A great friend of Mine Carmen Djemalian from www.TheNewHappyMe.com has brought up a wonderful idea about New Years resolution, She stated that “Yes, yes, I know… too soon to be writing about New Year’s Resolutions” but I support her for writing her article now. I think pre-planning and listing the resolutions for the year coming is a great idea. It gives you time to think about what you need to improve in life and what you need to do to better yourself and the world around you. I know most of the time new years resolutions for people are to get healthy, lose weight, so on and so forth, but I think the main focus on new years resolutions are to keep at it and to fulfill your resolutions and not just by saying it. Easier said than done right? It is important to do what you had promised yourself to.
Carmen said “BUT, in reality, Resolution IS the word that best describes what we do when we set our mind to accomplish a GOAL. Deciding, planning, committing to the accomplishment to the best of our abilities, are all part of Making a Resolution. My point is: It doesn’t have to start on January 1st!”
That is so true. As soon as the clock strikes 12 on January 1st, it doesn’t mean you start right away. Things don’t happen overnight. You need to work at it and you will what you have accomplished. What new years resolutions mean to me is that you can always start fresh. Improving yourself, improving yourself with others, the whole social aspect and more. The sky is the limit. What you can do today, do not leave for tomorrow.
