Bloggers are just as Important as Journalists

In recent years now, technology, social media and ways to communicate with the world have advanced so much. Today writers, journalists, and bloggers have discovered a way to get our feelings, points, experiences, current events, society and education across the world. That is sharing a virtual journal and diary so the world of people can read what we write. I am sure there are still people in this world that do have a hand written journal and keep contributing to it.

Now, I have come across some statuses on Facebook and other means of social media that what bloggers say is not as important as an educated journalist says that has been published in major newsletter and newspaper publications, news broadcasting sites and more. I find that to be very offensive, and so terribly rude of them to even have the audacity to write those things.

Some of us bloggers and those who contribute to social media may not be educated in journalism or some sort of writing programs, but that does not necessarily mean that we do not have a voice and that we do not matter. We are as important as a professional journalist. We also have the right to write what we feel, and nobody is better than the next person. We all have our writing styles, our abilities to share our words, thoughts, experiences, society, news, and updates about our lives and what influences us.

We also have that right to be published in major newspapers when we submit our craft to them. Just because a person has a diploma, certificate that only gets accepted in them doesn’t mean that they are more important than a person who does not possess them. When I e-mail some newspaper publications, they will not even look at me, but then I say you know what? It is their loss for not giving me that chance.

It is not about being famous, putting my name on the map of the world that people will recognize, it is mostly about getting my word across, and feeling great about it that I made someone’s day, that I inspired, educated and gave insight to somebody else who looks for a certain type of information whether it be about a school project, generalizing, and even educating one’s self about anything their heart desires to look up.

Bloggers somehow seem to have a bad rap because we tend to get more personal with our craft and that a blog is not a writing style, but merely an article that is meant for grade school and high school level that English teachers give to students to complete a creative writing assignment.

I am not saying that journalists with a diploma do not have a talent and who are not great at what they do, That is not my intention to say at all. I am saying that we bloggers and of course, journalists all have something to give out and have worked hard to get up there in the world and success is always under construction and improving, and getting up on that ladder will never end. Bloggers too! Even those who just joined the writing and blogging world. No matter how new or advanced we are, we still matter and what we do as well.

Not a lot of people can do what we do, not a lot of people can put words, sentences and phrases like we can, and they look up to us and want to read, get insight, and want us to contribute to their lives and what they are feeling or thinking about at the moment, but do not have the means to share it in writing.

I think that out of the many people who do write blogs on a daily, weekly or monthly basis have a talent, and we must utilize it. We do not have to prove to anyone anything in our craft, but just to shine what has been instilled in us. We all have a talent that we need to shine through and contribute to the world, and if writing and blogging your talent, and if you feel accomplished and good about yourself at the end of the day, then you have done your job. Never give up your passion and never let others rain on your parade. Best wishes to you on your important blogging journey.

Violence and Gun Violence – When Will it Stop?

In recent news, where the unfortunate happened at an Oregon College in US, where gunman Chris Harper took the lives of 9 people, shooting and killing them when after the suspect was also killed. So many senseless and inhumane acts of violence, and gun violence. When is it going to stop? Does the unimaginable have to happen, so that we can see change, take preventative safety and security measures? So many shootings and killings have happened in the last little while.

Columbine, Sandy Hook, African American Church in Charleston S.C, Aurora Colo Movie theatre, TV news Reporter Alison Parker and her partner Adam ward and Alison who was interviewing Vicki Gardner in August, 2015 who survived at Lake Moneta, Malls, Shopping Plaza’s, on the streets, and anywhere else. You are really not safe anywhere in this world anymore.

Not only in US, but around the world. I can’t even imagine how someone can have the thrill of shooting and killing innocent lives or anyone for that matter. It needs to stop. I know it is easy to say that, but to act on it is a different story. I know the solution. Stop with the wars in the world, initiating violence, stopping on influencing killings of anybody at any age, Absolutely 0 Tolerance on bullying physically and emotionally, putting more supervision in schools, workplaces and other places, taking guns off our streets, educate people that violence, barbaric acts and gun violence is not a joke, nor a thrill. It is a dangerous act that can lead to permanent damage and even worse, can kill someone.

People who lead our world, Presidents, Prime Ministers, and those who govern our world, need to really think about what they are doing, the pressures they put on people, initiating wars, sending innocent troops who have loved ones they leave for years and many months, sending war weapons and vehicles, not taking care of their own countries and people to live and let live. They need to be positive influencers in our lives and they need to make great and positive changes, we need leaders to govern our world who will do it because they want to, and they need to be personable, loving, kind, respectful and do great things for our people and in our world, to make it a better place for all of us. That is a leader. Not someone who is greedy and who promotes violence.

Violent video games of guns and violence also influence as well. Some people who play them may think, hey, if they can shoot and kill people in a video game, they say we can try it in reality and see what happens.

Also, some people get bullied so much physically and emotionally that one day they may reach out to guns and officially snap and kill people uncontrollably at the environment that they were bullied and abused. It all starts with the way people are brought up and who influences them to think its okay to bully others, who promote violence, mental and domestic abuse, allowing them to treat others terribly.

So many people go through so many things in life and we must help them. Include people in our circle, respect each other, give a helping hand, an ear to listen, be kind to one another, love each other, smile, give kind gestures and be the change in the world. Many people want change, but it all starts with how our actions, words that need to be positive, to be great role models, to initiate goodness, not talking behind people’s backs, spreading rumors, to stop making fun of others for the way they look, to stop judging and gossiping about people and things we really know nothing about.

I am absolutely heartbroken and devastated for the victims families, friends, colleagues. Senseless deaths and loss of innocence is so terrible. So many lives that could make a difference in our world, who had so much more life to live, who those people were important and loved by others, families and friend circles that will never be the same again, the grief, mourning and the loss is just completely unbearable. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has lost loved ones due to another person’s disgusting and barbaric acts.

It needs to stop and it needs to stop now.

99th Anniversary of Armenian Genocide to Take Place in Ottawa, Canada – April 24th, 2014

The 99th Anniversary on the Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide is quickly approaching next month on April 24th, 2014. To Canadian-Armenian community and more, Lets make our attendance in Ottawa, Ontario Canada in front of the Parliament Hill, The March to The Turkish Embassy a successful one with thousands of people, Lets crowd and fill the park by the Turkish Embassy, lets make the march there a huge one. Lets stand tall, voice ourselves even louder.

We need to get out there in the public eye and raise awareness about the Armenian Genocide. Not just getting together in Armenian Community Centres to commemorate, but must take a stand outside Like of course Ottawa, Queens Park, and in front of the Media eyes, gain as much Television, Social Media Awareness, get these news casters to the scene, get us on Television, and make us well known. That is how we are going to let people know what happened. We have many Armenians in Media. Lets get this Rolling…. I have never seen our Ottawa commemorations air on our TV’s and Broadcasting Corporation Channels. Something must be done about that.

The Turkish Ottoman Empire Killed 1.5 Million Armenians, and tried to wipe us all off from the Earth on April 24, 1915, but could not succeed. They also stole our lands and our Mountain Ararat – Also Known as Mount Ararat.

Please make prior arrangements from now to attend the commemoration. It is important and something we all should participate in and do our best. Lets help each other and join each others hands and lets go to OTTAWA, CANADA. Canada’s Capital….

Please see your local Cambridge, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Laval and other Armenian communities to gain more information on Buses, and times, so on and so forth. Lets make this year a big number in attendance. We can do this.

The Armenian Genocide – 98 Years Later – Proof & Evidence of Cowardice Behavior By The Turks

For the past 17 years in a row, I have attended the Armenian Genocide Commemoration Protests in Canada’s Capital Ottawa, but this year I could not attend due to personal reasons that I missed out this year, however throughout the day I had friends update me on what is happening in Ottawa for the April 24, 1915 Armenian Genocide Commemoration March from Parliament Hill then Marching to the Turkish Embassy to keep me in the loop.

Little did I know that in the history of My Attendance in Ottawa for the Armenian Genocide March went into a total new twist and for the first time ever Turkish people that showed up at their Embassy celebrating the Armenian Genocide by killing 1.5 Million Armenians By raping, hanging, and doing so many terrible things to Armenians, evicting them out of their homes, making them walk in the dessert when they got tired, the Turks beat the Armenians down, Killing them, Our Lands stolen, Mount Ararat stolen from us. I cannot believe that this year I was not there and this happens. It is so crazy, stupid and ridiculous.

The Turkish protestors did not have a legal permit to protest on the day where we usually go protest in front of the Turkish Embassy for them to stop lying and admitting the truth to Armenians and the world, and they Lied to the permit givers that it was going to be a Turkish Celebration Barbecue party, which appalled me so much and I was at a loss of words of what was happening in Ottawa. They were flashing their Turkish flags, dancing, waving, singing. This is all the evidence and proof that the world needs to say enough is enough.

Some countries have recognized the Armenian Genocide including Canada, President Obama had promised us before his first term campaign that he would recognize the Armenian Genocide and that it really did happen and I think the White House and Mr. President Obama should watch this video that I am about to post that this should be proof, evidence enough to see how disgusting they are and how terrible they are for celebrating Genocide. It is about time that the rest of the world see this video to recognize what has happened.

How can people celebrate killings? How can people celebrate a Genocide that tried to wipe out a whole race and tried to finish people? How can people be so horrid and cruel? Such a shame!

98 years have gone, but the wounds are still fresh, the murders and all these terrible things that Armenians had to endure in the past have certainly put a big scar and it is felt by Armenians across the world and Armenian Supporters. Thank goodness somebody posted a video of Cowardice behavior of the Turks to show to the world on how these people are. I cannot believe how cowardly they are, and how inhumane, bullies, disgusting, disgraceful, distasteful these people can be. They are being taught lies that Turkish people did not commit the Armenian Genocide Crime, but they definitely did. Enclosed is a video of these cowards in Ottawa, Ontario Canada on April 24, 2013.

So terrible. Next year I definitely will be attending for the 99th Anniversary.

Beyonce’s Lip Syncing During President Obama’s Inauguration – No Big Deal

A few days ago during President Barack Obama’s Inauguration celebrations that took place in Washington DC, There were several performers, floats, parades and honouring Martin Luther King on his day, President and First lady dance, among parties, gatherings, and everything else, and it was such a beautiful day honouring The presidents second term into Office. I wish him all the best and congratulations on being the USA President once again, However something has been in the media that I am not really thrilled about and that is poking fun at Beyonce and her Lip Syncing. I know that it is not right to Lip Sync, but that shouldn’t give the right for people to really concentrate on what she did during the ceremonies and the celebration. It doesn’t really matter if she lip synced or not.

Now this day in age the media is so revolved around really pointless things that happen and what celebrities do and how they do it and sometimes its just way too much to really concentrate on bogus and pointless things that cause drama, and that cause the public and media to go haywire and memes, postings, statuses, tweets and other things that are not good and its not cool. I think this world is facing a lot more challenges, problems and issues that media must take control on. Not some Lip syncing performance. Lets focus on getting guns out of our schools, streets, and out of peoples reach, as President Obama had stated and in our society, lets focus on putting 0 Tolerance on bullying, lets focus on stopping wars, lets focus on important things that our society is in dire need of a makeover with all these terrible issues going on, and pointless and terrible crimes committed against humanity. That is what we should focus on changing, fixing and raising awareness on. Not when a celebrity lip syncs. It is very ridiculous and absolutely absurd. The media is what makes celebrities on their flaws and on their highest and lowest moments and when the media gets too involved in their lives, that is what gets them their paycheck to cover news stories that are absolutely ridiculous no matter what it is, no matter how it sounds.

I think it is time to leave these things alone and do something about society, violence, and serious issues. It is very important. Beyonce, don’t worry you did an excellent job and you are an incredible, talented performer and I support you every step of the way. Job well done and congratulations. It was a lovely inauguration. All the best to the next 4 years in office and lets make these changes on society.

Thoughts & Prayers Go Out To The Victims Of The Newtown, Connecticut Shootings Mass Killings

In this day in age, no where is safe anymore. Unfortunately this society and this world is being filled with hate, violence, and easy access to weapons. It tore my heart when I heard about this travesty and this terrible news. I just couldn’t believe how someone would go to a school, kill his own innocent mother, then take the lives of innocent children and adults who go to that school at Sunny Hook. I just can’t believe the nerve of some people. They are saying he has a mental disorder, but don’t you think that is a trend? People who murder and do terrible things to others, and then they say, they are not sane, and they didn’t know what they were doing? I know this 24 year old was very aware of what he did and how he got a gun and shot over 50 rounds is beyond me. There is something that doesn’t meet the eye here. How can people be so horrid? How can people be so violent? This society needs a big time make over. Families are ripped apart now, and especially just before Christmas too. It is a crazy world we live in. Crime can happen in our own backyards. It can happen anywhere where you least expect it. This is Columbine all over again. Not enough is being done to prevent shootings, killings and committing crimes. I know this will always happen unfortunately, but it shouldn’t. Time to crack down on severe punishment and enforce the death penalty to idiots like this who go shooting kids and teachers and a principal.

It is beyond disgusting and inhumane. There was this really clever and moving t-shirt I read online yesterday saying “Dear God, Why do you allow so much violence in our schools? A Concerned Student — Dear Concerned Student, I am not allowed in Schools, GOD – “. Now this is such a powerful thing. My mouth was wide open when I read this quote. It is so right and it applies to everything. People of any age are being influenced by violence, all these video games, and these violent shows, movies, and knowing how easy it is to obtain a weapon is something so ridiculous and things need to change. Society needs to change. The way the government handles punishment should change big time. You do the crime, you do the time. it is that simple. How can some people sleep at night? How can people be so cruel? It is something that I cannot put to words. These inexcusable acts, its such a disgrace to humanity. I have officially lost faith in humanity. I end up regaining my faith in humanity and then again I lose it. Its been happening frequently in the last few months, but since learning about the Newtown, Connecticut killings, is something I cannot stomach. These lives have been lost by senseless and idiotic person who found the thrill of killing other people.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and victims families during this horrific, difficult times in their lives losing loved ones, and children. It makes me sick to my stomach. I cried so much the other day and inside me just ached with pain and I just can’t imagine what the families and friends of those killed are going through right now. I am on your side and you all are on my mind and in my heart. I just cannot bare it. It is terrible. My condolences. Lets work together to stop hating, and start loving and appreciating each other without the act of violence and terror. God rest the souls of those who died.

Postponing The US Elections Should Happen Out Of Respect To The Hurricane Sandy Victims

In the last few days since Hurricane Sandy happened, and with so many people without homes, power, destroyed homes, and all the damage that has been done, I believe that President Obama and Governor Romney need to address the Hurricane Issue more and focus on that on what is important than an election right now. The right and good thing to do right now is to postpone the November 4th elections. Leave it for a later date. Right now hurricane stricken victims need their help and if President Obama and Governor Romney decide to postpone it and actually reach out to those in need and get help for them, then that would mean everything to the people and that would mean so much more than an election right now. Voting can wait I believe and it would be the right thing to do. A lot of people are affected by this hurricane, lots of families, and people without power, and where are all these people going to vote? There probably was so many voting poll stations in the east coast and it all got washed away or flooded and I think it is not fair for US citizens who cannot have access to voting right now and those who want to vote. I think it is common decency and common sense. Focus on the disaster that has struck the country and then think about voting numbers. President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney get on television to address the Hurricane Sandy which is a good thing they did, but I would like to hear that the election will be postponed for a while and getting aid out to those who need it.

What do you all think about that? Do you think its a good idea to postpone it? Do you think they need to get on Television and tell the people that, we are postponing the elections until next year or until further notice? I think it should be done.

My Public Speaking Experiences – I Love Public Speaking

Since I was a little girl at 9 years of age, I remember doing my first public speaking at my elementary school during school mass participating in the prayer, and among volunteering to speak up in front of large audiences. Since then, I began to love public speaking. As I grew up and went to high school it was repeated. I always volunteered to give awards to other students and I would always give speeches on behalf of the groups because others were so shy to do so. So, my public speaking even furthered after finishing high school and college. I began public speaking, doing public relations, being a communications director in the Armenian church youth committees I have been with in the past, as well as when I volunteered at the Armenian Saturday School. I grew this sense of ability to speak in front of large crowds, and present awards and other things to people while so many are watching me. It feels amazing. I can remember a time when I did public speaking for more than 10 minutes. I had written a huge article, and presented it in Montreal and in Kingston, Ontario for Armenian Youth Joint meetings, sports weekends with the priests, youth, other clergy members and other visitors in the meeting. It was an amazing feeling.

Now, I know your probably asking, were you nervous at all? Were you shaking? Was your heart beating quickly? Well, in the beginning yes, but as I went on to do more and more of it, I didn’t have all that happening to me anymore. It was as natural as can be. I pretended like I was talking to myself in the mirror, and I felt like there was nobody in front of me even though there was and I would pause and look at the crowd for a couple of seconds, then back to my speech I read to everyone. It was such a beautiful thing to see how everyone’s eyes were looking at me and how it was lovely. I remember after a Palm Sunday luncheon, I had done a full page or two of a speech I had written and after that, I had received a huge applause from the audience and it was super special to me. I love outreaching to people and talking to people in a public setting. It makes me feel great always.

Now, I never give up and opportunity to do public speaking and among going up there and taking group photos and among everything. I love making that connection with people and knowing that and seeing that people actually are engaging into my speakings, makes me feel more incredible, which is why I want to go to schools, I want to do motivational and inspirational speeches especially to the young crowd and especially to those who really need it. I always here if you need, and I am always here to come out and do them for schools, institutions, among other places in need. I am your woman 🙂

Thank you and I wish you the best. Have you done public speaking before? How did you feel about it? How was your reaction to it after?

To All The Victims Of Violence, My Deepest Condolences To All

Hi Everyone, my heart is heavy, my thoughts and prayers are with what has been happening on the news with all these shootings were hearing about and the unfortunate things that has happened in Colorado, and I am so sorry to the families and to all those people who had to go through that terrible ordeal by just going to watch a movie at the theatre and someone comes in and shoots fire. My condolences first of all to all the victims who have died from this terrible crime to humanity. Toronto has also had terrible shootings everywhere, and among other places. The more the crime punishments are not severe, the more people will commit crimes thinking its a slap on the wrist. More crime prevention must be done and the way to do that is to have more strict punishments and more time in prison and throw the key away.

No where is safe anymore, and every time I get out from my home, I always say a small prayer and make the sign of the cross to protect me. These people need to get into community outreach programs, sporting activities, community service, helping the elderly, doing things productive to make a difference in the world. More and more needs to be done about it and the Government should really crack down on crime, gun violence and among other serious crimes. The young offenders act needs to be scrapped because no matter how old you are, your name should be on the news and no matter how old you are if you do the crime, you do the time just like how adults are serving those sentences. Punishments are not severe enough. Some countries in the world have 0 Tolerance and they do something about criminals. North America should really start focusing on getting these people on track with their lives. innocent lives are being lost in blood shed crime for no reason at all.

The more violence there is in video games, those terrible TV Shows that influence violence and other terrible things that should not even be on television, the more violence there is in schools the more people get influenced with violence and hate crimes as well as drugs and illegal drugs, the more it will increase in our communities. We all want safe communities, we all want to get to our homes safely without someone pulling the trigger, we all want peace and harmony but without tougher punishments we won’t get anywhere. In Toronto the other day, people are just enjoying a barbecue and just have a community function and someone comes around and shoots fire, killing a lot of people and injuring so many critically. I mean where does it stop? There should not be no more slaps on the wrist and letting these criminals walk. No second chances for anyone. Crime rates are going up higher and higher into staggering heights.

I think because of all the chemicals in the air these days, and all the toxins there are, these things are triggering in peoples brains and it makes people go crazy and that tends them to do crazy things. Chemical imbalance, or something is going on that is making people become more crazy. I do not know what it is, but things need to be changed drastically, the world needs a makeover big time. Governments need tougher laws, 0 Tolerance. You don’t just let a criminal off and go scott free in our public community and into our lives. We all live in this world and our expectations differ from person to person, but where do we draw the line?

Families, Friends, Co-Workers of these people get effected big time when someone loses someone or some people from violence and someone who just shoots fire like its going out of style. I know all of us are going to pass away one day and were here for a limited time, but violence, crimes should not be a way to go. God forbid anything happens to anyone, but I feel terrible for what has happened to victims of violence. It saddens me so much and I started to cry. These things on the news I am hearing, I cannot handle it anymore. I get so emotional and sometimes I do not even want to turn on my TV anymore, I do not even want to open up newspapers because all I see are bad news. I want to be saturated with good news, I want to hear good things happening as we all do, but I think twice sometimes to turn the TV on. Again My condolences to all the victims and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. You all are in my heart and in my soul, and your memories will live on forever in your families, and friends.

Shoplifting & Stealing Will Put A Big Dent In Your Life!

In recent stories I have heard on the news of people robbing banks, retail stores, grocery stores, malls, who steal gasoline, so on and so forth has got my blood boiling. I just do not see the logic in people who commit fraud, who steal, who shoplift, who do terrible things to get money and items from other people. I know that times are tough, prices are increasing, and that  people will do anything to survive, but have those people ever thought of making a nice clean living? have they thought about making an honest living? It doesn’t matter what people are going through, stealing is wrong in so many levels. It is one of the 10 commandments in the bible saying thou shall not steal in Exodus – Chapter 20.. If people do not have the money to buy something, they should not buy it, if people are in deep debt and keep getting into deeper debt, maybe its about time to stop buying things you cannot afford and pay off your debt. It will save your reputation with your credit and then the collections agency to be after you. It is not a good thing to go through. Debt is one of the main reasons why people find the thrill to shoplift, steal and fraud other people for money.

Always set aside money and things for a rainy day. You never know when you might need it. I know people work so hard to make ends meet from paycheck to paycheck, but everyone can be debt free when they budget themselves and buy important things rather than dishing out for unimportant things like a 500 dollar purse, or 300 dollar shoes, or a 800 dollar dress, or extra fees and monthly payments of certain things in the house. That money can be saved for important things like necessities to survive, like food, important hygiene products, useful things for the house, saving up the travel somewhere.

I am not telling you how to spend your money and your hard earned cash, but learning the value of money and how you worked so hard earning that money and thinking about spending it before you spend it, is something so important and that will making everything go right and money issues will be no more. I cannot stress how important it is to save save save. You can put a down payment on a house, you can buy a car, you can do anything, but make sure it is for the right reasons. Money will go within seconds. Saving some aside is not a bad thing.

Shoplifting, Fraud, and Stealing will put a huge dent into someones life for good and it will be on your record for the rest of your life and if your looking for employment, if your looking for a relationship and when your employer or when your better half finds out, the trust will be gone and trust will be so hard to get back. So be honest, making an honest living, and do not steal and do terrible things to others. I believe in Karma and what goes around comes around and God watches everyone from above. Stealing something that is even 1 Dollar, or Stealing something that is 10 dollars or stealing gas from a gas station or stealing from others. Is it really worth your reputation? Is it really worth your credentials? Is it really worth your record being ruined for life? Is it really worth for someone to go to jail, serving a sentence for it? I don’t think it is worth it at all.

If I don’t have the money for something, I will not buy it and I will not even look at something. Spending money wisely is the way to go. I know that living expenses and the prices of everything are going up, but those need to change too and be fair for the economy and the world we live in and I totally understand that, but again stealing is stealing and it is wrong. It doesn’t matter. the bottom line is when someone is old enough to steal, they are old enough to serve a punishment. When you do the crime, you do the time. It is all that matter in the end because nobody else will clean up your mess you made in terms of your life because you will have a dent that cannot be repaired ever again and even if you try to hide it, the truth always comes out. Think about it.

When People Take Credit For The Work Somebody Else Has Done.

Isn’t it mind boggling when you do all the work for a company, or when you are doing a project that a lot of the group members do not participate in doing anything, then everybody or someone else gets credit for it? That is a terrible thing. Those people do not even admit that they didn’t pull their weight in a job, task or project portion and being dishonest about it. I cannot handle people who take all the credit. When you are working in a group setting everyone must pitch in and do something and not let one person take care of it. Each person must be delegated a task to do and then put the finished product together in the end.

I believe that it is not fair for the other person who has worked extremely hard for something and who has put a lot of time and energy into something and then does not even get recognized for it and does not even get the credit, award, or something they solely deserve. I know from experience. I was a committee member of my Armenian Youth Group at my church for over 7 years and I was the communications director, and secretary for so many years, and I was the one sending out flyers, letting people know of any retreats, events, parties, weekend camping and skiing getaways, sports weekends, meetings, writing up meeting minutes, going to several meetings out of town, in town, going to committee retreats in the states like Chicago and New York, and being a vital person in the committee, the church and the community. During every church anniversary I would hope that my name is called to receive the Youth Female of the Year award and I would be so hopeful to hear them calling my name, but that never came and I was really crushed then I would see a totally different person getting the award that I am supposed to receive. At those times I was in everything from Sunday School, Volunteering at Saturday School, Going to almost every event possible, and promoting events on facebook, e-mails and everything else. You would think after all the hard work, determination and countless hours spent, for them to dedicate me an award and give me credit for the work I have put into it, but I was so wrong. It was a terrible feeling I got in my stomach and in my life. I was crying my eyes out because of it. I have never really been the same again and I just didn’t have it in me to continue anymore. Yes I am still a vital member in my community and I do go to bible studies and everything, but that same poise and that same energy I used to have is not there anymore. There is this emptiness in my heart, soul and mind that is not giving me the drive to do anymore.

That is why when I see well-deserved people not being recognized for all the hard work they do and not getting credit for it, it just makes my blood boil and it just makes me so angry that hey this person worked their butt off and did so much and yet the appreciation and recognition is not there for that person and who was not honored as a great individual who took so much time out of their life to help out and to make sure things succeed. It saddens me to see it. When people do things for me, and when people go out of their way to work at something, I always recognize them and give them the credit they deserve. I mean its a polite and nice thing to do. Now being dishonest and taking the credit upon yourself is not a great thing.

In general, I do see this happening and when credit is not given, its a wrong thing to do. Like if you see something online or if you see somebody writing something its always a great idea to ask and to give credit where its deserved. I don’t know this is my two cents of it all.

Well, Hello April! Nice seeing you Again! – What a Month It Will Be…

Well, Hello April! I cannot believe how time is flying by so quickly. This month will be a jam packed one for me as Easter  Celebrations are just around the corner, as I will be super busy going to church and being with family and friends. I am looking forward to a couple of trips I will take this month. I also will be traveling to Ottawa, Canada, Canada’s Capital and every year on April 24th, We embark on a journey from Parts of Ontario and Quebec and other places and we commemorate the Armenian Genocide at the Parliament Hill at noon then we head to the Turkish Embassy to commemorate the Armenian Genocide of what the Turkish Ottoman Empire committed those crimes against humanity and killed 1.5 Million Armenians. This month will be a bittersweet month with the good and the bad, but this month will be my birthday but not until the end of this Month on the 30th. I have so much to do this month, but not enough hours in the day to do it all in. Well, today is Palm Sunday and its a time where I will go to church to be with my family, seeing friends and people I haven’t seen in a while. I need to make an effort to attend church a lot more often. I do attend bible studies every Thursday nights, but that is not enough. I am going to make the extra effort to attend church on Sundays and that will start again this month. I used to go all the time, but it will start again. I want to bond with God again and I want to go into God’s house more. Today is also April Fools day. When I was in school, I remember we used to do so many things to fool and trick people, but now for several years, I just don’t do it anymore. I should, its fun lol but since its Palm Sunday, I don’t feel it is appropriate. I believe for me going to church is far more important than tricking somebody or some people. Well, here is to April! See you tomorrow!
