Social Media Spam & Fake Accounts Beware

In the last few years, as technology of communication across the world has become a lot easier with transmitting information instantly across the world with just a single submit, post, or publish button. The world has come a long way with all that and it is incredibly amazing where technology has taken us. Some for the good, and some for the bad. The bad part about social media, e-mails and accounts are spam and fake ones.

I am sure some of us or if not all of us have encountered people saying “If you follow me, you can get instant thousands of followers back”, and then you see these accounts with fake usernames with so many numbers and a name with it like “Joy34342432456” or profile’s with suspicious fake photos, and then they try to add you as a friend, but you don’t even know them. After they send you e-mails saying “Hey, I saw your profile, you look great, and I want to get to know you and some sort of stuff” I am just getting so tired of all these bot’s and fake accounts that are circulating the internet.

I think the most important priority for these social media website creators, and those who work for these social media companies especially the IT, Security and safety teams, should really begin to clean out fake profiles. I know it is easier said than done and sometimes these fake profiles, hackers and everything made it so complicated to tell, but I can tell right away if it is a fake account.

So many things to look at when dealing with a spammer and fake account holder. here is my list:

– They only have 1 photo of themselves or they don’t have a profile photo and they put a picture of a unicorn or something. That becomes suspicious

– When they do not post anything on their profile pages.

– When you hashtag *#* or write about a certain thing on Twitter, an automatic bot will detect people’s status messages and retweet, like and follow you.

– They spam people to look at adult content videos

– They tag you in potential virus content that will mess up the security of your computer that will steal your passwords, and personal information.

– When they say, follow me and you get thousands of followers

– when there are e-mails that are like this “3535serger345gvdrgererwaefqw@swewed34325435fsfsada.com”

and so much more.

You must be so careful on what you add, who you add on your social media accounts.

I am going to begin to set up a petition online for these social media, and e-mail companies to really start cracking down on fake accounts, bots, and spammers to delete, remove and clean up the internet. Instead of focusing on new layouts, exciting new features and updates on these social media outlets, They should really be focusing on and managing security and safety of all the other users, by making it a little harder in the beginning when signing up for an account to ask several questions, to “I’m Not a Robot” or some sort of captcha, number to type down before creating a site, and go through extra steps to ensure safety and security of us all.

We should also be helping out these social media outlets. If you do see something that is not right or if you feel that you are being followed by robots or whatever, tell your social media outlet, report it, send an e-mail or whatever the case maybe, and they will investigate it and deal with it. There are millions and millions of accounts on these social media outlets and Facebook has over 1 billion people worldwide using it, so it can be quite difficult to combat all these accounts, so we as account holders should help them out and report these fake people or IF we can even call them that to them. It is so important.

Do not be discouraged of joining the social media world, just because of these things that are happening. Social Media outlets are awesome and it can be a fun, enjoyable and great place to keep in touch with loved ones, share photos, status messages and everything. I am not deterring anybody from this age in technology, I am just merely suggesting and advising people to really be so careful on who you add, and everything. If you do feel that it is suspicious, please report the account and delete and block it.

Have you been a victim of social media spam? What have you encountered?

Best wishes always, and remember to make wise decisions when Spammers and Bots come to you. best thing to do is to ignore, delete, report and then block. The social media outlet will see that it happened, as everything is on file at their end. Just be safe and enjoy social media.

Tips to Keeping Your LinkedIn Profile Professional

In the professional world since 2002, CEO Jeff Weiner and founders of LinkedIn Reid Hoffman, Konstantin Guericke, Jean-Luc Vaillant, Allen Blue and Eric Ly took resume building to an all new level to becoming the World’s largest professional network. The headquarters are located in Mountain View, California, but have offices everywhere across the world now. There are over 400 million users and the site is available in 24 languages.

It is also a place where employers can submit job postings for those who are seeking it, getting in contact with managers, supervisors, CEO’s, presidents, founders and so on and so forth.

Now, there are some people who think of LinkedIn as another social media outlet. So, people begin to share all kinds of information such as being married, sharing a profile picture that is meant for other social media outlets, not keeping that to a professional manner. Well, here are tips to keep your LinkedIn Professional. If you have an account that is.

— Always choose a professionally done profile photo or allow someone to take a photo with your camera. Make sure it is clear and not dark. do not have photos of you and your other half, a picture of you and your pet, a picture of you at a party, a drink in your hand, do not post ones of you with your others friends or family members. The whole purpose is just about you.

— Never share your relationship status, if you are married, single, divorced, widowed or whatever the case maybe. Employers and other professionals should not know that information.

— Do not share your full birthdate. If you like to add just the month and the day you can. Never reveal your year of birth.

— Do not add everyone as friends and think this is Facebook, Twitter or whatever else in Social Media. This is meant to be a professional network of potential employers, people you have worked with, and those that know you in that manner. Be very careful on adding spam and fake accounts.

— If you go and look up other people’s profiles, there is a way to track people who are looking at your profile. vice versa. there is an icon that you can do that.

— LinkedIn is supposed to be Social Media free, but they implement that. Do not post status messages and hashtags things not related to business, school and at a professional level.

— Do not go overboard with endorsements. That makes you look over -qualified. Also telling people to give testimonials. That should be automatic from other people if they enjoyed working with you, doing business with you, then they will come forward to write something about you. Do not request it from others.

— Refrain from joining way too many groups for the sake of joining them. Join the ones that are in relative to you and ones that you will contribute to.

— Always keep professional, always update your profile, engage with other people who share similarities with you and those who are at your level.

— They say to pay for LinkedIn Services to get more out of it, and to see the full list of people looking at your profile, you don’t really need that. A regular profile is just good enough.

Best wishes in your professions, careers and whoever is looking for employment.

Interviewing Myself About My Social Media Journey

A few people have been asking me questions lately about my Social Media journey, and what empowered me to start being active in this whole new way of communicating to the world instantly. Well, here are questions that I am going to be interviewing myself with:

1. How many years have you been active in Social Media?

In May of 2000, I joined AsianAvenue.com, Black Planet, Migente all around that time. Which is about 15 years and almost 2 months, that I have been active, then couple of years later, I joined Myspace.

2. How did you educate yourself in Social Media?

When I began to be educated on what Social Media really is. I began writing, changing my layout of my pages in Asian Avenue, Migente, Black Planet and Myspace. I had hours of fun changing pictures, writing short stories, shout-outs to people, putting avatars, symbols HTML, Style CSS codes. That is when I began to really enjoy myself, and then that is where I launched myself into the Internet world.

3. What was your very first Blog Site to write in? (+ Other sites)

LiveJournal was my first website that I started to write in, then I went to Blogger from Google. Now in present day, I have been on WordPress the longest.

4. What have you been through to get this far to Social Media today?

Well, as a lot of people in Social Media and blogging begin to think in the beginning, ask a lot of questions and inquire on How are people going to engage into my postings? How Can I get out there to be noticed? What do I need to do to be successful? Well, I went through so much to get to where I am today. I began to do extensive research online about how to attract readers, and amongst how to get through the challenging aspects of it all. I then began to learn to tag my posts, so it can be seen by so many people, then I began asking questions and getting feedback from others who are in the same boat as me and who have gone through it all. Soon after I began to get comfortable with it all, I was in a whole new world of communication. It was not easy. For months I did not receive any comments, readers, and those who were engaging into my site. So I put it into action and began to make friends all over the internet, and then my journey officially began.

5. What would you say was the most struggling aspect of your Social Media Journey. Does it still apply to you in present day?

Well, the most struggling aspect of social media, is that right now there is just so many bloggers, so many people in social media and they all want practically the same thing. To be noticed, for people to engage, share, like, and comment on posts. I must say the getting noticed part is the most difficult aspect of it all and which audience you want your content to be available to.

6. Does your family and friends support you in your journey through Social Media?

Yes, definitely. Without the support, foundation from my family and friends, I wouldn’t be where I am today, and I wouldn’t be here conducting this interview for myself. I thank them very much for standing behind in what I love to do, what I am pursuing in all of this, and as well as inspiring the world with my writings, talents and so much more.

7. What do you like to write about?

I like to write about various things such as travel, tips, advice, inspiring stories, stories that have happened to me, promoting others, recipes, causes, and much more.

8. Did you ever have writers block?

Yes, several times. Sometimes as a writer, My mind freezes up and do not have anymore capacity in my brain to come up with new topics, and what to do next. Then after a few days go by, things start coming back to me, and begin to write again.

9. What advice do you have for aspiring and up and coming social media activists?

Just to take your time with social media. Do not rush into getting so much viewership, and engaged readers. It takes time to establish yourself. Well, not all the time. Also to always make sure your site is searchable, to add keywords, tag posts and engage in other peoples social media journey as well.

Understanding Social Media – Twitter

Since April, 2007, Twitter launched its social media website to the world. Twitter’s headquarters is located in San Francisco, California, where then eventually many offices were open in the United States, as well as the world. Millions of people have now created accounts since its launch. Twitter is a social media website where people share instantly without barriers of create ideas, advertising ones own business, as well as promoting events, causes, raising awareness on issues of the world, trending the news, popular words, phrases, currents events and more with 140 Characters or less.

In August of 2007, Chris Messina had incorporated the Hashtag “#” sign which is the number sign, which makes it easier and what will attract the world with certain keywords used to promote, advertise and make something popular with the hopes that it will begin to trend. For example, when you create hashtags such as #People #SocialMedia #Life #Love #Travel – and then if another person decides to write the same Hashtags, it will come up on the same page, and it will be like a chat room where people can communicate with each other, as well as if something is found to be interesting, they will add someones tweet to their favourites and re-tweet it on their page.

You will then receive notifications, that what you post on where it is and who has posted it on their pages. When people find something or someone interesting, they may or may not start following them and adding them on their list.
I know you are probably thinking, what can I write and share in 140 Characters or less? Well, there is a lot you can do in that limit. There is always something somebody is searching for and Twitter has made it easier to share it with the world. You can post photos, links, personal websites, and so much more which of course with obeying Twitters terms of service. Twitter also has a short link generator, which you can find the twitter short link generator and save space in the status message you are about to share. You can find it on a search engine site of your choice.

There are quite a few people that have told me, what is twitter? How can I understand it? why did it become so popular? Well, it is a social media website that has blossomed like wild flowers in the world. Like I said in my previous articles, people will search for anything, and when it comes on the news about a new website, and they begin to advertise so much on Media outlets, it will be a huge hit and sensation in the world. Twitter still is after 8 years.

I am so happy with Twitter. I feel that it has gotten so much easier to raise awareness about certain topics and issues of the world, and to address important subjects to our society. Thank you Twitter for giving us all an opportunity to get out there, to achieve, and to do what our hearts desire to the world. If you do not have an account with twitter, make one, it will make it so much easier to share blogs, ideas and so much more that you want to contribute to the world.

I wish Twitter and its staff all the best and many more years of trending, re-tweeting, tweeting, sharing and more. Thanks twitter.

The Social Media Information Overload

In the life and times of the society we are in, We keep hearing about Social Media and the many websites and how technology has changed so much with communication and how the internet is the biggest information/communication hub of the world now and I know in the last few posts, I have written about it, however this is such a thing as Social Media Information Overload, however that should never deter you from putting yourself, your ideas, suggestions, experiences, stories and more out there. There are many people in this world who want to look for different types of information in different context and there is always some type of information out there for everyone.

I know Social media is a huge topic and starting out and beginning your journey is something that can be frustrating and so intimidating, that you just want to give up quickly and not give it a chance. When I began blogging, writing and putting myself out there in the public eye, I never thought that I would get this far. I read many blogs, and tutorials on social media and how to get myself out there and I began following those instructions, then gradually I began getting so much feedback and so much more out of it. At first, I thought this is such a waste of time, and I won’t get anywhere, but then I gave it a chance, and everything fell into place. You just need to give it the green light.

I know some people are probably thinking, how of hundreds and thousands of blogs, twitter posts and all the writings, articles of the world, how someone can get to my site, and see my posts and things that I put out there to see? Well, it is very easy with over 3 Billion people who use the internet, it is very easy for so many people out of those billions of people who want to search for something that interests them and they will go through many sites to find it and they will get onto your site. It is pretty neat to be shown on Search Engine sites, and with searching for a topic or something is easy. People will sift through many search engine pages and when they see a blog or something that interests them, they will click on your site and see the content they want, then they might share it amongst their family and friends, and then will share it on their social media sites.

Some tips to take note of and a word of advice when beginning your social media journey:

– Be Patient
– Engage, Discover, Deliver
– Read Social Media Tutorials
– Get on Social Media Marketing websites and receive e-mails on articles
– Keep writing, Posting material
– Give yourself and your social media journey a chance
– Get on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook
– When you are on twitter hashtags like this #hashtags #blogs #socialmedia is important to spread out with whatever topics you want to share in 140 Characters or less.
– Never take take take – Give as well.

When you are in social media, do not make it a competition of “Oh I am better than everyone else” approach “My material is the best” attitude. People automatically feel the way things are written online, and if people feel that someone is complimenting themselves so much and becoming a center of attention, it becomes less interesting to engage into that persons website. Never make someone feel that their material and what they write is something that is not good or don’t make people feel that what they have to say isn’t important. We are all important, and what we all have to say is something that is good to read. Never slander and insult somebody because of it. We all have something incredible and wonderful to contribute to in the world.

All in all, Social Media is a great thing to be in. It is a communication of information that can be beneficial for everyone. So take the chance and see where it takes you. Have fun and best wishes!

My Vision of Empowerment of Social Media

Since social media has been a big trend on the internet and the world, We all have different outlooks and perspectives toward the vision of empowerment and communications that social media has that a lot of people are in, however my vision for social media and what I want to get out of it is to inspire, share my views/opinions and to educate others in the life experiences I have had and will continue to have. My vision is to raise awareness on certain issues that have me deeply interested in and to make a difference one person and many people at a time.

Some people create blogs, and become active on social media to see where things will take each and everyone of us and the purpose we have to get to that point. Still, I think the traditional word of mouth is something much more powerful, however with this new age in technology, with communication that has gotten a lot easier than years ago, information gets sent instantly on the other side of the world with just a click of a button. It is incredible where inventions, technology has led us to a new realm of today, tomorrow and the future.

Social media has different levels of how we look at it, some always want it to be fun with posting funny jokes, memes, and doing funny things all the time, some post inspirational quotes, some post photos of themselves and/or with friends/family, postings about so many things.

Advertising has become a lot easier with posting events, flyers, sharing it on twitter, on Facebook news feeds, walls, inviting people to pages, fan pages, groups, also making it easy to RSVP to events, people post up greeting cards, Photoshopping, and all kinds of interesting and neat things. Social media is a huge thing in the world right now and it is getting more popular as time goes by.

A few people have messaged me in the last few years and have asked me “What are you getting out of social media”? My answer is simple, to empower, to communicate, to keep in touch, to meet new people, inspire, and with the hopes of changing the world and the perspective on life with my words and to spread love, happiness, joy and smiles across the globe. Once someone posts something, it is out there for the world to see.

We all understand social media in different context and ways and what we define our vision of it is. Some use social media to communicate with family and friends, some use it for business/commercial use and as well as many other things. No matter how we look at social media, we must always be very careful of the information we transmit and not post anything and everything that goes on in our lives for the world to see.

The biggest vision of mine is to communicate to the world through my eyes, my words, and my thoughts to the world as much as possible.

Keeping LinkedIn Professional – The Do’s & Don’ts

Has LinkedIn become just another social media website? It seems like it is. I have noticed that a lot people are using it for personal reasons, and not using it in a professional and good manner. It seems like it is being used as a dating site, and unprofessionally.

LinkedIn is a website for employers, employees, those seeking employment, building your online resume in the working world, your work, educational background, the languages you speak and volunteer experience. LinkedIn should solely be used for those purposes only. If you create an account on LinkedIn, always realize that you are sharing your profile alongside CEO’s, Executives, Managers, Employment scouts and so much more. It is very important to have a professional attitude and not treat LinkedIn as just another ordinary social media site.

LinkedIn is not Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, MySpace website. Here are the do’s and don’ts and how to keep yourself professional at all times.

01. When Creating an Account on LinkedIn, develop your profile by putting your educational, employment and volunteer background

02. On building your resume, never put “I” in your tasks and skills as the person who is reading your page knows that it is you, so you do not have to add that in.

03. It is always a good idea to post a professional picture of you on your profile. Do not post pictures that you have with your pet, not with other people in it, not to wear revealing clothing, to keep yourself groomed, and presentable in your photo.

04. Always demonstrate a professional attitude if others contact you. Be aware if they are spam or they are trying to endorse and selling something. Do not respond to them and just delete the message.

05. Do not put your full Birth-date, Marital Status, and other personal information about you, Always keep it professional and solely just about your Educational, Volunteer and employment experiences.

06. Always maintain your profile, network with others in the same interests and field as you. Interact, join in groups that are in relative to you.

07. You do not need to get a premium profile just to find out who is visiting your profile. A basic profile is just good enough.

08. It is not a Dating website and it is not a good idea to find love on a professional website. Be discreet, set your standards high and do not answer. Just simply delete and block people. Not the place for it.

09. Do not post comedic pictures, emotional status messages, selfies and inappropriate things on your profile.

10. Lastly, always be careful with people who over endorse you with whom you never really spend time with, or have never worked with. It is nice to endorse people, but keep that to minimum. There is such a thing as over endorsing, that will make the person over qualified and will send the wrong message out to those who do not know you. So watch out with that. – Also do not request others to make a testimonial about you. Let others do it without asking.

That is all. I hope this will help you make the right decisions when using LinkedIn. All the best and Good luck.

Make It a Happy World – Start With Yourself

In order to make a positive, happy, and optimistic difference in the world, you first must have to make a difference within yourself to be more happy, optimistic and positive, because if you lead a negative, pessimistic, unhappy life, that is all that you will spread to the world and that will not help anybody, and it will especially not be good for you. Instead of moving forward, you will always go back. Don’t go back, you are not headed that way anyway right?

– Take time just to spend time with yourself, think of all the great qualities you have and utilize them to the world.
– On a sheet of paper, write down 10 good things about yourself and what you can do to make this world a better place, and put that somewhere visible in your home, on your Fridge door, in your room, in the room you are mostly, wherever you want. Then use those 10 good things, get out in the world and do it, once you do it, you will see the world-changing to a better place for us all.
– You have the power to make life better for you, you just need to live a little, live life to the fullest, and when you least expect it, something good will always come in front of you.
– life has unexpected twists and turns, sometimes it can be unfortunate, but in order to rise above it all, refer to the 10 things you write about yourself and go from there. You will see life in an all new light. Because things go bad for you some days, that does not mean that everyday will be bad for you. Get up, dust yourself off, and get going.
– As you go down that road of life, stop and admire its beauty, smell the beautiful flowers that blossom your life, appreciate, be thankful, show gratitude, smile, keep your head up high, be honest with others and yourself.

Be yourself always, and never ever be someone you are not. Besides everybody else is taken, so take yourself, be who you are. You are enough. Make the World happy, but start with yourself.

Being Negative on Social Media All the Time – Not a Good Idea

In the last decade or so, since I have been involved social media websites, began to view Peoples profiles, news feeds, status messages, quotes and everything these particular people post about life, about struggles, always something negative because that is all they associate themselves with, instead of making things better for them. Now, let me tell you why it is not a good idea to post negativity all the time on social media websites:

Reason being is that everybody even if you think can’t see it, they can, and it does not make you look good in other peoples eyes when you constantly update statuses and post photo quotes on very negative things. It begins to be too much and people will then start thinking, this person is seeking attention, always wants people to comment, retaliate, saying things will get better, have faith, look forward in future and everything, and it also makes that person look like their life is totally bad, that nothing good is ever coming to that person. Well, life is what you make it, and if you keep going in circles always looking for negativity, and no positive outcomes, then that is all it is going to be.

I know it is not in my business, it’s easier said than done in some case, or my place to criticize, and to bring this topic up because I may not know what is going on personally in people’s personal lives with situations like this that arise, but life is not entirely bad as people think it is. When you start thinking positively, with good thoughts, being optimistic, looking forward, smiling, and doing good things to benefit others and yourself, you will see that life is beautiful, you will then discover a whole new world of being happy with yourself and whom you are.

There comes a point in life where you need put your foot down, and say enough is enough. I cannot be depressed all my life, I cannot be unhappy, miserable and then because I am miserable, unhappy, depressed and negative, that I have to make everybody else around my circle the same way. You have to make your life and the way you want your life to be. You cannot do this to yourself. It is not good. Especially always seeking attention on social media websites. It does not lead a good impression on yourself and that is not good.

Some people will never learn and change their ways unfortunately, and I know people like that and it saddens me. In order to change your outlook on life to a more positive, optimistic approach, you gotta do everything and anything to create your own happiness, to create your own smiles to stand up on your own two feet and put your foot down and say, “Hey, why am I doing this?” You cannot blame anybody else. Your attitude on life is the biggest thing. Change your attitude and life will change. I guarantee you.

Ok once, twice, three times you post something and you need help with getting advice and everything on what to do with a certain situation is fine, but if you keep on posting the same things all the time, day in and day out about a certain subject especially on relationships, friendships and everything, people will then think, this person has not learned anything we tell them, this person just keeps going in circles with just hearing and reading our advice, but in goes one ear and out the other. Don’t waste your time writing the same negativity day in and day out and don’t waste other people’s time for them spending their time to write to you.

People do care, and want the best for you, that is why they write to you in the first place, and that is why they want you to do better, be happy and steer to the right direction. It will one day come to a point where those people will stop writing to you because you do not seem to understand anything. If you post something on social media websites, it is there for people to see, and people will retaliate, people will respond or choose not to, but they will see it. Don’t drive someone to a point where they no longer will give a care. Think long and hard before you post another status message or post something that is negative.

Empower people by posting happy thoughts, and goodness. Once you start looking for positivity, optimism and happiness, you will see how life will change, but it is totally up to you! Make the good impression on yourself. best wishes!

Are You A Twitter User? Do You Tweet A lot?

Since a few years back when twitter was introduced to the social media world, a lot of people found out about the website and began to sign up for it twitter is a website where you can update statuses of 140 Characters or less, put links, photos and share news of the world, sharing travel, social media and other news and as well as people who are interested in so many things. Then on the left side menu you see topics trending and newest updates of the world, and you can even choose local trends in your own country. I am beginning to really like twitter a lot. You can interact with many people, companies, and post your feelings, small quotes, and update your twitter status as much as you like, you can re-tweet interest statuses. You can follow up to 2001 people, but twitter has this guideline that if you have over 3000 people following you, then you can follow the equal amount of people.

Do you use twitter? What do you use it for? Do you use it to boost your business? Do you use it for personal use? Well, whatever it is, its amazing. You can search me at @tweetertalin and follow me, and I can update you on my blog, and among other things and interesting finds I see on twitter. I am into social media and I find the best stuff on there. I love posting hashtags. Hashtags are what gets you more noticed. Say you write about social media so you write #socialmedia and it turns another colour, then when you click on social media, it will come up with things that other people are writing about that subject, and you can interact with others and reply, re-tweet, and be active with others, you can make a lot of friends on twitter, and before you know it, your follows increase, and the more you engage, interact and get out there, the more people will know about you and your skills and when they see you posting great content, people attract to you more.

If you want to interact with a person directly, say you find a username like angeleyes or sweetie47 or whatever you put @angeleyes and then you write to them a short message on their twitter and it must be less than 140 characters or else it won’t send. Twitter is an interesting place. I am always on it now, and I like to do so many things on there, and I am always talking to big companies, and they respond back. You can go to connect on the top, and you can see your interactions, people who follow you, people who mention you, then you can search for keywords, people and whatever you are interested in and boom, you can find so many people.

If you do not have a twitter account, sign up, and include that in your blog, or share it on facebook or wherever and get your friends, family, co-workers or find interesting people on twitter, follow them and just have fun with it, and that way you can get people to interact with you more. In twitter you can post a profile picture, share photos, share hashtags and find people who are interested in the same kind of things. Gaining followers can take time in the beginning and getting your twitter started up can take a little time to go around, but you will get a hang of it. All it takes is sometime and you are on your way to a great new social media interface. Have fun with it and enjoy. You will have fun updating your statuses. Tell me what you think of it. All the best!

So many people have sent me personal e-mails from friends, family, fans, and everyone else who truly believes in me, I received an e-mail today which was so touching to me and it was one of the greatest e-mails ever when I opened up my inbox. This is the e-mail I received from one of my great friends from another city. I will keep her name anonymous, but this is what it said:

Dear Talin,

Since the beginning when I have subscribed to your blog, and have been following your social media path, you are such a beautiful person inside and out, you are not afraid to share with the world who you are, what you do, and your writings are wonderful, and I truly believe that this is your calling and your ultimate talent. Talin, we all have talent, we all come to this world with a strength, and God has chosen you to make a living and a career out of social media, marketing, and being a positive and influencing person in so many peoples lives. I see you have made quite a vast difference and impact in so many peoples lives, you have touched many hearts, you have that poise to inspire so many with your words. We need more people like you in this world, we need people like you in this generation of social media and communications as you are doing an excellent job in providing so much and I can see that you have dedicated a big portion of your life to blogging, and I think you found your niche. I love you so much my beautiful friend Talin. I wish you nothing but continued success in all that you do and I am one of your biggest fans. God bless you and I wish you nothing but the best in life. May all your wishes comes true. – Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah, The Talk, Marilyn Denis, do not know what they are missing. They need to discover you and soon. You deserve it and more.

love Always, Anonymous.

This was a sweet e-mail and I really cried up a storm of happy tears when I read this today. I have so much to give to society, and this realm of internet technology and more. I am not afraid of sharing, and it is a world I love, and its something that I see in other people when they give me reviews about me and what I love doing. I am doing this for myself, not because another person is telling me to do it. I believe in myself and I know that I will persevere and reach for the tops. I know it takes time and effort and finding the right connections, but I feel like my calling is now and I am not wasting another second of my life. I will keep proving myself, I will keep on working hard at what I love to do, and I will not let people give me negative remarks. I am going to celebrate my accomplishments and achievements so far and my friend who sent me that e-mail, I love you and that really touched my heart in so many ways. Thank you to everyone who believes in me, who entrusts me, who encourages, supports and puts me up and who appreciates me. I love you all very much. I wish everyone the best and may your dreams and wishes come true.

It is A Job To Find A Job – It is So Difficult

I cannot believe how difficult it is to find employment these days. It is not like before when over 10 years ago, people really wouldn’t look at someones resume, they would just bring them in for an interview and then boom, hired, now everyone has to go through background checks, a lot of companies want  100 applicants or whatever the case maybe and then they will choose the top 10, whilst the other people get canned. Nowadays, it is not what you know, or the level of education you have, it is who you know in that company. If you do not have the correct networking, and know the right people to get into a job, most of the time they don’t even look at you. There are a few of my friends who got into work by luck and by chance because they know someone in that field that can get them in. You can have 0 Education, and get into somewhere. I have a college and high school diploma, and it taking me a long time to get somewhere. My resume is up to date, and I have had substantial amounts of work experience in the past and they have said nice things about me to some employers of my next job.

I am going crazy with finding a job. There are job coaches, and employment centers, and I have gone through it all. I just can’t seem to get anywhere. I am trying my hardest and applying everywhere online. Now most companies provide their e-mail addresses, and websites to apply for jobs through there. I know the traditional way is to go hand in the resume in person, but some of the employers these days, don’t want that. they make it simple for the applicants to put the resume online and send it that way.

I am telling you, these days because of a lot of people slacking off, and not showing themselves, and some people who have become so lazy in their work and want to go home quick, and those who don’t want to work overtime to show their employers and prove themselves further, and that is the reason why lots of employers look and think twice and maybe 3 times before they can hire a person who actually works hard, and who actually wants to work. Some people slack off and don’t prove themselves and that is why employers, managers, CEO’s don’t trust people anymore, and that is why they hire people they know to do that specific job and don’t hire someone they don’t know. It all makes sense now. I know people out there who are so lazy and don’t want to do anything in their lives, and just go through life doing the bare minimum. Because of people like that, hard workers and those who actually want to work, cannot get anything. I am going crazy. I want to make money, I want to get more experience, I want to further myself in being a person with customer service.

It is starting to drive me crazy and I feel like I am not getting anywhere, but I know something will come up and I know that someone somewhere will discover me and I can start working, and making my own income. I just feel that those days are coming and soon. I am not going to give up and I am going for the right networking and going to ask around like crazy. I am up for doing anything right now and I don’t care about what I studied. I am going back to school for journalism and writing and hopefully I can get a job in a newspaper or some sort of news channel. well, anyways I am hopeful.

I wish everyone else who is also looking for employment all the best. I am in your shoes. so I know and understand perfectly how you feel. Good luck!

A Bad Attitude Is Like A Flat Tire, You Can’t Go Anywhere Until You Change It

Recently, I read this quote from somewhere and it really stuck to me. I believe that attitude is something so important in life and how we approach situations. When we have attitude problems and were always giving attitude to people is not a good thing to develop. When your car has a flat tire, you can’t go anywhere in life right? well, with a bad attitude and a negative attitude you won’t go anywhere. I believe that when someone has a good attitude and good behavior, there will be lots of open doors and there will always be opportunities for you. Having a bad attitude and not treating people with respect and dignity is a recipe for disaster. Everything you do, always strive to have a good attitude. Everyone can develop it. I know sometimes there are days where things go sour and things do not work out every time, but it is something that when you have a good attitude on life and when your always good to people, you can turn sour days into sweet days where life can be lived without attitude.

Approaching things with a good and positive attitude will get you places in life. I know all of us have great qualities, and we have to learn to utilize them and show them to the world. There is no shame in showing people your qualities in the world and people will understand it as things go along. We all can have great attitudes, we just have to work on it. Were not perfect people, were not always going to be happy and in a good mood all the time and things happen beyond our control and things can be tough and life too and you can feel like a tire that goes flat. I know and have experienced many of those days and I have been through so much, but that does not stop me from having a great attitude in life, to have that positive attitude always. It is very important. We create beauty with our behavior, actions and attitudes. beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say right? It is the same thing. When people understand and make life easier for them, they must learn it, and experience more.

Attitudes can be contagious, so watch out who you give it to unless they are great attitudes. just remember this and life will go awesome for you. Behavior and Attitude are major traits that are important in life. Go with the flow and never be afraid.

I Like The Internet Very Much, I Love To Communicate

In The last 14 years to almost 15 years now, since I started using the internet, I can remember when it was dial up and used to keep the phone line occupied most of the time, now the innovation of the internet has become more advanced and it’s switched over to Cable which is awesome, so that the phone does not get busy all the time when emergency phone calls are made. More over, I’d like to bring the internet to my personal level and how much I like the internet. I started by small steps to get to know computers, to get to know how to operate the internet, how to search, how to get the information I want right away. I am so happy with what the internet has become now. Information is transmitted immediately and instantly around the world. You can be in California and you can e-mail somebody in Italy and it will get there in an instant, or when you want to e-mail someone from Canada right to Australia, it will go in seconds. Technology has become awesome and it has made the world a smaller place. E-mail and typing has taken over and post offices, paper and pens are stacked up at the stores and I see no one really buying notebooks, pens, pencils anymore, It is great for the environment, but it hurts a lot of business’s but I also like to write and use pens too when I am in Bible Study and when I make shopping lists when I go out and more. I do not want to forget my penmanship. Further more, Skype, webcam’s are used to talk to family and friends around the world. Its an incredible tool to use, but to be careful with the internet too as it can be a dangerous place also. It all depends on how you use the internet and how you portray yourself.

Social Networking, Media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Pinterest, Tumblr, WordPress, Google, Linkedin, and so many other social media sites make the world a smaller place by finding family, girlfriends, boyfriends, friends, school mates, colleagues, and people you have met in your life to keep in touch with them. I cannot even begin to describe how I appreciate the internet. Or else I would have never found people and I would have never communicated with people whom I have not seen in ages. I am glad that the internet exists for great things only. One of the greatest things I like to do on the internet is read, do research on my favourite things, subjects, topics, discover new recipes, finding certain things on the internet, I have been looking for, reading about history, cultures, the world, and geography, as well as researching the places I have traveled and so much more. The internet is a tool where anything and everything can be searched. Its a great thing and I am so glad I have the internet. To be honest, I’d be lost without it. It is like my communication and news tool of the world besides the newspapers and television.

Now for safety and security while being on the internet. It’s a great idea to get a really great quality virus scanner and virus protector for your computer and internet. Be careful who you chat with and be careful who you add on your social networking profiles. People can misuse others, people and manipulate others, and do terrible things. It is very important to not just chat on any chatting websites. Do not give personal information, passwords, and other information to other people. no matter who they are. Things can be used against you and you have to always watch out and be very careful on things because whatever goes on the internet will always stay there forever and you need to really exercise caution. The internet can be a great place, but it is all on how you treat it, how well you take care of yourself online and not do anything that will jeopardize your future. Enjoy your internet and enjoy what you do, but always be mindful and take precautions. It can save a lot of hassle in the long run. Always protect yourself.

How Social Networking is booming

In the past decade or so, we have seen many social networking websites all over the internet. It is a way to keep in touch with family, friends, school mates, colleagues and more. Social networking has become a big boom in today’s technology. Clever and innovators have been coming up with ways to make the world smaller and making our lives easier by sending out e-mails, forwards and interesting things to those in our lives. It is quite amazing how so much has changed in our lives in terms of communication. I am sure all of us have seen most of everything online. People share so much with each other such as pictures, inviting people to events, videos, music, funny things, quotes, and so much more.

It is interesting how much technology and how much of these things really impact our lives and the way we operate, but it shouldn’t take away from your life either, but I really enjoy the internet a lot. It is where I get all my news and everything I want to locate, do my research, searching for various things, searching for pictures, keeping updated on my favourite shows and people, interacting with family and friends, sharing incredible and interesting things, its where I love to write, share my feelings, my interests and so much more. Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Hi5, Tumblr, Linkedin, Youtube and other websites are the tops of the internet world. Millions and Millions of people around the world use these social networking sites and its amazing who we encounter, who we talk to, who we make friends with that share similar interests and beliefs. I believe the internet is not all that bad, but it is the way you use it, and the way you carry out yourself.

It is really important to keep the communications of yourself to your family and friends and the internet is such a powerful tool to do so. I am one hundred percent sure, that Facebook has changed your life and has changed the way to communicate as it is so imperitive to keep those bonds alive, to look at each others photos, so on and so forth.

Last but not least, don’t give all your time to the internet. I know everybody has a life to live outside the internet with many priorities, spending time with family and friends. Do the social networking, but to the limit.
