How Committed Are You To Blogging? Do You Blog Daily?

In this day in age blogging has become a big sensation in the world and one of the top leading parts of social media. Blogging is a language where people talk about feelings, promote, talk about products, share recipes, share life experiences, travel experiences, educating the world, giving opinions, it gives a sense of entitlement about subjects, topics, and discussing and sharing with the world our beliefs, talents, beauty, fashion, medical, health, benefits, tips, tricks, and giving the world ideas and introducing ourselves and families among other important things of the world. Some of us making blogging part of our lives everyday, some blog daily, some blog bi-weekly, some blog, weekly, a few times and make it a part of life. Some people commit their lives as for some it is a career path they choose to take with journalism, writing, and blogging for perspective newspaper, television news companies. Some like it as a hobby or interest everyday or when they get a chance to write.

Now, How committed are you to blogging? Do you blog daily? Do you blog a couple or few times a week? Or a few times a month? On average how much do you spend time on blogging? Is blogging a part of your life or is it something that you do on your leisure time? Do you take time to blog even when life is so incredibly busy and fast paced? For me blogging is a commitment, but I do not let it take over my life. I don’t spend too long on my blog per day. Maybe about 1-2 hours a day to perfect, and to come up with different topics a day, then I start to write. It is very therapeutic for me. I love blogging and it gives me time to share my ideas, interests, and introduce myself, about merely everything that comes to my mind on that certain day, following the latest news in the world, and everyday, I take a list and I come up with the best topic to write about, and then sometimes when I do not have anything to write, I just post up a recipe of mine and I do not like to keep any of my blogging days blank such as when I go away on vacation for a week or when I am not able to get online, I do my blogs before hand and I work on them as much as I am able to and schedule my blogs for days when I am not able to blog.

I never like to miss a day in my blogging. When I know I won’t have time to get on my blog, I always make sure that day is filled with something. I love it very much. I am committed to it and its something that I like to give back to my fans, readers, supporters, family and friends from all over the place. Thank you so much for always giving me a boost and I wish everybody all the best with everything. My blog couldn’t have been possible without you all and I thank you all and appreciate it very much. Much love goes out to all of you.

What Happened To Patriotic Dedication Hockey? NHL Lost A Fan

In the last couple of months, hearing about NHL Having a lockout, cancelling pre-season games, cancelling a lot of practices and hearing the owners and a lot of the players wanting more and more money seems to be the trend setter these days with a lot of greed going around. Not just the NHL But everything else. Okay, I understand the NHL (National Hockey League) needs money and everything and it takes money to get far, but this greed has got to stop, and this childish behavior of he said she said, needs to stop. What happened to patriotic hockey? What happened to the dedication and love for the game? Yes some Players are passionate about the game, but greed ruins everything. Your just getting millions of dollars just passing around a puck on the ice for 82-84 games throughout the season, whereas people who work their butts off in real society and reality get minimum wage or low pay. Is that really fair? To go to hockey games in the arenas it costs an arm and a leg to attend the games. Make it cheaper for the fans, and easy accessibility for low income families who are fans of the game, but cannot go to a game because the money is tight. Gary Bettman and the league should open up their eyes. I know a lot of people who have stopped being an NHL Fan because of all this behavior.

Where is the integrity? Where is the passion? I guess that was back in the early years up to the 90’s and then it was all down hill from there. I used to be a real hockey fan, and I never missed a game, I used to go to so many card shows, I never missed an opportunity to see players at different venues across the city, and I used to be a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens clubs, and used to collect a lot of memorabilia, sports cards and everything, but now, its lost its value and I don’t think I can be a fan to greedy people anymore, and I don’t want to be sitting down watching a Hockey game and seeing a bunch of owners and players only playing for money anymore and not for the love of the game. That is how I am feeling that money is overpowering everything and it is not such a good thing anymore. I can surely tell how hockey was played before and how hockey is being played now. More fighting, more penalties, and its a form of he said she said type of thing. I can tell how the old timers of hockey really enjoyed the game, but now not so much anymore. If NHL wants to keep their fans, then its time to smarten up, take initiative to keep costs to go watch the game low and listen to the fans and their expectations. Without the fans, NHL will not exist, and without NHL Fans, all of you would be out of a job. So in order to keep fans happy, listen to them, be on the fans side, don’t break their heart, and leave childish and greedy behavior.

This year, the lockout will hurt all the fans, but even if the lockout does happen or does not happen, I choose to no longer follow hockey and be part of hockey pools anymore. I’ve lost my flame. I hope they make smart decisions from now on. If they decrease ticket prices and food prices at the games, they will make more money and more revenue, but they think the more they increase it, the better it will be for them, but on the contrary. People with seasons tickets, people who have that love for the game, whats going to happen to their feelings? Whats going transpire? Greed just takes away all the fun and all the patriotic feelings away of the game. Money comes and goes, but the fans are the true essence of hockey, without them NHL Is nothing, sorry but that is the honest truth, sorry I still stand with my decision. I am an NHL Fan no longer, until I feel the dedication, patriotism and love for the game, I won’t be either of that to the league. Open up your eyes owners and smell the coffee.
Thanks.

The Armenian Youth Getaway in Kingston, Ontario Was A Great Success – June 1-3, 2012

On Friday June 1st, 2012, around 63 or more people From Montreal and Toronto embarked on buses to North of Kingston, at Camp Iawah, in Godfrey Ontario to reunite with friends, to make new friends, to share, to also learn about Armenian Religion and to learn about our faith and community a lot more. Since this year is the 500th anniversary of the printing of Armenian Books and literature, this time we dedicated it all to that. We discussed the importance of Armenian Language, to speak and write Armenian, and why it is important to keep our culture, and heritage alive. On Friday night June 1st, we had arrived at Camp Iawah, and we began with an Orientation, then we all go our room numbers where we are going to sleep, but what sleep? We had little or no sleep at all, all weekend. Who goes to a Youth Getaway and sleeps right? It’s just for a weekend. Then afterwards we all met up in the conference room and we played an ice breaker game called get to know others bingo. So we had to go around the room and find someone similar to what month were born, what type of music we like, where each of us were born, and when it was all done, someone had to call bingo. It was a fun start to the weekend. After that we did our night prayer then we had free time.

On Saturday June 2nd, 2012, we woke up, had our morning prayer, then breakfast. After breakfast we had a few discussions, followed by lunch, after lunch we did a lot of sporting and outdoor activities such as canoeing, soccer, rock climbing, basketball, and among other games. After all that we had dinner and after dinner we had a strong debate on the importance of reading and writing Armenian and it was a heated one to two hours of it, but we sure did learn a lot from it, and how important it is to learn a new language so on and so forth. After that we had some time to spend outdoors again around a bonfire we made and we danced, sang, and just enjoyed each others company with cookies and hot chocolate. After we went back toward the building we were staying in and we had a karaoke night, it was such a great time. After everyone did their own thing and people were awake all hours of the night. including myself. I got like 4 hours sleep all weekend. Now, I am paying for that.

In conclusion, the whole weekend was an incredible experience for me again. This was my 3rd time attending the Youth Weekend getaway and it was nice to see my friends from Montreal. My Montreal circle keeps getting bigger and bigger and Its so awesome to see. Thanks to all the Organizers of this beautiful and great trip we had. It is not an easy task to plan and to organize events. I appreciate all those who worked so hard to make sure that we all are taken care of, we all had a great time and we made memories to last a lifetime. I mean that is what it’s all about right? Making friends, making memories, sharing our lives with others, and just going with the flow in life. All the best and I cannot wait until the next Getaway. It needs to come back fast because I miss everyone already. I am hoping I make a trip to Montreal soon to see my friends and hang out with everyone. All the best to the Armenian Religious Education Council (AREC) and thank you again for a beautiful weekend which I will never forget. God bless everyone.

Never Let Anyone Bring You & What Your Passionate About Down

Today, I had a battle with someone on my Facebook friend’s list who should have never been a friend at all in the first place, who criticized me and sarcastically asked me a snide question which I really didn’t like on why I have to post about a retreat Armenian seminar I am going to this weekend 10 times? I can sense the sarcasm instantly with the tone of the way the wording was and how it was brought to my attention. Well, it is obvious and she should have common sense that not everyone sees something instantly on their news feeds on Facebook, so I need to keep promoting it because there have been times where people don’t see what I post. I mean, last time I checked it is my Facebook, and its not like I am posting anything bad. I can post what I like, and post anything that I want. I do not need anyone’s approval or permission to post what I am passionate about and what I am devoted to.

Never let others dictate your life, never let others decide what you like and don’t like. I am passionate about Taking care of my house, taking care of my family, My friends,  and I love the Highway 401 East in Ontario, Canada, Montreal, Transport Trucks, Traveling, Driving, Cooking, Cleaning, I am also passionate and dedicated to making the world a better place with no bullying, with no hate, with loving each other, with happiness, positivity, optimism, enthusiasm about life and everything that is beautiful about this world with the people in it. I will not let somebody tell me what I should and should not like, and I am not going to let another persons jealousy take over me. That girl is obviously so jealous of me and what I stand for and what my beliefs are and she is so intimidated by me. Those are types of people that are not true friends to me. I had to delete her off my friends list today. It came to that point where I drew the line, that she crossed over big time. One little snide comment can mean a bigger thing and she wanted to say in such a fashion not to offend me in anyway, but I know where she is going with that and I knew she meant it the way I know she meant it.

One thing I cannot stand is sarcastic snide remarks. I believe everyone is free to like what they like, and if people have that problem, then they should not be your friends in the first place. People should accept you for who you are, and not what you like. Today I just got so tired and had to put my foot down. She did not message me privately about it, she had to write it on my Facebook feed for everyone to see, but My good friends and my family backed me up big time, and I want to thank those individuals for helping me through this ordeal today. I deleted the whole conversation, I deleted her off my friends list. I do not need people like her burning me like that and making cruel remarks. If someone appreciates you for you and supports you in everything, that is a person to keep. I am so glad I had to do what I had to do today. It was as easy as one click, and poof gone. I said enough is enough. I had to put my foot down. I couldn’t handle it anymore. I need to review my friends list and spend a couple of days analyzing those who are worth to keep on my friends list and who are not.

I am just so tired of people bringing me down with the things I like. The things I like are not bad. Who would have thought liking a highway, traveling, cooking, cleaning, Montreal, Transport Trucks and trucking, Driving and other things I like would be so bad and people having a problem with it? I mean what in the heck is wrong with society? Yet people like bad influence shows, yet people become fans of shows that are such a disgrace to society like Glee, Jersey Shore, and all those shows that are on Television nowadays. People are passionate about that and I just don’t understand why people think they are even great things to watch? And yet the things I like get put down. I mean yes, everyone is entitled to like what they want to like, but again nobody should be bullied and nobody should receive snide remarks.

I needed to get this off my chest tonight. It really made my day gray, but my family and friends helped me get through it today and I feel better tonight. Thanks everyone.

I love you!
