Having Writers Block is Not Fun

Hello Everyone, in the last month or so, I haven’t had much to write about. I guess because of writers block. I am sure it happens to most of us writers out there. Sometimes our thought process doesn’t produce content and topics to write about. Now with COVID19, the whole pandemic, it is pretty hard to focus with everything going on.

I am just thinking about the whole process, unpredictability, What the future holds for our families, friends, and when we will get back to our daily routine, when we can travel again, to find inspiration, new things to discuss and so much more. I have had writers block before, but not to this extent. It is not a fun thing to go through.

I guess we are longing for entertainment in this quarantine life we are living. In spite of it all, It has been a positive experience for me because it brought back time for me to do projects, more family time, to interact and communicate on social media with family, friends and fans from around the world. It has been an uplifting experience, however I also need to make time for writing too as that is one of my greatest passions in life.

I hope you are staying safe and healthy and practicing social distancing. Hopefully this pandemic will be over with soon so we can reunite, make memories and share our moments with our loved ones together again.

  1. I am so sorry you have been struggling with writers’ blog, Talin:(. As a Creative Writing tutor I know only too well how devastating it can be. There is a wonderful site with a range of interactive writing games and activities specially aimed at writers suffering with writers’ blog called Language is a Virus. Do pop along and have a play – and remember that words can be fun… It’s absolutely nothing to do with me, by the way – I just have found it an excellent resource over the years!
