It is Almost Time Again For Christmas Movies on TV

I know you are probably thinking, why I am bringing up Christmas 2 months before and it is early to even think about it, but with the time going by so quickly, it will be here before you know it, However It is that time again where Halloween is almost here, and the day after Halloween, is when all the Christmas Commercials, and Movies that are shown on Television right until New Years. 2014 has just zoomed on by. it was just like yesterday we were celebrating the New Year and Christmas, and now it is almost here again. Christmas movies have been a tradition for me annually.

There are many Christmas movies out there, however some just stand out more than others, and I really enjoy Watching Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, Griswold’s National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Four Christmas’s, Miracle on 34th St, Santa Clause, Santa Clause 2, Jingle All the way, The Muppet Christmas Carol, and Jack Frost.

The most I watch though is Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.

I love watching these movies, I make myself a hot beverage, cover up with a warm blanket in the cold winter months, and I just enjoy myself. No matter how many times I watch them, it feels like I am watching them for the first time. I just do not like the commercials that interrupt the movie.

Some movies you can watch over and over again, but some movies once is more than enough, however these classic movies will never go out of style and will certainly never get old. I cannot wait until they appear on television once again and where I can continue my tradition as always. I sometimes watch it by myself, with family and friends as well. I am quite excited for it all. I have fun either way.

The only thing I do not like is the Cold Winter months and the snow, but everything else is great. 🙂 Do you watch Christmas movies? Do you have traditions that you follow or at least try to follow annually? Would love to hear from you. 🙂 Well, have a great time and fabulous upcoming Holiday Season.

The Oscars Are Around The Corner – 85th Academy Awards

It is that time again where the 85th Annual Oscars Academy Awards are on the way this Sunday on February 24th, 2013. The glitz, glamor, dresses, the ambiance, displays, celebrities, artists, and celebrating an evening filled with incredible and great talent that makes television and movies the way they are now. I never miss a year of the Oscars and I always watch it. I make some amazing dishes for dinner and snacking, and prepare for the Oscars. It is a tradition in my family where we watch the Oscars and pick out our nominees and see who will win. I think ARGO is going to win this year. I have this feeling they are. I have never seen the movie yet, but I have heard incredible reviews and read so much about it. I haven’t seen most of the movies that are Oscar Academy nominees, but I plan to watch them. I don’t watch every movie out there, but the ones that are interesting to me. So I will watch ARGO when the DVD comes out.Who do you think the Award should go to for best picture and for best movie of the year? Django Unchanged? Les Miserables? or others?

The only thing is we don’t usually dress up for the occasion, we just have a cozy night in and watch the red carpet preview, then the award itself. Do you think Seth Macfarlane will do a great job as a host? I am confident he will be. I am sure he will add a flare of comedy into his introduction to the Oscar night. It must be an honor to be chosen to be a host for such a huge night in Entertainment. I wish him all the best in that and I am rooting for Seth. Way to go! I also liked it when Ellen DeGeneres Hosted as well. She added so much to it. I don’t know if you remember that year.

Do you have an Oscars Academy awards tradition? What do you do? Do you watch the Oscars? What do you think of the fashions as the years go by? Do you concentrate on everything in the background, and whats happening on camera? I am sure a lot of people do. I am thrilled and excited for Sunday. Are you?

2012 Is Almost Over – Came and Went So Fast – Time Is Flying By Quickly

Can you believe how fast 2012 went by? It was like yesterday we celebrated 2012, and now were back toward the end of the year and ready to welcome 2013. Can you believe how fast it went? I can’t believe it. Well, It has been an up and down year for me, but I learned a lot of new things this year. I learned a lot about how people are in society, myself, my strengths, new experiences, about blogging, about social media, about different things that I had never experienced before. You name it. This year was an interesting year for me. Unfortunately, I lost loved ones, God rest their souls, I had the pleasure of traveling to different destinations, I met new friends, let go of people who weren’t really my friends, let go of those people who were true to me, above all, I kept a very positive attitude, and I didn’t let negativity overpower me. I sometimes had mixed emotions about certain things, but that is normal and we all have days where we are down and days where we feel sad, but This year taught me the importance of not taking things to heart and not being attached to things so quickly. 2012 taught me so much. I remember by detail what happened this year for me. I got closer to my great friends, and family, I got to see my cousins after 13 years, I had the pleasure of meeting family I never met before. It was quite an interesting year, mostly ups and that really puts a new perspective on things. I got to see a live filming of CSI Las Vegas and I was a few feet away from Actor Ted Danson, George Eads, and Jorja Fox, I got do a lot of things which are incredible, and I look forward to accomplishing a lot more in 2013. I feel like 2013 will be my year to shine, and will be my year to do more than I did in 2012. I believe each year that passes, we learn valuable lessons of life and I believe that with whatever and however we approach it, it teaches us things of life and I like to prepare myself in advanced. Sometimes you can’t prepare for things that happen out of the blue, but I truly believe that things work out in the end and that things will be better and fine. Lets see what 2013 has in store for all of us and what will occur. We don’t know, but we will see.

I just have this feeling that it will be my year. I don’t know, but when I get this gut feeling, it always happens. Lets see what happens. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Joyous, Happy, Healthy new year 2013.

Loving The Outdoors…

It is that time of year again, where people get out from the winter hibernation and go out to explore nature and go outside to enjoy the weather and everything else. I cannot wait to go to my first lake front relaxation with my friends. Its going to be an incredible night I feel it. I will still dress a little warmly, but I just love the outdoors and everything. Once May Hits, I am usually out and about and traveling, driving more, and enjoying the much needed warm weather we need. Living in Canada is great though. I cannot complain, but I love the weather when it becomes April, May all the way to October. I have been an outdoors person since I was a kid and I couldn’t wait for picnics, camping, fishing, Yes I love to fish and haven’t in such a long time. I know some people are probably wondering, a girl liking to fish? Yes I love to catch fish. Its relaxing, yet fun and also among going to the beach, lake front, just chilling and walking around. I am now doing exercise and when the weather is warmer now, I plan not to do it on my treadmill, I plan on going outside to do my workouts. I will feel it more because the inclines and the levels on the street is a lot different than on the treadmill. You will feel the burn pain a lot more than the treadmill too. I get so excited this time of year after my birthday which passed on Monday and summer and spring makes me feel more cheery and happy.

Winter not so much. I am excited for my first official outdoor outing! yay!
