99th Anniversary of Armenian Genocide to Take Place in Ottawa, Canada – April 24th, 2014

The 99th Anniversary on the Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide is quickly approaching next month on April 24th, 2014. To Canadian-Armenian community and more, Lets make our attendance in Ottawa, Ontario Canada in front of the Parliament Hill, The March to The Turkish Embassy a successful one with thousands of people, Lets crowd and fill the park by the Turkish Embassy, lets make the march there a huge one. Lets stand tall, voice ourselves even louder.

We need to get out there in the public eye and raise awareness about the Armenian Genocide. Not just getting together in Armenian Community Centres to commemorate, but must take a stand outside Like of course Ottawa, Queens Park, and in front of the Media eyes, gain as much Television, Social Media Awareness, get these news casters to the scene, get us on Television, and make us well known. That is how we are going to let people know what happened. We have many Armenians in Media. Lets get this Rolling…. I have never seen our Ottawa commemorations air on our TV’s and Broadcasting Corporation Channels. Something must be done about that.

The Turkish Ottoman Empire Killed 1.5 Million Armenians, and tried to wipe us all off from the Earth on April 24, 1915, but could not succeed. They also stole our lands and our Mountain Ararat – Also Known as Mount Ararat.

Please make prior arrangements from now to attend the commemoration. It is important and something we all should participate in and do our best. Lets help each other and join each others hands and lets go to OTTAWA, CANADA. Canada’s Capital….

Please see your local Cambridge, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Laval and other Armenian communities to gain more information on Buses, and times, so on and so forth. Lets make this year a big number in attendance. We can do this.

The Armenian Genocide – 98 Years Later – Proof & Evidence of Cowardice Behavior By The Turks

For the past 17 years in a row, I have attended the Armenian Genocide Commemoration Protests in Canada’s Capital Ottawa, but this year I could not attend due to personal reasons that I missed out this year, however throughout the day I had friends update me on what is happening in Ottawa for the April 24, 1915 Armenian Genocide Commemoration March from Parliament Hill then Marching to the Turkish Embassy to keep me in the loop.

Little did I know that in the history of My Attendance in Ottawa for the Armenian Genocide March went into a total new twist and for the first time ever Turkish people that showed up at their Embassy celebrating the Armenian Genocide by killing 1.5 Million Armenians By raping, hanging, and doing so many terrible things to Armenians, evicting them out of their homes, making them walk in the dessert when they got tired, the Turks beat the Armenians down, Killing them, Our Lands stolen, Mount Ararat stolen from us. I cannot believe that this year I was not there and this happens. It is so crazy, stupid and ridiculous.

The Turkish protestors did not have a legal permit to protest on the day where we usually go protest in front of the Turkish Embassy for them to stop lying and admitting the truth to Armenians and the world, and they Lied to the permit givers that it was going to be a Turkish Celebration Barbecue party, which appalled me so much and I was at a loss of words of what was happening in Ottawa. They were flashing their Turkish flags, dancing, waving, singing. This is all the evidence and proof that the world needs to say enough is enough.

Some countries have recognized the Armenian Genocide including Canada, President Obama had promised us before his first term campaign that he would recognize the Armenian Genocide and that it really did happen and I think the White House and Mr. President Obama should watch this video that I am about to post that this should be proof, evidence enough to see how disgusting they are and how terrible they are for celebrating Genocide. It is about time that the rest of the world see this video to recognize what has happened.

How can people celebrate killings? How can people celebrate a Genocide that tried to wipe out a whole race and tried to finish people? How can people be so horrid and cruel? Such a shame!

98 years have gone, but the wounds are still fresh, the murders and all these terrible things that Armenians had to endure in the past have certainly put a big scar and it is felt by Armenians across the world and Armenian Supporters. Thank goodness somebody posted a video of Cowardice behavior of the Turks to show to the world on how these people are. I cannot believe how cowardly they are, and how inhumane, bullies, disgusting, disgraceful, distasteful these people can be. They are being taught lies that Turkish people did not commit the Armenian Genocide Crime, but they definitely did. Enclosed is a video of these cowards in Ottawa, Ontario Canada on April 24, 2013.

So terrible. Next year I definitely will be attending for the 99th Anniversary.

The Armenian Genocide of April 24, 1915 – 98 Years Later

The Armenian Genocide has been a constant struggle in the Armenian Community around the world for the past 98 years. As the 98th Anniversary approaches in April, I feel the need to talk to you about it today. The Armenian Genocide happened on April 24, 1915 until about 1923. Crimes committed against humanity of Armenians by Ottoman Turkey. 1.5 Million Armenians were massacred, murdered, and taken out of their homes, deported, made people walk through the desert and when they get tired or fall, the Turkish Ottoman empire sees them and kicks them down, women were raped, slaughtered, decapitated, stabbed, shot and so much more. The Turkish Ottoman Empire tried to wipe all the Armenians off the globe, but could not succeed. 98 Years later the scar is still there and will never go away in the Armenian Community. They tried to wipe a Christian Nation, but they could not. This issue has been a constant struggle in the world in terms of recognition and acknowledgement that these criminal acts did happen and Turkey has yet to admit their crimes against humanity.

Many Turkish journalists, and ordinary people in Turkey are urging the government to finally recognize the Armenian Genocide and now there is a movie called Genex coming out on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on April 24, 2015. The movie will include Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman, Paul Giamati, Al Pacino, and so many more. Brought to you in part by Sevada the directors of the film.

Annually we take buses to go to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in Canada’s Capital to Thank Canada for continuously supporting and recognizing the Armenian Genocide and being by our side during this pain we have all felt. Even though we were not alive on those times, we all feel it and we are all affected by it as they are our ancestors and family members from that time. Every year we have dignitaries, politicians come and speak in front of the Parliament and every year we do our commemorations differently, Then we march to the Turkish Embassy to talk to the Turkish Ambassador to stop denying the Armenian genocide and come forth and admit their crimes. We will never stop until Justice has been served for our people. We hope that history will never repeat itself.

Last year Google had announced that the search term of the Armenian Genocide was on the top 10 search trending lists of the world and the Armenian Genocide raised awareness of so many people outside of Armenians in the world. A lot of people now know what happened to us and it is important to us to let as many people know about it as possible. Raising awareness not only About the Armenian Genocide, but all the other Genocides in history combined. The Genocide is something so horrible. It means to try to wipe a race out of the world which is not a great thing. Racism and hate does not get anybody anywhere in life. All it creates are problems and more hate. The world needs to learn to live and let live and to love one another and leave countries alone, and help each other out. God Rest all the victims souls who had to be subject of Hate crimes and Genocide. Lets all work together to stop hate crimes altogether and not repeat history ever again.

I Have So Much Respect For Kim Kardashian For Doing Humanitarian Work For Syria and More

In the recent years, we have heard this name Kim Kardashian on TV, Newspapers, Internet and more. I know that Kim Kardashian does not have a great reputation to some people and I know somethings of her past were crazy, but I have developed a big tremendous amount of respect for the girl. Not only does she have her own clothing line and everything, but she does humanitarian work too. Kim Kardashian is Armenian and she always recognizes that and she has said that she is in so many of her interviews which I am so proud of her. Not only does she recognize the Armenian Genocide that happened on April 24, 1915, with the Ottoman Turkish Empire killing more than 1.5 million Armenians, but she took a stand and she is doing Genocide Awareness, now shes helping Syria in the crisis happening now and with Armenian Churches being burnt down and the city being in ruins. She has urged people to help in the crisis and I am so proud of her for standing behind and supporting these causes. She is a great person and I would love to meet Kim Kardashian someday and her family. They do so much for the Armenian community and I am so proud of them all. Especially Khloe, Kim, Lemar and Kourtney.  When I was in LA last month, All I can think about is the Kardashian family and seeing and meeting them, but being in LA for 4 hours only was not enough lol. Anyway, All the best to the Kardashian family. I have big respects and props to you all for standing up for Armenians, Supporting and standing up for what you believe in.

Some Armenians who are famous in this world, do not even recognize they are Armenian and they don’t even acknowledge our race which I see a big problem in that, but Kim Kardashian and her family always do recognize and share it with the world who they are and what they do. I know that Kim doesn’t have a great track record with breaking up with Kris Humphries and and everything else, but that is her personal life, maybe she had reasons for doing what she did, but it is none of my business what she does behind closed doors. That is not what I am interested in. Her public life yes, and her humanitarian work yes, and that is something that I admire above anything else. Kim is such a sweetheart and the best. Also very beautiful, great sense of fashion, and she means the world to me and I am one of her biggest fans. Hope to meet her someday and really get to know her. These tabloid magazines, and these trashy magazines and media always try to manipulate and make her look like the bad girl, but I don’t listen to media coverage. This is my opinion and I am sticking with it.

Kardashians you guys rock!

Summary Of The Armenian Genocide Demonstration In Ottawa, Canada – April 24, 2012

In the early morning of April 24, 2012, I embarked on a journey to Ottawa, Ontario Canada to mark the 97th Anniversary commemoration of the Armenian Genocide. Annually we take trips to Ottawa to stand in front of the Ottawa Parliament Hill, then followed my a procession march to the Turkish Embassy. This morning we arrived to the Parliament at 11am just about an hour before things kicked off at the Parliament hill. In the beginning we were asked to have a moment of silence for the 1.5 Million Armenians murdered by the Turkish Ottoman Empire. Many speakers and politicians were present such as Hn. Jason Kenney, Hn. Bob Rae, Hn. Stephane Dion and more. I had met Hn. Stephane Dion on so many occasions in Montreal as well as now in Ottawa. I shook Hn. Bob Rae’s Hand while he was stepping down after his speech. Then they had to hurry into the Parliament as there is a house of commons meeting that was being held. Followed by a prayer said by Bishop Khajag Hagopian from the Montreal’s Head Church Diocese of Sourp/Saint Hagop Armenian Church.

Many People came out to the Armenian Genocide commemoration despite of the unlucky unsettled weather we had all day from rain/snow mix, to ice pellets, to a little bit of sun, and back to rain with cold, freezing winds. Despite all of that we had a pretty reasonable turnout, but I was hoping for more. I would make an exception if people had work and school that they could not take the time off, but those who would refuse to come out due to weather conditions, is something I just cannot handle. 1.5 Million Armenians were killed and went through every terrible ordeal as possible with blood, violence, and suffering, plus walking in the desert being supervised by the Turkish Ottoman empire and when those people fell and were tired they would kick them down more and yell at them to get up and keep going for many weeks. It is very important to attend this commemoration every year and travel from parts of Ontario and Quebec and other places to get together for an important issue in our Armenian history and to teach the new generation and youth young adults that they will be the leaders of our country Armenia and will run so many things. It was quite a peaceful demonstration as it is always every year. The voices of the dead will never be silenced. We want justice and we want the truth now.

Talin’s Hummus — Chick Pea Dip

Hummus (Chick Pea) Dip is one of the easiest things to make… Here is how to make it…

Ingredients:

Salt

Lemon Juice (Use the machine or the lemon squeezer to squeeze the lemon juice out of real lemons)

Olive Oil

Garlic

Tahini

Chick Peas

Water

1 — Open up the Chick Peas can 1 or 2 or how much desired — put them into a strainer – Wash and rinse the liquid thoroughly, then drain the water completely..

2 — 2-3 cloves of garlic. Put in the food processor or to your choice (have little garlic, if you love a lot of garlic in your hummus.. it is all about a persons preference)

3 — Put 4-5 tablespoons of Tahini

4 — 2 or 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil

5 — Put a teaspoon of salt

6 — Put the lemon juice in

7 — Then add water in gradually

8 — Make sure the hummus chick pea dip is not so watery. Make sure it is not too too thick either.. just in the middle but more toward the thick side.. Also make sure the hummus is not too too salty, just right. take a spoon and have a taste before serving…

to top it you can put ground pepper, paprika, olives, cumin, and decorate it with either grape tomatos, and so on and so forth. It is a great appetizer and you can even make it for lunch… have it with pita bread, or have it with Eggplant kebabs, Pork Kebabs, or with other Appetizers…

It is a healthy appetizer and you will love it. If you have not tried it out, try it out.. you will love it!
