Los Angeles Here I come for the 3rd Time!

In my whole life, I dreamt about going to Los Angeles and Hollywood, California. It was my first time in October 2012, and I must say I did choke up and was so teary. I Saw the Hollywood sign and I just lost it. I just couldn’t believe what I was looking at. Since I was a child looking at movies, television, ads in the paper, travel ads, magazines, entertainment stuff, and all I saw was LA, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hillsย and of course; the Hollywood sign. I knew where the celebrity central and the biggest entertainment capital of the world is.

As I was approaching the Hollywood sign above the Griffith Observatory, I cried up a storm. I was an emotional wreck. All my dreams of going to Los Angeles came true. I couldn’t believe I was close to all the stars, seeing the Hollywood Walk of Fame with all the artists, entertainers, then ending up right outside Jimmy Kimmel’s show studio set. Then seeing Capitol Records, and all these entertainment broadcasting corporation buildings. Then I saw the Iconic 405 Freeway everyone was talking about. They say that it was such terrible traffic and you are so right. So many lanes and still lots of traffic. Even the carpool lane didn’t make any difference.

In my mind, I was thinking of all the award shows, the red carpet, and I was keeping my eyes peeled and had my eyes everywhere with the hopes that I would meet a celebrity. That was highly unlikely, but It could happen and it has happened.

Anyway, my 2nd trip to Los Angeles was in May 2015, where we went through Santa Monica Beach where we hung out for a bit, then driving through Beverly hills. Seeing these huge houses where majority of them are covered in high bushes and trees, and a lot of the celebrities live there. You would see the home cleaners park their cars outside on the road, and them coming out with buckets, mops and other cleaning products, then you would see super expensive cars. This time, I did see Actor Hugh Jackman drive a black Porsche. It was definitely him. I can tell for sure. Then I looked online and it was true. We also traveled to Fresno, San Francisco, Drove on the Pacific Coast Highway, went to Newport Coast, Newport Beach.

My 3rd Los Angeles trip will be in about 3-4 months from now. I am excited to spend about 10-11 days there. I am definitely going to other parts of LA such as Pasadena, Glendale, Malibu, La Crescenta, and so many other places. I have a lot of time now to plan and I am going to be so organized. Gotta love LA. I cannot believe in just 3-4 years, I will have gone 3 times. I did not go all my life. I am really excited to be amongst the stars again.

I can’t wait to indulge into In-N-Out burger, and also the Famous Oscars Pizza Guy Edgars Pizza. Big Mamas and Papas, and amongst other great restaurants I have heard about. ย I hope to see Ellen Degeneres, go to Warner Bros, CBS Studios, NBC Universal and more.

I just want to Meet Bradley Cooper, Jason Statham, Chris Hemsworth, and Channing Tatum. ๐Ÿ™‚ Hopefully, will bump into them at LAX Airport or down a street walking or something. Now that would be awesome. I can hardly wait!

Our Ultimate 1308 Miles of California Getaway

A couple of weeks ago on May 21st, 2015 after a long wait and anticipation, Our ultimate California getaway had arrived when I went with my Family. We were so impatient and anxious to get to Toronto Pearson’s YYZ Airport to take our Air Canada Flight AC 789 to Los Angeles Airport LAX at 8am when it took off. As we submitted my boarding pass to the Air Canada attendant and as we made our way to the Aircraft and grabbed our seats, we were absolutely excited for the 5 and a half hour flight, which to us did not feel long at all, as we are used to flights. We arrived at 10:10am LA Time, so we had the full day ahead.

As soon as the aircraft attendants announced that we will be landing momentarily to LAX and as we saw the Los Angeles Buildings in Downtown while landing, the hills, valleys, and the beauty of LA, we began to get more excited then ever and then I said to myself, it is about to get real now. So much is waiting for me to discover, my family to see, my cousins wedding to attend to, Facebook Friends whom I met for the first time, and covering so much ground in so little time. 10-11 days went by like a dream.

It was an incredible time when we went through towns and cities, and firstly after getting our rental car, we made our way to Newport Coast, where we stood the night, taking the 405 Freeway, where then we began driving north to Fresno where my cousin got married, and reunited, and united with family and friends, then after Fresno, we made our way to San Francisco passing through San Jose, Oakland, and many other towns. After San Francisco, we ventured out to Highway 1 Freeway 101 which is the Pacific Coast Highway. It took over 8-9 hours to drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles. We made a stop in Santa Barbara for a night, Then we stood in Northridge Area, visited Santa Monica Pier and Beach after that we went back to Newport Coast where we ended our trip with more family time. On May 30th we returned our rental car, then at 10:20pm we departed Los Angeles LAX airport to arrive back to Toronto on May 31st, at 6am in the morning our time.

In Beverly Hills, we were on our way to Santa Monica, where I saw Actor Hugh Jackman driving a black Porsche when he was getting out and stopped on one of the streets in Beverly Hills close to Carmelita Ave with the tall Palm Trees around the homes. All the cars were either Range Rovers, Porsche, Mercedes, Ferrari, BMW, Maserati, Teslas and so many more crazily expensive cars around there, and then there were cleaners and maids coming out of some of the stars homes as I was driving and watching the streets. It was quite awesome to see a celebrity in LA… What is a trip to Los Angeles without seeing a celebrity?

With all that you hear from Movies, TV, Entertainment websites and all the hype of Los Angeles with the home of Celebrities, Music Performers, Directors, Producers and a huge Population that works in the entertainment industry somehow are scattered all over Los Angeles area’s. LA is just so huge that you need at least a month to comfortably go all around. 2 weeks is not enough. There is just too much to see, too much to do. If I lived in Los Angeles, I would definitely be in the entertainment industry.

Now Los Angeles is not just about Film, Entertainment and everything. There is far more to it than just film making, awards, studios, mansions, Malibu beach houses, movie sets, the glitz, glamour, vanity, fashion and everything is not just everything about it. There is so much more to do. If you have never been, you should make a trip there whenever convenient for you.

Now, they say that the Highway 401 here is jam packed and so much traffic. You haven’t seen and heard nothing yet. We took doses of the 405, 110, traffic and that is extremely brutal. I do not know how residents of California, LA area can handle that day in and day out. It takes patience, skill and guts to go through that almost everyday. Highway 401 traffic in Toronto is nothing compared to what they go through on the 405 and 110. I would go crazy with that everyday. People of LA are brave.

I love Los Angeles so much. I am excited to make a return next year. I have been back for a couple of days now and I miss it so much already, especially my family and my friends there. Next time I will be there longer to see my other Facebook friends that I didn’t have time to see. Cheers to LA!

There is so much more that I have to say about my trip, but this was just the bit of it.
Now to take off my bucket list:

– I saw the Painted Ladies and the Full House TV Show house, and Alamo Square in San Francisco,
– I saw the Fisherman’s Wharf, also the skyline of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge.
– I saw the Santa Monica Pier
– I Drove on the Pacific Coast Highway
– I went close to the Hollywood Sign
– I saw Beverly Hills and glimpse of Celebrity Homes
– I saw a celebrity in LA – Hugh Jackman in his Black Porsche.

The Dream to Meet Mark Zuckerberg – Founder of Facebook

Recently in the last 10 years or so, social media has been booming and blossoming like wild flowers. It is incredible how social media is such a viral and powerful tool in our lives which many of us use it for our businesses, ourselves, to communicate with friends, family and colleagues, and Mark Zuckerberg made that possible with Facebook. Mark is the founder and creator of the giant social media outlet and now more than a billion users are on the website.

All of a sudden A few weeks ago, as I was sleeping, I had this dream that I had met with Mark Zuckerberg and we teamed up to build another social media and networking outlet called “SocialCore” which went viral in seconds, which then millions of people joined our launched website within the week. I remember in my dream, I had flown to California in San Francisco, then Chicago, New York, Boston, Seattle, Vancouver, Montreal and other places to brand, market and do many interviews with Mark Zuckerberg to Television, YouTube and other media outlets in Newspapers and more. Then it went global to other continents of the world. It was something so incredible. It was quite the exciting dream, that I didn’t want to wake up, and just keep letting it happen.

Now, with all that said, I really want to meet the King of Facebook, and have dinner with him, and discuss about the leading industry of our world, and pick his brain about this awesome trend of social media going on. Mark and I are only a year and 14 days apart.ย  It is quite amazing to communicate to people across the world and send e-mails, messages, pictures, videos, likes, groups and other things in an instant. Without this industry, I wouldn’t have met most of my friends whom are so close to me now, I would not have had such beautiful and great fans who support me and my blog, and so much more like they are my family which they are part of my family which I am ever so grateful for Facebook and the journey I am going through now and will never stop. Thank you Mark Zuckerberg. I can hug you a thousand, million times. I appreciate it very much.

The Griffith Observatory – My Hollywood Sign Story – Los Angeles

In October of 2012, just over a year ago now, I remember taking my first glimpse of Los Angeles of where the Celebs, stars, entertainment, and everything combined came into my mind, after arriving at the Griffith Park to head up to the Griffith Observatory. It was a sight that is still embedded into my mind and when I close my eyes sometimes I see it appear. Then I saw the beautiful Hollywood Sign on the Hollywood hills and that is where my emotions were uncontrollable with tears running down my cheeks. I started to cry so much that I had to take about an hour to register in my brain and in my life that I am actually standing before Los Angeles, before the Hollywood sign, that I was long awaiting to see in my whole life. It was my first time there. I felt this amazing connection that was so incredible.

Since I was a child, I had always seen Hollywood’s sign, the Los Angeles skyline and learned about California as I was growing up and watching numerous Movies, TV Shows that situated and was filmed in LA and California areas with the long Palm Trees and the California style roofs which was something that I just couldn’t register in my brain that I was actually physically there. I just could not stop crying. I did not want to leave. I was just staring at Hollywood and the areas and could not take my eyes off of it. You never know, you could be looking at a home and it could a celebrity home. So a lot of the faces of celebrities and movie directors came to my face with the hopes that I would bump into some when I was there, but that did not pan out, but they were filming a Ford Fusion Car commercial at the Griffith Observatory and that was super cool to see the movie TV Commercial trucks and the cars, the cameras, and all that. I said now this is something that was so cool to see in LA area.

I will never ever forget the feelings that were going through my whole body when I was there. i kept my eyes peeled of each car and each person passing by with the hopes I would see a celebrity there too on Hollywood Blvd where the stars are on the ground the walk of fame and the surrounding areas. Went on the 405 freeway and I could not believe I was on that Freeway I had known about since I was a kid. So then there too I was looking in each car and it was something that I totally was keeping myself busy with. I did see a Bold and the Beautiful actor driving a Cadillac Vehicle though but it was getting dark and we were stuck in traffic and he was beside us. It was quite amazing. Since then I keep on have recurring dreams about myself becoming a script writer where I would submit my material to Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, James Cameron, Martin Scorsese and other Movie directors and then meeting up with Celebrities as well, going to the top Hollywood parties, enjoying going to the Golden Globes, Emmy Awards, Oscar Academy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, wearing a Vera Wang Dress on the Red Carpet while Entertainment Tonight or E-Talk Daily would come up to me and interview me, then I would get on the Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneres show, Jimmy Kimmel and more..

I was thinking of all this when I was there. I was just sitting at the Griffith Observatory Benches and just thinking about it and talking to the Los Angeles skyline and to the Hollywood sign and just taking it all in. It was such a great feeling I could not even describe it. I was watching this movie the other day and I saw LA and I said Oh my goodness LOS ANGELES! out loud. I still cannot believe it to this day, but I keep looking at my pictures and I am still in disbelief. I can spend all day there and just glimpsing and enjoying my time there, to do a lot of thinking, to go above and beyond, but then when reality sets in. I was completely in shock and passerby’s saw me cry and they asked are you okay? I said I just can’t believe I am here!

I get emotional quite quickly when I visit places and I am a very sensitive person when it comes to places i have always seen since I was a kid through TV, Movies, Magazines, and Advertising, then when I see it, it’s a totally different thing and I just lose it. I will never ever forget the feelings I had and I certainly will never forget how that beautiful view made me feel inside. It was indescribable and I am sure those who have seen it from the Griffith Observatory can somewhat relate to me. I definitely want to go back in the near future and just spend more time there and enjoy myself again, but hopefully with no crying the next time. Hope I can go back there soon. I am going to make it a goal of mine to travel to Los Angeles again. I need at least a month there and I will learn the area. I am a very fast learner when it comes to that.

Anyway, it’s really not about the Glitz and the Glamor and Vanity of LA and Hollywood that really gets to me, and I know some people do not care about it and it’s not something important to me with the fashions and everything of the Hollywood and the media, but just being there was exciting all on its own.

Have you ever been to the Griffith Observatory? Have you ever seen the Hollywood sign up close and personal? What were your feelings about it? If you have not, its worth to see. It is gorgeous. Well, that is about it. Thank you for reading.

All the best.

You Are Never Told Old To Learn Something New.

In the recent and In the many years I have been in the community around me, I have always heard people talking negatively about themselves and age, and they have said that, I am too old to learn anymore, I am too old to do things, but no on the contrary, everyone learns everyday and don’t even realize it. Everyday passing day we learn something new about ourselves, we learn about something new in the world, we learn about our loved ones, and about what all of us love to do. You are never too old to learn things. People always put themselves down and that should not happen. Each one of us are different in how we learn, some learn by listening, some learn by doing, some learn by following instructions in a manual. Each and every one of us learn in our special ways. Some of us are fast learners, and some of us take time, but in the end we are learning and that is something so much more special than anything else. The worst thing you can do to yourself is put yourself down and say mean things about yourself, saying I am a failure, I am someone who doesn’t know anything or can’t learn anything. When you put your mind to something you can do it and you can excel. There is no such thing as can’t. All it takes is time and effort and things will fall into place, but if you keep on bringing yourself down all the time, that is not the right approach to anything in life and that makes you look weak and inferior to everyone else.

Be yourself, and do yourself a favour, don’t think about those who bring you down and your confidence down and those who always have something to say to you about yourself and your willingness to learn. I have put all that negativity behind me and I see clearly now than I have ever before. I have this new profound love for learning and I am working on my dreams and working very hard. With Hard work, determination and confidence you can get anywhere, and it starts with learning everyday, excelling to achieve and attain new goals. I am very excited and happy with the new adventures I am about to take in my life. I am destined and determined to have my own talk show on television, I am determined to go through those obstacles, and challenges and I look forward to it all. You need to go through struggles in order to cross the bridge and be in your home plate with new adventures that will take you places in this world. I am super excited to learn all of this and it is such a great feeling to know and finally find my passion and something I am destined to do for people around the world, to inspire, to uplift, for people around me, communities of the world, my loved ones, and for myself for last. I think of others a lot before I think of myself and I am going to get my own talk show and I am going to reach the rainbow, and I am determined to make a difference in this world because this world needs a big make over and this world needs big changes and I plan to help with that more than anything else in this world.

It will be a challenge to get up there, but it won’t be long now. I am almost there. I just need to find the right connections, the right people and I appreciate and thank everyone who has supported me along the way with my loved ones, fans, and everyone else who is important to me who follow my blogs, who read my blogs. You all are important to me, and I thank you all for the beautiful comments I receive and everything you all have said and done for me. Thank you to my rebloggers, thank you to my pingbacks, thank you for promoting my blog, thank you for promoting my fan page on facebook which I have on the right side menu on top and thank you all for inspiring me to keep writing everyday and going for my dreams. You all mean the world to me and I love you all very much more than words can possibly say. All the best to everyone, and keep going for your dreams and never stop learning. It is one of the greatest gifts of all time. Learning never gets old

A Wonderful Dream – It Was Fabulous – Was on The Late Show Jimmy Fallon

Last night and lately I have been having re-occurring dreams after I fall asleep and last night was just so interesting. I just did not want to wake up, it was so good and awesome. You know how sometimes you don’t want to wake up because a dream is just so fabulous and you don’t want to stop having that dream? Last night did it for me. It was so amazing and fabulous. I had this dream that I was flown to New York City to be part of and be on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and we were discussing my upcoming documentary and then a movie that I will be part of, and acting with Matt Damon in a movie. It was so awesome. So then I was interviewed by Jimmy Fallon and he and I got along so well and we became great friends. So I had flown back to Canada, and a few months later Jimmy had called me and asked me to be on his show again and this time about other things and just coming by to talk about stuff about my upcoming projects and also being a guest star on Hawaii 5-0, then being on The Big Bang Theory too. So That was aired on Television.

As I was heading back to the Airport and I was heading towards my gate to get back to Canada, several people stopped me at the airport and recognized my face and said, Hey you’re Talin the woman who was on Late Night show with Jimmy Fallon and I said, yes that is me, and so then they stopped to take pictures with me, and ended up putting it on twitter and Facebook instantly and I got to keep the pictures. As soon as I had gone to my gate, even some of the workers at the airport recognized me. So I was on TMZ, and in the people, and entertainment magazines shortly after. Then after boarding my flight, coming back to Canada, I was landing at the airport and I had claimed my baggage at the baggage claim and as soon as I was coming out, other recognized me and until I went to my vehicle after being picked up, people were getting my autographs and I was being photographed with fans. It was an amazing dream and then as I went on Jimmy Fallon’s Show, I was on so many talk shows after and I started traveling more on planes heading to Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City and so many more places to do talk shows.

I just did not want to wake up from my dream. It was going so well. In reality I am a fan of Jimmy Fallon and his show. He does interesting things and I started liking him from Saturday Night Live and among his movies he has done. a Couple of my friends met him while at the Chicago Airport and they said, Jimmy is just one of the coolest guys they have met. He is so nice and very personable in person and hes a very chill and incredible person. I keep on having these dreams lately about being on these talk shows. It is crazy. Does it mean it is going to happen? Is there a meaning to all this? Because it is starting to really get to me and happily. I keep waking up with a smile. These dreams just keep on happening without my control. It feels incredible. What do you think it means always being in the spot light? What do you think about what it is? I don’t know, but it would be amazing if it really happens. I would be on cloud nine.

What dreams have you had? Have they come true? Do you have dreams that almost always come out? Would love to hear about them. Wishing you the best.

My Dreams & Aspiration To Become A Host On A TV Talk Show

In the past couple of weeks, when I fall asleep at nights, I have recurring dreams about being a talk show host and having my own show on television. It has been happening quite frequently. I spoke about my dreams that I have had to a few friends of mine who attend the bible study I attend to and to my group of friends and some of my family members, and they said to me, Talin you would make a great talk show host and you would definitely be a great asset to television and to the society of television viewers. I kept having these dreams where I flew to LA (Los Angeles) and New York City and I got introduced to many directors, editors, and people who work for show biz such as Jimmy Fallon, Anderson Cooper, The Talk, Rachael Ray, Jay Leno. I also Saw Ellen DeGeneres in My dream and she said to me, I am going to help you get your own talk show going, and she said that she will show me the ropes to it all. After thanking her so many times, she got me on her talk show, and she introduced me to her audience and she said, we have an aspiring and beautiful writer and one who wants to make a difference in this world. I got very excited, and in my dream I found my own place in LA in Hollywood Hills or Beverly hills and I automatically begun my quest to my talk show.

It was called the Talin Show and the show is about introducing ordinary, simple people who’s blogs inspire the world and introducing to the world many different people of all races, cultures, beliefs on issues in our world, social issues, important issues that need addressing, not just the typical relationship advice, celebrity gossip, but real issues that are targeting the world with bullies, and among so many things and I had specials of celebrities also coming on the show. It was quite interesting to say the least. When The dreams kept happening, and all types of them. One night I had this dream that I was nominated and won daytime Emmy, and Peoples Choice Award, and 2 nights after I had this dream, I was on the red carpet with many TV Entertainment Reporter personalities interviewing me, and I would see my billboard on so many highways/freeways across LA and other states and countries.

After all that happened, I had dreams about making special appearances on shows such as The Big Bang Theory, CSI Shows, Criminal Minds, Hawaii 5-0, How I met Your Mother, Mike and Molly, Two and A half men. After all that happened, Soap Operas such as Days of Our Lives and Young and The Restless called me to do walk on roles and small role plays in the shows temporary, then I went back to to my show. I keep on having these recurring dreams and I think this is my calling, this is my queue that it will happen someday for me. I truly believe in it. In the past a lot of dreams I have had, come true. Not right away but, they come true within a short time frame. This time I don’t know, its become crazy. Having the same type of genre dreams. I did not want to wake up in any of them. It kept going on all night. I think I found my calling and I am going to go for my dreams and aspirations.

Ladies and Gentlemen who are reading this, it is not about becoming famous, it is not about gaining status or anything of that sort but its about me getting into the world, making a difference in peoples lives and becoming a talk show host on television to not only touch the community around me, but to a lot of people around the world, I want to be able to talk to many people, I want to be someone who helps people find comfort, happiness, positivity, and find a place in this earth without being bullied and made fun of. I want to get people on my show who have been bullied, I want to get people who have trouble with socializing, I want to help people who need it. Some have asked me why I need to be on television, Why I need to get on the screens of millions of people, it is because of what I have stated above, it is because I want to do it, its because my dreams at night and my heart tell me so. I want to do it because I am passionate about it, and these dreams are happening for a reason and everything happens for a reason. I do not know how or what or why they happen, but I believe that God has a path and plan for each and everyone of us, and this is my path.

It will take a lot of hard work, determination, and finding the right people, but I am up for the challenge, and I will persevere and do my best to attain my goals, and dreams and get going to a future that I am looking forward to. Thank you to my loved ones, supporters, fans who believe in me. Without you all, I wouldn’t be able to go forward. I wouldn’t be where I am today and those dreams I have while I sleep, I plan on making them a reality and not just write and talk about it.

Thank you!

Envisioning My Big Break In The Future – Optimism Is Key To Success

In recent months and within this one year that I have been on WordPress writing blogs and committing myself to a world of writing, and outreaching to the general public of the internet and the world, I began to envision my big break for the plans I have in the future. I have big plans for my life in the next few years and it is important to sort it out and taking extra steps to being initiative in everything. I have time and time again brought up being on Talk shows on Television, I have spoke about getting myself out there and publish my posts to perspective newspaper companies around the globe and I know I can offer a lot and put my cards on the table to get to where I want to be in my life and I believe that each and everyone of us have a passion in life and something that we want to achieve and strive to get on up there with our goals and succeed with everything we have and putting our energy into things we want to excel in. With all that said, optimism is the key to success with an enthusiastic approach, the right attitude, and having the will to do everything in my power to succeed in life.

My passion is ultimately writing, and my passion is to make a difference in the world, getting my gigs on these television talk shows such as Ellen DeGeneres whom I have tremendous respect for, who has such a successful television show and someone whom I have grown fond of for several years now. She is someone I can get along with, and her humor, her personality traits, the way she cares so much for people, the way she helps so many people is something out of this world. When her show finishes, there is a production called, “A Very Good Production” and that is exactly what her show is and it says it all in those 4 words. Meeting her and being on her show would make me the happiest woman in the world. She always talks about bully prevention, she always talks about very important issues in our world, and her monologues are excellently done in a tasteful manner which I absolutely adore with all my heart, mind and soul. She incorporates dancing and getting the audience to dance with her with including them, giving 12 days of giveaways during Christmas and other times during the year. I’d love to one day meet her and get to know her one on one. She is such a beautifully spirited person who touches so many lives and she has touched mine in words, I cannot even express. Thank you Ellen DeGeneres for making life so enjoyable for so many of your fans across the world, thank you for being with us for an hour on Television, for making us laugh, for making us realize the importance of living life to the fullest. I wish Ellen the best with good health and may she smile, laugh and dance always.

There is so much I envision for my life and envisioning on positive and happiness for future is something I really enjoy. I have had a lot of time to myself this past week, and I have been having these scenarios in my mind and dreaming about making it big in the world, and getting myself known out there with good intentions, with the intention of making a big difference in the world with important issues and the prevention of problems in society with bullies, and other serious issues in regards to the well-being of people and the way things are handled. I believe that I can do something good for our world, and I am super confident with my willingness to do my best in society, reach out to those in need of a friend, to those who need someone to talk to, and those who feel lonely to make them feel a part of society and welcoming them to a new world of lovely and friendly people who still exist in our world and there are some really nice people in our world. We just have to look past with what happens and move forward with life.

Envisioning is always a good thing, I do it all the time and now more frequently. I believe and know that all of us can do the same with our lives. Live life the way it is intended and envision everyday. All the best and I wish you nothing but the best.

What Neil Armstrongs Mission To The Moon Meant To Me.

After hearing about Neil Armstrong’s passing yesterday. it got me to think about how important it is to work hard at your dreams even if it means to reach for the moon and stars. Now, you see Neil Armstrong left a huge legacy and a good name for himself. In the history books, on the internet and in world history, he will always be the one who first walked on the moon being called, the man on the moon, and that sends out a message to everyone to never stop dreaming and go for what you want, because most of the time it doesn’t come to you, you have to go after it. Now, what this meant to me is that dreams can come true, but in order for it to come true is that you must work hard at it and it will. You just have to keep pursuing what you want out of your life. You can be what you want to be, but you have to really get going. You can’t say I will do it next year, or I will start doing something soon, no, things don’t work that way. If your going to do something, do it now, and don’t leave it for another day or next time because that next time sometimes doesn’t come back. What you have to do now, you do it. Everything comes into place after whatever you do and however you want it. Sometimes things take time to progress and takes time to be successful but think of it this way, the more your procrastinate and keep leaving things off, the more time it will take to where you want to be. Now is the time to get going with your plans and do something about it. You never start from the top. Work your way up to bigger and better things.

You can do anything you put your mind to. There is no time for excuses. I am not saying everyone has to reach the moon in order to be successful in life, each one of us has a gift and talent that we can utilize. One person can be good at something and one person can’t be good at that same thing, but each of us have something to offer to this world. If not now, in future. It all depends on how you overlook your life.

I respected Neil Armstrong and now that he has passed away, I’d like to offer my sincere condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those who knew him. His legacy and his mission will always be remembered in our hearts and he will always be known as a go getter who was mainly the man on the moon, and now he is there with the stars in the sky and heaven gained an angel. God rest his soul and keep his soul bright in the white and lighted heavens in the sky.

A Tribute To My Grandfather Who Died 10 Years Ago Today – June 30, 2002 – June 30, 2012

A Decade ago, I lost someone very dear to me and someone who is so special to me, and that is my grandfather Habib Torossian. He died just about a week and a half before his birthday on July 11. I remember the morning of June 30, 2002, when we got that terrible phone call, before 9am in the morning saying that My grandfather had passed away in his hospital bed at the nursing home. It was one of those days where my world shut down, crying my eyes out, and so much going through my head and I was so distraught and shocked at the same time. We sort of knew it was coming, but then again I was shocked. My grandfather meant the world to me, he taught me so many things about life, he taught me the importance of being in the Armenian community, among so many things, and he had such a wonderful sense of humour. I can still remember his smiling face, the way he used to sit, His voice, his touch, the way he cooked, the way he played backgammon. I mean who would forget those special moments I shared with him? I will never forget my sweet grandfather.

I remember going to several trips, picnics, camping, outings, dinners, get together, parties, among very great times with my beautiful cousins, and my mom, aunts and uncle.

My grandfather had a heart of Gold, he was so down to earth and put his family first above anything else. His passion for Armenia, His passion for writing, his passion for being in the Armenian community was so contagious. I think that is where I get it from. I visit the cemetery to see him once in a while, and I kiss his tomb stone and always tell him, “Dede”(means grandfather), in Armenian, so I would say, I miss you so much. This past year or so, My grandfather appeared in my dreams 5 times. It was so comforting to see his face once again. He was wearing all white. He is my Angel from above and I love him with all my heart. He is always in my heart and that is something that will never go away. I miss him terribly much. There is just so much I want to talk to him about, there have been so many things that he has missed in the past 10 years, but he is watching from above and watching over all of us. I love him and I wish there was a way to bring him back, but unfortunately, not. He will live on in our memories, and in our homes, in our lives forever. His soul and his goodness will never be forgotten. The fond and beautiful memories is so important to remember. To My dear grandfather Habib Torossian, I love you forever. I know heaven is a beautiful paradise and your there with other family members and friends who have passed, have a wonderful time together up there. God rest your soul, God keep shining light on you and among our loved ones who are not physically here with us today. One love. One Life. Kisses and Hugs Grandpa! I love you! Until we meet again. This is not goodbye. It’s see you later.
