A Clean House Is A Happy Talin – I Love Cooking & Cleaning

For several years now since I was a little kid, I have always had this eye for organization, wanting to learn new things, cooking, and how to clean efficiently and among everything else. I learned how to cook since I was 8 years old, and I started to clean and tidy up when I was 4 years old. My mom and dad always taught me the importance of cleanliness, organization and neatness so that when I want to look for something it will be easy to find when things are organized and neat. Now that I am almost 28 years old 7 days from now, All those skills and things I experienced is something that my mom tells me that you clean better than I do now, and your always finding new things to do in the house, how to organize, and everything better than I do. I said I only learned from the best and when I have my own home one day, you will be happy with what I am going to do with it. My mom has looked after me all these years for the past so many years now I keep telling my mom to relax and put her feet up, I will do the cooking and stuff. I love to cook a lot. It takes a lot of my stress out and I enjoy doing these things, and looking after the house. I find complete joy when I do. My parents really appreciate all that I do and to make sure the house is in tip top shape.

Every person we have who come over, they say this place is so spotless and so clean. Everything is well maintained. I said thank you. To me it is important to keep my place clean and tidy and up to date. I like to hear compliments and leave a great impression on family and guests who come over and I don’t like to hear that this persons place is so filthy and they don’t know how to clean a house. I don’t like hearing those things, so I like to maintain my house every 2 or 3 days, but the kitchen area I always maintain everyday, clean out the fridge, and never leave dishes in the sink and I always wash them, dry them and put them away, wash down the counter tops and kitchen table with vinegar and water, and clean my floors with vinegar and water. I don’t use other chemicals for my home. The house does smell like a salad for a couple of hours, but it shines and cleans it right down. Oh happy joy joy. I get so excited when it comes to cleaning. I know you must say this woman is crazy, but it fills my day with joyfulness.

I have so much to do everyday. There aren’t enough hours in the day. I love doing laundry too and the smell of the laundry detergent is so great. I love the smell of it, and folding my laundry after is something I enjoy too. When I put laundry away, I co-ordinate by colour too so as I know what I have and don’t have. I designate a day in the week to do Laundry, to vacuum, to mop the floors, but I usually do all the floor work in one day. I have a central vac in the house so I never sweep my floors anymore. I only vacuum and then I mop after. Its so much easier without dust and stuff going all around with the broom. You just vacuum and its done in less time.

Do you like to clean, cook and do you find joy in doing housework? What does a clean house mean to you?

Would love to hear from you.

Nothing Like Organization, Neatness, & Cleanliness

Since I was a child, I have always learned the importance of organization, neatness and cleanliness. I do not like things out of place, and I even fold my clothes, and hang my clothes according to colour and type of clothing it is. I make filing systems for all my things, I organize my things with the new modern looking storage boxes, dividers, drawer organizers, pen, staple, scissor holders, plastic drawers, I clean all the dust at least twice a week, regular washroom maintenance every other day. I really enjoy cleaning the house, and cleaning my own space and being neat, vacuuming, washing dishes, doing laundry, washing sheets and towels weekly, folding laundry, cooking, mopping and washing the floors. I really enjoy doing it. I know some people don’t, but it is fun when you make it fun. I listen to music, think of happy thoughts, and just going through a fun time. I just love being organized too so that I know where everything is in the house, so that if I am looking for something, I know exactly where to find it and I don’t have to spend hours just looking for something. I remember when I was in my teens, and a few people came over to my house, and I remember them saying, your home is spotless, and I said thank you so much. It felt good when others notice that instantly when they come over. When you least expect it, people can come over to my place, so I like to upkeep it all the time and even if people don’t come over, it will be a clean house to live in and being proud of it being clean and tidy. I usually use vinegar and water most of the time to mop the floors, clean surfaces, and then the whole places smells like a salad for a couple of hours and then it goes back to normal.  I don’t use harsh chemicals that are bad, I use natural cleaners like vinegar and water. It is the best form of cleaning ever. It is exciting to me and I find to be so awesome to clean and to know that my house is in tip top shape. I love it

The Big Apple — Colborne, Ontario — My Thoughts and My Rating on it.

3, 519,760  apple pies sold. By, Talin Orfali

In past experiences I have stopped at the Big Apple in Colborne, Ontario on my way back and forth from Montreal to Toronto, Toronto to Montreal and I think its a nice landmark in Ontario. It can be seen from Highway 401 at exit 497. Percy St. Big Apple Dr in Cramahe Township. There is a giant red apple, that cannot be missed. It has been in existence since I was little.

I must say certain pies are great especially the Caramel Apple Crumble, but I have tried the Apple cookies and I didn’t find them to be quite appealing. It was overbaked and I really did not enjoy it. It was not what I had expected. The gift shop is quite enormous and there is an array of merchandise, groceries, snacks, souvenirs and apple products for baking and consuming. I had bought a lanyard, t-shirt and a couple of things from the gift shop. I think some of the prices are reasonable, but some are ridiculously expensive. I really do not see the logic of things being expensive in stores. They will be kept there for years if they do not make the prices reasonable for the customers.

There is a golf course, There is a pole with a sign on it stating how far cities are in the world. It is pretty neat. There are animals, and a lookout point in the giant red apple, that overlooks the Highway 401. You can see transport trucks and vehicles driving by so quickly and the nature of trees around is absolutely spectacular.

The cleanliness of the restroom’s are excellent and maintained. If you ever go to a bakery, restaurant or place where food is being served, the restrooms must be clean. The restrooms are an important factor to how food is handled and overall health of a restaurant and how things are made.

My overall rating out of 10 for The Big Apple is an 8. They can improve on some things as stated as above.
