Had A Great Birthday Yesterday – Thank You For The Wishes

for 28 years now on April 30th, I celebrate my birthday. I am so happy and glad for all my birthdays and I am ever so grateful to God for giving me this life and I thank my parents for bringing me into this world and to experience everything I have experienced in my life, with traveling to many places, for giving me everything, a roof over my head, a nice warm bed to sleep in, food to eat and so much more. I am so thankful for everything as I look around the world and people do not even have running water to drink and bathe from. I am so fortunate and I have learned not to take anything from granted in my life.

There were times where some of my birthdays did not go as well as I had hoped for. Once in high school when I turned 16 years old, I had invited about 30 people to come over to my house for my sweet 16 birthday party and it was one of the most embarrassing yet humiliating things in my life where only one person showed up out of all the others. I was thinking they were my friends and everything but they really weren’t. I was devastated that I could not have a sweet 16 party, and also I never knew what it felt like to have a surprise birthday party or even had a big party to celebrate me and my day. I never knew what that feeling was like. I didn’t even know the feeling of when I turned 20, 21 years old where I would have a great party, but I did go to Montreal for my birthdays quite a lot in my early 20′s and to get away from things and to enjoy a dance club here and there with my friends in Montreal. The only parties I have ever had was when I was a kid where a lot of my family came over to celebrate and that is about it. To me The gifts weren’t important, but being with my family and couple of friends is what I want.

I know parties should not matter and everything, but in my case it does. In my early adult life and as an adult now, I want to be able to know what it feels like to have a party. I know that I can create my own party and have people over and stuff and go out but I just get those bad memories again when I was 16 years old. I really never had a lot of friends to begin with and I invited all those people and never showed up except for one. I was crushed and cried for days. I just want to know what it feels like to have a party and its all about me and having people around me that has come to celebrate me. I am hoping that will happen soon. I sometimes feel so isolated and they are feelings that I never want to get back. Nowadays everything is great. My beautiful friends took me out for my birthday over the weekend and surprised me with a cake which was so sweet of them. I will never forget that.

What have you experienced in the past about your birthday? Did you have a birthday that was a blast or not such a blast?

Anyways, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my family, friends and fans for all the birthday wishes, the phone calls, text messages, e-mails, facebook messages, the birthday cards, the birthday e-greetings, virtual cakes, flowers and everything. I really appreciate it so much from the bottom of my heart. I love you all!

Facebook’s New Timeline – Much Better Than The Previous

This morning, I woke up did my morning routine with washing up, eating breakfast, washing my dishes and I decided to get on my Facebook to check my messages and notifications, and I go to my Facebook Page and I see that the timeline is changed and I think this way it is better. All your wall messages, and things you post are on the right side whereas everything else from the liked pages and interests are on the other side. Last year I could not respond to all my birthday messages because they all got lost in the older timeline. Now it will be no problem to respond to them all. This new timeline is so much better. I can finally read things properly and I can finally do things on my page without having to struggle all the time. Do you like the new timeline? Do you like the way Facebook is now?

I’d still prefer the old fashioned way before the timeline was introduced though, but this is a great vast improvement on Facebook’s part which I am enjoying now. I can communicate better with my family, friends and fans, I can update it better and everything else. I remember when I did the mistake of switching to the first timeline, and where a lot of people were still on the original facebook and then eventually everyone got it, but I admit this new timeline is great and it brings a whole new twist into social media and communications. I can see everything more clearly and that is the way it is supposed to be.

What is your opinion on it?

Have a great day!

How Committed Are You To Blogging? Do You Blog Daily?

In this day in age blogging has become a big sensation in the world and one of the top leading parts of social media. Blogging is a language where people talk about feelings, promote, talk about products, share recipes, share life experiences, travel experiences, educating the world, giving opinions, it gives a sense of entitlement about subjects, topics, and discussing and sharing with the world our beliefs, talents, beauty, fashion, medical, health, benefits, tips, tricks, and giving the world ideas and introducing ourselves and families among other important things of the world. Some of us making blogging part of our lives everyday, some blog daily, some blog bi-weekly, some blog, weekly, a few times and make it a part of life. Some people commit their lives as for some it is a career path they choose to take with journalism, writing, and blogging for perspective newspaper, television news companies. Some like it as a hobby or interest everyday or when they get a chance to write.

Now, How committed are you to blogging? Do you blog daily? Do you blog a couple or few times a week? Or a few times a month? On average how much do you spend time on blogging? Is blogging a part of your life or is it something that you do on your leisure time? Do you take time to blog even when life is so incredibly busy and fast paced? For me blogging is a commitment, but I do not let it take over my life. I don’t spend too long on my blog per day. Maybe about 1-2 hours a day to perfect, and to come up with different topics a day, then I start to write. It is very therapeutic for me. I love blogging and it gives me time to share my ideas, interests, and introduce myself, about merely everything that comes to my mind on that certain day, following the latest news in the world, and everyday, I take a list and I come up with the best topic to write about, and then sometimes when I do not have anything to write, I just post up a recipe of mine and I do not like to keep any of my blogging days blank such as when I go away on vacation for a week or when I am not able to get online, I do my blogs before hand and I work on them as much as I am able to and schedule my blogs for days when I am not able to blog.

I never like to miss a day in my blogging. When I know I won’t have time to get on my blog, I always make sure that day is filled with something. I love it very much. I am committed to it and its something that I like to give back to my fans, readers, supporters, family and friends from all over the place. Thank you so much for always giving me a boost and I wish everybody all the best with everything. My blog couldn’t have been possible without you all and I thank you all and appreciate it very much. Much love goes out to all of you.

I Met Kevin Bacon Before – It Was An Awesome Encounter

Back in the day in 2004 nearly 9 years ago back in August, My family and I were coming back from shopping in the evening and what happened was we were on a busy street coming back to our place, and all of a sudden we see bright lights, cranes, and trucks used for movies. So we stopped on the side and parked the vehicle, and I went up close and personal to the scene and I had heard that Director and Film Producer Atom Egoyan was there producing and filming the movie “Where the Truth Lies” with Kevin Bacon, Colin Firth, Alison Lohman, and all the actors were there and filming inside this Chinese restaurant and I finally know how they created thunderstorms and rain from the outside. I was so excited when I heard those actors were inside, but I only met Kevin Bacon and Alison Lohman and I was not able to meet Colin Firth as he was still filming inside and We were not permitted to go inside.

So As Kevin Bacon was about to go back to the other scene to film in Downtown, Toronto, I yelled for his name Saying Kevin! He stopped and he smiled with me and I asked to take a picture with him and I took a picture with him and I said thank you so much, and he said anytime dear, so he went to the other location. I mean talk about being at the right place at the right time. I couldn’t believe I met Kevin Bacon before. He is such a wonderful actor and he’s been in so many movies, with so many actors and actresses and I feel like I connected with all of them once I met Kevin Bacon. I remember the degrees of Kevin Bacon, so I said I am 0 Degrees from Kevin and then 1 Degree from Kyra Sedgwick which is his wife, and then all the other actors that are associated with him and the movie directors, producers. I will never forget that day. It was an amazing night. It does take a lot of hard work to produce these movies and it takes a lot of man hours to have it all done.

I remember then taking the pictures and having them developed instantly. I had taken the pictures in the other ordinary cameras that wasn’t a digital camera, so I started taking pictures of random things so that I can have that picture. It didn’t come out the way I expected, but it is still something and a memory that will live on with me forever. I have had so much luck with meeting celebrities, TV anchors, reporters and other famous faces of the world, and it happens when I least expect it, like when I was in Vegas how I saw Jerry Bruckheimer, Ted Danson, George Eads, and Jorja Fox filming CSI Las Vegas on Fremont Street last year in October 2012. It is incredible how you follow these people on television and someday you cross paths with them and you are in the same atmosphere as them. It’s so incredible. I hope to one day meet so many of my favourite celebrities and I hope I can have the pleasure of doing so. Lets hope and lets see where the future takes me, but its amazing how I can meet these people. I know they are people like you and I, and I know they are human and they work and make a living too, but its pretty amazing how movies and shows are done. I can finally put it all together.

Have you met celebrities? Have you had an encounter with any famous person?

It Is Not About The Quantity Of Friends, Its About The Quality

In life we will come across so many people in our lives, and some think that the more friends you have the more popular you will be and the more better you will be, and that is wrong. You can have so many friends, you can hundreds of people being your friend and some people will be more concerned about having quantity instead of quality, well, that should not be. I’d rather have a few friends who will be by my side, to back me up, and to support, love and appreciate me for who I am. Everything should be mutual when it comes to friends. It takes two to tango and it takes both to be the backbone that keeps the friendships up. Also, don’t trust people so quickly, don’t give in so easily. Ask yourself a few questions, will they be loyal to you? will they back you up? How will they treat you? Will they use you? Unfortunately in society these days, you need to double triple check before you make friends with people and this day in age, trust has become so rare and there are people of all walks of life. Do you really want to put yourself in a predicament of hanging out with someone who will back stab, betray and use you?

In this life we live in now, we need to analyze people very well before we give our all, before we share our most personal stories and our life’s journey with them. It does take time to get to know someone, and friendships and good friendships take time to build. So you build your trust in accordance to how someone is, their actions, words, kindness, their honesty, their loyalty and the way they are to you and how they treat you. When you are out with friends at a restaurant, take a good look and observe, if they are rude to the waiter or waitress, or if they are rude to any other person, it makes you think and question, will they be like that toward me? Will they burst at me like that someday? Actions do speak a lot louder than words and then words and action play hand in hand with each other.

We must open up our eyes a bit more, be more observant, and not to trust people so easily. Take your time to get to know someone before you give it your all. You will know the quality and the friends you have, by just the way they are, you will know what to do whether to pursue the friendship or not. Disrespectful people who do not know how good they have it and take advantage of ones goodness, good heart, and those who do not care, and those who use you, those who spread rumours and share whatever happens to the world, is not a true friend. Some people do not even know the definition of a friend and that is so unfortunate. Take your time, don’t rush into friendships so quickly because you will be burned if you don’t choose your friends wisely and you can be hurt. I do not want anybody hurt.

My family, friends, fans, readers and all my other supporters, I want the best for everyone, and I am speaking through experience. I’ve been burned so many times from fake people, I’ve been hurt so many times, but all it takes is opening up your eyes, being more assertive, being more aware, being more observant of peoples actions, eye language, facial reactions, body language and more. It is so important to take a look at all of that. It will save the hassle in the long run and it will make you decide if they are the right friends for you and if you should continue it or not. It all depends on a persons personality and the type of friends to choose, but in the end look out for you. Don’t put everyone in one basket, balance it and don’t give in too quickly.

Just take your time. There is no rush to friendships. You will find the suitable people for you. It will take time and effort, but never ever think friendship will never happen for you. Just be patient and go with the flow.  You would not want to go through havoc and trouble. Just believe in yourself and know that there are types of people for you that are suitable. Just relax and take it easy. I’d rather have only a few friends I can trust, depend on and share stories and things with, rather than having hundreds, that will only be there part time and not full time. So just go with your gut instinct and I wish you all the best.

The NHL Is Back, But I don’t Care About It – Damage Has Been Done

This past weekend, we learned that the NHL (National Hockey League), is back from the lockout and they will start playing games, but nearly 4 months later and 113 days after the lockout, a lot of people, fans, and jobs were effected and the damage has been done. A lot of die hard fans are no longer fans, and I saw the comments people have left on message, discussion forums online, and I sympathize especially for those workers who work in the arena’s, servers, and among the fans who really believed in the players and the whole game. Everything is about money now, and there isn’t anything patriotic anymore, the true meaning of hockey, and the game has died down a lot, sales of merchandise has declined, and some people who had season tickets, fans who decorated their home with NHL logos and hockey everywhere have taken it down and some sold the items, people just don’t really care anymore about The League and I don’t blame them. I am one of them and I don’t care.

These Owners, CEO’s, Managers, Players of NHL have their millions of dollars just to pass around a puck for 60 minutes and all the teams per game. Greedy people who want more and more, couldn’t even come to an agreement, acting like children, Where as doctors, teachers, nurses, don’t even get paid that much. I mean where do we draw the line? Where is the passion, dedication, and patriotic approach to all this? Its all about Money. It is making me so sick to my stomach that hard working individuals like us ordinary people, and these guys they get all the praise because they are famous and they are on ice. I really do not care anymore about this game, about the league. I will not spend my time watching and supporting these people. They have lost a lot of people, and the kids too. These kids were interviewed on the news and they said that NHL Sucks and they said they don’t like it anymore. This put a big scar in the sporting industry and people don’t trust it anymore. I am very sick and tired of greediness.

Now the NHL is back, what is the point? Might as well as cancel the season because April is when Playoffs begin, it is ridiculous. They already lost me and my family as fans of NHL, and among some of my friends. We just don’t care anymore. Were done like dinner.

I Have Finally Found My Calling – I Feel Like Celebrating & Enjoying The Moment

Today is the day I feel like celebrating and sharing my excitement with the world, There is so much I want to celebrate about and so much that I need to share with everyone. I am very happy and excited to announce that I have finally found my calling in terms of a career path and in terms of something that I thoroughly enjoy doing. It is something that I discovered since I started my world in social media, advertising, social networking, and blogging. Although My passions are about traveling, cooking and driving, and those are things I enjoy, but My calling is all about the social media, internet, social networking and blogging genres and fields. So many people have sent me personal e-mails from friends, family, fans, and everyone else who truly believes in me, I received an e-mail today which was so touching to me and it was one of the greatest e-mails ever when I opened up my inbox. This is the e-mail I received from one of my great friends from another city. I will keep her name anonymous, but this is what it said:

Dear Talin,

Since the beginning when I have subscribed to your blog, and have been following your social media path, you are such a beautiful person inside and out, you are not afraid to share with the world who you are, what you do, and your writings are wonderful, and I truly believe that this is your calling and your ultimate talent. Talin, we all have talent, we all come to this world with a strength, and God has chosen you to make a living and a career out of social media, marketing, and being a positive and influencing person in so many peoples lives. I see you have made quite a vast difference and impact in so many peoples lives, you have touched many hearts, you have that poise to inspire so many with your words. We need more people like you in this world, we need people like you in this generation of social media and communications as you are doing an excellent job in providing so much and I can see that you have dedicated a big portion of your life to blogging, and I think you found your niche. I love you so much my beautiful friend Talin. I wish you nothing but continued success in all that you do and I am one of your biggest fans. God bless you and I wish you nothing but the best in life. May all your wishes comes true. – Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah, The Talk, Marilyn Denis, do not know what they are missing. They need to discover you and soon. You deserve it and more.

love Always, Anonymous.

This was a sweet e-mail and I really cried up a storm of happy tears when I read this today. I have so much to give to society, and this realm of internet technology and more. I am not afraid of sharing, and it is a world I love, and its something that I see in other people when they give me reviews about me and what I love doing. I am doing this for myself, not because another person is telling me to do it. I believe in myself and I know that I will persevere and reach for the tops. I know it takes time and effort and finding the right connections, but I feel like my calling is now and I am not wasting another second of my life. I will keep proving myself, I will keep on working hard at what I love to do, and I will not let people give me negative remarks. I am going to celebrate my accomplishments and achievements so far and my friend who sent me that e-mail, I love you and that really touched my heart in so many ways. Thank you to everyone who believes in me, who entrusts me, who encourages, supports and puts me up and who appreciates me. I love you all very much. I wish everyone the best and may your dreams and wishes come true.

What Happened To Patriotic Dedication Hockey? NHL Lost A Fan

In the last couple of months, hearing about NHL Having a lockout, cancelling pre-season games, cancelling a lot of practices and hearing the owners and a lot of the players wanting more and more money seems to be the trend setter these days with a lot of greed going around. Not just the NHL But everything else. Okay, I understand the NHL (National Hockey League) needs money and everything and it takes money to get far, but this greed has got to stop, and this childish behavior of he said she said, needs to stop. What happened to patriotic hockey? What happened to the dedication and love for the game? Yes some Players are passionate about the game, but greed ruins everything. Your just getting millions of dollars just passing around a puck on the ice for 82-84 games throughout the season, whereas people who work their butts off in real society and reality get minimum wage or low pay. Is that really fair? To go to hockey games in the arenas it costs an arm and a leg to attend the games. Make it cheaper for the fans, and easy accessibility for low income families who are fans of the game, but cannot go to a game because the money is tight. Gary Bettman and the league should open up their eyes. I know a lot of people who have stopped being an NHL Fan because of all this behavior.

Where is the integrity? Where is the passion? I guess that was back in the early years up to the 90′s and then it was all down hill from there. I used to be a real hockey fan, and I never missed a game, I used to go to so many card shows, I never missed an opportunity to see players at different venues across the city, and I used to be a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens clubs, and used to collect a lot of memorabilia, sports cards and everything, but now, its lost its value and I don’t think I can be a fan to greedy people anymore, and I don’t want to be sitting down watching a Hockey game and seeing a bunch of owners and players only playing for money anymore and not for the love of the game. That is how I am feeling that money is overpowering everything and it is not such a good thing anymore. I can surely tell how hockey was played before and how hockey is being played now. More fighting, more penalties, and its a form of he said she said type of thing. I can tell how the old timers of hockey really enjoyed the game, but now not so much anymore. If NHL wants to keep their fans, then its time to smarten up, take initiative to keep costs to go watch the game low and listen to the fans and their expectations. Without the fans, NHL will not exist, and without NHL Fans, all of you would be out of a job. So in order to keep fans happy, listen to them, be on the fans side, don’t break their heart, and leave childish and greedy behavior.

This year, the lockout will hurt all the fans, but even if the lockout does happen or does not happen, I choose to no longer follow hockey and be part of hockey pools anymore. I’ve lost my flame. I hope they make smart decisions from now on. If they decrease ticket prices and food prices at the games, they will make more money and more revenue, but they think the more they increase it, the better it will be for them, but on the contrary. People with seasons tickets, people who have that love for the game, whats going to happen to their feelings? Whats going transpire? Greed just takes away all the fun and all the patriotic feelings away of the game. Money comes and goes, but the fans are the true essence of hockey, without them NHL Is nothing, sorry but that is the honest truth, sorry I still stand with my decision. I am an NHL Fan no longer, until I feel the dedication, patriotism and love for the game, I won’t be either of that to the league. Open up your eyes owners and smell the coffee.
Thanks.

Why Blog? Why Is Blogging Important To Me?

Hello! Today I am going to make things a little bit different, and I am going to interview myself and ask myself a few questions on Why to Blog? Why Blogging is so important to me?  Why I spend my time, And much more.  Well here is my interview with myself….

Why Blog?

Blogging is something very awesome. You share with the world your thoughts, feelings, opinions, and self-entitlement with the people around the world. Blogging is something that a lot of people do around the world and it is awesome to see. I like seeing different blogs, reading peoples different perspectives on every aspect of life, and basically putting words online and stories. Blogs are written to move people, to touch people, to make people smile and sometimes people write things that are not so pleasant to people and are pleasant to others. Everyone has different opinions and different outlooks on life. I love blogging because it empties my mind and I don’t need to keep things bottled up inside. I have a big support system all around the world. Thank you all for supporting me day in and day out and giving me that boost daily. I appreciate it so much.

Why Is Blogging So Important to Me?

The reasons why blogging is so important to me is because I want to make a difference in the world, I want to make life better for people, I want to make it a positive world where people can smile, be happy, and stop thinking in a pessimistic way, and think more optimistic about everything. I want to pull the plug on bullying, I want to send strong messages across the world for people to realize how important they are in this world, how much your existence matters in this world. I want people to take a look in the mirror everyday and call themselves beautiful and wake up every morning saying good things to yourself and to make your day a better one. Blogging is very important to me because it is something that I am so passionate about and I want people to read my blogs, I want to inspire people, I want to change the world for the better, I write things that come from my heart, soul and mind, I write things because I care about people and the world so much. I care about peoples happiness and every great thing in life. Blogging to me is therapeutic. I am so happy to have done blogging and writing. It makes my world go around and I love seeing humanity around me happy, smiling and full with energy.

Why Do I Spend So Much Time Blogging?

The reason why I spend time blogging everyday is because I love it, It is my passion, it is one of my priorities everyday. I write about issues, social issues, society, food recipes, world issues, bullying, organizational tips, etiquette, feelings, emotions and everything. It is a big part of my life and it is something I value with quality. Not the quantity of posts I have, not the quantity of numbers, but I care about quality of my blogs.

Who Would I Like To Thank For My Blog?

I’d like to thank firstly God, for giving me this talent I was born with to write, I’d like to thank my Family, My Friends, My Fans, My Social Network Family, My Internet Family, My Supporters, My Blog Readers and Comment’s they write to me. You all have a special place in my heart, and in my life. I love you all very much and I care about everyone in this world. You all are incredible people and thank you all for being part of my life since I was born until Now to all those who I have come across all my life. Much appreciated.

I spent a lot of alone time and I was thinking about all the things I can do, and writing was one of them, and I instantly began to write for my Armenian Church and then it escalated from there starting my own blog in Google Blogspot, that did not pan out, so I moved to WordPress and I am loving it ever since. WordPress blogs and other bloggers have taught me a lot about life and how I am not alone in situations and I am so greatful to them all for taking the time to come to my blog and reply and giving me incredible awards, plaques, nominating me for so many different types of awards and you all carry a special place in my heart from my readers, supporters, family, friends and fans and all those websites of blogs that has my name on it, and among other websites. You all are so lovely and sweet and may you all be healthy, happy and everything else in between. All the best of the best in Life and may all your dreams come true. It is never too late to start dreaming. I LOVE you all very much and thanks again for everything.

Everyday should be Reader Appreciation Day but today I decided I dedicate it to you all.

Much Love,

Love,
