to upload their memories on social media, as well as on their computers. There are people who still go out to develop photos to keep outside of technology and to me looking at photos that way seem all the more personal and a great feeling without the usage of a screen. I think the traditional method is the greatest. You know what they say, a Pictures says a thousand words and it definitely does. Sometimes you become speechless and just admire the moment that you do see the picture. In present time pictures get sent instantly within seconds.

I became a sentimental person a long time ago since I was about 5-6. My parents always taught me the importance of keeping things that are greeting cards, to gifts, and so many other things. Not to the point where it clutters my space, but super important things, and even things I have kept from my travels from airline boarding passes, airline tickets, baggage tags, and even shampoo bottles and logos of resorts or hotels in the room or around my travels.

Do you still go to get your photos developed?

Understanding Social Media – Twitter

Since April, 2007, Twitter launched its social media website to the world. Twitter’s headquarters is located in San Francisco, California, where then eventually many offices were open in the United States, as well as the world. Millions of people have now created accounts since its launch. Twitter is a social media website where people share instantly without barriers of create ideas, advertising ones own business, as well as promoting events, causes, raising awareness on issues of the world, trending the news, popular words, phrases, currents events and more with 140 Characters or less.

In August of 2007, Chris Messina had incorporated the Hashtag “#” sign which is the number sign, which makes it easier and what will attract the world with certain keywords used to promote, advertise and make something popular with the hopes that it will begin to trend. For example, when you create hashtags such as #People #SocialMedia #Life #Love #Travel – and then if another person decides to write the same Hashtags, it will come up on the same page, and it will be like a chat room where people can communicate with each other, as well as if something is found to be interesting, they will add someones tweet to their favourites and re-tweet it on their page.

You will then receive notifications, that what you post on where it is and who has posted it on their pages. When people find something or someone interesting, they may or may not start following them and adding them on their list.
I know you are probably thinking, what can I write and share in 140 Characters or less? Well, there is a lot you can do in that limit. There is always something somebody is searching for and Twitter has made it easier to share it with the world. You can post photos, links, personal websites, and so much more which of course with obeying Twitters terms of service. Twitter also has a short link generator, which you can find the twitter short link generator and save space in the status message you are about to share. You can find it on a search engine site of your choice.

There are quite a few people that have told me, what is twitter? How can I understand it? why did it become so popular? Well, it is a social media website that has blossomed like wild flowers in the world. Like I said in my previous articles, people will search for anything, and when it comes on the news about a new website, and they begin to advertise so much on Media outlets, it will be a huge hit and sensation in the world. Twitter still is after 8 years.

I am so happy with Twitter. I feel that it has gotten so much easier to raise awareness about certain topics and issues of the world, and to address important subjects to our society. Thank you Twitter for giving us all an opportunity to get out there, to achieve, and to do what our hearts desire to the world. If you do not have an account with twitter, make one, it will make it so much easier to share blogs, ideas and so much more that you want to contribute to the world.

I wish Twitter and its staff all the best and many more years of trending, re-tweeting, tweeting, sharing and more. Thanks twitter.

The Social Media Information Overload

In the life and times of the society we are in, We keep hearing about Social Media and the many websites and how technology has changed so much with communication and how the internet is the biggest information/communication hub of the world now and I know in the last few posts, I have written about it, however this is such a thing as Social Media Information Overload, however that should never deter you from putting yourself, your ideas, suggestions, experiences, stories and more out there. There are many people in this world who want to look for different types of information in different context and there is always some type of information out there for everyone.

I know Social media is a huge topic and starting out and beginning your journey is something that can be frustrating and so intimidating, that you just want to give up quickly and not give it a chance. When I began blogging, writing and putting myself out there in the public eye, I never thought that I would get this far. I read many blogs, and tutorials on social media and how to get myself out there and I began following those instructions, then gradually I began getting so much feedback and so much more out of it. At first, I thought this is such a waste of time, and I won’t get anywhere, but then I gave it a chance, and everything fell into place. You just need to give it the green light.

I know some people are probably thinking, how of hundreds and thousands of blogs, twitter posts and all the writings, articles of the world, how someone can get to my site, and see my posts and things that I put out there to see? Well, it is very easy with over 3 Billion people who use the internet, it is very easy for so many people out of those billions of people who want to search for something that interests them and they will go through many sites to find it and they will get onto your site. It is pretty neat to be shown on Search Engine sites, and with searching for a topic or something is easy. People will sift through many search engine pages and when they see a blog or something that interests them, they will click on your site and see the content they want, then they might share it amongst their family and friends, and then will share it on their social media sites.

Some tips to take note of and a word of advice when beginning your social media journey:

– Be Patient
– Engage, Discover, Deliver
– Read Social Media Tutorials
– Get on Social Media Marketing websites and receive e-mails on articles
– Keep writing, Posting material
– Give yourself and your social media journey a chance
– Get on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook
– When you are on twitter hashtags like this #hashtags #blogs #socialmedia is important to spread out with whatever topics you want to share in 140 Characters or less.
– Never take take take – Give as well.

When you are in social media, do not make it a competition of “Oh I am better than everyone else” approach “My material is the best” attitude. People automatically feel the way things are written online, and if people feel that someone is complimenting themselves so much and becoming a center of attention, it becomes less interesting to engage into that persons website. Never make someone feel that their material and what they write is something that is not good or don’t make people feel that what they have to say isn’t important. We are all important, and what we all have to say is something that is good to read. Never slander and insult somebody because of it. We all have something incredible and wonderful to contribute to in the world.

All in all, Social Media is a great thing to be in. It is a communication of information that can be beneficial for everyone. So take the chance and see where it takes you. Have fun and best wishes!

My Vision of Empowerment of Social Media

Since social media has been a big trend on the internet and the world, We all have different outlooks and perspectives toward the vision of empowerment and communications that social media has that a lot of people are in, however my vision for social media and what I want to get out of it is to inspire, share my views/opinions and to educate others in the life experiences I have had and will continue to have. My vision is to raise awareness on certain issues that have me deeply interested in and to make a difference one person and many people at a time.

Some people create blogs, and become active on social media to see where things will take each and everyone of us and the purpose we have to get to that point. Still, I think the traditional word of mouth is something much more powerful, however with this new age in technology, with communication that has gotten a lot easier than years ago, information gets sent instantly on the other side of the world with just a click of a button. It is incredible where inventions, technology has led us to a new realm of today, tomorrow and the future.

Social media has different levels of how we look at it, some always want it to be fun with posting funny jokes, memes, and doing funny things all the time, some post inspirational quotes, some post photos of themselves and/or with friends/family, postings about so many things.

Advertising has become a lot easier with posting events, flyers, sharing it on twitter, on Facebook news feeds, walls, inviting people to pages, fan pages, groups, also making it easy to RSVP to events, people post up greeting cards, Photoshopping, and all kinds of interesting and neat things. Social media is a huge thing in the world right now and it is getting more popular as time goes by.

A few people have messaged me in the last few years and have asked me “What are you getting out of social media”? My answer is simple, to empower, to communicate, to keep in touch, to meet new people, inspire, and with the hopes of changing the world and the perspective on life with my words and to spread love, happiness, joy and smiles across the globe. Once someone posts something, it is out there for the world to see.

We all understand social media in different context and ways and what we define our vision of it is. Some use social media to communicate with family and friends, some use it for business/commercial use and as well as many other things. No matter how we look at social media, we must always be very careful of the information we transmit and not post anything and everything that goes on in our lives for the world to see.

The biggest vision of mine is to communicate to the world through my eyes, my words, and my thoughts to the world as much as possible.

Why Do We Write? What is the Sole Purpose?

In life as human beings in the world, we are all good at something or multiple things and we are blessed with being gifted and talented in whatever that is instilled in you. We all have a purpose in life and it is never late to find out what it is. One of them being is that a lot of people choose to write. Now in social media, and blog sites where it is easy to transmit information and being able to write more easier and quicker so that many people can see instantly rather than waiting for a book to be published. The world can see what you have posted. I began writing in 2002 and even maybe even before 2002. I cannot really remember, but I have been writing for a long time. I began by writing for my church and the events it had, I became a communications director and secretary for committees where I wrote meeting minutes and e-mailed them out to fellow committee members, then eventually when it came time for social media to come around, I began writing for the community of the world.

My Sole purpose of writing is to get my points across. I want to inspire, uplift and make a persons day. I mostly 99.9% of the time like to write about positivity, happy thoughts, optimism and instilling people in giving them confidence, and so much more. I want to make a person smile, to feel good about themselves, to know that there are people who care about every individual around the world, because I care about the human race, and everybody who is on-board in this planet we live in. We are only on this earth for a limited time. We must learn to help each other, give each other a hand, inspire one another, to care, love and appreciate one another without violence, and all the other negative things in the world that are going on right now.

There are so many reasons why people write and the sole purpose of writing is to share experiences in all walks of life, to share ideas from writing news stories, articles, writing poetry, lyrics, short stories, fiction, true stories, sentimental stories, scripture, about movies, music, novels, traveling, children’s books, food recipes, organizational ideas, giving advice, tips, and suggestions about things and places in the world. There are many perspectives that lead to writing. Writing skills are important when you get your points across, but it does not have to be perfect. I know writing is a task that we bloggers know and sometimes we get writers block where it is absolutely difficult to think of fresh new ideas and a topic to write about which is totally in the norm. Even I get days where my mind cannot come up with new ideas, so I resort to reading online, brainstorming subjects to write about and make it into my own words.

Lets put it this way, writing can be anything you want it to be, but to make it in ways where it does not offend anybody, or directly or indirectly to point fingers to someone to prove a point. It is always best to take up personal issues and problems you have with an individual right to their face to confront and come clean about a situation, rather than posting it on social media where thousands and millions of people can see and involving everybody else. It is you, your business and the other persons. It sends out the wrong message. It is best to leave very personal issues off the internet. Not everything should be published and posted. Not when it comes to issues with others. It can really ruin friendships and relationships. Trust me, I have learned that lesson and in a hard way, which is why I do not do it anymore. I am speaking from personal experience. It is not fair for the other person and not fair for yourself as well. It can cause a lot of trouble.

Now to ask you, what is the sole purpose of writing? Why did you start to write and contribute to the world? I know some people will not have all the answers and it is hard to answer this question, but would love to hear and read about how you discovered about writing and what is does to you. Best wishes to you in your writing journey. If you can write or contribute to the world with your words, you can make a difference in the world. It all starts with the outlook that you do have. All the best. 🙂

So Much to Do and Doing Already. 2015 started off great

It has been an incredible and beautiful start to 2015. There is so much I have in store for this year and it has already been great progress and productive results. In the past few days I have been focusing and concentrating all my energy into my loved ones like always which is a given and also becoming more successful to fulfill my dreams to make them come true. I haven’t written much in the last few days and I apologize for that. I have just been so occupied with many things, but today I found some time to do some writing, to keep everyone updated on what is happening in my world. I know I had said that I will be doing more writing, but due to some circumstances, I have not been able to, but every chance that I do get, I will be here delivering what I promise my readers.

Since the beginning of 2015, have been going through my belongings and I have opened up boxes full of things that I have kept since I was a child. The things that came to my hands brought back many memories. I kept all my travel mementos, my school homework/projects, Papers of meeting minutes of when I was part of committees, greeting cards given to me, stuffed animals that are sentimental for me and so much more. It is a great feeling to get organized and to know what I have. I love keeping things like that.

Some people if not all talk about resolutions and what we are going to do when a new year comes around, and some keep their resolutions and some give up after a couple of days into it, however for me it is the 7th day and I am still going strong. I have been looking for a new job too, with all the changes that I am making to better myself, and to make the future bright with many possibilities that can arise from having an income coming into my pockets, and all the things I want to do with it, save some for a rainy day, invest it into important things, as well as save some to places I want to travel to and making it a goal to attain them. I know money doesn’t justify anything and it should not matter, but unfortunately it is part of life.

I feel so energetic and positive about everything. I have put my head up, facing challenges head on, working on my skills, and keep going forward to making dreams into a reality. Everything we want requires hard work, determination, dedication and enthusiasm. Without that, there is no foundation as how we want to set our lives to. We are all talented and have something great to offer to our world we are in. Let us encourage and motivate each other. That is the way the world can go around. It is a beautiful thing to help each other, give each other guidance and the will to carry on ourselves.

Have you began with creating a whole new perspective on your life? Have you began to attain and achieve your resolutions and goals for 2015 and beyond? Best wishes to everyone and may all your goals, dreams and wishes come true.

My Sentimental Value Toward Highway 401 East, Ontario, Canada

Hello everyone, I know this topic has come up on many of my blogs stating about the Highway 401 East in Ontario, Canada and How big of an impact it’s had on me and my life. It is a sentimental value to me. The Highway 401 has brought a lot of memories for me from when I was a child up til this point. I am very happy to have this connection with a highway I love driving on, and going to my Happy Place Montreal. I love Highway 401 East because It its a corridor to Montreal and to Autoroute 20 in Quebec. I am such a sentimental person that even a highway is special to me. I know it sounds odd and a little strange, but I know that in all of us we have a sentimental thing that may not be a big deal to another person, but it can be a big deal to one person. Its like one persons junk is another person’s treasure to sort of speak. It is something that I have a strong bond with. I know you maybe thinking a strong bond with a highway? Sounds silly doesn’t it? Well, it is not silly to some people. I have encountered many others who feel the same way I feel about it. I am a super driving nut. I love to drive and especially passing by the big trucks and big rigs on the 401. I love it so much. I am a huge fan of those big transport trucks and I know a lot about them and when I have conversations with people on the type of truck it is, or the make, people say wow, you are so knowledgeable about it. I like to learn a lot of new things and live to tell about it. So moving on, when I go to OnRoute Service centers when I take a break on the 401, You never realize how fast you go until you stop at a service center and see these cars, vans, transport trucks zoom right by and its amazing to know that, that is how fast were going.

Anyway, I am very happy to share this sentimental value with everyone. I believe in blogging, you can write about anything and open your heart out on everything. I believe I feel better when I blog and share my stories with the world and with different people. It is what makes the world go around hearing stories, different opinions, suggestions, and stories such as this one. I have written about this a few times, but I just can’t get over how much of a value it has in my life. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to share this with everyone. Its amazing what this blogging world has become, so many people write, so many people are in the same criteria, genre as I and I like that so much. reading peoples opinions, reading peoples stories. Its very nice to read.

Thank you all for sharing your stories, thank you all for having the guts to write about things. It takes a lot out of someone to put it all out for the world to see. Everyone should pat themselves on the shoulder. Blogging and sharing is a beautiful thing. So glad so many are doing it.

I am A Very Sentimental Person & I like to Keep My Memories

Since I was a little girl, looking at my mother and the way that she kept things from when I was a baby, I automatically started to keep things on my own and I learned to become very sentimental on certain things in my life and places and the vessel’s I have traveled with in my life. When I was growing up, one of my favourite things to keep was my boarding passes and tickets from Airlines, and Cruise Ships I have sailed on, so on and so forth. I have this habit of keeping everything. I keep Napkins with the Restaurant, Airline and Cruise ship logos on it, I keep brochures, pamphlets, Candy and Chocolate Wrappers, Receipts, Post Cards, Pens, Notepads, Concert tickets, Sports Games tickets, Wedding party favours, Invitation Cards, so on and so forth.

I love being so organized and everything is documented and kept, and sometimes I take out those boxes full of these things and I just look at them and remember my times when I traveled and stuff. When I receive gifts, Christmas Cards, Birthday Cards, Notes, Letters and stuff. I have saved them all from my childhood. As I said, I am very sentimental and I value my belongings very much and I take care and respect them. Okay I am not to the point where I am a hoarder and like to keep every single little thing in my life. I am not to the level where you cannot even walk in your house with mountains of things. No way, that is so not me. I keep things, but I don’t go to that extent.

Now some of my family members outside of my home and couple of friends here and there tell me and ask my why keep all that? Why take up space? I always say to them because I like looking at them from time to time and I value and cherish where these things came from. I love to travel so much and I love to keep things from my travels. Its pretty neat to get things from other countries. I know a lot of people aren’t very sentimental and they don’t keep anything from traveling, so on and so forth, but some conversation or something can come up and you want to remember the hotel room number you were in, or your seat number in an airplane you traveled on, or when you get asked a question from your travels, you automatically know what to say or where to find those things if your loved ones ask you.

I love memories and looking at those memories. Nothing is more incredible and nicer than memories, the good ones of course.
