Taking Everything Step By Step To The Top Of The Ladder.

In Life, I strongly believe that when we work hard and to get to where we want to be in life, we must take things step by step to get to the top of the ladder. There is no such thing as starting from the top. Learning the tricks of the trade and doing the best we can in life is what is important. Some of us may not succeed in the beginning, but never give up because you failed, keep doing it and you will see positive and really great results. Put it in your mind that you will do this, talk to yourself, and look at yourself in the mirror every morning and think to yourself, for example: Hi Good morning, My Name is Talin, I am going to do something positive and learn something new today and do the best of my ability and not leave things to do today. I will not leave things for tomorrow, because tomorrow you never know what it brings. when you have the opportunity to do something today, do not leave it for tomorrow. Prioritize your life. what is important first, then you do everything else after. Everything in life takes steps, and sometimes we need to take a few steps back in order to move forward. How will you know when you don’t try? We can’t just take the easy way out and say I give up, I can’t do this. That is not a good way to approach life, and that is a recipe of failure. Giving up and saying I can’t do it. Snap out of that phase and take a look at yourself. You can do everything and anything you want to do. Just keep going and doing something that will benefit you. Why put yourself in that predicament? Why make yourself depressed and put yourself down?

Yes things happen sometimes that are not in our control and things can happen that may prevent us from moving forward to success, but do not let those obstacles get in the way of where you want to be in life. take sometime for yourself, think about what you want to do in life, and spend some quality alone time with you and just brainstorm ideas without disturbance. make a list of things you want to do in your life, whether its traveling to your favourite places, whether its something you want to do with your home, or something for others, helping yourself, helping others. make a positive list and jot down all the ideas you have and things you want to accomplish and put it somewhere in your house where you will constantly see it and go from there. Nothing is more incredible than setting positive goals which can help us in the long run. So think about it and go with the flow.

You can do it, you just have to discipline yourself and snap out of negative thoughts. When negativity takes over, things become dull in life. Don’t do that to yourself. Get up stand up, take can control of your life and don’t give energy to things that don’t matter. That Ladder is not going to climb itself. :) So get on it! get into the groove! Love yourself and do good things for yourself. You will see the big change in your life. Just do it! All the best to you! You have my support and encouragement.

Hurt My Lower Back – I Think I Over Did It With My Exercise

Today I have just been taking it easy. I woke up this morning with excruciating back pain, and when I stand up the back pain goes away and when I sit down, it acts up. I have just been getting much needed rest today and sleeping it off. I didn’t take any medication for it yet, but I will be and I will be heading to my doctor. I think I over did it with my exercising and I pulled a muscle or something in my lower back. The pain is going all the way to my toes, but when I stand up, the pain goes away. It is so strange, but I better get better soon. I have my trips coming up within the next few weeks and I need to get better so as I can sit comfortably on my flights and Hold my bags and enjoy my trip. I won’t be able to enjoy my trips if I am feeling like this. I need to get better and quick. Now I delayed myself in my exercising and it totally messed it up for me. I guess I learned my lesson to never over do it and go gradually and not hurt myself. I don’t stretch enough before exercise and that is also the factor. I guess I am my own worst enemy lol. Well, time to take it easy this week and just go with the flow, and do stretches in the morning. I never knew I had these muscles. Well, I am going to keep it short and sweet today and go rest more.

Getting A Great Nights Sleep For A While Now – I am Happy

So many blogs ago, I had wrote about how difficult it was for me to fall asleep and tossing and turning in bed and not being able to wake up fresh, and for a few weeks now, I have been having a great nights sleep. I am so happy and thrilled about that. Before it would take me over an hour to fall asleep now it takes me about 10-15 minutes. It has improved so much. I guess because of my exercising and eating well and getting healthy is the case. I haven’t felt this energetic in a long time. I owe it all to healthy eating and exercise. I feel so great, and I feel the weight coming off and I have already lost about an inch or 2 off my waist and tummy area since I have been doing my pullie 250 times every morning, plus drinking a lot of water, and eating small portions rather than large portions. I am so relieved that things are working out for me and my social life is getting better, I feel more confident about myself, and I feel like I am on my way to a new body, and this time I am sticking to it because I found a painless way to exercise and its working very well for me.

Last night I got emotional and started to cry a bit because I feel like I have lost a whole lot of my young life with wearing dresses, and outfits that I should have started wearing at age 20, but now at 27, It is still not too late and I can still wear the dresses, outfits and go out in style without having to worry about wearing outfits bigger than my age. I saw this wedding dress in a dress boutique on the weekend and It had my name written all over it. It was the perfect dress and I would have said yes to the dress, but I do not have a boyfriend to begin with and that will come soon too. I feel it. I guess all my worry and stress is finally being lifted off and sleep is improving and my life is improving with making all these positive and happy changes in my life to feel good, to be healthy and to have better outlook on life. I am happy! 🙂

 

Weight Loss Is Progressing Well. I am so Happy With My Results

Since Starting with working out and exercising more with my pullie, I feel so much better. I have lost 4 pounds in a week and a half. That is a miracle that came into my life which has helped me a lot with exercise and it is also good for Cardio too. I love this pullie. I feel better, and I am eating way less with good portions, a lot more veggies and fruits in my diet and and cutting back on the starches, breads and such. I am going to cook Whole Wheat pasta today with veggies. I am buying the whole wheat pastas from now on. I kept on giving up because of my lower leg calve muscles, and I have taken everyone’s suggestions into consideration and I have been eating more foods with iron, magnesium, and all other important nutrients, so that my lower leg calve muscles do not hurt anymore while I am exercising. The only fats I have in my body is my hip and tummy. Everywhere else is normal pretty much. I need to get all this off me. I am going away to Cuba in the winter time, so I need to fit in nice summer dresses, and swim suits and everything. I want my 11th time to Cuba to be great 🙂 I feel so good now, and well motivated to do it. I found the tool that doesn’t give me any pain and I am well under way to a new me, a new chapter in my life and among everything else.

I feel like My progress is going well because I have already received comments about my tummy going down and everything. I feel like I have lost about an inch already off my tummy and hips. I am on my way to a new healthy me and Going down to 135 pounds. That is all I need. I do not need to go down more than 135. I can do this 🙂 My weigh in is tomorrow. So excited.

Determined To Get The Body I Have Always Wanted

I finally found a painless solution to exercise without putting strain on my lower leg calve muscles which become in excruciating pain. The other day my grandmother gave me this pullie where you put your feet into this exercise pullie, and then you just move up and down with holding your arms on the bars and just move up and down. I started doing 100 and it is so easy to do. this is my 3rd day doing this, so I am excited, and I already feel my tummy tightening, and I feel my hips tightening too. This is an incredible tool for exercise. unfortunately they don’t sell these things anymore. I worked up a sweat this morning doing 100 of these pullies. it is also helping my legs too. I call it the pullie because I don’t know what it’s really called lol. Next week I will increase it by 10 pullies more. I am determined to fit in those gorgeous dresses, and I am determined to get the body I want. I want to lose at least 10-15 pounds until I head to my trips next month.

Exercising Problems – Experiencing Excruciating Pain

For so long now, I have been experiencing a lot of exercise problems pertaining to my lower leg calve muscles. I end up starting to exercise,, and then comes the excruciating pain in my lower calve muscles, which becomes unbearable to handle anymore and it comes to a point where I start to cry. It is that bad. I am trying to do my best, but exercising is not working out for me. I am going crazy. If that pain does not come, I am fine, I can do my exercising no problem and I sweat too, but when the pain strikes, I end up screaming, groaning, and just start crying like no tomorrow. I do not know what it is, and I had asked a person who works in a health booth, they said nobody should be getting that much pain from just walking.

She said, there must be some imbalance in you, or you are not getting enough vitamins or have a deficiency in something that is making your lower leg calve muscles being in that much pain. I explained to her that it is so bad, that I cannot continue to my exercise, and I just quit like cold turkey. I want to do exercise, I want to feel lighter, I want to look better and feel better, but it is not working out for me. Literally. I am trying to find solutions to lose weight without exercising. I don’t want to join any programs. I want to do this on my own. I want to do this on my own pace and take my time. I don’t want to lose drastic weight every week as its unhealthy. I need some answers, and I just can’t seem to be getting anywhere with my pain. It is like someone is cooking inside my calves. It burns so much that I just squeal and I feel like my legs are on a burner. It is seriously that bad.

I want to get in shape, I want to fit in those dresses, I want dates, I want a relationship, I want to get married with a nice and descent guy, I want to be able to have my life and enjoy it and look good in pictures, and be happy with feeling skinny, but this pain this terrible excruciating pain is preventing me. I know they say no pain no gain, and I know they say it will hurt, but it will get better, but not in my case. I went 2-3 months straight exercising and walking everyday without skipping a day, but didn’t do me any justice. The pain was still there.

Am I missing something in my body? Is there something wrong with my muscles? I don’t know, but I need some answers. It is making me go crazy. Everyone is on my tail to get thin, and to lose that weight, but How could I? I am really suffering when I do it. Its really bad.

Do you have ideas for me? What do you think I should do which will be an alternative to exercise to lose the weight? I am all out of options here. Thank you so much.

 

 

Started This New Alkaline Water Stick Body Cleanser

The other day I went to a shopping plaza and I saw this health boutique and I started this new alkaline water stick body cleanser and I decided to try it out and see how well of a job it is doing for my body. I started this yesterday and I already see the progress it is making. I feel like my body is cleansing very wonderfully and taking out all the toxins. I feel it in my urine and my urine started smelling funny because of all the impurities going out of my system. I already feel the difference. It says that it is good for metabolism, good for digestion, promotes weight loss, slows down the aging process in the skin, skin problems such as psoriasis, acne, and dry skin. I have a mild case of psoriasis especially on my face and today I started feeling better with my face feeling my hydrated. I do feel hydrated from top to bottom and better. I keep using Cetaphil moisturizing cream, but I think I will stop that and just continue with my normal face-washing every morning if this keeps up the way it is.

They provided me with a free bottle with the purchase of this alkaline water stick with the minerals inside, and I am drinking it twice a day, they said maximum 3 times a day. It is good for 1000 uses and good for one year. They said if it is not doing anything for you, you can return it back with a full refund, so I am hoping they are right about the health benefits, but so far I am seeing progress in it.

I just hope that this does not compromise my overall health, but I thought I give it a try. I hope I don’t get a disease or something from it.

You Can Do Something When you Put Your Mind To It.

There are so many things in life I believe in and one of them is when you really try your best and when you do something and succeed in it, it means you put your mind to it. I strongly know that when people try and when people put their mind to something, they will always succeed. It is important to believe in yourself, and always strive for the best. Mistakes are proof that you are trying and doing. When you start on prioritizing, when you start on getting great results for something it means that your doing your best and your not letting anybody else bring you down. I know all of us have strengths, talents and wit. We also have our weaknesses, but don’t let your weakness define you and your life. In order to reach for the rainbow and in order to get up there in life you, you have to try out things. If you do not try and if you do not take chances, you will never know. You can do anything you put your mind to. You just need to focus, do your best and everything else will follow. It is an incredible thing when we set goals to achieve them. I believe that when someone is passionate about something, when someone gives it their all, success is and greatness is just one step forward. Taking steps and measures to do what you like is incredible. Take steps, do not be afraid of taking steps and chances. Everyone has great strengths and qualities. Take sometime to discover them. When you have the drive, the principles and important factors, everything will fall into place. You can do it, you can do anything. Believe me you can. Don’t settle for less than what you deserve. Go with the flow and believe that you can gather greatness in your life.

Be confident, be yourself, and do what you can do. It is amazing and beautiful. Just keep on trying and keep it up, keep up the great work, and most importantly do not lose sight of anything that comes your way. Take opportunities as they come, and do not let go. So be who you are, and never ever let anybody tell you, you cannot do it, the greatest satisfaction is when you do something that others say you cannot do. That is the great feeling ever. Give it to them and show them who’s boss you are. Your ahead of the game and never let anyone mess with you.

 

Loving The Outdoors…

It is that time of year again, where people get out from the winter hibernation and go out to explore nature and go outside to enjoy the weather and everything else. I cannot wait to go to my first lake front relaxation with my friends. Its going to be an incredible night I feel it. I will still dress a little warmly, but I just love the outdoors and everything. Once May Hits, I am usually out and about and traveling, driving more, and enjoying the much needed warm weather we need. Living in Canada is great though. I cannot complain, but I love the weather when it becomes April, May all the way to October. I have been an outdoors person since I was a kid and I couldn’t wait for picnics, camping, fishing, Yes I love to fish and haven’t in such a long time. I know some people are probably wondering, a girl liking to fish? Yes I love to catch fish. Its relaxing, yet fun and also among going to the beach, lake front, just chilling and walking around. I am now doing exercise and when the weather is warmer now, I plan not to do it on my treadmill, I plan on going outside to do my workouts. I will feel it more because the inclines and the levels on the street is a lot different than on the treadmill. You will feel the burn pain a lot more than the treadmill too. I get so excited this time of year after my birthday which passed on Monday and summer and spring makes me feel more cheery and happy.

Winter not so much. I am excited for my first official outdoor outing! yay!

The Diabetes Test, That Came Back Negative.

Every year I have a medical physical examination by my family physician and this year I wanted to get tested for Diabetes. So As I went to get my blood and urine work done, I came back home, just wondering and wondering what my result would end up to be. I know many people with Diabetes, so I decided to have it checked myself. I went to get my results the other day and when the doctor said that my blood and urine are fine, your healthy and your fine, is all I wanted to hear. Since now I am doing exercising and eating right, that plays a big role in not having diabetes. I am so happy and I can scream from the rooftops. Once Diabetes strikes you, its the pits and All the complications from Diabetes and How to control it, what foods to eat and everything of that sort is something I do not want to do. I plan to stay healthy and make healthy choices which I have been.

Be so careful of the amount of carbs, starch, and sugar you intake in your body. You can have it all, but in moderation and to the limit. There is no such thing in not eating everything. Eat everything, but know what your intake is, and what your eating. There are so many healthy recipes you can follow on the internet and sometimes you can create your own healthy food, by making unique signature salads on your own, and cooking different foods with what you create. Health is about getting creative about the food you eat, how you eat it. Never swallow big amounts of food. You must chew your food a lot and then swallow it. I heard it helps your metabolism become stronger and better.

Well, all in all, I am so happy My Diabetes test came in Negative. As I turn 27 years old on April 30th, this is the best present I can ever ask for. My health is in order. 🙂

Great Success, My Weight Loss is Progressing Well

There are a few things in my life which I am looking forward to this year and getting into shape is one of them. I am on my way to a new body, a new me, and a new outlook on the new life I will have when I want to get to the weight I want to be. Today, I was exercising on the treadmill and it was one of the most painful days ever in terms of the lower leg calve muscles which were burning so much and that burn pain made me go crazy on the treadmill, tears were rolling down my cheeks of how excruciating it was and it almost hit my heart. I was not going very fast either. I was just doing a brisk walk and boy did it really hurt, but that burn pain will go away soon and I will begin to walk on the treadmill without the pain and I will see the weight coming off even more.

I am going into my third week into my exercise and my family and friends that have seen me have noticed that my body has changed slightly but It is going well and drinking a lot of water I find is making my body more hydrated, my skin, my face, my hair feels more hydrated and vibrant. I am eating very small portions, and I am not eating late. I feel a burst of energy and I feel so great after the exercise I am doing. It hurts like H E double L, but I am not going to let that be a setback and I will not slack off. As I am on the treadmill I have my TV in front of me, I put music on in my Ipod, or play with my blackberry playbook and watch Youtube Video’s while I exercise.

After I lose about 30 pounds or so, I will be taking up Yoga. I decided to today. I am going to sign up for classes and improve my breathing when stretching and share my experiences with other people in the class with me. After my exercising improves and when I lose a lot more, I am going to join a gym as well for ladies and make friends with others who are trying to get fit like me and share our eating habits, what each person does to make lifestyle changes, the type of foods consumed. I am super excited for all of this. I can join it now, but I want to start out on my own and search the internet, and then work my way up to join the public.

I am patient and I am not going to overdo it to prevent myself from discouragement and I will not give up even when I am in the most terrible lower leg calve muscle pain ever. No pain No Gain.

I can do this!

I Have The Will Power & Motivation to Get Fit!

In My life this constant struggle of mine to get fit and lose my weight has really been a difficult process. I have always began to exercise for a period of 3 weeks to 3 months and then after that I stop. the first 2-3 months my legs would hurt from the excruciating burn pain behind my calves in my lower legs. It was the worst pain I had ever encountered. I mean I could walk no problem and I have no bone pains or pains in the joints or anything of that sort, but whats stopping me from continuing is the burn pain and I would cry because of it. I know that when that happens its working and my body is getting fit and getting rid of all that pain, but sometimes its so bad that I just quit. I know that is the wrong approach to deal with it as it makes it worse for next time, but this time I am so determined to do so to do it for myself and to do it for my own health and wellness. I have so many travels coming up this year and I want to be able to walk for hours, enjoy without getting tired, getting fit and just not worrying about a place to sit when I can enjoy my travels a lot more.

Since this past Tuesday, I started my exercise, and I started walking outside for an hour or 2 just walking and when the weather is bad I use my treadmill, so on the treadmill for the first 2 weeks I will do 20 minutes, then every week I will add 5 minutes more until I get up to 45 Minutes. I do not want to over tire myself in the beginning and just take my time doing so. The treadmill is such a great workout tool as it helps your whole body to get fit, not just one particular part of the body. I also have a bicycle that I can ride around my area and just go for half an hour. that is not until I get used to my walking and lose about 20-30 pounds in the beginning. My ideal weight that I want to be around is 135 to 140. I do not want to be too too slim either. Just right. After my body gets used to it, I will be signing up for Yoga as soon as my breathing and my workouts get easier and I get more flexible. I will try it with the treadmill then work my way up to all the other fancy stuff as now my body cannot take it.

This time I have the motivation and will power and I will not stop to get myself fit and be on my way to a new me, new wardrobe where I can fit in nice and beautiful dresses, where I can wear bikini’s, where I can be free and walk without getting tired fast, enjoy my new body and my new life, and feel great, more positive. When I look for work or when I get ahead in all this, the employer will see how well I take care of myself and that is another reason why. The employer will see how well you take care of yourself and that gives them a sense of security to think that when she can take care of her body and herself, that means she can take care of my company that I will hire her in. I thought of that of the reason why they might hire me or not hire me. I don’t know thats what my thoughts were on it. I will not give up and I will not be lazy and stop after 2-3 months. I will do my best everyday and not miss a day. I promise you my blog readers, my family, my friends, and everyone who has always advised me to get slim and get healthy. I know I am not doing this for everyone else, I am doing this for myself, but I will make this promise and I will not break it. As proof I will be taking photos of myself of the progress I have made and I will be posting in my blog on my journey to getting fit and I will be posting it on a bi-weekly basis or once a month. You will see the new me and you will see how incredible I will feel.

I will feel much better about myself and I will feel like I am in control which I will be. I know it will be a tough road ahead with watching what I eat and exercising and it is hard work and it takes a lot of patience, but I am up for the challenge and I am up for everything that is involved. Decided to Make a Big Change in My Diet – To Cut Out Sugar!

The past week, I decided to cut out sugar from my diet drastically and keep away from the sweets as much as possible, but only have a small little nibble on it. Cutting sugar out is very important because I am so petrified of getting Diabetes. I have read all the terrible things it does to your body and your health. The list has no end to it. A terrible thing since it runs in my family. I have put my foot down and I will no longer be consuming soft drinks, and drink my coffee and teas with sugar. It has all been cut out from my diet. I started getting more active, and now since the weather has changed drastically, I decided to go out for a walk for an hour or two, then if the weather is bad I go on my treadmill. Anything to get healthy, slim and make sure that I don’t become subject to Diabetes as its a very scary thing to go through with all the insulin shots, the medication, the special diets and everything you must follow, and so much. I know some people get it when they are babies or when they are children.

I made a solid decision to cut it out and to just drink water and as well as coffee, tea, with no sugar at all. Coke and Diet Coke are a no no. I mean who doesn’t love sugar, sweet stuff, and everything? but too much is terrible for you and it can do more harm than anything. I am a huge Nutella fan and a huge chocolate fan, but time to cut those out too. I will only have a small bit to taste to keep my taste buds going, but no more than a teaspoon full or less. I am very serious about my health and well-being. I am eating everything but in moderation. as DR. OZ says take charge of your health today for a longer tomorrow’s…  I watch The Doctors TV, Dr. Oz and these important shows so that I can get valuable and great information that will benefit me and my life for the future. Its very important to read up on these things and watch these shows. It sure is a wake up call. I am also going to make a cup half a teaspoon or teaspoon of Cinnamon with Hot boiling water and drink it. Drinking boiling to warm water with cinnamon will help you lose weight too and control your sugar. Anything to cut sugar out. Diabetics can have their blood thicken and it can create clogs in arteries and thats where you can have heart disease and strokes and thats when they must amputate fingers, legs, arms. Very terrible.

Sugar is a thing of the past for me now, but I will have it once in a blue moon. your the one who has to take care of yourself with your health. nobody else is going to get healthy for you. Do it now before its too late.
