In Life, I strongly believe that when we work hard and to get to where we want to be in life, we must take things step by step to get to the top of the ladder. There is no such thing as starting from the top. Learning the tricks of the trade and doing the best we can in life is what is important. Some of us may not succeed in the beginning, but never give up because you failed, keep doing it and you will see positive and really great results. Put it in your mind that you will do this, talk to yourself, and look at yourself in the mirror every morning and think to yourself, for example: Hi Good morning, My Name is Talin, I am going to do something positive and learn something new today and do the best of my ability and not leave things to do today. I will not leave things for tomorrow, because tomorrow you never know what it brings. when you have the opportunity to do something today, do not leave it for tomorrow. Prioritize your life. what is important first, then you do everything else after. Everything in life takes steps, and sometimes we need to take a few steps back in order to move forward. How will you know when you don’t try? We can’t just take the easy way out and say I give up, I can’t do this. That is not a good way to approach life, and that is a recipe of failure. Giving up and saying I can’t do it. Snap out of that phase and take a look at yourself. You can do everything and anything you want to do. Just keep going and doing something that will benefit you. Why put yourself in that predicament? Why make yourself depressed and put yourself down?
Yes things happen sometimes that are not in our control and things can happen that may prevent us from moving forward to success, but do not let those obstacles get in the way of where you want to be in life. take sometime for yourself, think about what you want to do in life, and spend some quality alone time with you and just brainstorm ideas without disturbance. make a list of things you want to do in your life, whether its traveling to your favourite places, whether its something you want to do with your home, or something for others, helping yourself, helping others. make a positive list and jot down all the ideas you have and things you want to accomplish and put it somewhere in your house where you will constantly see it and go from there. Nothing is more incredible than setting positive goals which can help us in the long run. So think about it and go with the flow.
You can do it, you just have to discipline yourself and snap out of negative thoughts. When negativity takes over, things become dull in life. Don’t do that to yourself. Get up stand up, take can control of your life and don’t give energy to things that don’t matter. That Ladder is not going to climb itself. 🙂 So get on it! get into the groove! Love yourself and do good things for yourself. You will see the big change in your life. Just do it! All the best to you! You have my support and encouragement. 🙂
I spent some years mourning the fact that I had to give up my career as a carer because of my worsening epilepsy. Then I realised that I had other talents to turn my hand to, and that I could find new hobbies.
As you so rightly say; never let anything hold you back – there are always ways around an obstacle and ways to turn the negative into something positive!
It is so good to feel all that positivity, Talin. I wish you great success as you reach toward your goals.
Blessings – Maxi
What a beautiful blog Talin, so nicely written and described, very encouraging and so positive, you will be a good writer I know and will succeed in life. 🙂
It’s smart that you see things this way. Bravo! You can’t start at the top. The best decision you made is that you’re going back to school, to learn the craft of writing, to become a better writer. Good for you.
Defnitely take courses in writing – even online courses are good, if you don’t have the time or the money for traditional classroom or university.
wow, awesome thinking.
Same to you, Talin. Wishing you all the best, step by step, rung by rung of the ladder!
Yeah, just do it! Á la Nike.
Hello. I just wanted to let you know that http://www.kimberliah.com has moved on to a self-hosted website. What does this mean for you? Possibly nothing, if you were tired of my blog, but didn’t have the heart to un-follow. You’re officially off the hook! However, if you were still pro-kimberliah please take a moment and visit my site and re-follow. I’ll be your friend for life. I promise! It’ll only take a few second of your time and it will make me smile…. and possibly shed a tear. Happy blogging!
These are ideals my father, a successful business man has followed all his life. You are on the right track indeed!
I think this is so true. I like to remind myself it’s about taking babysteps in faith and always believing God can do more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20)!

Needed to share this with my followers and followers to be 😃
we definitely start at the bottom of the ladder and not at the top. What fun would it be if we started at the top? With nothing to look forward to.
What about George Bush? He was born on third base, but has always been convinced he hit a triple.
