I Want To Be Your Moon Because I Want To Shine Brightness On Your Darkest Days Of Your Life

In life, we all have our moments of darkness when unfortunate things happen to us such as losing a loved one, being bullied by others, when we lose a job, when other bad things happen, and I am sure we all have our problems in life and we just want to find ourselves after such a terrible ordeal we’ve had in our lives. Do you ever wonder when you will find brightness even in the darkest hours and days of your life? Do you have feel like you will never find that light again because of the unfortunate things going on in your life? Your loved ones will help guide you and your true friends will stick by you too. I know this is going to sound strange coming from a blogger, but I am also here too. I want to be the moon to you because I want to shine brightness on your darkest days of your life, I want to be there for you, and if you have anything you want to talk about and if you have something on your mind that you want to share and everything, I am here to listen and I will do the best of my ability to give you advice and get you back on your feet. This morning, I found this quote on Facebook and It is such a powerful quote and it got me to think about how so many people in this world now are living in darkness because now there are so many problems happening in our world and it keeps on increasing. Never forget Me Talin Orfali, I am here for everyone and I want to be the moon in your lives. Never forget these words I say to you because I mean it and stick by to my words especially when it comes to making a difference in someones life, making positive and happy changes to ones life. It is what I am about and it is my life’s motto. I am very passionate about people, and I detest discrimination in every way. I have always told my family and friends, that I am here for you in your darkest days and in the brightest days, and they know that they can confide in me and tell me everything that is going on in their lives and they do tell me everything and that makes me feel great because they know that they can always trust me.

Anybody can trust me because I never share anyone’s problems with others and I keep it all to myself and when people request that they don’t want something shared or a secret to be told to anyone, I never blab and I never open my mouth to anyone because that is not my style and that is not how I was raised. I keep all that to myself and nobody ever knows about it because it is not cool to blab out things that were told to me in confidence. Now my friends respect me more because of that and because they know they can trust me. I really like that and I want to be the same friend to you all and I want to do the same not only for my family and friends, but I want to do it for you all too. If you have anything that you need to talk about, never hesitate. I want to make positive and happy changes in this world.

This world is in dire need of a make-over and I want to be one of the people to make a difference and I want to help the community around me and eventually all over the world. I know I keep bringing up that I want to get on television shows and having these big dreams of one day making it into the big world, but I have my reasons and the reasons being is that I want to do this for humanity and for society and as a human being I want to get out there and do my part in the world, I want to know and feel to myself that I have done my duty and my part in the world, not because I need to do it, but because I want to do it. There is a big difference in needing and wanting and I really want to do it, I really want to get out there and do this for our world and our lifestyles. It is very important to me and I will not give up no matter what comes in my way and whatever obstacle there will be to prevent me from doing so, and that will not stop me. I will always find a way to be the moon on the darkest days of peoples lives, because that’s just my style.

The Costa Concordia Cruise Ship Tragedy, Hit Me Really Emotionally…

As I had woken up, I decided to do my regular daily routine by getting on the computer and checking my e-mail, but I decided to check out the news, and I saw a headline that a Cruise Ship had capsized, and I right away clicked on it, and I was just in shock, I could not believe what I was seeing on the computer. I thought it was something out of a movie, but unfortunately it is real. I cannot even begin to describe how I am feeling for the Costa Concordia Cruise Ship tragedy that happened on January 14, 2012 off the coast of Italy in the Mediterranean Sea. My heart feels heavy for all those people involved in such a terrible ordeal. I am glad 4000 people were evacuated and are safe, but I feel for those who have not been found yet and unfortunately those who lost their lives. I have not stopped thinking about this since I heard about it. I started to cry and my emotions on this was on the rise.

Having been on the same Cruise Ship Company on another Cruise Ship called Costa Atlantica, and among other Cruise lines in the industry, this news even hit me harder as I have been on these huge ships before. I cannot believe how scared and eery I have been feeling the last 24-48 hours since this terrible tragic thing that happened. Now I am thinking about how all these people are going to go home without travel documents, how they will be salvaging peoples belongings, how they will even raise this enormous and a 135,000 ton ship. I know this may put a big scar on the cruise ship industry and now people may not travel with cruises anymore, and I wouldn’t blame people who are looking to travel. I know this is a very scary thing, but I really enjoy cruising and visiting so many countries all at once. This definitely will not deter me from cruising again as I have had a passion from cruise ships and cruising and for several years this has been part of my life.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those and all the families.

Organization is Key When Traveling…

Do you pack your luggage or baggage without organizing it?

Do you just toss things in your luggage or baggage without thinking what or where am I going to wear this or use this?

Organization is key when packing when you go away. First off think of the duration you will stay somewhere, think of the clothes, accessories you will need. I am the person who doesn’t like to wear the same thing everyday, so I tend to pack a little extra. You never know what happens. So Always pack a little more extra because you maybe stuck toward the end of the trip or in between saying, “I knew I should have packed more stuff”. It doesn’t matter if you go away for a day, two days, 3 days, a week, a month, 6 months, pack according to your duration, but pack enough so you won’t feel uncomfortable.

Toilettries, Medication, make up, hair stylers, earrings, necklaces, shoes, other purses/bags…

These are often tricky to decide, but Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Shampoo, Perfume, and other important things.

Make up, hair stylers — Make sure you make room for those, but I usually pack make up in my carry on bag…

Necklaces, shoes, purses/bags, earrings and other jewellery, if your a woman/girl — we love our jewellry, pack several of them because you may decide, No i dont wanna wear this one. I should have brought the other pair, so bring a lot with you, so that you wont get stuck once again…

The baggage/luggage size — According to where you are traveling and how long you are traveling, judge for yourself how big or small you want your suitcase to be. I usually take about a medium size when I travel Around CANADA/USA — when I travel overseas or caribbean or something, I bring a large… I seldomly use a small suitcase. But keep in mind the Airline Weight and Luggage size Policies. Some Airlines you must pay, and some airlines you must pay for an extra checked bag. I do not know why. before this issue was never brought to our attention. I guess things change….

Well, that is it for now, but Organization is very important when you travel… Pack enough so you wont be stuck — It doesn’t hurt to have extra things with you. You may or may not need it, but its good. So light packers, Pack a little more… It saves you in the long run.

I Hope to Meet My Brothers and Sisters of RADIO AGA Soon…

In Early 2009, I joined this wonderful website and Radio Station Family, Called Radio AGA. AGA Stands from Armenian, Greek and Arabic, and those are the types of music this wonderful Radio Station plays. Our Founder and Brother of Radio AGA Jack Kojek, is an incredible person, whom I have had the pleasure of meeting a few times since then. He is a vibrant, energetic, and wonderful person and I wish him continued success with everything he does.

I have met many of my brothers and sisters of RADIO AGA, but I have yet to meet so many others from parts of US, Canada, Europe and all other places. Too many to mention. We have established a community to chat with each other on the wall on the Facebook page with over 7,000 members. Recently, I have not been able to be as active as I have been on the discussions, but I try to get on there as much as I am able to. I love my Radio AGA Family and I do not want them to think that I have forgotten about them, which I certainly have not. They are beautiful people I have spoken with online and we have become great friends. I am hoping to one day cross paths with them and meet each other face to face to create more memories. It is very awesome to meet people you speak to for a long time and actually meet them. Its an emotional moment. I had that last summer when I visited Montreal for a Summer Fest party. It was a special moment that I will never forget.

Radio AGA has become an important and integral part of my life. When I thought I didn’t have friends, they definitely made a big difference in my life, gave me so much hope, faith, love, and thats how I have become more positive and optimistic about life. I have so much to be thanful for, God works in Mysterious ways to get me to people whom I call My brothers and sisters.

I know probably some of you will not understand Armenian, Greek and Arabic music, but if you like to join our family on RADIO AGA and tune in to listen to the beats, and rythyms, feel free to do so. You will automatically be part of our Family in our RADIO Community. All are welcome.

Healthy Hearty French Toast

I know you may think french toast is full of carbs and calories, but really it isn’t… Not when you have 100% whole wheat bread…

My recipe for a great tasting french toast…

get whole wheat toast… People get 100% Whole Wheat and Multigrain mixed up….

Multigrain can still have a high amount of calories… 100% Whole wheat or Whole Grain is the way to go.

It depends how many you make for yourself. whether it is 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 of them…

Make sure you have enough eggs to cover it all…

If you make 3 toasts, cover them with 2 beat eggs….

If you have 4 french toasts, beat 3 eggs… Incorporate that with the yellow yolks too..

When beating the eggs, you have the option of adding cinnamon to add flavour or vanilla extract…

If you watch your calorie intake, then use low sugar syrup or add REAL PURE Honey (Not those billy bee imitation honey)…

With french toast you can cut up banana’s, apples, you can put blueberries, strawberries, rasberries to get your fruit intake…

You can have a glass of Orange juice or have a cup of coffee or tea to your preference, and voila!!! A HEART Breakfast!

Bon Apetit!

Armenian Pizza – Recipe — In Armenian It’s Called Laghmajoun (Mesa-Shod)

Due to Popular Demand and People wanting to know how to make this delicious Armenian dish, I’d like to welcome you to today’s recipe. They call it Armenian Pizza,

We have other words for it such as, Laghmajoun, Lahmajoun, Mesashod — For the correct pronounciation (MES-A-SHOWED) (LAG-MA-JUNE)

Ingredients.

  • Ground Beef (you can substitute Ground beef for Lamb Grounds, but GROUND BEEF is a lot tastier)
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Tomato
  • Pepper

How to Make…. (Credit — http://allrecipes.com/recipe/lahmahjoon-armenian-pizza/ )

Place ground lamb or ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and break into small pieces until mostly browned. Drain any excess grease. Add the onion, green pepper, and garlic. Cook until onion is translucent. Stir in diced tomatoes and tomato paste, then season with parsley, basil, mint, cumin, and if using, cayenne. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and refrigerate overnight to blend the flavors.

  •                     Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Distribute the lamb mixture evenly over the tortillas, and spread out to the edges. Place the tortillas onto a baking sheet.
  •                     Bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from the oven and place the lahmahjoons onto a large piece of aluminum foil so that two of them are meat side to meat side, then stack the pairs together, and bring the foil up over the top to keep warm. These can be served hot or cold. Cut into small wedges.
