January 2016 is Behind Us. Where did It Go?

Can you believe that January has come and gone? So quickly. It seemed just yesterday we were ringing in 2016. Tomorrow we will welcome February. I have a feeling that this year too will be flying by. I can feel it already. I don’t want it to, but I guess there is no stopping time as some of us would like. Sometimes we question and say, where did it go? Nobody knows where time goes, but all we know is, that it goes. When our lives are busy and we have so much to do and to get done, time just goes by so much quicker.

This year, we will be having a leap year. Which means that February will have 29 days instead of the 28. All in all, it has been a very pleasant winter. We have been very lucky thus far with the temperatures, snowfall and all that here in Toronto. Well, we are really not out of the woods just yet, there is still a few weeks left of winter, but from here on, I think the temperatures and the consistency of flurries we have had will stay about the same and which I have heard from the meteorologist, but then again, I do not want to speak so soon though. I do not want to jinx it either.

Weather like this in Canada is pretty unusual, and people are concerned with global warming and everything. I know it is concerning and something to be alarmed about climate change and everything, but to me this is great. Less problems on the roads and better conditions. People do want the snow and stuff, but it creates havoc on the roads, and it becomes dangerous for pedestrians, drivers and those who commute daily.

Let us continue to be thankful that we have made it past another month. Some people did not get to. I cannot believe we lost so many people in the entertainment industry this year and also unfortunate losses with loved ones, friends and all that. My condolences to all the families and friends.

Let us be grateful always and count our blessings, enjoy our days as much as we can, cherish moments and make memories.

Have a happy and healthy February and the rest of the year. 🙂 Talk to you tomorrow.

Is 2015 Really Almost Over? Can’t Believe it.

Yesterday, when I woke up, It was a brand new month in 2015. I can’t believe October is here already. To me, when October comes it means that the year is almost over. 3 Months to go until 2016. Where did this year go? It was an absolute busy year for me and so much more until December 31st. I already see Christmas merchandise in the stores, Halloween, Thanksgiving things. The only thing about these months until April is that it is the Fall, its cold, freezing and Winter that I absolutely despise.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas?
I am excited to go on my 13th trip to Cuba soon. I absolutely love Cuba a lot. I go all over the place. I don’t just go to one destination.
Was 2015 good to you? Mine was, and I ended up doing quite a bit of traveling to Los Angeles, California, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, and among many other places, but there were some unfortunate things that did happen in my year, but everything turned out well in the end. Well, lets see what the next 3 months of 2015 has in store for me.
I wish you all the best for the rest of 2015 and beyond.

Picky Food Eaters – This is an Eye-Opener

There is something that I need to address. Everyday it is a struggle to figure out what to cook, and there are those who ask, “What are you cooking today?” “We are eating that again?” “Why don’t you make this instead?” “I don’t like this, I don’t like that”, well some people do not know how hard it is, especially when it comes to picky eaters, those who waste so much food and those who don’t like to eat many things.

People have no right to complain, and also there are so many people in this world who go to bed hungry, who do not have sufficient amount of food to feed their families, malnutrition, and can barely get enough bread and butter on the table. Some people in impoverished countries and in our own backyards struggle with that and some people live off only a small quantity of food per month and even worse starve to death in this world.

I know due to certain health restrictions and non-permissible foods in someones diet or allergies or illnesses, irritants to someone which is understandable, but other than that people should not make a fuss over what to consume.

Because some people have resources and ample amount of choices of food and an array of ingredients to cook with and our fridge, freezers and tummies are always full and that is how picky eating comes to play. In life growing up if we did not eat the food our parents, grandparents made for us, and if we were fussy and picky, we would be sent to our rooms or somewhere without eating. People should not complain at all for food.

Just take a closer look to people who do not have that necessity or barely. What are they supposed to say? People should be fortunate and thankful that they do have that necessity, however some people take it for granted and are not thankful. This is really an eye-opener and our attitudes, pick and choosiness and other Things need to change in the world for the better.

Now to my readers,

Do you have picky eaters at home? would love to read what you have to think about all this.

It all starts with how we implement change in our society.

We Need Responsible and Great Leaders to Govern Our World.

In the last couple of days, On my Facebook newsfeed I saw something that I just can’t undo and  can’t bare the sight of seeing that little boy’s body washed up ashore. it has broken my heart to pieces. Just absolutely awful. I cannot stand seeing my newsfeed flooded with that image. So horrible. RIP to the little boy and his family who tried to get to Canada and escape from horrid conditions of the Refugee status when they tried to get away from life in the Middle East to come to North America. I just cannot fathom seeing those images any longer.
When is this going to end? When are we going to have better leaders to move the world forward in a positive, and happy way with allowing people to live and let live without greed, barbaric acts, cruelty, and disgusting inhumane actions? It has to stop. Innocent lives are at stake and many lives have been taken away for utter stupidity and for no reason at all. Actually There is no excuse in the book to kill others.
I do not think we will ever see a day when we will have genuinely good people to lead our world and to allow people to build a future, a foundation and a life in healthy, great conditions. People should never have to get into this predicament, but unfortunately it has come to that point and has been for several years now.
It is easy to want to become a leader, but a leader must possess many qualities that will help, empower, and be good role models for the citizens of our world. It is easy to promise, and say a few words during speeches in the media, however to keep promises, and to work on a better future, positive, and being serious about what you stand for is absolutely imperitive. Greed, Violence, Dictatorship will not get anybody that far in life. Trusting people these days are so scarce.
Unfortunately money talks greater than anybody or anything else in the world.
I know a lot of us if not all of us in the world, want to live in a better world, that we can all live without worry and go on about our lives without being in a limbo. A lot of the world’s problems begin with the leaders that do not show enough compassion, who do not prioritize, who worries about other countries rather than a leader that needs to take care of his/her country instead of sticking their nose into places that do not belong, they can focus and create a better country with many opportunities, finding cures for disease/illness, helping people in impoverished countries, making sure each person is well taken care of.
I just cannot understand how this world continues to go backward and not move forward to a better future. I know that my expectations of a great world is a lot with having responsible leaders to protect our people, but I do not think that is asking much at all. People wouldn’t have to work twice as hard, they would allow more family/personal time, not allowing people to be stressed out about a fast paced life, having a great leader giving more to people’s pockets, and so much more to a world that we can all live comfortably.
All I can really say is God help people in need, and punish those who kill, show bad examples to our people, our world, and who destroy our people and our world.
What kind of world would you like to see?
What are your expectations?

Blogging Is Something Therapeutic For Me – You Don’t Need To Be An Expert Writer

In this life now, social media, blogging and tweeting are on the rise. A lot of us out there blog, tweet, and are on so many social media websites, and I find blogging to be therapeutic for me. I feel like this is one of the only ways I get to express myself, my feelings and the way I see things in the world. I know and admit that I am not an expert in writing, and I know that I need to fix where punctuation goes and stuff, but I am working on it, but to have a blog, you don’t need to be an expert writer. A blog is a place where people of course express how they feel about a situation, having to share with the world what happens, sharing opinions, suggestions, advice, and among so many things. I feel the need to express myself in my blogs and the only way I know how to sometimes. I like knowing that I blog everyday about everything. I like writing about so many topics, recipes, current events, social, social media, social networking, and among so many things. I am not perfect and I do make mistakes, I’ve done things I haven’t been proud of, but I am sure a lot of us have been through that road and that path at one point or another. I find blogging to be a whole new interface of expressing opinions and ones feelings and I feel great doing it. I just wish everyone understood my point of view. I feel proud of my accomplishments with blogging, I feel good about achieving my goals to strive to make this world a better place, with more happier people and for people to smile, have this incredible positivity and to get people to feel great about themselves. It is very important to me and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I want the best for everyone. Blogging is something that is very important to me in my life. It is something I feel that I am great at doing.

A Social networking guru and a person who is a social media expert once said to me at a Seminar I attended about Social media, is that everyone should have a blog. It doesn’t matter what it is about, it is very nice to have a blog and to write. He said you do not have to be an expert and professional at writing. It is something that each and everyone of us should do. He said you could write everyday, once a week or couple of times a week, but he said have a blog, and make it whatever you want it to be and go with it. I feel the same way. I will never forget the way I felt when I first started to blog. It was pretty nerve wracking at first and I was pretty nervous to start one because I would be sharing myself with the world, and I do admit I was scared at first, but then after my first week, it wasn’t so bad, and I kept writing and writing. It was something I couldn’t stop and I actually enjoyed my writing, I actually enjoyed interacting with so many people on the internet and sharing point of views. I remember how nervous I was, but then now I am not anymore. It is such a beautiful thing. Even though I am not a perfect writer, but I feel like I get my points across the way I see fit and the way I want to portray my blog and myself. I feel great blogging. I never like to keep things bottled up inside and when I blog it is a totally new twist among everything. I have worked so hard and come this far. Some people ask how I do it everyday and how I commit to blogging everyday with daily life, I answer it simply by saying it is therapeutic for me and I look at it like Its my life and a big part of my life. I have received a lot of opportunities doing this and it feels great. A lot of professors, doctors, priests, and so many other people have come to my blog.

Blogging is an interesting world. When people search for keywords a blog shows up automatically on search engine websites. It depends on how you want to be searched and it depends on how comfortable you are sharing your blog with the world. I mean why not? Its an amazing world and I enjoy blogging. I love it.

What about you? What does blogging mean for you? What has it done for you? How does it impact your life? Would love to hear from you.

All the best in everything.

Hello! Wow, Can you believe that May is here already? We are already in the 5th month of the year. Time is just flying by so quickly. As my birthday was yesterday On April 30th, and waking up to a new month, I can sure feel the difference every year. Doing Good Deeds For People

Have you been on Public Transportation? Have you witnessed disrespectful people in public facilities in Malls, on our streets, in our cafes and restaurants? Have you seen such horrible acts take place on others? Has doing good deeds and respecting other people become rare? It is not right to disrespect people and treat others in a disorderly fashion. I have seen many people being disrespected and tormented in public and it is ridiculous.

Let me begin to tell you a story. This was around 7-8 years ago when I last took public transportation to come home from school, I saw these teenagers like myself at that time and I was standing on the bus, and I saw this very pregnant lady get on the bus and these teenagers would just be sitting down and saw this lady come up, none of them moved which got me so angry and I went up to these people and I said, Hi I guess you didn’t this pregnant lady get on the bus. I said maybe you should let her have a seat. Its out of respect. For a moment I thought oh boy I am going to be beat up or I am going to be insulted by these teens, but surprisingly it all went well and the pregnant lady said thank you to me, that I didn’t have to do that. I said, well, someone has got to teach these people some respect and to do good deeds. She then said thank you again and smiled. Her stop came 2 stops before mine and she looked back at me and smiled before she left the bus.

Another story, when I went to a mall several times, I have held the door for people to get into the mall and some wouldn’t say thank you, and so I said OH YOUR WELCOME in response to their silence. I get so angry when I see people that they know there are people behind them trying to get inside the mall and they shut the door right on their faces. Its happened to me before and it is not pleasant at all.

What angers me the most are these young people who disrespect the elderly. Again with the bus situation or on the Subway, you see an elderly person walking with a cane, or just plain seeing an elderly person, I see these perfectly young teens who are perfectly healthy, they don’t even budge to let them sit down. It is terrible. So I let this elderly couple sit down.

Doing good deeds and respecting people is a great thing, and people will appreciate you for it. It is all in the matter of the upbringing of these teenagers and it comes from the home setting first, Teaching our children and our teenagers to respect others, to do good things for others, and to give a helping hand is very important. It makes life go by nicer and people will never forget how you made them feel. Teach your children the good qualities, teach your children to do good, teach your children to respect others. If children do not learn these things from a younger age, then in future it will not be so good. Children are influenced by their families and siblings first than anything else, then it starts from the schools they attend. be a good example and role model. I am not just talking about children, I am talking about people in general… This world would be a friendlier place.

DO GOOD DEEDS, MAKE A PERSONS DAY, RESPECT TO BE RESPECTED.
