It is Almost Time Again For Christmas Movies on TV

I know you are probably thinking, why I am bringing up Christmas 2 months before and it is early to even think about it, but with the time going by so quickly, it will be here before you know it, However It is that time again where Halloween is almost here, and the day after Halloween, is when all the Christmas Commercials, and Movies that are shown on Television right until New Years. 2014 has just zoomed on by. it was just like yesterday we were celebrating the New Year and Christmas, and now it is almost here again. Christmas movies have been a tradition for me annually.

There are many Christmas movies out there, however some just stand out more than others, and I really enjoy Watching Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, Griswold’s National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Four Christmas’s, Miracle on 34th St, Santa Clause, Santa Clause 2, Jingle All the way, The Muppet Christmas Carol, and Jack Frost.

The most I watch though is Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.

I love watching these movies, I make myself a hot beverage, cover up with a warm blanket in the cold winter months, and I just enjoy myself. No matter how many times I watch them, it feels like I am watching them for the first time. I just do not like the commercials that interrupt the movie.

Some movies you can watch over and over again, but some movies once is more than enough, however these classic movies will never go out of style and will certainly never get old. I cannot wait until they appear on television once again and where I can continue my tradition as always. I sometimes watch it by myself, with family and friends as well. I am quite excited for it all. I have fun either way.

The only thing I do not like is the Cold Winter months and the snow, but everything else is great. 🙂 Do you watch Christmas movies? Do you have traditions that you follow or at least try to follow annually? Would love to hear from you. 🙂 Well, have a great time and fabulous upcoming Holiday Season.

Actor Robin Williams Dies at 63 – Sad News

It is with heavy heart to have to report that my childhood actor, comedian and talent Robin Williams died on August 11, 2014 in California of apparent suicide. He made everyone else laugh and entertained everyone, while he was struggling with depression and mental illness. Robin was Born on July 21, 1951. His death came as such a shock to me. I was drinking a glass of Orange juice this evening, and I almost dropped it from my hand when I saw the news. I cannot believe this happened. I cannot stop crying tonight inside and out. I have so many tears rolling down my cheeks. I just cannot stomach this. It has hit home to me very hard.

My favourite movies of Robin Williams are Good Will Hunting, Mork and Mindy, Jumanji, Mrs. Doubtfire, Robin Hood, Hook, Happy Feet, Aladdin, RV, Jack, Nine Months, Dead Poets Society, Patch Adams, and many more.

Although I never personally met or knew Robin, but I felt like I did. I have and will always be a fan of him and I will miss Robin Williams terribly and I will forget remember all the memories and his movies. I think I will run a Robin Williams movie-a-thon this week to honor and remember him. His Legacy will forever remain alive, always in our hearts, in entertainment forever. God rest his Soul.

My thoughts and prayers go out to His loved ones and the Hollywood Family, The Academy, Oscars, and Everyone whom he had touched, entertained, Sad day in Hollywood indeed. My Fellow Fans and I were devastated more than words can say. 😦 Shocking does not even begin to describe our feeling. REST IN PARADISE and in Peace Robin Williams.

I Met Kevin Bacon Before – It Was An Awesome Encounter

Back in the day in 2004 nearly 9 years ago back in August, My family and I were coming back from shopping in the evening and what happened was we were on a busy street coming back to our place, and all of a sudden we see bright lights, cranes, and trucks used for movies. So we stopped on the side and parked the vehicle, and I went up close and personal to the scene and I had heard that Director and Film Producer Atom Egoyan was there producing and filming the movie “Where the Truth Lies” with Kevin Bacon, Colin Firth, Alison Lohman, and all the actors were there and filming inside this Chinese restaurant and I finally know how they created thunderstorms and rain from the outside. I was so excited when I heard those actors were inside, but I only met Kevin Bacon and Alison Lohman and I was not able to meet Colin Firth as he was still filming inside and We were not permitted to go inside.

So As Kevin Bacon was about to go back to the other scene to film in Downtown, Toronto, I yelled for his name Saying Kevin! He stopped and he smiled with me and I asked to take a picture with him and I took a picture with him and I said thank you so much, and he said anytime dear, so he went to the other location. I mean talk about being at the right place at the right time. I couldn’t believe I met Kevin Bacon before. He is such a wonderful actor and he’s been in so many movies, with so many actors and actresses and I feel like I connected with all of them once I met Kevin Bacon. I remember the degrees of Kevin Bacon, so I said I am 0 Degrees from Kevin and then 1 Degree from Kyra Sedgwick which is his wife, and then all the other actors that are associated with him and the movie directors, producers. I will never forget that day. It was an amazing night. It does take a lot of hard work to produce these movies and it takes a lot of man hours to have it all done.

I remember then taking the pictures and having them developed instantly. I had taken the pictures in the other ordinary cameras that wasn’t a digital camera, so I started taking pictures of random things so that I can have that picture. It didn’t come out the way I expected, but it is still something and a memory that will live on with me forever. I have had so much luck with meeting celebrities, TV anchors, reporters and other famous faces of the world, and it happens when I least expect it, like when I was in Vegas how I saw Jerry Bruckheimer, Ted Danson, George Eads, and Jorja Fox filming CSI Las Vegas on Fremont Street last year in October 2012. It is incredible how you follow these people on television and someday you cross paths with them and you are in the same atmosphere as them. It’s so incredible. I hope to one day meet so many of my favourite celebrities and I hope I can have the pleasure of doing so. Lets hope and lets see where the future takes me, but its amazing how I can meet these people. I know they are people like you and I, and I know they are human and they work and make a living too, but its pretty amazing how movies and shows are done. I can finally put it all together.

Have you met celebrities? Have you had an encounter with any famous person?

The Titanic – 100 Years After The Sinking Of The Ocean Liner

One Hundred years ago on April 14-15 1912, Titanic was on its Maiden voyage to New York, USA. The Ship disembarked from South Hampton in England to USA on the North Atlantic Ocean. It was during the evening on April 14, 1912, that Titanic struck an Iceberg which put a huge gash on the side of the ship. It frightened the passengers of the ship and water started leaking into the vessel. As people were starting to load up on the lifeboats, it was only women and children first which really wasn’t a great thing. It should be everyone going on board those lifeboats. before they really were strict on first class, middle class and 3rd class passengers and weren’t equally treated. So many things went wrong on the Titanic with not sufficient tools and safety equipment and the big shots of the ship spoke so highly of the ship, “Even God Cannot Sink This Ship”. which should have never been said. The doomed ship started to sink faster and faster. several hundred were killed and drowned, some of hypothermia of the cold ocean of the Atlantic off the coast of Newfoundland Canada.

I must say I was and still is a huge Titanic fanatic from 1997 when the film came out that James Cameron Directed. It was an incredible movie and I learned so much from it, just watching the story unfold. I don’t know why Titanic is one of my all time favorite movies, but I just like the beginning where things were perfect and things were in order. I used to be such a huge fanatic, that I used to have posters, pencils, books, films, t-shirts and a big Notebook with its photo. I was a huge fan of the Movie Titanic and I have watched it maybe 25 times maybe more and I was known to be the Titanic know it all and historian LoL… I kind of liked that, but then I was also serious too. It hit close to my heart. In 1997 up til 1999, Titanic was my middle name. My cousins, and other family members always asked me titanic questions and I would answer them. Now I still know the movie by heart, but I need to re-watch it again once to just refresh. My condolences go out to those lives lost in the Titanic and a beautiful ship with so much that went down to the bottom of the Ocean floor.
