The Bildbord App – Social Media In An All New Level

In our lives, social media plays a big role and how we connect with others on the internet. It consists of everything to make communication easy for people all around the world. Recently, I discovered The Bildbord app that has changed how social media operates. The digital world is growing every passing day and the Bildbord app lets you add photos, websites, your business, e-commerce, music playlists, shops and a lot more. This is not like an ordinary social media site. Bildbord is a lot more.

You can add hashtags of ethnicity, religion, your location, your common interests with others and it narrows it down to whom you have similar interests with. Bildbord has allowed us to be who we are, how we can be located, and to match ourselves with others.

There are sites out there that restrain you from chatting and communicating with others, Bildbord allows you to chat with others with no limitations and you can interact 24/7/365. Whenever it is convenient for you.

On the Bildbord website, there is a quote that is incredible and it says,

“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one.”
– C.S. Lewis

That there says it all. Creating friendships based on interests and personality traits is a whole new approach to social media and how we can make friends instantly. Easily send messages to each other and enjoy making new friends. Besides we all want to connect with others and that is what social media is ultimately about, so Bildbord takes that to an all new level. Discover and represent.

Create your very own face verified profile photo and never be bombarded or tricked by fake online profiles ever again. Add your photos, gifs, and add links of your business and personal websites to gain more exposure. Get creative, and enjoy yourself. Life is about enjoying and being ourselves.

The Creators of the app are Daniel Goddard and Bryton James. Daniel is a former actor of the Soap The Young and the Restless who played Cane Ashby and Bryton is currently on the soap as Devon Hamilton. They came together to create this new project and its such a great thought and idea. It is such an awesome site that offers so much for us. Daniel and Bryton are such awesome people. I wish them success and all the best in this project.

You can get the app on Android Google Playstore or The Apple Appstore.

Android VS. Apple — The difference. – In My opinion

Do not take offense to it if you are heavily into iPhone, but it is just what I have noticed. I began to dissect the difference between the two. So far Android is the winner.

~~ Android ~~

With Android phones, you can save photos, videos and files right to your computer backing it up easily with just hooking up your USB cable. You do not have to use iCloud or iTunes and always rely on them to always back up your contacts too. you have many more options of looking for apps and androids are more convenient to use and you have more options of buying different types of phones such as the Samsung, LG, HTC, Nexus, Also, to charge the battery you have options of using different types of charging ends on phones and cost less. I prefer android more than Apple in my opinion.

~~ Apple ~~

You must always use Apple products, downloading iTunes, iCloud, to always back up your photos, videos, music and other things. You cannot just directly hook up the USB to your computer and directly put the items in your documents. You are limited with the apps for apple. It is a lot more complicated to maneuver around the app, and they only have one type of charger. The ending of the chargers are a lot more flimsy and have to replace it often. Plus apple products are so much more costly. If you do not have Apple Care, then you are pretty much going to dig into your pocket a lot more. Also with that you have more of a chance to lose your contact information and photos if you make one small wrong move. Sorry, Siri

I am sticking to Android and will always be a loyal user. A lot better and easier to manage without all the sophisticated stuff, without hassle.

I am on Instagram – Follow Me at Talin401

In the recent months I have joined Instagram. It is an app for iPhone/Android users or anyone with a smartphone can join and have access to it. It is a website where you take photos from your Camera Phone photo files, and you pick and choose what you want to post on Instagram. I have almost 100 photos posted on there right now, but it will be increasing. I am very picky on photos I choose to post on Instagram.

However, it is important to be very careful of what you post on there as well that will not cause bullying, discrimination or anything of that sort.

If you would like to Follow me on Instagram and I will automatically follow you back. As stated above My name is Talin401 on there.

You can keep in touch with family, friends, and others if you like to as well and see their photos too.

There is also an app called Instasize, of where you can get your whole picture to fit on instagram if it is too big. try it out.

You can also hashtag #hashtag your posts so that it can be posted globally to whoever has instagram. For example, if you post a picture of yourself in New York City or Boston or you are traveling somewhere, you can write #boston #newyorkcity #newyork #nyc #bostonma #travel #traveling – Stuff like that. Make sure that you hashtag your posts if you like to of what is in relative to the photo.

Enjoy Instagram and keep in touch with me there as well that is if you like to.

Smartphones and Tablets — Have They Taken Over Our Lives?

As mobile devices serve a good purpose in life to communicate with others with texting, calling, spending time with apps, and having fun with them, but there should be limits. I feel that human face to face communication is diminishing, and that mobile devices have gone out of control. Social skills and speaking is deteriorating as our tongue freezes up and cannot come up with conversations instantly, whereas it is easier to communicate with texts and writing messages, but I prefer the old fashioned way, where people come together, enjoy, create memories, laugh, talk and do fun things together, to put the phones down and actually verbally do the talking instead of the fingers. I know that it is a personal mobile phone and you can be on it 24 hours a day, but you do not need to be on it constantly.

I feel that smartphones and tablets and the constant changes to technology and gadgets are taking over some peoples lives and they can’t seem to put them down at all, they wake up with it, go to bed with it, they use the washroom with it, they eat dinner while being on them, they use it while at a coffee shop or restaurant among friends 90% of the time people get together and do not look at each others faces, and its just overwhelmingly taken over. what is the point of getting together with people when all that will be done is looking at screens? Where do we draw the line? Its become so bad that when people are physically together, they text each other when they are beside each other, and they communicate with their phone instead of looking at each other and moving their mouths.

I too have a smartphone mobile device, but I know my limits. I do enjoy my mobile device too, but I do not let it control my life, or my way of living. I will not let a screen device take over my life and who I am. Some people need to know limits, and when to put down the phone, like when someone is talking to you, when you are among a group of people, when you are in the washroom and so on and so forth. I sometimes go more than 12 hours without looking at my phone, I sometimes don’t look at it all day, as I do not let it control me.

Although mobile devices are important to have for emergencies and to contact people instantly, but some people overuse it to the point where things get out of hand and disrespecting others who are trying to talk to you when your head is so into that device, and its not healthy especially the radiation it produces. From your point of view, do you limit your use? What are your opinions about this issue? I would love to hear from you.  Know your limit and be within it.

The Microsoft Windows 8 – I am Actually Enjoying It

I know it has been some time and fallen a bit behind in newer technology and I know that Windows 8 has been out and I finally got into it after using windows 7, but I enjoy using both still, and I think Windows Vista was the worst one Microsoft came out with but this newest one put a whole new perspective with things. This past week I begun to use Windows 8 for the first time ever on my  brand new laptop and I am actually enjoying the experience. You can still use windows 7 as you can view as desktop or you can go back into windows 8. I really like that you can go instantly into your e-mail and check it out right from your desktop without having to go to the website itself, log in and check it out. This way you are right into it, it saves a lot of time and you can view weather, stocks, finance, travel, trending news, and download so many apps.

I downloaded Shazam and when I am somewhere with my laptop and listen to a song I like, I can shazam it and get the song I want. I really like all the new features it has. I am quite impressed. I always said I am not going to get Windows 8 as it looks messy and disorganized, but once I got into it and I started getting used to it, I am really enjoying the experience. In the store when I was checking it out, I never really got the feeling of it and I could not concentrate on it as much because of all the surrounding distractions and the sales person around me, but I learned windows 8 now in under half an hour. It doesn’t take me much to learn about things and I am a fast learner. It is such a great software and there are so many things I am liking about it, how you can personalize it to your  favourite colour and them, how it is secure, password protected when you start your computer and everything, and I like the photo files, the new snipping tool.

Do you use windows 8? or do you use another version of windows? or do you use a Mac? I find that a Mac is a lot harder to operate and when it comes to a MAC I am not much into that. I like the iPad, iPhone, iPod and stuff those are good, but when it comes to computers, I prefer a PC Windows. It makes it a whole lot easier to operate and better in organization. What is your opinion on it? What is your preference?

Apple’s Iphone Or Blackberry – Your Opinion

As a blackberry user for more than 2 and a half years now, I decided to make the switch to the Iphone world of Apple. I want to get an iPhone because it gives me more options and I am more organized when it comes to my work, my blogging, social media, and among other apps that I really like and seeing and playing with different apps that are neat from my friends phones and everything really puts a new perspective on things and really makes life so much easier in terms of communicating with others and plus having the face time, and among so many things. Now what is your opinion? What do you think I should stick with? I know blackberry 10 is coming up, and I don’t know with all the problems that blackberry phones have had with the battery dying quickly, the freezing of the phone and having to take the battery in and out again so it will function and when the blackberry phone starts it takes a while for the bar to fully be loaded and go into the homepage and home screen of the phone.

I think I will switch to the iPhone, I am thinking of starting with the iPhone 4S and work my way up to the 5. I think the 4S is great and all the features and everything is so awesome. What is your opinion? Are you an iPhone or Blackberry user? Have you had problems? What are your ratings on the functionality of the phones and what do you think and recommend for me? I don’t plan to go to android, or Samsung phones. It is either Apple or Blackberry. I cannot go to an HTC phone or whatever other phones there are out there. I am hoping that my switch will be great and I will be a happy camper. So far my friends, family are really happy with Apple’s iPhone. So lets see where it takes me.
