Don’t Be Discouraged – Always Look Forward

In life when were going through life, a lot of people if not all people want to be a number of things when they grow up, they have ambitions, dreams, and talents. Everyone has different skills, needs, qualities, potential, and personal goals to attain and fulfill in life. Unfortunately some do not get to enjoy, fulfill and succeed in life because their lives were cut short and its a terrible thing.  Everyone has great qualities about themselves, and sometimes some peoples progress, and going to the next step takes a lot longer than others, but never be and let others discourage on how slow a progress you are making. At least you have continual progress that is not stopping and you are trying your best and doing your best. Always look forward in life. I know things in life happen without you least expecting it, traumatic and tragic things can happen in ones life, but never let that be a discouragement . The sign of failure means that you are trying. Nobody is a failure. You might fail at doing somethings, but never make that into a weakness. Make it something that you can work on more harder and if at first you do not succeed, try it again and again. Never stop. Failure means success in the long run. Just remember that.

Remember if people are trying to bring you down, that only means you are above them and if people are spending so much time talking about you, talking to you, talking about your weaknesses, putting you lower, and not trying anything to put your spirits up, and not encouraging you that means that they are not true friends at all, that means that they are only trying to hide their failures and flaws about them and not sharing it. In the end everyone has their own pace, their own time to learn, to grow, to experiment, to experience and to succeed. You can do anything you put your mind to, and never be discouraged. Things always happen and come up in life, but never lose sight of your dreams and all the plans you look forward to in the future. It is always great to make plans while you are living day to day.

Never lose yourself, don’t listen to negative people, don’t ever let anybody always try to find faults and things wrong about you, do not give anybody the satisfaction of pessimism. Be optimistic, be ambitious, keep dreaming, keep working on attaining your goals. It might take longer than others but hey at least you are getting there, at least your not stopping for anybody or anything. It is the worst thing you can do for yourself is to let others walk all over you and to mess with you. Never do that. Before others judge, and say things to you out of turn or give you advice, but the wrong type, let them look at themselves in the mirror, let them focus on themselves before pointing fingers, and being judgmental. In my previous blog, I was talking about being strong, and surround yourself with positive and great people who will encourage you, who will lift you up.

encouraging, confidence boosters, kind, nice, sweet, positivity, optimism these are the things you should surround yourself with, and never let anyone tell you, you cannot do it, because you can do it. Everything is possible in life, but unfortunately satisfying everyone is just the only impossible thing in the world. In the end you know who you are, you know what you are capable of, you know your limitations, you know yourself the best, you are your individual person. Keep your head up high, lift yourself up, and never sell yourself short and put yourself down. Keep smiling, and all the very best to you. Lastly, Do not ever be discouraged!

Social Media Awareness – T-H-I-N-K – The Acronym That Stood Out

In recent months I have been writing a lot about this subject about social media, and it is one of the biggest hot topics of this day in age and mostly everything is revolved around social media, promotions, advertising, and so much more that we make social media. Nowadays there are clever ways to advertise and get viewership rolling, making photo acronym’s and there are so many quotes out there that makes people think and social media is one of the biggest ones and all to do with success, business and so much more. Now, what stood out to me the most was this great acronym that says, THINK.

Now, before you Tweet, Facebook, Pin It, Tumblr It, text it, send photos, or do anything with Social Media think of this:

T – is it true?

H – is it helpful?
I – is it inspiring?
N – is it necessary?
K – is it kind?

We all want to protect our credibility, reputation and ourselves ultimately and this acronym is something that certain people should be reading and thinking about literally, and ultimately we are responsible for what we post because anybody on the internet can see it, and anybody who searches online for a certain word, phrase or something they can come to your site and you either gain fans or you do not. It all depends on how your portray yourself. It is important to think if it is kind and necessary to post. I feel that social media has gone way out of context of over sharing. How much is too much when it comes to sharing? I have seen twitter messages that people post when they have their bowel movements, they even post what they are doing 24 hours a day. I find that to be way too much information that does not need to be on the internet.

Now with our words are we really moving mountains? Are we inspiring people? Are we helping people in positive and great ways? Is something we post true? I think it is something that is up to us individually on what we want to post, but we should be cautious about what we post and the content. This acronym is something that really has been on my mind for quite some time now and it has put social media in my life into perspective, and it has given me so much inspiration and so much food for thought to share this acronym with those who may or may not have seen or heard about it before. Are we really hurting our future with the material and content we produce online? Remember what you post online is there forever and even if you delete and remove things, it will always be there on the internet database.

Are there things you have seen online that have been terrible and written, drawn, Photoshopped or created a terrible meme about other people? Have you seen blogs, comments, and websites that bully others? The internet can be a great place and sometimes the internet is not such a great place. Also not everything should be taken as a joke. There is a time and place for everything and there is a time for humour, a time for seriousness, but in the end everything has its limitations. It depends on individuals and how they utilize it. Being kind, helpful and inspiring is something that everyone should exercise in always doing. I know sometimes people may not be on the same page about a certain topic, people may not always agree on things, but there is always a pleasant way to handle it, and there are ways to approach things in a great and peaceful manner where then everything will be great in the end. Just simply say “I am going to have to disagree on that, this is how I think about something or this is my feeling or take on it”, or this is what I would have done differently or said something differently. There is no need to use vulgar, profane language to others, where it can be kind and dealt with in a civil manner.

What Is In A Blog? Why Do We Blog?

In this day in age, social media, blogging, and networking is booming and blooming like wildflowers, a lot of places on the internet now have blogs. There are all sorts of blogs out there, some for personal use, business, hobby, interest, travel, food, recipes, pleasure, topics of the world, issues, life, advertising, writing about a product, introducing an artist and getting yourself out there for the world to know about you and who you are and what your purpose of a blog is. Blogging is such a huge thing now in our generation, in just a few clicks and writing a username and password, your on your way to making a blog. To me, blogging is therapeutic, its where I am able to write about my feelings, write about issues, introducing others, promoting someone or something. Before even starting with WordPress, I did a lot of thinking before I started this blog site, I said what will I use it for? How will I contribute to the world with my words? Will they be read? Will they be noticed? Will my content be read by so many people? Will my blog be successful? I asked myself several questions before dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s. I am glad I made the decision to say yes and start my journey in blogging. I am glad and happy on where it has taken me. The world now is filled with bloggers like us.

I have had my ups and downs in the past year and few months into my blog, but that didn’t stop me from pursuing my dreams and making a difference in peoples lives with my words with positive approach on life, to always be optimistic, happy, and enjoy life. That is one of the main reasons why I started to blog in the first place, but then as I went on, I started to post recipes of my favourite dishes, invested time in other topics, issues, and about technology, social media, and among so many other topics that came to mind. Ladies and Gentlemen, writing is a very difficult thing to do, but it doesn’t matter when it comes to blogging, how to write, the content, structure, the topic, the title, tagging your post. I know its supposed to be done well, but it really doesn’t have to. It depends on individuality, how you want your writings done, how you want your blog website to be portrayed. It is all up to you and you have the freedom to structure it the way you want to, but always make it visible, easy on the eyes and easy to comment, follow and organize your blog, so that way you get more people to come, but then again its your blog and you are entitled to make it the way you want it to.

Blogging is something very incredible. When you search for keywords on the internet on major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, and all the other ones, There are several sites that come up and your blog is included into the list. Some people prefer either Wikipedia, or right on a persons blog. Someone Somewhere will click on your blog and engage into it and if they like what they see, they will follow it and they will become a member on your site and get e-mail subscriptions, they will comment, and bookmark it, and there are all kinds of people interested in all kinds of things. There are billions of people who are online now, and the sky is the limit. You never know how many people maybe viewing your blog, you never know from where, which is why I love WordPress Stats, it tells you by country, clicks, search engines, how many peoples visited, viewed, your blog counter, and amongst who has been following your blog and so much more. I love looking at the stats. Its incredible. Blogging is such a great tool and I love it. I encourage everyone to start a blog, and I encourage everyone to get started on how great social media and networking can be. To advertise your business, and to promote yourself, a blog does wonders. You never know who is looking at you. Some people go places and get far in life just by blogging.

I remember a few weeks ago I went to a party and a friend of mine approached me and said, someone I know writes movie critics on his blog, and someone from an agency or a critic from a big movie company noticed and he was offered a career path in New York City in New York and now he is living there and making a lot of money, by just blogging. He was noticed from online and now, hes living very comfortably and hes doing so well. I am telling you, blogging is a very powerful thing now. Anybody can see what you write and if you get lucky someone big sees it, you have it made. All the best to you and your blogging journey. Blogging is Great – What Do You Use It For?

On the internet there are several hundreds of thousands of blogs that are written with many subjects, topics, issues, hobbies, interests, health, wealth, business, technology and so much more. Blogging is a great way to express ones thoughts, feelings, introduce a person, products, or other things, and share with the world the content we want to whether they are success stories, whether they talk about a persons personal health issues, or something along the lines of everything we want a blog to be. You don’t have to write a big story everyday, it can be anything you want it to be, but also keep in mind that to be careful what you post. As long as it is something that does not offend or target one person, and make the reader feel that you are generalizing, then that is the way to go. Blogging is something great and I congratulate those who have them. It is something so great to see and I love reading blogs, and I enjoy learning so much from so many people. It makes the world go around.

I am so glad to see people engaging into social media and blogging is one of them where you can actually read and feel a persons life and persons opinions, suggestions, and advice they give to people who are looking for the information they want to. Why is it so important to you?  Blogging is a great way for communication and for people to take what they have off their chest and their backs to just go on and write about it and share it to the world. I would like to introduce you to an award winning and talented chef named Suman Roy. Chef Suman and I met after I joined the WordPress community, where we crossed paths and became friends. Over the years Chef Suman Roy has been on various television programs, news articles and culinary magazines. Chef Suman Roy demonstrates a passion for cooking, and the culinary industry, Chef Suman has also published a book “From Pemmican To Poutine – A Journey Through Canada’s Culinary History,”

The Early Years.

From his early days, Chef learned the most valuable lesson from George Bernard Shaw: “There is no love sincerer than the love of food.” Though this got him occasionally in a lot of trouble. Chef recalls his early days, when his father would attend the local market every morning, to get the freshest seafood and vegetables. With a few culinary steps, and the addition of a few fresh herbs and spices, these were transformed into a delicious piece of culinary art.  “Chef Suman” as he is popularly known by his apprentices and peers, learned the importance of local, sustainable, healthy cooking from his childhood days from his mother, a very renowned Chef in India.

He has apprenticed under the able guidance of many of the World’s most renowned Chefs, in Michelin Star Restaurants, The Leading Hotels of the World, and the World’s finest Kitchens.

During his more than 15 years as a renowned and creative Culinarian, Chef has traveled across the globe with culinary careers across the breadth of four continents.  All of this, and a commitment to his profession has led Chef to his current career as Corporate Executive Chef for Campbell’s Soups, a world leader in their class. was also a Chef of the Athlete’s Village for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics serving up his delicious, healthy and culturally sensitive culinary styles to some 2,600 athletes from 82 nations participating in the games. Chef Suman was nicknamed “Gourmet Alchemist” during his tenure as a Chef on the US Presidential Yacht. Chef is often finds himself confronted with this question; “What makes you different from your colleagues?” he replies Flavours… Flavours… Flavours… “It’s knowing how to marry the rich and varied International Flavours, this is an art, not a trade.”  As an avid Locavore, Chef has become as master at working with local sustainable ingredients, fusing International flavours and creating masterpieces.

Since 2006 Chef has been trying to find the answer to the question; “What is Canadian Cuisine.”  To his surprise, there has not been a consensus.  So,  he decided to travel around the country trying to define what he calls OUR CANADIAN CUISINE.  After almost 3 years of extensive research, came Chef’s award winning book, “From Pemmican To Poutine – A Journey Through Canada’s Culinary History,” which rightfully summarizes his philosophy: “Using fresh, local and in-season ingredients is the basis of much of my cooking.”  This Literary creation scored Chef two International Recognitions – The Gourmand World Cookbook Award in Paris, France in 2010, and the Cordon D’Or Culinary Academy Award in Florida, United States in 2011. Chef was also recognized by the Premier of Ontario for this magnificent creation. In 2007, Chef was awarded “Hero of Everyday Life” and “CEO’s Marketplace Excellence Award” by Sodexo, and “President’s Award” by The Escoffier Society of Toronto in recognition of his contribution to the Community. In 2008, Chef Suman was invited to be the first Chef member to sit in Toronto Food Policy Council, in recognition of his knowledge and passion towards a Greener Culinary journey. In the same year, Chef became the first Canadian Chef to be invited to visit Singapore by IE Singapore to explore the Singaporean Cuisine.  During this part of Chef’s journey, he brought back many authentic Singaporean flavours to the daily life of Canadians. Be Patient With Social Media & Networking – It Takes Time & Dedication

In this new generation and in time of social media and networking with this new age in Internet communications technology with information being transmitted in seconds all over the world with so many types of gadgets and electronic devices, I am sure business people, bloggers, advertisers, designers, web designers, those seeking employment, social marketing, promoters feel the pressure of so much competition going on around them with networking and all the time spent with promotions, making a living with billions of people on the world wide web, and As I am sure my fellow bloggers and I feel the pressure all the time. It is an interesting time we live in these days with everything simplified for us and how incredible time has changed with the new age in technology. Now although most companies want you to send an electronic mail resume and cover letter to the employer and sometimes you wonder are they deleting it or are they really reading the resume and cover letter? There maybe 200 applicants for that position. Nowadays it’s become so hard to seek employment because so many people are seeking the same things. Its become such a stressful time, but I believe that patience and getting the right networking and knowing the right people will get you there. Unfortunately it is like that now. It is not a matter of what you know anymore, it is who you know in that company or a referral.

It is just like the way it takes time to build your online profile, sometimes it takes less. It depends on how you promote yourself and how you portray yourself. It takes a lot of patience, determination, dedication to get on up there. The internet has many people, and if social networking, marketing, promotions, writing, blogging, and being a guest blogger for any company or anyone, and if it is your calling, do it, and charge people with a decent amount and do research on how much you should charge for your services, and if you are good at what you do, and how you do it, they will hire you, no problem. Hey, were all great at doing something in the world, and it is important to get yourself out there and not be afraid of taking chances and doing the best of your ability, Creating an online profile for yourself is great, a portfolio is great so that you can share your accomplishments, and when people give you blogging awards, inspirational awards, and if you are on so many peoples blog sites with ping backs, link backs, these are all a plus and when you include all this in your page, you will be praised and you will go to great lengths.

In recent weeks, I have been more interactive with my fans, and those who come to my blog and I try to reply to as many comments as I am able to. I love visiting other peoples blogs, and give them a boost. I know some people struggle to get people to come to their blogs to read what is happening in their world and what they are up to and among writing for a living and making something out of themselves. It takes a long time and I do feel what they are feeling. I started blogging in another blog provider on Google, and I was not getting anywhere and in one year I had about 5000 people only visiting my site and I felt like I was getting no where. My friend suggested WordPress and I said, let me make an account there and in no time at all, the stats kept increasing and when I began to write more and make more content, things just took off from there. I know some of my blogs require improvement on my writing style, and little bit of the grammar, but I am learning and It is never too late to learn. Social Networking is such a great tool and it will take time and effort, but working at it hard will get you to places, you wouldn’t even imagine.

Maintaining your blog, and maintaining your social networking profiles with new content, and also when you create a twitter account and know how to tweet, you will see a big difference and you will see many people and companies starting to follow you. When you are on Facebook, be mindful to know what your posting and how you are posting it. It is good to keep your standards and everything about you high. Keep your head up high, and do not write so many negative status messages and negative quotes as people pick up on it and they wouldn’t want to engage and be interested with someone who is always bringing themselves down. Bring yourself up, and always write about positivity, determination and things you are good at, and qualities that you have. It is important to put yourself out there with the right attitude, enthusiasm and mean what you say when you write positivity and when you say nice things and be kind to others, and make yourself and your reputation high, the sky is the limit and you will have so many offers and so many opportunities knocking, but it all starts with the way you portray your character and your willingness to try and do your best. You can do it, and will see how you will improve.

How you social network and how you deal with situations online will always be something people will remember and don’t be afraid to put your name out there, because your social networking profile will be like your business card and its important to put a nice and professional photo of yourself or a nice photo of you everywhere and keep that trend going. There are many websites such as facebook, twitter, pinterest, YouTube, linkedin, myspace, and more websites that will make it easy for you, but it is all up to you and in your hands on how you deal with the way you handle yourself online. When your a blogger and when your a dedicated blogger, and want to excel and do your best, engage with other authors and those who have published books in the past and contact them and ask them how its done and what is involved. The internet is the biggest research hub of the world. You can find all the tips and tricks and contact information to people. You will be amazed.

What Is Social Media To You? What Is Social Media To Me?

In this day in age and in modern society, social media is at an all time high. Most of us in the world are connected through some social media website whether its twitter, Facebook, pinterest, tumblr, WordPress, Google+, Blogger, Blogspot, MySpace, Hi5, and so many more websites out there to cater our social media, communications needs. Now social media can be used to boost business, advertising ones self, giving tips, advising people, about a hobby, society, issues, subjects, technology, and so much more. We are all in an interface of social media in some form or another. E-mail is also a part of social media.

Now, what does social media mean to me? Well, social media to me means that I can share myself with the world, that I can give my points of views about certain topics and things that happen in the world, also about targeting important subjects leading to prevention of bullying, as well as other social issues that I need to address too. Were all on a social media front and it all depends on a persons individuality, feelings, freedom of expression on certain subjects, among everything else. To me, social media is such a great tool to have. You never know who might pop by your blog, you never know who is viewing your blog and it is always a mystery and if someone from a big company or somewhere sees the great work and time you put into something and if somebody sees something interesting, they will contact you to talk about it or offer you something so incredible. It’s happened to me numerous times. I love expressing myself and social media has given me such a boost to do it.

I am not afraid to share and give out my opinions as everyone is entitled to their own opinions and people should not be penalized for it, and its great to see people share different points of views on certain subjects that can be relative to them or just simply just discussing it. I love social media because I get to meet some really great people and I get to interact with so many different types of people all at once. Its incredible how social media has boomed especially the last 5-10 years. Social media sites began as far as Asian Avenue, Migente, Black Planet, Hi5, MySpace, Geocities from Yahoo, and so many other websites I can remember from back in the day and now Facebook and Twitter are on the rise. It is incredible how social media changes. Social media always has its ups and downs, but in the end were all in it, and social media is defined in so many ways and it depends on individuality on what it means to someone.

Now its all comes down to you, what does social media mean to you? What do you use it for? for communicating with loved ones? Finding different opinions from others? looking at pictures, finding information, learning, Interacting on the internet and constantly being updated with news? I know its supposed to be done well, but it really doesn’t have to. It depends on individuality, how you want your writings done, how you want your blog website to be portrayed. It is all up to you and you have the freedom to structure it the way you want to, but always make it visible, easy on the eyes and easy to comment, follow and organize your blog, so that way you get more people to come, but then again its your blog and you are entitled to make it the way you want it to.

Blogging is something very incredible. When you search for keywords on the internet on major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, and all the other ones, There are several sites that come up and your blog is included into the list. Some people prefer either Wikipedia, or right on a persons blog. Someone Somewhere will click on your blog and engage into it and if they like what they see, they will follow it and they will become a member on your site and get e-mail subscriptions, they will comment, and bookmark it, and there are all kinds of people interested in all kinds of things. There are billions of people who are online now, and the sky is the limit. You never know how many people maybe viewing your blog, you never know from where, which is why I love WordPress Stats, it tells you by country, clicks, search engines, how many peoples visited, viewed, your blog counter, and amongst who has been following your blog and so much more. I love looking at the stats. Its incredible. Blogging is such a great tool and I love it. I encourage everyone to start a blog, and I encourage everyone to get started on how great social media and networking can be. To advertise your business, and to promote yourself, a blog does wonders. You never know who is looking at you. Some people go places and get far in life just by blogging.

I remember a few weeks ago I went to a party and a friend of mine approached me and said, someone I know writes movie critics on his blog, and someone from an agency or a critic from a big movie company noticed and he was offered a career path in New York City in New York and now he is living there and making a lot of money, by just blogging. He was noticed from online and now, hes living very comfortably and hes doing so well. I am telling you, blogging is a very powerful thing now. Anybody can see what you write and if you get lucky someone big sees it, you have it made. All the best to you and your blogging journey. I Have Finally Found My Calling – I Feel Like Celebrating & Enjoying The Moment

Today is the day I feel like celebrating and sharing my excitement with the world, There is so much I want to celebrate about and so much that I need to share with everyone. I am very happy and excited to announce that I have finally found my calling in terms of a career path and in terms of something that I thoroughly enjoy doing. It is something that I discovered since I started my world in social media, advertising, social networking, and blogging. Although My passions are about traveling, cooking and driving, and those are things I enjoy, but My calling is all about the social media, internet, social networking and blogging genres and fields. So many people have sent me personal e-mails from friends, family, fans, and everyone else who truly believes in me, I received an e-mail today which was so touching to me and it was one of the greatest e-mails ever when I opened up my inbox. This is the e-mail I received from one of my great friends from another city. I will keep her name anonymous, but this is what it said:

Dear Talin,

Since the beginning when I have subscribed to your blog, and have been following your social media path, you are such a beautiful person inside and out, you are not afraid to share with the world who you are, what you do, and your writings are wonderful, and I truly believe that this is your calling and your ultimate talent. Talin, we all have talent, we all come to this world with a strength, and God has chosen you to make a living and a career out of social media, marketing, and being a positive and influencing person in so many peoples lives. I see you have made quite a vast difference and impact in so many peoples lives, you have touched many hearts, you have that poise to inspire so many with your words. We need more people like you in this world, we need people like you in this generation of social media and communications as you are doing an excellent job in providing so much and I can see that you have dedicated a big portion of your life to blogging, and I think you found your niche. I love you so much my beautiful friend Talin. I wish you nothing but continued success in all that you do and I am one of your biggest fans. God bless you and I wish you nothing but the best in life. This was a sweet e-mail and I really cried up a storm of happy tears when I read this today. I have so much to give to society, and this realm of internet technology and more. I am not afraid of sharing, and it is a world I love, and its something that I see in other people when they give me reviews about me and what I love doing. I am doing this for myself, not because another person is telling me to do it. I believe in myself and I know that I will persevere and reach for the tops. I know it takes time and effort and finding the right connections, but I feel like my calling is now and I am not wasting another second of my life. I will keep proving myself, I will keep on working hard at what I love to do, and I will not let people give me negative remarks. I am going to celebrate my accomplishments and achievements so far and my friend who sent me that e-mail, I love you and that really touched my heart in so many ways. Thank you to everyone who believes in me, who entrusts me, who encourages, supports and puts me up and who appreciates me. I love you all very much. Be Patient With Social Media & Networking – It Takes Time & Dedication

In this new generation and in time of social media and networking with this new age in Internet communications technology with information being transmitted in seconds all over the world with so many types of gadgets and electronic devices, I am sure business people, bloggers, advertisers, designers, web designers, those seeking employment, social marketing, promoters feel the pressure of so much competition going on around them with networking and all the time spent with promotions, making a living with billions of people on the world wide web, and As I am sure my fellow bloggers and I feel the pressure all the time. It is an interesting time we live in these days with everything simplified for us and how incredible time has changed with the new age in technology. Now although most companies want you to send an electronic mail resume and cover letter to the employer and sometimes you wonder are they deleting it or are they really reading the resume and cover letter? There maybe 200 applicants for that position. Nowadays it’s become so hard to seek employment because so many people are seeking the same things. Its become such a stressful time, but I believe that patience and getting the right networking and knowing the right people will get you there. Unfortunately it is like that now. It is not a matter of what you know anymore, it is who you know in that company or a referral.

It is just like the way it takes time to build your online profile, sometimes it takes less. It depends on how you promote yourself and how you portray yourself. It takes a lot of patience, determination, dedication to get on up there. The internet has many people, and if social networking, marketing, promotions, writing, blogging, and being a guest blogger for any company or anyone, and if it is your calling, do it, and charge people with a decent amount and do research on how much you should charge for your services, and if you are good at what you do, and how you do it, they will hire you, no problem. Hey, were all great at doing something in the world, and it is important to get yourself out there and not be afraid of taking chances and doing the best of your ability, Creating an online profile for yourself is great, a portfolio is great so that you can share your accomplishments, and when people give you blogging awards, inspirational awards, and if you are on so many peoples blog sites with ping backs, link backs, these are all a plus and when you include all this in your page, you will be praised and you will go to great lengths.

In recent weeks, I have been more interactive with my fans, and those who come to my blog and I try to reply to as many comments as I am able to. I love visiting other peoples blogs, and give them a boost. I know some people struggle to get people to come to their blogs to read what is happening in their world and what they are up to and among writing for a living and making something out of themselves. It takes a long time and I do feel what they are feeling. I started blogging in another blog provider on Google, and I was not getting anywhere and in one year I had about 5000 people only visiting my site and I felt like I was getting no where. My friend suggested WordPress and I said, let me make an account there and in no time at all, the stats kept increasing and when I began to write more and make more content, things just took off from there. I know some of my blogs require improvement on my writing style, and little bit of the grammar, but I am learning and It is never too late to learn. Social Networking is such a great tool and it will take time and effort, but working at it hard will get you to places, you wouldn’t even imagine.

Maintaining your blog, and maintaining your social networking profiles with new content, and also when you create a twitter account and know how to tweet, you will see a big difference and you will see many people and companies starting to follow you. When you are on Facebook, be mindful to know what your posting and how you are posting it. It is good to keep your standards and everything about you high. Keep your head up high, and do not write so many negative status messages and negative quotes as people pick up on it and they wouldn’t want to engage and be interested with someone who is always bringing themselves down. Bring yourself up, and always write about positivity, determination and things you are good at, and qualities that you have. It is important to put yourself out there with the right attitude, enthusiasm and mean what you say when you write positivity and when you say nice things and be kind to others, and make yourself and your reputation high, the sky is the limit and you will have so many offers and so many opportunities knocking, but it all starts with the way you portray your character and your willingness to try and do your best. You can do it, and will see how you will improve.

How you social network and how you deal with situations online will always be something people will remember and don’t be afraid to put your name out there, because your social networking profile will be like your business card and its important to put a nice and professional photo of yourself or a nice photo of you everywhere and keep that trend going. There are many websites such as facebook, twitter, pinterest, YouTube, linkedin, myspace, and more websites that will make it easy for you, but it is all up to you and in your hands on how you deal with the way you handle yourself online. When your a blogger and when your a dedicated blogger, and want to excel and do your best, engage with other authors and those who have published books in the past and contact them and ask them how its done and what is involved. The internet is the biggest research hub of the world. You can find all the tips and tricks and contact information to people. You will be amazed.

Social Media & Networking – How Communications Has Advanced Recently

In Recent years the internet has become the biggest communication hub of the world and news, photos, videos, information, history, various topics, and blogs are transmitted around the world in an instant and it has advanced far more than television in itself. I am sure there are still people who get their news from the newspaper and television, but now majority of us receive e-mails, go on news websites and etc… Social Networking has been booming a lot since Myspace, Hi5, Asian Avenue, Migente, Black Planet, Bebo, were very popular, and now Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, and all those other Social Networking websites that has given communications quite the boost with reconnecting with friends from back in the day, school mates, meeting people around the world, spending time on the internet with so many hubs of communication. In about a couple of weeks from now, I will be attending a social media, Social networking conference and discussion evening, and there will be a lot of information that is going to benefit me and my friends who will also attend. It is very good to have these discussions as now, everything almost revolves around the internet and communications, so you could really learn a lot. There will also be talks about effective blogging, how to blog, The ins and outs of social media. Networking is super important these days. Businesses use facebook, linkedin, pinterest, and twitter to advertise, and to gain customers and clients. Now a lot of companies have facebook as their official website as almost one billion people over the world are on facebook, and that is a huge number and the numbers are increasing by day. Thank you to Mark Zuckerberg and his team for giving us a great communications tool.

Every time I hear about Social Media and Networking, I get excited because it is surely my cup of tea and I really enjoy this subject very much. It has that professionalism to it and yet its a fun subject to share and raise awareness about it. Now, that blogging websites are up, now that its become easy for us all to advertise and to share with the world, who we are, what we do, and where we come from, It is nice to share with the world, and gain knowledge, understanding, and to share opinions. I know that each blogger and each person who writes has a purpose and I know everyone does something for a reason. When you are passionate about something and when you feel the need to share who you are, your strengths, your talents, and the way you portray yourself, is something so great. You don’t want to hide behind closed doors all your life and not share who you are, and what your talents are or else you will waste your talent and you will waste away the time and that is not good. Now that social networking, communications, social media, society has made is simple for people to get out there and show to the world who you are, then its time to get out there and show yourself and show who you are. I know were always afraid to overshare things, but that is what social networking is and do not be afraid to show yourself to the world, and what you are capable of doing. Social networking is a big subject and it can be summarized in so many ways. As long as you know what your doing and as long as you are safe about it, go ahead and do it.

Communications has advanced so much that, within seconds information is transmitted and received by so many people using the internet day in and day out. It has become part of life and growth of many things. Create a LinkedIn Profile, Create a Twitter handle, Create A Pinterest Account. Get in on the action, make some noise, make yourself heard, advance yourself in the world, make your name well known, enjoy your blog, enjoy writing, enjoy social networking and media. It is a great thing. Thinking about it in a negative way is not so good. I know too much of it isn’t good either and nothing beats being outside in actual society to be social, but this is also great too. You can meet so many people, and the sky is the limit. When you have networking and when someone sees you online and are interested, you have it made and it is the greatest feeling ever to be discovered by so many people across all continents like it has for me. Do not be afraid to dot your I’s and cross your T’s and don’t be afraid to write what you feel, and make it a goal to write everyday or when you can, and be committed to it.

I love what I do, I love social networking, I love blogging, blogging is so therapeutic for me and every passing day I learn so many new things from people who comment, from the internet, and I learn a lot about my capabilities, abilities, and about myself and my strengths. I blog because I love it and I blog because I like making a difference in the world and I have my own purpose in life to improve everyday on my blogging and writing skills as we all are. I am learning from my mistakes and that is how you do learn. Never lose faith on Social networking and involve yourself with great things, persevere to great lengths to succeed, to make a difference, to get out there in the world and do the best you can and you will see the progress you will make. Impacting society in a positive and great way is a sign of success and a sign of happy times to come. So enjoy it and appreciate social media.

I Am Very Happy These Days – I Am Feeling Incredible

These days I am a very happy person, because I am finally on my way to having my dreams come true and with hard work and determination I know I can get there. It feels great to share with the world who I am and I believe I can move mountains with my words. I want to be able to reach out to my readers and tell my readers who I am and what I do in my life. I feel that when you have a personal approach and an approach to others that reach out to them, that gives the reader a sense of belonging and comfort knowing that what I write will impact readers in such a great and positive way which is what I strive for. I love being real and being real with everyone. It is who I am. I do not like to be a person who is fictional, I like to be a person who is real and who talks about real life issues I have had in my life, sharing my experiences of life, and amongst so many things. I am a very happy person and I feel so incredible. It has been a great couple of weeks with topic and discussions that my readers want, and what my supporters and fans want to hear. I have received many e-mails and messages from people that they want to know more about me and want to know my purpose.

My purpose in blogging and writing is what I always talk about making a difference in this world and in my previous blogs, I have a lot of topics that include all that and what I want to do with my path in getting out there. I am someone who is passionate about social subjects and social aspects of the world and how socializing and social acceptance comes into everything, I don’t like to see people isolated, and the fear of interacting with others. Nobody should have to feel that way and nobody should have to feel rejected when with the social society aspect. I want to help people, I want to help get people going with their lives and that makes me happy more than anything else, to see smiles on peoples faces, to see people happy, and that is what is making me happy too.

In my daily life, I always try the best of my ability to always be positive, no matter what life throws at me and these last few weeks has been great and so much positivity has been happening, I have been out more with my friends, my best friends, and been to the movies, watched some interesting movies, and my social life is getting a lot better and it has been better. I have so many people to be thankful for, for making my life incredible, and I give them credit for everything in my life, but I have to also work on my own happiness and work on being more happier which I am and its such a great feeling to be that way. I feel a different approach to life and that is something very important to me. I am on my path to happiness and my path to making that positive change in the world. I am very happy all around. Thank you to all those who have faith in me and knowing that is what makes me happy in all the days of my life and I have so much to be thankful for. It is incredible to know when your work and your life has been appreciated and given credit for.

It feels so great to be appreciated, it is so great to feel these positive optimistic feelings. Everyone should always feel like this and I wish everyone the best, and may you all smile and be happy everyday like I am. I know we all have our problems to deal with and I know that all of us have unfortunate things happen to us, but never lose faith in happiness and never lose faith in smiling and feeling good about you and yourself, Remember to take charge of you and your emotions and you will see how great life really can be. Never Let Anybody Use You & Your Kind Heart

Have you been in a situation where you are always the one giving in? Have you always been one that says yes to everything, but in return people shrug you off and do not even budge with you and your requests? I cannot even count how many times It has happened to me in the past several months. On facebook a lot of people want me to advertise, and promote events and everything, but in return when I ask them to advertise and share my blog and my fanpage a writer named Talin Orfali, all I get is a no or not helping me. I believe everything is both ways. I know I have not responded to messages and comments, but I will get to them and I will work on replying as soon as I free up a whole day to do so, but anyway, I am so tired of people using me and not acknowledging me. It is the worst feeling ever to me and not appreciating and supporting me is even worse.

Never let people use you and never let people take advantage of you. You gotta learn to say no once in a while. Just to see the reaction. Well, I am going to say no to people from now on. If they do not pull their weight and advertise my stuff, then no advertising for them. It is a two way street right? Not a one way street. Don’t be a victim of another persons using. Its one of the worst feelings ever. You do not need people who use you. Stay away from them. If it doesn’t benefit them, they do not care one bit. If they don’t care, I am not going to care, if they don’t pull their weight, I won’t. It is that simple. People always want to look out for their self-growth, and self-centeredness, not how the person feeling used feels. When you start feeling used, do not keep it inside you, address the issue to the person and say, hey until when am I going to bail you out? Until when am I going to keep doing this? Saying no is not a bad thing. Trust me. Its a true test to see who stood behind with you and who left.

Blogging Is A Universal Language

In the past few months, as I have been making it a goal to blog everyday, and to talk about various topics of today’s society, the way life is and what we can do to make our lives more positive, happy and optimistic on things and among telling stories, promoting a product or service, introducing new gadgets, discussing about medical issues, travel, marketing, business, recipes, food, auto, planes, ships, so on and so forth. I think blogging and posting is a universal language and so much information is circulating about so many topics and we see people different outlooks, opinions on certain things which make the world go round.

Every blogger is unique in their own ways and everyone has different approaches to things, which is why I call blogging a booming thing online and its like so many languages but all service one purpose, is to get our view points out there, to get what were interested in out there, so on and so forth. I think the best way to create this universal language is to start outlining what is important to talk about and what our readers and people who are interested will engage into a blog even further.

It all starts with the persons reflections, feedbacks, suggestions and opinions. We all are entitled to our own opinions, but also keep in mind that if we have opinions about another persons blog or another persons thoughts you do not agree on, its important to give feedback and opinions to a not so offensive manner and not hurt the persons feelings who has spent time writing about that certain subject. Maybe organize your thoughts, and approach that situation in a more mannered way, in a more civilized manner. Remember that words hurt people a lot and its imperitive that we do not slander or hurt people. Everything we say, we can say it in a more nicer way. for example take the following scenario on a comment someone would write to another person….

“Your so stupid, you can’t write for beans, you don’t know what the heck your talking about, your the worst writer in the world, get a life.”

Now, that is really hurtful and that deters people from following their dreams, Now here is a more kinder way and something that you should mean from your heart and people sense if a comment is fake or real by just the way you write it…. Now here is an example of a more kinder approach:

“Although people have different views and opinions on things, but this is my opinion and I do not mean to offend, but here is what I think of that topic you wrote about”

This universal language of blogging should not be discriminated against each other, but yes I do agree on if its offensive about racism, slander, vulgarity, profane, and other terrible things, then yes, it should be reported to the blogging website administration or reported as that type of material should be monitored and removed. Blogging should be about goodness, useful information. I think our universal blogging language should be strong and firm and be one big family and help each other out.
