Reading Reviews Online – Some Can Be True or False

Do you often read reviews and do your research online before you travel, buy products, call a certain service company, and other goods and services? Nowadays there are people who plague the internet with fake reviews and falsifying information with different usernames and post reviews from unknown areas, and we should be careful when reading reviews. Some people get paid to write them, some people who have never even traveled or experienced a product or something, they try to find review sites and go with what other people are saying and they do research online before writing a review and some are so good with their craft of fooling people who you do not know the difference between fake or real.

There are ways to detect a fake review. If people exaggerate too much, drag on, and come up with very strange usernames and the way people write. You have to really read between the lines. To me personally I do not trust online reviews and I barely and rarely even read them, why? because in the end everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and I would rather go experience something on my own or when I buy a product to experience it and to try it for myself. If I am going to listen to every person, and read all these reviews, I won’t go anywhere, I won’t try anything. It is so important to try to stay away from reviews. You don’t know if you are reading a real or fake one. Some you cannot even detect on it because they wrote it so well. Some get paid and some go over the top because they are asked to. Some are so good at what they do and they persuade you so much, and do you often read online testimonials? A lot of these reviews come from a lot of researchers online, there are people who do all sorts of things to get some money, but I think it is wrong to give false reviews, and praising companies that should not even exist, and praising and giving a good name to places that should not even be in our world, but they are and they fool people with false advertising.

Have you ever been a victim of it? Do you read reviews and determine whether or not to purchase or to fly anywhere or to go to a resort or hotel? Do you believe in everything you read on review sites? I personally don’t and I don’t take them seriously. Yes although some can be real by individuals who write it, but in my opinion, I would steer away from those things. I am a person who likes to experience and give my own opinion, rather than listening to so many others who can be lying about something. Remember the internet can be misleading, it can be misinterpreted and so many people can understand things differently. I guess that is how it is in this life right? Prevent yourself from being fooled and just try it and experience it for yourself. There is nothing wrong in that. All the best to you.

Dedicated to Primate Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan – A True Leader

I would like to introduce to you someone who is very dear to me in my heart and in my life, I would like to talk about someone who many of us in the world who love and appreciate him and his name is Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan of whom is our Canada Armenian Church Leader.  Please note when I say Srpazan that’s the Armenian word for Bishop.

Now, this past week, something unfair happened that there were elections of having another leader lead our Armenian Church Diocese Head in Canada, and the location of our head church office is in Montreal, Outremont, Quebec. The election was indeed a setup and a lot of people are against what happened, a petition is going around, and many people are quite upset about what happened and how the way things transpired. Most of the people are calling this a misjudgment and not making a great decision for our Armenian church of Canada with good intentions and I myself and others do not believe this election was done in a fair manner and things we done beforehand to alter the numbers. Something suspicious and fishy is going on and we want to get to the bottom of this and we want answers. Anyway,

in 2003 when I met Srpazan Bagrat Galstanyan, I knew right away I would love him and he became someone who I consider family to me. Srpazan has taught me so many things about life and his words, his speeches, the meetings I was in with him in ACYOC (Armenian Church Youth Organization of Canada), Kingston, Mississauga, traveling to Vancouver for our Sports Weekend in 2005, Going to Montreal/Laval sports weekends, Camping trips, and so many more memories. Srpazan Bagrat Galstanyan is someone who is very special and dear to me and the loss of him being our Srpazan and our leader has hit me so hard and it is hurting me beyond anything else. It is far worse than someone hitting me with a bat, but that does not even compare to the pain this is causing me and this has been on my mind since I heard about this on Monday Morning. I cried so hard, I cried so hard inside too, my tears rolled down my cheeks, and I am so angry!

Srpazan was there for me at my toughest moments when I was bullied, picked on because I was different and I went to events where I felt alone and left out, but Srpazan came to my rescue and he spoke to me, made me feel better about myself, and he gave me advice, he opened his heart to me. I will never forget that for the rest of my life. Srpazan was there for me when nobody else really was, I met many friends in Montreal because of Srpazan, and I was introduced to a whole new world and I was so excited to go to Montreal all the time and to see my friends. Srpazan after knew me by my first name, and he remembered what we discussed, he was always asking me how I am and how I am doing since we talked. THAT THERE TO ME SAID IT ALL! I knew I would love and trust him forever and I always will forever. He gave me the energy, he gave me something in my life that will always remain with me forever. He smiled at me always, and always excited to see me, shaking my hand, blessing my head with his hand. It was a great feeling!

I cannot stomach it To see him being treated unfairly, betrayed by his clergyman who he thought were his friends, who he thought were with him and support him and in a disgusting way his clergyman had to vote against him and on what grounds? This is unbelievable! and having these elections. What is this? A political race? Is this some kind of JOB race? I want Srpazan back, I want this whole bogus election to be void.

The true meaning of being Christian, and being a servant of God is to reach out to people in a personal level, to inspire, to help, to guide, to do great work for the community, to dedicate his/herself without asking for material things. I love Srpazan Bagrat so much! He will always be special to me and I Just want him back! Is that so hard to ask? This is betrayal.

Here is the Facebook page. Help and support us by getting him Back to stay with us, and there are pictures, videos, and links about him if you want to know more about our leader who is selfless, kind, spiritual, dedicated, caring, loving, humorous and so many more great qualities about him.

Happy Mothers Day To All Mothers and Future Mothers To Be.

Hello everyone,

Today, I want to wish all mothers of the world a very happy mothers day, I wish you all the best, health, happiness, goodness and all great things of life. Our Mothers sacrifice and do so much for us. They are our guidance counselor, give advice, nurture, raise,  doctors, nurses, cook, cleaner, driver, sending us to school, going grocery shopping, putting a roof over our heads, filling our empty stomach when we are hungry, and they do so much more. The list is endless and one of the toughest jobs to do in the world. Not only should today be considered mothers day. It should be everyday. Mothers need to be celebrated everyday. They do so much for us, they carried us in their body for 9 months, and went through so much to get us here. My mom is my rock and my everything. We shouldn’t just celebrate what they do for us, but how and who they are is important too.

I want to send thoughts and prayers to all mothers who are no longer physically with us on earth and some did not even get a chance to meet their mothers, some didn’t get to enjoy their mothers, unfortunately, but they are with you in spirit and in your hearts and your lives forever. That will never change. Just because someone is not there with you physically, it doesn’t mean they are not there. They will always watch over you and they will always be your mother no matter what.

It is really not about materialism and everything that our mom’s want from us on Mothers day, its really about our well-being and about what we do, the life choices we make, the decisions we make in life and who we become. Mom’s always worry about their children, it is a fact, and our mothers want nothing but the best for us and to make sure we are safe, happy and how we get through life.

So lets celebrate our mothers no matter if they are still here with us or have departed. Lets get together today and celebrate our beautiful moms. What are you going to do or already did for your mother today? What are your traditions every year to celebrate with your mom? Have a beautiful day everyone.

Materialism and I do not Mix Well Together

Since I was a child, I was always brought up to appreciate the people around me and always saying thank you. I have learned a lot of great qualities growing up. My parents and other and many of my relatives always taught me the importance of the joy of being with people instead of the material growth out of it. Yes I did receive gifts when I was a child, and that was about it. Now that I have been an adult for so many years now, Materialism and I do not mix. When I eventually get together with a man and find the right person in my life to marry and settle down with, him buying me expensive jewelery and an expensive engagement ring means nothing to me really, and buying me expensive clothes, bags and stuff. I can care less about it. The union and the way he treats me. As long as I am with a person who respects me, who takes care of me, who is a down to earth and honest person who understands me, and a person I am comfortable and can have fun with. Material growth is something on the last resort, but I never want to expect it. It’s like when I meet friends from Online or wherever, materialism is nothing to me again like I said. Being with people physically and sharing memories is far more precious to me, then some material goods. We don’t mix well and I tell you, I get really worked up when people bring me stuff, but then I say thank you I appreciate it. It’s like Drinking and Driving do not mix, well, its kind of like the same thing for me with materialism.

I know that a lot of people in this world have nothing in third world countries and I have traveled to a few places such as Cuba, Dominican Republic and other countries in this world and I see how they live, but they are so happy with what they have and appreciate it because they have seen life, and they have seen things other people have not, and I respect them so much. When I travel, I learn so much about how people live, their lifestyle, and day-to-day life. I have spent time in villages before and I have seen it all. I have learned to never take anybody for granted since I was a mere of 3 years old. I started learning these things at a very young age.

I am so fortunate with what I have now and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What Is In A Blog? Why Do We Blog?

In this day in age, social media, blogging, and networking is booming and blooming like wildflowers, a lot of places on the internet now have blogs. There are all sorts of blogs out there, some for personal use, business, hobby, interest, travel, food, recipes, pleasure, topics of the world, issues, life, advertising, writing about a product, introducing an artist and getting yourself out there for the world to know about you and who you are and what your purpose of a blog is. Blogging is such a huge thing now in our generation, in just a few clicks and writing a username and password, your on your way to making a blog. To me, blogging is therapeutic, its where I am able to write about my feelings, write about issues, introducing others, promoting someone or something. Before even starting with WordPress, I did a lot of thinking before I started this blog site, I said what will I use it for? How will I contribute to the world with my words? Will they be read? Will they be noticed? Will my content be read by so many people? Will my blog be successful? I asked myself several questions before dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s. I am glad I made the decision to say yes and start my journey in blogging. I am glad and happy on where it has taken me. The world now is filled with bloggers like us.

I have had my ups and downs in the past year and few months into my blog, but that didn’t stop me from pursuing my dreams and making a difference in peoples lives with my words with positive approach on life, to always be optimistic, happy, and enjoy life. That is one of the main reasons why I started to blog in the first place, but then as I went on, I started to post recipes of my favourite dishes, invested time in other topics, issues, and about technology, social media, and among so many other topics that came to mind. Ladies and Gentlemen, writing is a very difficult thing to do, but it doesn’t matter when it comes to blogging, how to write, the content, structure, the topic, the title, tagging your post. I know its supposed to be done well, but it really doesn’t have to. It depends on individuality, how you want your writings done, how you want your blog website to be portrayed. It is all up to you and you have the freedom to structure it the way you want to, but always make it visible, easy on the eyes and easy to comment, follow and organize your blog, so that way you get more people to come, but then again its your blog and you are entitled to make it the way you want it to.

Blogging is something very incredible. When you search for keywords on the internet on major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, and all the other ones, There are several sites that come up and your blog is included into the list. Some people prefer either Wikipedia, or right on a persons blog. Someone Somewhere will click on your blog and engage into it and if they like what they see, they will follow it and they will become a member on your site and get e-mail subscriptions, they will comment, and bookmark it, and there are all kinds of people interested in all kinds of things. There are billions of people who are online now, and the sky is the limit. You never know how many people maybe viewing your blog, you never know from where, which is why I love WordPress Stats, it tells you by country, clicks, search engines, how many peoples visited, viewed, your blog counter, and amongst who has been following your blog and so much more. I love looking at the stats. Its incredible. Blogging is such a great tool and I love it. I encourage everyone to start a blog, and I encourage everyone to get started on how great social media and networking can be. To advertise your business, and to promote yourself, a blog does wonders. You never know who is looking at you. Some people go places and get far in life just by blogging.

I remember a few weeks ago I went to a party and a friend of mine approached me and said, someone I know writes movie critics on his blog, and someone from an agency or a critic from a big movie company noticed and he was offered a career path in New York City in New York and now he is living there and making a lot of money, by just blogging. He was noticed from online and now, hes living very comfortably and hes doing so well. I am telling you, blogging is a very powerful thing now. Anybody can see what you write and if you get lucky someone big sees it, you have it made. All the best to you and your blogging journey. I know its hard, but you will get there someday, I know that for sure. Enjoy blogging, and enjoy what you do. All the best!

Social Media & Networking – How Communications Has Advanced

In Recent years the internet has become the biggest communication hub of the world and news, photos, videos, information, history, various topics, and blogs are transmitted around the world in an instant and it has advanced far more than television in itself. I am sure there are still people who get their news from the newspaper and television, but now majority of us receive e-mails, go on news websites and etc… Social Networking has been booming a lot since Myspace, Hi5, Asian Avenue, Migente, Black Planet, Bebo, were very popular, and now Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, and all those other Social Networking websites that has given communications quite the boost with reconnecting with friends from back in the day, school mates, meeting people around the world, spending time on the internet with so many hubs of communication. In about a couple of weeks from now, I will be attending a social media, Social networking conference and discussion evening, and there will be a lot of information that is going to benefit me and my friends who will also attend. It is very good to have these discussions as now, everything almost revolves around the internet and communications, so you could really learn a lot. There will also be talks about effective blogging, how to blog, The ins and outs of social media. Networking is super important these days. Businesses use facebook, linkedin, pinterest, and twitter to advertise, and to gain customers and clients. Now a lot of companies have facebook as their official website as almost one billion people over the world are on facebook, and that is a huge number and the numbers are increasing by day. Thank you to Mark Zuckerberg and his team for giving us a great communications tool.

Every time I hear about Social Media and Networking, I get excited because it is surely my cup of tea and I really enjoy this subject very much. It has that professionalism to it and yet its a fun subject to share and raise awareness about it. Now, that blogging websites are up, now that its become easy for us all to advertise and to share with the world, who we are, what we do, and where we come from, It is nice to share with the world, and gain knowledge, understanding, and to share opinions. I know that each blogger and each person who writes has a purpose and I know everyone does something for a reason. When you are passionate about something and when you feel the need to share who you are, your strengths, your talents, and the way you portray yourself, is something so great. You don’t want to hide behind closed doors all your life and not share who you are, and what your talents are or else you will waste your talent and you will waste away the time and that is not good. Now that social networking, communications, social media, society has made is simple for people to get out there and show to the world who you are, then its time to get out there and show yourself and show who you are. I know were always afraid to overshare things, but that is what social networking is and do not be afraid to show yourself to the world, and what you are capable of doing. Social networking is a big subject and it can be summarized in so many ways. As long as you know what you’re doing and as long as you are safe about it, go ahead and do it.

Communications has advanced so much that, within seconds information is transmitted and received by so many people using the internet day in and day out. It has become part of life and growth of many things. Create a LinkedIn Profile, Create a Twitter handle, Create A Pinterest Account. Get in on the action, make some noise, make yourself heard, advance yourself in the world, make your name well-known, enjoy your blog, enjoy writing, enjoy social networking and media. It is a great thing. Thinking about it in a negative way is not so good. I know too much of it isn’t good either and nothing beats being outside in actual society to be social, but this is also great too. You can meet so many people, and the sky is the limit. When you have networking and when someone sees you online and are interested, you have it made and it is the greatest feeling ever to be discovered by so many people across all continents like it has for me. Do not be afraid to dot your I’s and cross your T’s and don’t be afraid to write what you feel, and make it a goal to write everyday or when you can, and be committed to it.

I love what I do, I love social networking, I love blogging, blogging is so therapeutic for me and every passing day I learn so many new things from people who comment, from the internet, and I learn a lot about my capabilities, abilities, and about myself and my strengths. I blog because I love it and I blog because I like making a difference in the world and I have my own purpose in life to improve everyday on my blogging and writing skills as we all are. I am learning from my mistakes and that is how you do learn. Never lose faith on Social networking and involve yourself with great things, persevere to great lengths to succeed, to make a difference, to get out there in the world and do the best you can and you will see the progress you will make. Impacting society in a positive and great way is a sign of success and a sign of happy times to come. So enjoy it and appreciate social media.

All the best and enjoy this journey.

I Love Being Called A Human GPS – I Only Learn Once

One day almost 12 years ago when I turned 16, I remember passing my written computer driver exam to get my first License, in Ontario it is called the G1, Graduated licensing system that Ontario put into place, and I got out of the driver examination office excited and jumping around saying I passed I passed, it was a great experience. Not even a week later I started driving around and learning from my Dad, then I went to driving school, then I obtained the G2 license. After that I started driving on my own without supervision, and it was so incredible, and I started going to places and remembering where I am going and all it took is once for me to drive somewhere and I learned it very quickly. My dad and so many others say you have a gift of being strong and recognizing directions. In the last few years, I have been called the Human GPS (Global Positioning System), and that made me feel incredible to know that people trust in me in directions. I go to a place once and I am all set. The first time I need help to get somewhere, so I resort to my GPS, but then the second, third, forth time I go, I don’t need it anymore. I also love explaining directions in detail and they love it.

It is one thing to be a passenger and one thing to be driver. I have always observed even when I am a passenger and I learned a lot quicker, but when you get to really drive, its a lot more different because your the controller of the car, steering, brakes, and everything and people trust in you to make the right judgements when changing lanes, which way to go and often times your passengers sometimes tell you where to go if your dropping someone off at home or somewhere else, and among so many things, and its really important to observe always and remember where you go. Exercise your brain and always be aware of where you are. I always do and I have success always. I remember taking a friend home once and picking her up, she explained to me once how to get there, and now I don’t need to have a GPS Anymore. I love driving and I love driving responsibly.

When I got my full license called the G license 4 almost 5 years ago, I started to develop that special drivers eye, and started developing more skills in driving, and being more experienced. As I got all that experience, I started making long trips, and gaining confidence in myself to park, to reverse park and more. It feels amazing to know that people trust in me to give directions and no one has been lost. I feel like a Human Onstar and Navigation Voice in cars. I remember one time when I was heading to Montreal many years ago, believe it or not, I memorized all the exits, towns and cities all the way to Montreal from Toronto, and people were amazed at the names I was giving out during a conversation with someone who was going to Montreal and I gave it in the right order, not scrambling it all up. It felt incredible.

I cannot even begin how much I love being called a Human GPS. It feels great. If you want to know how to keep your memory and how to get somewhere without being lost the second or third time, just always remember the surroundings, a certain building around, a store name, an intersection, remembering the left, rights, straights, All very important and create a photographic memory in your mind, and just observe very closely. Then you too will become a Human GPS. Sometimes people go somewhere 10 times and don’t remember. Take extra time to familiarize yourself with the surroundings. It always works for me. I love it.

All the best to you all! Be safe on the roads and focus while driving.

Cutting Corners is Not A Way To Succeed

In this life there are so many businesses and companies that have been lacking in some things and one of them are cutting corners meaning that they mostly care about making money and increasing their bank accounts rather than thinking about the client, buyer, customer, passenger. It is a terrible thing to cut corners, to make cuts here and there, the quality of material’s have significantly gone down, as well as other important things that keep a business afloat and they should think about quality before quantity. I know as life goes on products, materials and the way companies work is disintegrating and its hard to find reliability anymore and good honest workers.

There are great honest workers out there, but there are some who slack off, who do not want to do the work, who cut corners, and don’t take extra care in the work they do and it is alarming. Carnival Cruise Lines has had 4 ships in recent months that has had similar propulsion, electric engine problems on the ships and instead of cruise lines building bigger and gigantic ships to set a world record, they should concentrate more on the interior parts, such as the engine, propellers and things that keep ships going. Cruise lines should offer all-inclusive non-alcoholic beverages, they should give you photos on the cruise ship they take of you as complimentary as part of your cruise, lower cruise costs, and stop cutting corners. This goes for any company and business.

Its been alarming me these last few months hearing about these cruise lines, hearing about a few companies lacking and the material they make. the cans of coke have deteriorated, the boxed food has been lacking and so flimsy, and the bags with pasta, popcorn you get from the store are so fragile. you have to be so careful with the products and plastic bags have been lacking too. I know it’s all about environment to save, to cut back on certain costs, to save the worlds resources, and costs of living are going up higher and products have been going under. However, these big corporations need to come up with ways to have quality back into their products and not cut corners.

There are still people who work very hard, who are honest, and who work day in and day out who are bread winners of the family, who put sweat, time and tears into their work, there are still so many dedicated workers and some of those people do not even get acknowledged for the hard work they do and I can assure you, I appreciate each and everyone of you for sacrificing, working and doing so much for your life and for your loved ones. You all are great, and congratulations for a job well done.

There are people who lazy around, who go on breaks so much, who slack off and who don’t do much and yet a lot of them get praised for it and whilst people who do work hard get shafted and bosses, managers get them to work harder then the lazy people who should not even be employed.

I know it is easier said than done, but cutting corners just won’t have any business, company or corporation succeed, even in homes, buildings, building material and the construction that has been performed on homes, condominiums, industrial buildings to compromise and put people in danger. Honest work is the best work, and when you are honest with your clients, customers it is the best way to get through anything and everything will be great. Cutting corners just won’t do any justice, and sooner or later the truth will come out and a lot of people will not be very pleased. Be honest from the beginning, and everything else will fall into place later. Honesty is always the best policy in everything in life. No matter what it is.

What do you think should be done with all the cutting back and what do you think about cutting corners? what do you believe should be done?

Just Because You Have A Bad Day, Doesn’t Mean Your Life Is.

I recently saw a really interesting picture quote saying “Just Because You have a bad day, doesn’t mean you have a bad life”. I really like that quote so much. Life will always have its ups and downs and we cannot control that. Life will bring happiness, disappointments, frustrations, confusions, misunderstanding, jealousy, fortune, fortunate situations, unfortunate situations, different feelings, emotions, bad days, good days, you name it. I think it is very important to realize that just because you have a bad day, don’t go around saying you have a bad life and your life is not going to get any better, bad things always happen to me, the wrong people always come around me, I am always stuck in a middle of a bad situation, My life is gone to the drain. These things should not be even said. Life is here for a purpose, you are here for a reason on this earth. You were not put on earth for no reason. God chose you.

Life is an incredible and wonderful thing. Life is beautiful only if you make it beautiful. Never ever under-estimate your life. Life is a great thing. Believe in me when I say this, just because something is not happening for you right now, it does not mean it ever will. You have to be patient. There is a right time for everything and there is a time for everything in life in balancing work, school, family, friends, community outreach programs, outings, parties, vacations, house work, cooking, and much more. Never say you have a terrible life. It is all in your mind. It is mind over matter and matter over mind. Never look at life as a glass half empty. Always look at it half full.

Tumblr is such a great tool and it helps me so much to find clever and incredible quote pictures and sayings. This one really hit me hard and I had to address this situation as I have heard people around me many times saying they have a bad life, and that Life really sucks and everything. Life does not suck. It is all just an illusion in your mind for you to think that way. Never think that way because when you think in a certain way about something it will always mean it that way to you. Do not think so much about it. Life is a great gift. We go to sleep, we wake up and were alive is all that matters. Life is a precious thing. It is all in the way you look at it. Never ever sell yourself short on anything and especially about what you think of what your life is. Where is that positive vibe? Use positivity everyday in your life and use that energy. It will take you places in life. If your too negative and always telling people about how bad your life is, it will not get you far.

Just wake up every morning and keep smiling and be happy your alive and kicking. Life is about waking up in the morning being amazing and positive during the day and going back to bed. Remember some people do not get another day. everyday is a second chance. Keep up your chin, keep your head up high, aim high, stand tall and keep on going!

Are You A Twitter User? Do You Tweet A lot?

Since a few years back when twitter was introduced to the social media world, a lot of people found out about the website and began to sign up for it twitter is a website where you can update statuses of 140 Characters or less, put links, photos and share news of the world, sharing travel, social media and other news and as well as people who are interested in so many things. Then on the left side menu you see topics trending and newest updates of the world, and you can even choose local trends in your own country. I am beginning to really like twitter a lot. You can interact with many people, companies, and post your feelings, small quotes, and update your twitter status as much as you like, you can re-tweet interest statuses. You can follow up to 2001 people, but twitter has this guideline that if you have over 3000 people following you, then you can follow the equal amount of people.

Do you use twitter? What do you use it for? Do you use it to boost your business? Do you use it for personal use? Well, whatever it is, its amazing. You can search me at @tweetertalin and follow me, and I can update you on my blog, and among other things and interesting finds I see on twitter. I am into social media and I find the best stuff on there. I love posting hashtags. Hashtags are what gets you more noticed. Say you write about social media so you write #socialmedia and it turns another colour, then when you click on social media, it will come up with things that other people are writing about that subject, and you can interact with others and reply, re-tweet, and be active with others, you can make a lot of friends on twitter, and before you know it, your follows increase, and the more you engage, interact and get out there, the more people will know about you and your skills and when they see you posting great content, people attract to you more.

If you want to interact with a person directly, say you find a username like angeleyes or sweetie47 or whatever you put @angeleyes and then you write to them a short message on their twitter and it must be less than 140 characters or else it won’t send. Twitter is an interesting place. I am always on it now, and I like to do so many things on there, and I am always talking to big companies, and they respond back. You can go to connect on the top, and you can see your interactions, people who follow you, people who mention you, then you can search for keywords, people and whatever you are interested in and boom, you can find so many people.

If you do not have a twitter account, sign up, and include that in your blog, or share it on facebook or wherever and get your friends, family, co-workers or find interesting people on twitter, follow them and just have fun with it, and that way you can get people to interact with you more. In twitter you can post a profile picture, share photos, share hashtags and find people who are interested in the same kind of things. Gaining followers can take time in the beginning and getting your twitter started up can take a little time to go around, but you will get a hang of it. All it takes is sometime and you are on your way to a great new social media interface. Have fun with it and enjoy. You will have fun updating your statuses. Tell me what you think of it.

Some people get paid to write them, some people who have never even traveled or experienced a product or something, they try and find review sites and go with what other people are saying and they do research online before writing a review and some are so good with their craft of fooling people that you do not know the difference between fake or real.

It is so important to try and stay away from reviews.

My Motherland & Beautiful Armenia & Its History

Today, I am going to talk to you about My Motherland and Beautiful Armenia.  Armenia is located between Europe and Asia. We have an incredible history of people and things. Our Alphabet has 38 letters and it was invented by one of our great inventors Mesrob Mashtotz (MES-ROB, MASH-TOTZ). We have a library called Madenataran and our important books of history are kept there and a statue of our Mesrob Mashtotz is just outside. Our very first Pontiff/Pope of Armenia was St Gregory the Illuminator, in Armenian we say (Sourp Krikor Lousavorich). He was falsely imprisoned in a hole for 13 years under this church called Khor Virab (KHO-R VEERAB), and from this Church Monastery you can see the Mount Ararat which was once Armenia’s Property and I still think to this day it is still ours. It is where the Noah’s Arc came to rest. Mount Ararat was stolen from Armenia and it’s lands from the Turkish Government. in April 24, 1915, The Armenian Genocide happened and 1.5 Million Armenians were killed and massacred by the Turkish Ottoman Empire, and which they stole our lands and property. Since then we have commemorated and paid our respects to those brutally murdered in Armenian Communities around the world. In Armenia we have the Armenian Genocide Memorial, and its called Dzidzernagapert (D-ZID-ZER-NAGA-PERT). Every year on April 24th, All of Armenia’s Schools, Workplaces would be closed and everyone would go to the Memorial to place flowers all around the Eternal Flame which has never stopped. The Turkish government still fails to recognize their crimes against Armenia and its been an ongoing struggle for the Armenians, but we sure will not give up and we will continue to protest every year until justice is served for our people who’s lives we lost. I have friends whose families in the past have been through the Genocide. There are still Survivors to this day, but Very few left in the world. Armenia’s Capital city is Yerevan. It is located in the heart of Armenia.

Our Armenia flag has 3 colours, Red, Blue and Orange. Armenia has so many different types of produce and food. Armenia’s national fruit is the Apricot (Dziran) (D-ZEE-RAN), and as well as the Pomegranate. We also have the freshest Cherries, Grapes and Watermelons.  Armenia has a beautiful lake called Sevan. I remember going there a couple of times, to swim and take in the beauty of Armenia. We have incredible monasteries and churches such as St Etchmiadzin, St Mary, Haghardzin, St Hripsime, Garni, Geghard, Saghmosavank, and so much more. We have incredible Cafes, and restaurants, we have incredible fashion stores, Armenian Cognac and different types of Liquor Factories, Kotayk Beer, Coca Cola Bottles written in Armenian letters, Wonderful tasting Ice creams. Armenia is beyond rich in History.

When I was a child., I began to learn a lot about my culture, heritage, history, Alphabet, to learn how to speak it, to read and write Armenian, my parents sent me to Armenian Saturday School. When I graduated grade 8 in 1999, and it was the first year from the Armenian Saturday school trip that we embarked on a trip to our Motherland Armenia on July 21st, 1999. We flew with Air Canada to Paris, France Charles De Gaule Airport, where we toured Paris for a good 10 hours, then we headed back to the Airport to take Armenian Airlines (Which is now Armavia) right to our Motherland Armenia. I will never forget the feeling when I landed on Armenia’s Soil. I kissed the ground and I felt so different being there. All around me are Armenian Letters, Armenian Speaking people, and everything I learned in school came right before my eyes. It was an incredible journey and experience of a lifetime and I will never forget it. At times when I was in Armenia, I felt very homesick with my first time taking a trip without my parents as beforehand all the traveling was done with my parents. My cousins also had come with me and it was a great experience. To this day, I still remember everything so fresh in my mind ,and everything was incredible. After Armenia, we took Armenian Airlines to Frankfurt Germany, where we were there for 6 hours. Then we flew Lufthansa back to Toronto, Canada where our families were waiting anxiously for us in the waiting area of the Airport.

I had arrived to Toronto, but my luggage was left behind in Germany. I had so many things and souvenirs I had packed in my luggage and I got so upset. About a few days later, my luggage was found and later brought back to Toronto on another flight. All my things were safe and nothing was broken thankfully because I had packed them very well and I had already become an experienced and good packer. I have kept my boarding passes, tickets and everything from my Armenia trip and I have created a Special Armenia box with everything in it. Later than I began to join Armenian clubs, youth committees and trying to do everything I can to keep my Heritage alive and to this day, I still do. I love being Armenian and I am a proud to be one. If you have the chance and if your making travel plans, make sure Armenia is on your list. In terms of getting a visitors Visa, you can get it right from Armenia’s Airport called Zvartnotz. You do not need any special vaccinations, shots to enter Armenia. It is very safe and clean. Armenia people are so friendly and helpful and they will accommodate your every need.. Visit Armenia. Its beautiful. for more information and if you want to know more, search the internet and you will find photos, history, background and so much more.

Shunoragalem (SHEN-ORA-GAL-EM) in Armenian means Thank you.

Traveling Pen-Pals – Are You Still In Touch With Them?

I remember when I was a child, I first traveled on a plane with Royal Airlines which is no longer in service back in mid 90′s, I remember traveling to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico when I met new friends on the plane and I got their phone numbers and address, and I kept in touch with them for 3-4 years and then we drifted apart, and then I remember going to Florida, in Daytona Beach, and I had gone there for 2 weeks for Christmas and New Years, and I met great people from England, United Kingdom and we had seen each other and hung out with each other quite a bit and then we ended up getting each others address, and phone numbers, but we only sent each other mail and became pen-pals and sent pictures to each other. We still keep in touch since 1997. As the years went by, and my travels increased, I ended up meeting so many different people in the world and I still keep in touch with people I met from Russia, England, Armenia, Vancouver, in other parts of Ontario, Canada where I met them on my trips, and it was so awesome. We have each other on Facebook and we have each others e-mails and its such a great thing.

When you travel around the world, you meet so many different people with different views and lifestyles on life, and the way people see things and different opinions, and its so good. Travel and People experience has been part of my life since day one. I love being social and interactive with so many people. When I travel, I tend to bring up subjects and meet random people when I am at resorts, cruise ships, planes and airports. This last trip I did go on however, it was quite different, we all spoke and kept bumping into each other and met some really cool folks, but I ended up not getting any  phone numbers, e-mails, addresses. I don’t know what happened to me this time, but I had written a review on trip advisor online and one of them spotted me and my pictures, and she wrote to me and said Hi remember me from the hotel? I said Oh yes I do, She said I am sorry we didn’t get each others contacts, but thank goodness you wrote something on our hotel we stood at or else I would have never found you. You had told me your name, but I wouldn’t have known how to spell it to begin with, so she said I am glad I checked. So at least I am keeping in touch with one of the people I met now.

I had always carried around a small notebook and pen with me in my little purse around the hotel in case I met someone interesting, nice and great, but I never got to asking them. I was just so excited to be away and enjoy the hotel and everything else. There are so many people you meet, some you see again, some you don’t get to see again. I miss my friends in United Kingdom, Russia, and other places. I want to see them again and soon. Hopefully. Have you had a pen-pal? Do you still keep in touch with people whom you have traveled with or have met while you have been abroad? Have you kept your bonds strong with your travel pals?

Would love to hear from you.

All the best!

Taking Everything Step By Step To The Top Of The Ladder.

In Life, I strongly believe that when we work hard and to get to where we want to be in life, we must take things step by step to get to the top of the ladder. There is no such thing as starting from the top. Learning the tricks of the trade and doing the best we can in life is what is important. Some of us may not succeed in the beginning, but never give up because you failed, keep doing it and you will see positive and really great results. Put it in your mind that you will do this, talk to yourself, and look at yourself in the mirror every morning and think to yourself, for example: Hi Good morning, My Name is Talin, I am going to do something positive and learn something new today and do the best of my ability and not leave things to do today. I will not leave things for tomorrow, because tomorrow you never know what it brings. when you have the opportunity to do something today, do not leave it for tomorrow. Prioritize your life. what is important first, then you do everything else after. Everything in life takes steps, and sometimes we need to take a few steps back in order to move forward. How will you know when you don’t try? We can’t just take the easy way out and say I give up, I can’t do this. That is not a good way to approach life, and that is a recipe of failure. Giving up and saying I can’t do it. Snap out of that phase and take a look at yourself. You can do everything and anything you want to do. Just keep going and doing something that will benefit you. Why put yourself in that predicament? Why make yourself depressed and put yourself down?

Yes things happen sometimes that are not in our control and things can happen that may prevent us from moving forward to success, but do not let those obstacles get in the way of where you want to be in life. take sometime for yourself, think about what you want to do in life, and spend some quality alone time with you and just brainstorm ideas without disturbance. make a list of things you want to do in your life, whether its traveling to your favourite places, whether its something you want to do with your home, or something for others, helping yourself, helping others. make a positive list and jot down all the ideas you have and things you want to accomplish and put it somewhere in your house where you will constantly see it and go from there. Nothing is more incredible than setting positive goals which can help us in the long run. So think about it and go with the flow.

You can do it, you just have to discipline yourself and snap out of negative thoughts. When negativity takes over, things become dull in life. Don’t do that to yourself. Get up stand up, take can control of your life and don’t give energy to things that don’t matter. That Ladder is not going to climb itself. :) So get on it! get into the groove! Love yourself and do good things for yourself. You will see the big change in your life. Just do it! All the best to you! You have my support and encouragement.
