Chores are Development of Responsibility & Life Skills

As we are born and become children, majority of our parents/grandparents/guardians have taught us about responsibility, doing chores around the house and to gain experience and knowledge on to keep clean, tidy, and organized. Also teaches kids to obey, and prioritize life to do what is important first, and then make time for fun and play after.

When children wake up in the morning, they teach them on the importance of getting up to make the bed, brush the teeth, groom themselves, wash up and shower for good hygiene, and then they teach them how to eat, and then venture off to school with the grandparents/parents/guardian or with a school bus.

During school, the teachers and other staff of the school teach kids on importance of learning about the world, how to read, write, to learn about many subjects such as sciences, music, gym, dance, language classes, mathematics, chemistry, and the most important thing to teach children to be kind to other classmates, develop group skills during group work, also leadership.

When school is over and the children are on their way home, that skill to teach them about sharing, kindness, respecting others should also be implemented at home, so as they can continue that outside of school. The children come home, and the importance to wash hands, and change out of their clothes, and to start homework if they have homework that day and teach them to do homework first before they play with toys, tablets, colour and all that.

When it is time to make dinner and set the table, it is always a good idea to get your child involved in cooking, helping set the table with plates, cutlery, and then children should start to develop skills on washing dishes, and after dinner to help clean the table with a cloth, taking the dishes to the sink, and make the parents/guardian/grandparents life easier and for the children to help them out. This also teaches them for the future when they have greater responsibility when they get older.

Nowadays, it is so difficult to teach children these life skills because of the screens, video gaming consoles and technology that has taken over. Nowadays children always want to feel that sense of entitlement to do whatever they want, whenever they want without having to listen to their parents/guardians/grandparents. They feel the need to always want to be on their screens and not develop skills that will benefit them in the future. some Kids these days are immune to technology and less hands on skills, not having manners, not respecting and being kind to others, talking back to adults and also rude gestures and mannerisms. Some children are so spoiled and tend to have an answer for everything. We should never allow it for it to get that far.

Children see everything, they are observant, they listen to everything that goes on in the house. start them early, influence them in such a way where it becomes easier to ask them to do chores. Tell them to do things in such a way where they won’t feel threatened. Give them conditions that if they do not help clean, or do simple things like washing hands or whatever, tell them that they will not have a birthday party, tell them that they will not be allowed TV Time or play time if they do not eat, or listen to do things around the house. Also, nowadays children do not have an idea of responsibility and helping out family. They need to learn that.

Nowadays, children are untouchable, and if heaven forbid, you really yell at them and give them discipline, they will use it against you and they may involve teachers and other authorities. These days, showing children how to do chores, and get them off of their bums to help around the house, and develop these important skills is a chore and a very difficult task in itself. These screens, smartphones and devices are like a magnet to them.

As adults teach their children that it is bedtime, that means washing up again, brushing teeth, undoing the bed, getting clothes and everything ready for the next school day or whatever else, making their lunches, and everything.

Then the days that children are at home, it is important to teach them how to vacuum, wipe and mop the floors, dust the furniture, clean doorknobs, clean the kitchen counters and the table, take out the garbage, help wash the car and everything. Of course it is important to give them time to play, and do fun stuff as well. I am not saying that they should always be doing chores and everything, but they need to learn balance, time management and everything. There is a limit and time for it all.

It is the time now, and to be strict with children. strict in such a way that will not intimidate them, but to put them on track. Set rules, guidelines, time limits to screen time, and monitor what they look at and supervise them to make sure they are making good decisions while on the computer and so much more. That is the important thing.

When you see they are trying and everything and doing great work at school, and at home, give them gifts, or surprise them to a movie, take them out to an amusement park, take them to play in the park, when they obey and do good, give them an allowance of whatever amount you wish, teach them the value of a dollar when they do get allowances and teach them about spending accordingly.

One day when I have children of my own, all these things will be taught to them and I will not allow them to do whatever they want all the time. Not going to happen. they need to be taught lessons of life and develop skills.

If you have children and/or take care of them such as being a guardian, babysitter, or grandparents. What skills and what things do you teach them?

Picky Food Eaters – This is an Eye-Opener

There is something that I need to address. Everyday it is a struggle to figure out what to cook, and there are those who ask, “What are you cooking today?” “We are eating that again?” “Why don’t you make this instead?” “I don’t like this, I don’t like that”, well some people do not know how hard it is, especially when it comes to picky eaters, those who waste so much food and those who don’t like to eat many things.

People have no right to complain, and also there are so many people in this world who go to bed hungry, who do not have sufficient amount of food to feed their families, malnutrition, and can barely get enough bread and butter on the table. Some people in impoverished countries and in our own backyards struggle with that and some people live off only a small quantity of food per month and even worse starve to death in this world.

I know due to certain health restrictions and non-permissible foods in someones diet or allergies or illnesses, irritants to someone which is understandable, but other than that people should not make a fuss over what to consume.

Because some people have resources and ample amount of choices of food and an array of ingredients to cook with and our fridge, freezers and tummies are always full and that is how picky eating comes to play. In life growing up if we did not eat the food our parents, grandparents made for us, and if we were fussy and picky, we would be sent to our rooms or somewhere without eating. People should not complain at all for food.

Just take a closer look to people who do not have that necessity or barely. What are they supposed to say? People should be fortunate and thankful that they do have that necessity, however some people take it for granted and are not thankful. This is really an eye-opener and our attitudes, pick and choosiness and other Things need to change in the world for the better.

Now to my readers,

Do you have picky eaters at home? would love to read what you have to think about all this.

It all starts with how we implement change in our society.

Not a Big Fan of Microwaves and the Recipes with it.

In my life, one of the many joys I have is cooking with pots, pans, wok’s, Pyrex and all those cookware products, and making things from scratch on a stove top or putting it right into the oven or toaster oven. I prepare food in healthy and great ways to ensure that my loved ones get the proper nutrition and everything. One thing that I am not a big fan of is Microwave recipes and things to heat up in there. I seldom heat up a hot beverage or something along the lines of that during the winter months, but other than that, I resort to other cooking methods as stated above.

I used to buy microwave popcorn a lot many years ago, but then I heard the harmful chemicals and ingredients used in the bag and the popcorn itself got my stomach churning and thinking, Oh my goodness I used to eat that and all those chemicals went into my body? After that, I refrained from purchasing them, and I invested into a popcorn making machine and now I make popping corn from scratch.

I know some people have no choice in using it because they either have to heat up food that you take to at your work’s cafeteria/lunch room, or when there is a child or children in you’re household to heat up their food instantly and feeding them, or when you have guests over or whatever the case maybe. It is okay, no problem.

The ample amounts of stories and articles I have read about microwaves make me think twice even three times when it comes time to use it. I have heard the radiation that gets onto the food or the unhealthy rays that come from it and then to consume it. I can really do without that appliance. Nothing beats a real home-cooked meal without having to use recipes of microwave use.

Do you use microwaves?
Or would you rather use natural pot/pan cooking and heating methods?
What do you feel about them?

The Disrespectful Generation

What a rude and disrespectful new generation of teens we have today. I was standing in line at Tim Hortons coffee shop to order, and out goes these 3 teenagers who came in together from a nearby high school with their backpacks and without even saying excuse me to me, they charged their way through to get in front of me, shoving me and my handbag to the side where there were other people behind me too. I said, excuse me you all budded in front of others and myself and nearly tipped me over. The back of the line starts there. I said wait like the rest of us are.
They said to me, isn’t this a line too? I said No, go behind the line. If you want to get by next time say excuse me or something or better yet, don’t bud in line when others are waiting to order too. I don’t think it is fair at all. Who do you think you guys are? I said to them learn to show respect to others, some manners and proper etiquette and common sense, then I ordered my drink and out I went and then I went by them again before I left to my car, I saw them look down on their smartphones and not even looking at each other and I said put your smartphones down and get some real intelligence and smarts and learn how to behave, then I walked right out. I am not afraid to confront these type of people.
They need to be taught these qualities and nowadays there is not enough interaction, and some of these people lack in social skills and manners of which they were not taught, or they are taught and think that they are invincible and think they can do whatever they please because they are young and under 18. Shouldn’t work that way at all. Manners, respect, Attitude,  etiquette, common sense should be enforced and taught to people at all ages. If these people are not taught these qualities when they are little toddlers to little kids by 5-6 years old, then they will grow up thinking it is okay to treat people this way and bud in the line and think its socially acceptable, but it is not. I am disgusted by some of these teenagers these days and whoever else, doesn’t matter the age.
I was taught at a very young age before I was 4 years old to learn to respect others, manners, and proper etiquette. It all starts when you are very young. That will stick with you for the rest of your life. I know we are all born with different personalities, but our personality grows with how our parents, guardians, care-givers teach us about quality of life instead of quantity.
Respect to be Respected,
Be nice so people be nice to you,
Be kind so people be kind to you,
it is as simple as that.

Favorite Halloween Candy – What I loved Getting

As Halloween is approaching in a few days, thought this would be timely to bring up. When I was a kid going door to door on Halloween night to go trick or treating, I was ever so excited to put my costume on and of course get candy, chocolate and chips in my bag. I had sometimes received other things in my bag as well, however there are some of the candy, chocolate, and chips that I used to love getting. I used to come home and sort out all my candy with my parents. Some of them really stood out for me and I never really bothered with the other candy I did not like, so I gave it to my family to eat. 🙂

My Favourites include:

— Little smarties boxes
— Candy Corn
— Popeyes little white cigarettes
— Twizzlers
— Nerds Candy
— Whoppers
— Milk Duds
— Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
— Gummy Teeth
— Rockets – They look like little tablets
— Little Chips bags
— Canada Loonie Dollar Chocolate Coins.

I remember I used to fill up 2-3 bags and sometimes I would take pillow cases with me, and it used to fill up to almost the top. I went everywhere so quickly. I used to map it all out with the most houses and areas around, so I would go and get the candy quick and I would start just before it started getting dark out, and then I would start my journey. It would last for quite a few hours and until I came home, with the help of my parents to carry the bags. I remember it would take a while to sort through the candies and then I would share and give them to my cousins, to my neighbors, and of course keep a lot of it for me too. 🙂

What did you like getting in your bag? What was your favourite chocolate, candy, chips or whatever else you got in your Halloween treat bag?

Health Is Wealth – The Most Important Thing Above All Else

Today, I really need to discuss an important thing in our lives and something that is in all of us whether its physical, medical, relationships, mental, emotional and everything that plays a role in our daily and nightly lives, and it is about health. Health is the most important thing in our lives. Lets face it, without it, we won’t be happy, and we won’t be wealthy in terms of it. It is more important than anything else. Material things come and go, but our health is number one out of everything else.

I know that this is a touchy subject to some people and if not all people, and I know that some people do not get lucky to live a fulfilling life because of some health issues that make people limited to do things and its so unfortunate on how people have to go through these terrible ordeals of dealing with debilitating diseases, cancers, illnesses, chronic problems, and things that happen in the human body. I know some things are not even in our control, things happen which is something unbelievable when we hear it from our doctors. Some make it and some do not unfortunately, but in the end our health is so important and what we do with our bodies is imperative to do our best to take care of ourselves, to eat better, to exercise, and to try as much as possible to prevent things from happening to our bodies. I know no matter how hard we try, sometimes things happen unfortunately, but prevention is key and we are all able to do anything we want. Sometimes for some cases its not possible, but nothing in the world is impossible, because remember I’M Possible. right?

When women get pregnant, and start a family some parents to be really concentrate on the gender of the baby and are so concerned about whether they will have a girl or a boy and the anticipation of it all is something that a lot of parents to be want to know, but in the end I do not think it should matter, as long as the baby and mother to be is healthy, and as long as the baby is well really should be something that is most important. I know the whole excitement of creating a nursery in the home, buying baby products, clothes and what colours to buy when you know you are having a baby, but those things should be the least of ones worry. A baby who is healthy and doing well, should be the best gift of all. All life is so precious no matter how they come into this world and that’s what should matter.

Health is so important at any age and unfortunately no matter what age you are, things happen to us.

Health is not just about physical and medical, health is also about how people deal with emotional, mental and relationship health. In this life we have so much stress, life has become so fast paced and there are not enough hours in the day sometimes to fulfill everything we need to do, and sometimes things happen out of the blue which we cannot get to, people are so busy with school, work, home and so many responsibilities pile up, commitments we must attend to and everyone has worries and everything, which can lead to mental, emotional stress and its a crazy thing we all go through. In this day in age, a lot of families do not have too much time together as people have to work a lot harder to upkeep, put a roof over their heads, and so much more. It puts a number on people and its an unfair world we live in these days, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do right?

I myself had a health scare, but everything is good news and I am happy about it. Thank goodness and thank the Lord our God. Unfortunately some are not so lucky and do not make it which is crazy and I wish everyone well, a good clean bill of health and wishing everyone all the best with everything. You maybe battling and getting through each day, and playing it be ear and I wish everyone many blessings. God forbid anything happening to everyone. Lets put our health forward and concentrate on that the most and never lose hope. Always have faith, always live life positive. I know it is easier said than done, but positivity is the key to anything in life and no matter what life throws at us. All the best to all!

So take it easy and live life to the fullest.

Don’t Try & Grow Up Too Fast. Take Each Phase Of Your Life As It Comes

Hello, I am sure this has been an issue in almost every household on how children want to grow up too fast and where they go to their moms or dads room to try on big shoes, put on make up, and try on mommy and daddy clothes. I myself have done that. Took my moms shoes, wore them, put on her dresses, put on the make up and then do a fashion show like on a catwalk runway. Then my mom put me to the side and said, Talin don’t try to grow up too fast and put make up on too early. She said everything has its time and you will get here soon enough. I sometimes could not wait to grow up so I can get into places over the age of 18, 19, 21 and start buying lotto tickets, but I have only bought one lotto ticket in my life and that was when I turned 18 years of age from what I was hearing when I was a kid being in adult conversations when company was over, or when we went to other people’s houses, I couldn’t help but hear adult conversations going on, so it intrigued me and that is where I learned these things, but I just continued to being a kid and playing with barbies and other toys.

I started going into Casinos at age 19 in Ontario and in Quebec. As well as Niagara, Falls New York. My curiosity sparked and I wanted to experience it, Not for the sole purpose of gambling, but to get into the casino and just walk around and see the different slot machines and table games. I am not much a gambler and a casino goer but I like to go there to walk around, relax and have a soft drink, water, coffee to relax and to be in the ambiance of colour, noise from the machines. Its pretty awesome, but the moral of the story is, to live every phase as it comes and to live every age the same way. When we are kids we want to grow up so fast and then when we become adults, I am sure almost all of us have said, I wish I was a kid again, I wish I was home playing, I wish I went back to elementary grade school, I wish I was a kid again to not worry about life and everything. Unfortunately we can’t turn back the clock and rewind to where we want to go in the past, but it is important to move forward in your life and take each time you have as it comes. When you feel young at heart, when you feel healthy and content, that is the best lottery you can ever win, and that is the best casino you can be in terms of health, body and soul.

Some people never get another chance at tomorrow, and tomorrow for some will never come. You live once, enjoy each year and make the most of your life. Life is precious and is given to you. You are the chosen one and your put on earth for a reason and you have to be the one to discover it. Life is a beautiful thing and it can be awesome, you have to make it awesome and you have to make life, not waste it away. turning 28 years old a month ago made me realize that wow I only have 2 more years of my 20’s and then I will be saying hello to my 30’s. Hopefully. Which is why you live for today, you live for tomorrow, and surviving in between is what we try to do, but always know, that when you want to grow up too fast, you miss a lot of your years. take it all in step by step, day by day. Growing up is becoming mature, and being mature is what makes you grow up. There is a big kid in all of us, but maturity is key. Life is what you make of it.

The Days Are Getting Closer To My Travels – I Am So Excited

I cannot believe how quick the days are approaching to my travels to California and Las Vegas. It will be my first time in both places. I cannot wait until I see Welcome to the fabulous Las Vegas and Welcome to California.  I will be visiting Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon as well. Since were right there. All those Western, and all those other types of movies on the desert will be on my mind as I travel from Vegas to California,to name a few such as the Griswolds of National Lampoons Vegas Trip, or those movies where they would be on the desert. Traveling is a big deal in my life and I love to see so many places. I’d like to give a big recognition and thank you to my father for getting me on the way and seeing the world. I have to thank him very much. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be going to half the places, I would be going to all my life. Traveling is precious to me. I love going to different places in the world and getting out of my city.

You know when some people say when I retire, I will travel, but sometimes when people retire, they start having pains in their body and then won’t be able to travel anymore. My dad always says, go live life to the fullest, your not going to take anything with you. Might as well as invest that money and go away and travel, and enjoy, see the world, You come with nothing and go with nothing. Yes although saving money is important on a rainy day and if something happens or whatever, but if your the type that likes to travel, do it. and go for it.

I love knowing and experiencing different places. I know there is the internet and encyclopedia’s to learn about different countries and such, but it is a lot different when you go there physically and experience it up close and personal. I am so fortunate like I said for my father to have taken me to all these places, and when he sent me to Armenia with my grade 8 Armenian School Graduating class. I was 14 years old when I went to Armenia the first time in summer of 1999. I saw my Armenia Motherland and that was ultimately one of the most beautiful trips I had gone to with touring Paris, France first before getting on the plane to Armenia.

Well, Anyway, I am super excited! Counting down the days. 🙂

The Year Is Flying By So Quickly – Live Life To The Fullest Extent

This morning I woke up, and the first thing came to my mind was how fast this year rolling by. We have 4 and a half months left until 2013. Can you believe it? We are already almost in the middle of August. That is so crazy. I remember when we just celebrated the new year and now were almost back to school and everything else. I can’t believe how fast the years are flying by. I always say to live life to the fullest extent and always make each day count in your life. You never know when it is your time, so you must always cherish the time you have on earth, because it is only a limited time. My parents always said that when you are young you must always work hard in everything, so that when you grow up and get to a certain age in your life, you will have an easy life later. If you slack off and don’t work hard you will have a hard life later with many complications. They are so right about that because in life we will always encounter the easy times and hard times and in between. Life is really how you make it, and how you portray yourself. Your name and your legacy are one of the most important things you can do for yourself. Make a great name out of you.

I believe that life is a special gift given to us by God and our parents. I could see some people around me who are having babies and I could see the struggle they go through to raise children and to feed them, nurture them, clean them, take care of them, love them and teach them the right things early. It isn’t easy to be parents at all. It is one of the toughest jobs out there, but don’t let that deter you from having children of your own. They are a blessing to have and it changes the home, and life for families and its a beautiful thing to hear the voice of a baby and the laughter of a baby. It is so sweet and precious. I know as they grow and become toddlers, kids, children, teenagers and adults, they will go through phases and that is the evolution of life. Were only a little creature in our mom’s tummy and we grow and grow.

I always thank my parents for giving me life and raising me and being where I am today 27 years later. Although I have had a rough childhood with people bullying me, and with people terrorizing me, but that didn’t stop me from living my life, and that didn’t stop me from being me. I believe strongly in living life to the fullest and the heck with people whom bring me down and who bring my dreams down and think that I cannot do anything, because I have made people bite their tongue and not talk so big and it backfired on many people. They think they can always bring me down and dictate me and control me, but they can never control me. I am an adult now, and I can make my own decisions. Life is beautiful. It is all in the way you look at it. I love my life now and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in this world.

So live your life, be happy, and don’t take everything so seriously. There is a time for everything. So live a little.

A Tribute To My Grandfather Who Died 10 Years Ago Today – June 30, 2002 – June 30, 2012

A Decade ago, I lost someone very dear to me and someone who is so special to me, and that is my grandfather Habib Torossian. He died just about a week and a half before his birthday on July 11. I remember the morning of June 30, 2002, when we got that terrible phone call, before 9am in the morning saying that My grandfather had passed away in his hospital bed at the nursing home. It was one of those days where my world shut down, crying my eyes out, and so much going through my head and I was so distraught and shocked at the same time. We sort of knew it was coming, but then again I was shocked. My grandfather meant the world to me, he taught me so many things about life, he taught me the importance of being in the Armenian community, among so many things, and he had such a wonderful sense of humour. I can still remember his smiling face, the way he used to sit, His voice, his touch, the way he cooked, the way he played backgammon. I mean who would forget those special moments I shared with him? I will never forget my sweet grandfather.

I remember going to several trips, picnics, camping, outings, dinners, get together, parties, among very great times with my beautiful cousins, and my mom, aunts and uncle.

My grandfather had a heart of Gold, he was so down to earth and put his family first above anything else. His passion for Armenia, His passion for writing, his passion for being in the Armenian community was so contagious. I think that is where I get it from. I visit the cemetery to see him once in a while, and I kiss his tomb stone and always tell him, “Dede”(means grandfather), in Armenian, so I would say, I miss you so much. This past year or so, My grandfather appeared in my dreams 5 times. It was so comforting to see his face once again. He was wearing all white. He is my Angel from above and I love him with all my heart. He is always in my heart and that is something that will never go away. I miss him terribly much. There is just so much I want to talk to him about, there have been so many things that he has missed in the past 10 years, but he is watching from above and watching over all of us. I love him and I wish there was a way to bring him back, but unfortunately, not. He will live on in our memories, and in our homes, in our lives forever. His soul and his goodness will never be forgotten. The fond and beautiful memories is so important to remember. To My dear grandfather Habib Torossian, I love you forever. I know heaven is a beautiful paradise and your there with other family members and friends who have passed, have a wonderful time together up there. God rest your soul, God keep shining light on you and among our loved ones who are not physically here with us today. One love. One Life. Kisses and Hugs Grandpa! I love you! Until we meet again. This is not goodbye. It’s see you later.

Kid’s Are So Spoiled These Days. I Just Never Knew How Much Until Yesterday

So Yesterday, I was out on my regular shopping and I came across this kid who looked like she was 6 or 7 years old and her mother in the same aisle. I was looking at stuff and all of a sudden the kid sees something she likes, and then all of a sudden she says Mommy can I have this? The mother said no you cannot have that, the kid started to make a huge fuss and ask why? I want it now, and treating the mother terribly, then the mother said no again and the child started to cry and scream out, I was just watching this whole thing from afar and I was about to intervene, but I said you know what? I am not going to do anything. The Mother said, that’s it were going home and she said your punished, and I am taking away your cell phone. So they took off without buying anything in the store. The mother got so furious. Never mind all that, but cell phone at age 6-7? You have got to be kidding me right? I was at a loss for words that such a young child who barely got out of playing with baby toys and plastic and in the colouring phase that has a cell phone. I cannot believe how spoiled children have become. They do anything to get what they want, but I really commend this mother who kept saying no to her child. I guess the mother came to a point and put her foot down and not let her have that, but the cell phone thing really turned me off.

I just cannot believe it, I never had my first cell phone until I was 18 years old. I was so happy with my crayons, I was so happy playing with my little dolls, I was so happy with the creativity, and imagination I had when I was a kid. I did crafts, I created so many things, I drew things, I did arts and crafts with glue, coloured paper, and so much more. Now kids rely on technology to do the thinking for them and now everything revolves around keyboards and they cannot do a day without them which is pretty sad. Before I would see a lot more kids outside playing, riding bikes, playing road hockey and doing outdoor things, but now the residential streets are more quiet and kids are inside playing video games or are on the computer or texting with cell phones to other friends. If the parents keep saying yes for the kid to have the latest gadgets and if they parents don’t say no, the child obviously becomes spoiled so much and just one day when you say no, they make a big stink about it in the store, they start to threaten the mother or father at the store, they start to make a big scene, but how will we teach our children about saving money? How will we teach our children about not getting everything their classmates or friends have? How kids should not copy other people and be their own person.

I remember there was so many things that came out, and my parents always taught me just because somebody else has something it doesn’t mean that you should have it too. My parents taught me a lot when I was growing up, and I was content and happy with what I had. They told me that kids in the world don’t have toys to play with, food to eat, and other things in life, and a lot of those children in impoverished countries and places where they don’t have running water, create their own games, create their own toys and play with their friends, relatives, siblings. Its very important to realize that when kids are too spoiled and the parents always say yes to their children and they don’t get what they want, the parents need to sit down and talk to their kids, they need to teach kids values, lessons and tell them to watch videos on how kids live in third world countries, get them to realize that these kids have it so good, they have a roof over their heads, food to eat, and necessities of life. Kids should not complain that they don’t have an Ipod or the latest gaming console, or the latest cell phone or something. They should be fortunate enough and always be thankful to their parents for giving them a good life, for giving them more important things in life rather than material things. Materialism is unbelievable and when kids grow up to be spoiled and always get what they want, then they will do that to their kids and their kids will do that to theirs.

Sit down with your kids, talk to them, do something that will benefit them in the future. Kids should work more on their personalities, morale, quality, and start gaining responsibility. When kids learn at a young age, the future will be bright for them, and when they exercise the good things in life and stop making a big fuss in a store because they didn’t get what they wanted, should be a good lesson. Yesterday when I was shopping like I said with the mother and child who had a cell phone, that did it for me, and I just had to write about it, in today’s blog. I am so concerned on how spoiled kids have gotten and it needs to stop. I cannot stress it enough. Parents give their children a lot of freedom, they give them way too much than they can really handle. It’s time to say no and teach kids that having everything others have is not a great thing. don’t copy other people, be your own person and so what if other kids laugh, it all begins with the big figures in their lives which are their parents. Try it out. spend time with them and teach them. It’s the best way to go.

Then my mom put me to the side and said, Talin don’t try and grow up too fast and put make up on too early. She said everything has its time and you will get here soon enough. I sometimes could not wait to grow up so I can get into places over the age of 18, 19, 21 and start buying lotto tickets, but I have only bought one lotto ticket in my life and that was when I turned 18 years of age from what I was hearing when I was a kid being in adult conversations when company was over, or when we went to other peoples houses, I couldn’t help but hear adult conversations going on, so it intrigued me and that is where I learned these things, but I just continued to being a kid and playing with barbies and other toys.

When you feel young at heart, when you feel healthy and content, that is the best lottery you can ever win, and that is the best casino you can be in in terms of health, body and soul.

Some people never get another chance at tomorrow, and tomorrow for some will never come. You live once, enjoy each year and make the most of your life. Life is precious and is given to you. You are the chosen one and your put on earth for a reason and you have to be the one to discover it. Life is a beautiful thing and it can be awesome, you have to make it awesome and you have to make life, not waste it away. turning 27 years old this past Monday made me realize that wow I only have 3 more years of my 20’s and then I will be saying hello to my 30’s.

Becoming Parents Means To Being Responsible & Becoming Great Role Models To Children

There is something that has been quite the course of concern for me as I watched the news today of a woman who took her daughter to a tanning salon and her being so dark from those tanning salons where her daughter was exposed to terrible radiation and burns from those machines. These tanning salons and tanning beds have got to be the worst things that people go to and all the terrible radiation people are exposed to, is just unbelievable. People are spending money foolishly on these tanning salons which is so bad for you, I cannot even begin to describe it, well lets just say cancer is around the corner. let alone taking a child to a tanning salon thinking its okay to take your child there, when it isn’t. It is not even good for adults to go there as well.

Natural Sunlight is what you need and it gives off the much needed Vitamin D and Vitamin E that our bodies need. Now furthermore, I believe that when people become parents it is very important to be good role models to children and set good examples to them, by taking them to places that are appropriate and to their age. It is important to teach children good qualities, good manners, etiquette and kindness. Now what this woman did to her child, is so wrong. I do not have children of my own yet, but I already know how I will raise my child when my time comes to have children. With good values, Qualities, Having my child grow up gradually with each age and what to provide for my child in his/her stages in life. I will teach my child to have a great personality to give off to the world. I will not expose my child to inappropriate things.

I just do not understand why these people are in business with tanning when its just so horrible and bad for you and people still continue to go to it. It is just so appalling to see this on the news. I just had to write about this today. I am so concerned and worried. I really hope that child stays safe. The safety and security of children is very important to me. I really hope Parents spend time with their children to teach them and raise them properly with good values and qualities and how to be in society. I really really hope! Children are blessings and so important in our lives. We too were children, but its the way to bring them up is what is important in life. Do what you can to protect your children and spend more time with them. Unfortunately sometimes that doesn’t apply to everyone due to an unfortunate loss and my condolences, but to those who have it, do not take it for granted, do not take the time you have with your children for granted and get them to have a mutual understand and mutual feelings because I hate seeing families get ripped apart because of things that can be fixed.

Just make a promise to me to take good care and raise your children with morals and respect. It is very important! Thank you!
