Went Through My Childhood Diary – Did You Have One?

Since I was a child, I bought a diary to write my most private thoughts, used it to draw pictures of hearts, sun, stick figurines, and more. I just came across my diary this morning. I haven’t opened it up in more than 13 years. I cannot believe the things I had written and done in there. I forgot some of the things too, but It totally refreshed my memory. I remember I made a goal to write into it about my daily life, but I didn’t get to do it. I remember how I used it to draw mostly and I used to be intrigued by eyebrow shapes, so I used to create eyebrow shapes, I used to draw the beach, and the shore, because when I was little at 7-8 years of age, I had taken my first trip out to the beach and flying too, so I put all those in my Diary. I stopped writing and drawing in my diary when I was about 12 years old, and when I turned 13, I stopped playing with dolls and barbies too. Now as I look back into my Diary there were so many things I wrote about my school crushes, about the people I liked, people I didn’t like, and I wrote about how people used to really bully me because I was different then everyone else, and I never used to let anybody read and see my diary. I always kept it in a private place in my room that not even my mom could find it.

Now, I have my diary in one of my memories boxes and sometimes I take it out to just look and see what I have, and sometimes I forget what I have. So its really nice to spend some time to look at past memories and see how big of a difference in time there is. I love diaries, I love keeping these things because its a sentimental value to me and all the memories that are filled in those diaries and memorable things I kept from the past. I still have not shown it to anyone and I probably never will, but maybe I will in the long run. Lets see what happens. In the last one to two years of writing in my diary those coloured gel pens, hybrid, neon coloured pens came out and everyone started having them, so I decided I want some too, so I had a big collection of them and I started writing letters, diaries, and everything with that. I made friends from when I went to Daytona Beach, Florida and they came from England back in 1997-1998, and I started to write to them with these gel pens and we kept writing to each other back and forth for about 4 years and then that is when e-mail came to place and then we kept in touch from then on.

It is pretty neat on how time plays a big impact on how diaries, letters are written, and now our diary is our blog and virtually and technology has evolved a lot since then. How many of you have had diaries when you were little? Do you still have them now? Do you know anybody who still writes in a journal book? I don’t know how many do, but now blogging, and writing journals online has changed the way diaries are written, and to me, nothing beats writing and using imagination in hand written diaries, decorating it, arts and crafts. Although writing a blog online and on a computer also has its greatness, but really, nothing beats being crafty and doing hands on things. How about you?

What Blogging Means To Me & My Life

In the past several months, that I have been on WordPress, I can say that I have such a beautiful audience and I have such incredible readers and supporters of my blog and I must say blogging is a new face of virtual journals, and diaries which can be shared amongst so many people in the world. Now, what blogging means to me is that, I like to make a difference in the world, I like to reach out to others who are depressed, who always think negative about things and who always puts themselves down. I want to assure you, you never have to feel that way. Always try to steer away from things that can upset you and make you not have a great day. My passion is to see a happy world with smiles, and nothing else in this world is more beautiful than a persons smile. That lights up the world and you have no idea how incredible a smile truly feels and when others see it, its contagious. Its a beautiful thing, so keep on doing it.

Now, I blog for so many personal reasons and one of the main things is what I listed above. I am more concerned about the quality of my posts, than quantity. for me blogging is not all about a popularity contest, to gain status, to gain those numbers and hits, to get famous and well known, that is not what I live for. Seeing that my blogs do make a good difference in ones life, and seeing people do good in life and respect and love each other is all that I ask for. I am not up for those famous, popularity things. that is not what I am after at all. I write blogs because it is a passion of mine, I write because it makes me feel so incredible inside to know that people are reading, to know people are noticing me and my writings. Now, so many people in my community, my church, my Bible study group, my friends want to know how to start up their own blog and how to get started with interesting blogs and make it appealing for others to see. Now that is such an incredible thing. Word of mouth or facebook is such a powerful tool and it gets spread around so easily and quickly…

One of the most important aspects of blogging is reaching out to others, educating others and mostly writing what you feel, writing your personal experiences. Blogging means to me so much more than just the writing itself. I feel great when I make a difference in the world and it gets me to know that when I do write those topics, that hopefully it will make a difference. Everything good you do, everything you stand for will be felt in your blogs. your readers will automatically feel it with you and that is such a beautiful thing. To my fellow bloggers, my advice to you is, never give up on blogging, never stop writing. It can be anything you like, just go with the flow, and be consistent with your blog, try to write about a different topic per day or a couple of times a week, it doesn’t matter, but you have to commit yourself to blogging, you have to give it your all. It can be tricky to come up with topics per day, but you can Google, you can find topics of interest, current events, anything you settle into. the bottom line is, its your blog, you can make it how you want it to be.

Happy blogging!

The Illiterate Generation We Live In Today

In this generation, we have a big problem on our hands and they are computers and calculators. As technology booms with newly sophisticated gadgets and the decades go on by, I have noticed that people actually do not know the basic math skills and always resort to a calculator to find the answers or their mobile phones or the computer. Sometimes I see people struggling with basic words and words in general are spelled incorrectly. I know some of my blog posts have a few punctuation errors and everything I am guilty in that, and I am not talking about those who have a hard time learning, they are exempt from all this, but I am saying that the use of pens, paper, and everything is going, and I go to the stores like staples, and office supply stores and dollar stores that have pens, papers and everything and they still sit there and hardly touched. I mean where do we draw the line to all of this? at my time when in elementary school and before that we were never allowed a calculator during a test or when we are doing math in class and we would have to show our work and do everything the hard way and we succeeded. It was a great time where simplicity was at its best and people learned a lot better and kids learned proper ways of learning and doing math and doing grammar. Boy have times really changed. Children these days should be so lucky that they have the easy way out. It’s not a proper way to be educated. I know some children who do not even know how to hold a pencil and I know some children to teenagers who they’re penmanship is like 3 or 4 year old and it is such an extremely sad thing.

Nowadays its now all about text messaging, using calculators, and spell check on the computer, but there really is no effort and work being put in by people these days. Everything is so easy these days. Its sad. These children and these teenagers are our next generation and they are the ones will take over the world someday and its a pretty scary thought to think of the future as illiteracy will be on the rise and that education will not be the way it was and its starting out to be that way as decades go on and more sophisticated products come out to make people be more illiterate. It is all in the way of the school systems and what is brought into the schools. Before there was no such thing as typing up essays, and homework, everything was done by hand, and a lot more hours were spent on doing homework everyday, people did crafts, people did all kinds of things before the computers and all this stuff was invented.

Again this does not apply to everyone. I am saying all this in a general perspective and my opinions and thoughts on this situation. I know our lives have become easier and technology took over, but it is always special to actually sit down and take time to write a paragraph or write something down and write personal letters, and just write an essay or two about your day about your experiences, like a diary. It is imperative that these things be taught and I know schools have people write with pencil and everything, but the whole purpose of children, teens and adults go to school is to learn properly, to learn how to write well, to learn to appreciate the art of learning and to strengthen future, because if in our future decades and generation we see more illiterate people, then this is going to become a huge problem than it already is.

I also find many errors in professional newspapers, ads, signs, in grocery stores, and everything. I catch onto it. Its sad.

Know your limit when it comes to technology. Yes computers and calculators are fine tools and they  are incredible with communication with family and friends, and researching about places, animals, things, subjects, society, but that should be the limit. take it to the limit and the rest try to learn it on your own. again this does not apply to those who have a hard time. All the best to you all.

WordPress blogs and other bloggers have taught me a lot about life and how I am not alone in situations and I am so greatful to them all for taking the time to come to my blog and reply and giving me incredible awards, plaques, nominating me for so many different types of awards and you all carry a special place in my heart from my readers, supporters, family, friends and fans and all those websites of blogs that has my name on it, and among other websites. How I Make Time For Blogging Everyday…

Recently, I decided to make blogging a part of my daily routine writing about issues in our lives, from food recipes, travel stories, stories in general, poetry, and almost all parts of what writing is. I know it is not an easy thing to blog everyday. I know some people cannot make time to blog everyday as employment, life, family, children, life outside the home, cooking, cleaning, traveling take over and that is no problem at all. It is very important to balance life with everything and that is perfectly fine.

Now, I am here to tell you, how I balance blogging into my daily routine everyday. In the morning hours before having breakfast or in the evening after finishing with dinner and washing dishes, I make sometime for myself to sort out my thoughts and I start to write. Writing in my blog everyday is very important to me and I make it a daily chore. I am a huge neat, clean and organization freak, that I tend to do cleaning a lot, having laundry done, so on and so forth, that I made blogging into my daily habit. I spend quite a bit of time with my blog as I do with my chores, family, family outings, traveling, and more. I am determined to change the world one person at a time into happier, positive, optimistic people who can make a difference with themselves and give off that same positive energy to other people around them and in each and everyones communities across the world, so that we can see more smiles, more love in our communities and where people can tolerate each other, how people can get along with one another.

Life is so short to dwell on things, and there is no need for hating, making fun of people, bullying, so on and so forth. I am here to hopefully change the world because I am tired of seeing negativity when I get out in the public. I can sense and feel it right away. I feel that the more I blog everyday, and the more my message gets out to people across the many miles of our world, the better it will be for all of us. I think its an incredible form of technology to be able to blog, to be able to put our feelings, life and words out there for people to hopefully catch on and read.

In conclusion, blogging is a big priority for me, and knowing that people smile, and have this awesome burst of energy and seeing people happy is all the more of why I love to blog and I wish everybody nothing but the best in life. Blessings to all.

In General, Relying on People Are Hard to Find These days.

Trust has become minimal these days and relying on people is something so rare. The world is

changing day by day, people are changing, the society is changing, peoples attitudes and the way

life is now. It is sad to see how once people who promise to be by your side always, and promise

that they will always be there for you and all of a sudden those people whom you thought you can

rely on no longer live up to their promises. It is very hurtful to see people who make promises and

cannot keep them. Especially when you think those people are close to you and who you thought

would never abandon you.

It is especially hurtful sometimes when it comes from your own family or from best friends. I know

that everyone has their lives to live and things come up, but people should not make promises that

they cannot keep. I have learned the hard way. I have learned that when you want something

done right, when you need to get somewhere, you do it yourself. It is very important to learn who

true people are these days and its important to stand up for yourself no matter what the situation

is.

It is especially hurtful to come to terms on how some people say that whatever you have on your

mind, or you want to express your feelings, talk about problems and they say that they will be

there to listen, give you advice, hug you and tell you its going to be ok, or they give you some

words of wisdom, then they do not follow through. Its so extremely hurtful, and they are feeling

you will never forget.

You must learn how to stand on your own two feet. I have learned that in the end the people

whom you once thought that you can depend on, you cannot anymore. It is unfortunate but this

is how reality is. Many times I have been let down and many people have put me down and its not

a good feeling at all.

I hope that nobody has to go through these issues. I am glad I have people in the last few years

that have really helped me through the worst times of my life, but then again those bad feelings

come back to haunt you and its not a good feeling at all. I have experienced so much in my life,

so much rejection, so much angst, anguish, everything. It was terrible once I stepped out of my

home. I don’t know if it was written on my forehead or this vibe toward me was not right. To this

very day, I still speculate, and wonder why I was bullied, why people treated me differently then

everyone else. I have always been belittled and picked on and now trusting people is very difficult

for me.

To those who are going through all this and people who have gone through it, your not alone. I am

in the same boat.

The Blogger In Me

Recently, I decided to make blogging one of my priorities everyday and I chose to set a goal to write each and everyday. I know that it is a challenging task to come up with different subjects and food recipes of mine, but I am up for the challenge. Most of my writings are all about positivity, changing the world and things we can do to make our days go by happier and better. I mean them all from the bottom of my heart. I think that if each and everyone of us spend some time and reflect on our lives and simply do things step by step to make our lives more happier, we can see a world of a difference.

For me, I love blogging and it makes me happy to see that I am making a difference in the world and touching so many peoples lives and changing them for the better. It is my priority in life to see others happy and doing well and being positive all in the while. Writing makes me a stronger person and this wonderful world of blogging is an incredible tool and we can all learn from each other on variety of subjects throughout the world. I love reading online about different things, different subjects and I remember a lot about my life and my experiences I have been through since I was a child. There is just so much that I want to share and so much that I want to spread around the world.

I strive to make deadlines for myself to post everyday, and I do not want to skip a day. If I skip a day, I don’t feel good the day after as I value and put my readers needs first. Without my readers, supporters and people whom have given me incredible awards, I wouldn’t be where I am today and without the energy given to me by these wonderful comments by my readers which are so important to me and you all have a place in my heart. Even if I do not know you. I have to write and write and write. My fingers just start typing and doesn’t want to stop sometimes. I sometimes get pains in my fingers from typing so much and I take breaks in between from the e-mails I get, to answering facebook inbox messages, and so on and so forth. The Internet, Blogging, Social networks simply take my mind off of many things and writing and spending time on the internet is very therapeutic for me. The Internet is not all that bad as so many think it is. It is just the way that you use it.

Writing is such a wonderful thing, and our blogging world, social networking and communication has changed so much that things circulate instantly and the internet is a huge encyclopedia and whatever we want to know or whoever we want to know about is just a couple of clicks away. Its incredible isn’t it? There are some people I live Vicariously through and there are so many inspiring people out there and all of you have an incredible gift to put words together and that is very difficult, but then again we all have talents and special gifts in life and we should never take them for granted. Now I call myself the blogger in me, because I have a closeness with words, stories that have happened in my life, so many things that are a perfect example on why I call myself that. We all have a title in this world, We just have to discover them. You will see how incredible the turnout will be.

So do not give up, and do what makes you happy and find something and never stop working at it.

Laughter Is The Best Medicine. Take your Daily Doses Everyday!

Do you need some joy in your life? There are several ways to be joyful, cheerful and laugh. You can’t always take life seriously, you have to let loose a little, enjoy life, do something to benefit you. Do you enjoy movies? Do you enjoy stand up comedians? Do you like to go dancing? Do you like to go out to a bar or restaurant and hang out with friends? I am sure most of us do. Its all in the way you look at life and the way you want to live it. Life is unbelievably short and we should do good deeds for people as I had mentioned in my previous blog and as well as laugh and be cheerful. Nothing is better than Laughter and Smiles. It makes the world go around. Creating a world of smiles and seeing people laugh are the greatest emotions ever.

Laughing is also good for the body. It moves so many muscles and nerves all at the same time and it does make you lose calories, and doctors say that Laughter is a good way to lose weight and laughter is a positive thing in our lives. Go out buy a comedy movie, go to a circus, hang out with friends and just keep telling jokes all night or laugh about a certain memory you have had in the past, make inside jokes, live a little, do things that make you happy and you will see how big of a difference and impact it will have on you and your relationships with your loved ones and those you care about. If people see others always with a smiling face, laughing, being positive. Its a great sight to see, its something all of us need. There is so much hate, wars, unfortunate disasters, natural disasters, crimes, and so much anguish.

We should learn to love each other as one big family of our world, we should learn to live and let live, we should focus our energy on laughter, the good things in life, and maybe just maybe we would hear good news on our television sets, and these newscasters would spread around goodness instead of the bad. Its been a long time I have heard any good news from these news broadcasters. Wouldn’t it be nice to see good news and more love around the world? I believe in peace and harmony and I believe that we can all make a difference one person at a time.

Have fun in your life, do fun things, play a board game with family or friends, utilize your time well, take up a hobby(I am saying to those who don’t have one in general), So much! The sky is the limit.

LAUGH, LOVE, BE CHEERFUL, ENJOY LIFE, LIVE AND LET LIVE, SPREAD SOME GOOD CHEER, JUST DO IT! Not only for me because I am writing this, BUT DO IT FOR YOURSELF! You will see how incredible it really is. SO COME ON, Leave that frown and sadness at the door, and come and join in on the fun and LAUGH WILL YOU? 🙂

HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHAHAA
