Littering Makes My Blood Boil

There is something, that I need to get off of my chest which makes my blood boil and gets on my last nerve. For the life of me, I am just so appalled by what I see and what I find that is not acceptable at all, and it is called littering. I find littering is a big problem and when I  am driving and see other people driving, they think its okay to toss out their tissue, gum and other things out the window and see it fly all over the place, and sometimes hitting the windshield of the person behind or on the sides. I see so much litter getting off the Highway 401 and on the grass and the sides, I would see a pile of trash everywhere, coffee cups, food bags from Mcdonalds, Tim Horton’s, and other places. I see coke cups, gum wrappers and cartons, candy and chocolate wrappers. You name it, its all there. I just don’t like it when I see this. Whatever happened to caring for the environment and preventing pollution from this garbage going around and harming where animals live and it goes into our waters, lakes, streams and rivers where fish and other animals live. I don’t think it is right to litter at all. I know that pollution also happens from Gas and all those cars and everything, but the more serious issue is trash. I see a lot of it. I mean when I say a lot, I am saying all the time.

There are Garbage Cans for a reason and for people to stop being lazy about throwing garbage in it’s place and not throw it anywhere they please. Its not a good thing and it doesn’t look so good for the city and for our health. A lot of germs are in the air because people fail to put trash where it belongs. If we do not take care of our earth by doing these simple things like not littering and everything, then our earth will not take care of us. Which is the honest truth. If you see someone deliberately and purposely littering, do not hesitate and be afraid to tell them in their face and say, Hi sir or Ma’am please pick up your garbage and put it in the trash can, thank you. It doesn’t matter of the reaction, you just did your job and your duty to take care of the earth and everything else.

Littering is terrible. I hope people will be more aware of what they do. Our earth is beautiful, but were making the earth ugly by littering and not taking care of it. Lets stand on littering and make it a thing of the past and look for a cleaner earth tomorrow. Don’t take advantage of the earth, we all live on. Lets help each other out, by eliminating litter.

When People Take Credit For The Work Somebody Else Has Done.

Isn’t it mind boggling when you do all the work for a company, or when you are doing a project that a lot of the group members do not participate in doing anything, then everybody or someone else gets credit for it? That is a terrible thing. Those people do not even admit that they didn’t pull their weight in a job, task or project portion and being dishonest about it. I cannot handle people who take all the credit. When you are working in a group setting everyone must pitch in and do something and not let one person take care of it. Each person must be delegated a task to do and then put the finished product together in the end.

I believe that it is not fair for the other person who has worked extremely hard for something and who has put a lot of time and energy into something and then does not even get recognized for it and does not even get the credit, award, or something they solely deserve. I know from experience. I was a committee member of my Armenian Youth Group at my church for over 7 years and I was the communications director, and secretary for so many years, and I was the one sending out flyers, letting people know of any retreats, events, parties, weekend camping and skiing getaways, sports weekends, meetings, writing up meeting minutes, going to several meetings out of town, in town, going to committee retreats in the states like Chicago and New York, and being a vital person in the committee, the church and the community. During every church anniversary I would hope that my name is called to receive the Youth Female of the Year award and I would be so hopeful to hear them calling my name, but that never came and I was really crushed then I would see a totally different person getting the award that I am supposed to receive. At those times I was in everything from Sunday School, Volunteering at Saturday School, Going to almost every event possible, and promoting events on facebook, e-mails and everything else. You would think after all the hard work, determination and countless hours spent, for them to dedicate me an award and give me credit for the work I have put into it, but I was so wrong. It was a terrible feeling I got in my stomach and in my life. I was crying my eyes out because of it. I have never really been the same again and I just didn’t have it in me to continue anymore. Yes I am still a vital member in my community and I do go to bible studies and everything, but that same poise and that same energy I used to have is not there anymore. There is this emptiness in my heart, soul and mind that is not giving me the drive to do anymore.

That is why when I see well-deserved people not being recognized for all the hard work they do and not getting credit for it, it just makes my blood boil and it just makes me so angry that hey this person worked their butt off and did so much and yet the appreciation and recognition is not there for that person and who was not honored as a great individual who took so much time out of their life to help out and to make sure things succeed. It saddens me to see it. When people do things for me, and when people go out of their way to work at something, I always recognize them and give them the credit they deserve. I mean its a polite and nice thing to do. Now being dishonest and taking the credit upon yourself is not a great thing.

In general, I do see this happening and when credit is not given, its a wrong thing to do. Like if you see something online or if you see somebody writing something its always a great idea to ask and to give credit where its deserved. I don’t know this is my two cents of it all.

My First Radio Interview Experience With TrikTrak.ca Was A Great Success!

On The evening of April 5th, 2012, I received a phone call to be interviewed on http://www.TrikTrak.ca of Montreal/Laval. A great friend of mine who is part of the Radio station was very interested in me and what I had to say about raising awareness on bullying, and as well as The Armenian Genocide. Then I spoke about My Blog and my blog’s success, as well as My love and devotion to Montreal, Quebec and the reason behind it. It was a great hour that I spoke to Setrak who interviewed me and to his many many listeners. I received a lot of feedback afterwards from friends and family that they had tuned in and it was fantastic. Thank you to all those who listened to me and what I had to say. I also noted that the more people watch shows like Glee, Jersey Shore and reality shows and all the other shows that don’t put a great example to teenagers these days and how horrible shows they are to watch. Instead of more family oriented shows and shows that teach people great life lessons, here we are in the society we live in and all these terrible shows get approved whereas quality and great shows do not get approved. It just does not make sense to me.

I spoke about my experiences when I was bullied, How I overcame it. Everything is in the link I will post.

Then I spoke up the high rising costs of living, gas prices and everything how people are struggling to make ends meet and put food on the table and everything and that is why stress and depression is high above because people just don’t know what they will do with their earnings and the employment places some of them are terrible, and I also spoke about the high cost of the gas prices lately. Its just terrible. I am hoping people can take a breather and stop with all these unnecessary costs and they unnecessary bills people have to pay. Everything now is about money and the more the prices go up, the more people start losing their minds and do terrible things which will lead them to get into trouble. Anyway, if you missed my show and interview, Here is the link below. After a couple of songs in the beginning, my interview will start.

Some parts are Armenian, but I tried to speak it all in English so that everyone can understand….

Thank you so much Setrak for this Opportunity to speak on your radio show. I appreciate it very much and God Bless you.
