My Favourite Movies Of All Time

Yesterday on Television, on TV Tropolis, they were showing some older films and I watched Airplane and Airplane 2: The sequel, and I really love those kinds of movies with that humour. most of the actors in the movie passed away in recent years. It is still hard to believe that Leslie Neilson passed away. Anyway, I know the movie so well, that I knew exactly what they are going to say or the next scene. It was so funny and I still laugh every time. Some movies you watch and watch again and still laugh like it is your first time watching it. Some movies you just watch once or twice, but the rest you can watch several times. i just don’t like the commercials when I watch the movies. I know there is a way to delete the commercials while watching a movie, but I don’t have that feature like TiVo or something. Anyway, Here are my movie choices of all time.

The Ugly Truth, Home Alone, Home Alone 2 Lost in New York, National Lampoons Vegas Vacation, Christmas Vacation, European Vacation, Airplane, Airplane 2, Weekend At Bernie’s, Dennis the menace, Father of the Bride, Mrs Doubtfire, Forrest Gump, My Girl, Naked Gun movies, Hot shots, hot shots part deux, Babies day out, Hangover, Hangover 2, Campaign, Vince Vaughn movies, Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Bradley Cooper, Alex O’loughlin, and so many other actors movies and so many other movies. I am such a big movie fan, I love comedy, romantic comedy, I like the notebook, dear john, and I like to get new movies all the time, and go to the theater once in a while. It depends if it’s a really good movie. or else I just wait for the DVD or Blue Ray to come out to the stores?

What are your movie choices? What do you like to watch? What are your interests when it comes to entertainment? Soon in the coming weeks I will be doing critics on movies and what they mean to me and I will be giving my insight on them. I will be doing that soon. Stay tuned! Have a lovely day!

Improper Baggage Handling At Airports

***Before Reading My blog of today, if there are people working in the airport industry or any of that sort, please do not take the following as offense, I am just stating my comments based on what I have observed in past travels. Thanks***

In my travel experiences when I would be at the airport after checking my baggage in, going to my gate to wait for my plane, I notice that the baggage handlers when watching my plane are so vicious with peoples belongings and they do not take care of peoples baggages in proper manner. People spend so much money on great quality baggages and you would think that when you check in your luggage, they would take extra care with your property, but it doesn’t seem so. I have seen peoples expensive lugggages ripped, damaged, and broken. Then they say that damage to your luggages are not the responsibility of the airline or airports. I believe that they are responsible for the way they handle luggages.

I know and I am completely sensitive and compassionate toward these workers and that its a difficult process and a difficult job to do with all the heavy carrying, and all the heavy luggages going into planes and I know that they are on a tight schedule to get peoples baggages in the planes so that people can get on their planes and fly to where ever the destination maybe, but they should always becareful with them. I know that they must go through so many procedures and rules as I knew someone who did that job and he kept telling me stories about it and I truly understand where they come from and what they do and I comply with them very much, but People spend all types of money to travel and get baggages and there is no respect or careful handling of peoples things. I have seen it many times at different airports.

For example, We had bought really great quality luggages before we took off for Cuba and it was our first time using those luggages and all of a sudden when we got to Cuba, there was gash, rip on the side, and we said oh no! On our way back to Canada, the luggage came back in even more worse condition. We were livid and now were just using that to store our clothes and stuff from the past for storage. So we have to go out and buy new ones all over again before our trips to Vegas and California. It was quite upsetting. They need to take more proper care. Its all there is to it.

It is really not entirely human error, but its also the conveyor belts they put the luggages on too, its also the way it goes into the wagons to go to the airplane, but again it all comes to caring for someones things. All I am saying is that they need to exercise more caution, but I give them applause for the hard work they do. Kudos to them.

Travel Now before It is Too Late!

I have learned so much during my travels on the various places I have been, the history, the culture, heritage and so much more. I believe in traveling when I am still able to. People say that they will wait to travel until they retire, but things can happen and traveling may become difficult for people as they really age and cannot really take steps anymore. I think it is really important to take some time for traveling and changing scenery once in a while. I like to travel once or twice a year by plane to a nice destination to the Caribbean, or a Cruise Ship Vacation to the south. When I flew back from Cuba this past weekend, I had the window seat and I saw how fast the plane is traveling up in the air. When we got to Florida, I can see the Florida shape from high up in the air, and I saw the Port Everglades Cruise Port and saw some Cruise ships in the harbour at night. It was beautiful. It makes me realize how great traveling is and seeing really cool things from up in the airplane when it is a clear sky of course with no clouds in sight. I love all aspects of traveling and I am going to travel as much as I am able to before it is too late. Some people wait and wait and wait to do so, and then they go on vacation all sore, and people have limitations unfortunately. Unless people have people to assist them in travels, that is a different story, but I truly believe in traveling now, than later on. Then we can say, Oh I have been there, we can tell our travel stories together, we can express ourselves, have various subjects to talk about, what we saw, what we felt, how we felt during all that. Its pretty neat.

God gave me a gift of Life and life is meant to be enjoyed, to see places, to get out of our circle and visit our wonderous world waiting for us to discover it. I know some people may have trouble traveling, or some people are not financially fit, but I believe in saving money and putting it in for travel and booking a holiday. I am sure all of us deserve a getaway once or twice a year. We all work so hard in our lives. We owe it to ourselves to save the money, to see the world, and just live life, to experience our world, to experience the greatness.

So, what are you waiting for? Pack your bags and make travel a yearly thing.

Organization is Key When Traveling…

Do you pack your luggage or baggage without organizing it?

Do you just toss things in your luggage or baggage without thinking what or where am I going to wear this or use this?

Organization is key when packing when you go away. First off think of the duration you will stay somewhere, think of the clothes, accessories you will need. I am the person who doesn’t like to wear the same thing everyday, so I tend to pack a little extra. You never know what happens. So Always pack a little more extra because you maybe stuck toward the end of the trip or in between saying, “I knew I should have packed more stuff”. It doesn’t matter if you go away for a day, two days, 3 days, a week, a month, 6 months, pack according to your duration, but pack enough so you won’t feel uncomfortable.

Toilettries, Medication, make up, hair stylers, earrings, necklaces, shoes, other purses/bags…

These are often tricky to decide, but Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Shampoo, Perfume, and other important things.

Make up, hair stylers — Make sure you make room for those, but I usually pack make up in my carry on bag…

Necklaces, shoes, purses/bags, earrings and other jewellery, if your a woman/girl — we love our jewellry, pack several of them because you may decide, No i dont wanna wear this one. I should have brought the other pair, so bring a lot with you, so that you wont get stuck once again…

The baggage/luggage size — According to where you are traveling and how long you are traveling, judge for yourself how big or small you want your suitcase to be. I usually take about a medium size when I travel Around CANADA/USA — when I travel overseas or caribbean or something, I bring a large… I seldomly use a small suitcase. But keep in mind the Airline Weight and Luggage size Policies. Some Airlines you must pay, and some airlines you must pay for an extra checked bag. I do not know why. before this issue was never brought to our attention. I guess things change….

Well, that is it for now, but Organization is very important when you travel… Pack enough so you wont be stuck — It doesn’t hurt to have extra things with you. You may or may not need it, but its good. So light packers, Pack a little more… It saves you in the long run.

My First Time On An Airplane to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico At 9 Years Old

Lately, I have been thinking about all the traveling I have done in my life and one of the travels that clinged to me was my first ever flight to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with my family. I remember when I went on Royal Airlines and that Airline is no longer of service for quite sometime now. I have had interesting and incredible trips. At 9 years old I really could not understand a lot about Mexico and I just went there to have fun and as a kid, I would get all the free stuff because the hotel staff gave me gifts to take home, so I was really excited at the time. Now we went on this ferry boat to take us to an Island I am not sure how to spell it but we went to HULAPA or something like that and it took over 2-3 hours to sail there. Now I did something that I should not have done. I fell asleep in the hot sun on deck of the ferry boat for I think a good hour or more, and I slept on my stomach, so I woke up and my back and my legs were bright red like a tomato and I didn’t really think much of it until later that night after returning from the island.

So as soon as night time hit, my legs started to burn so much and I couldn’t bare the pain anymore, so My mother went and asked the waiter for some yogurt or cold milk to put on the burn, so I did that, but it was so red that it really hurt. So the remainder of the trip I was walking stiff and it ruined my vacation and i was afraid to bend my knees. It was so funny now that I think about it. It was quite an interesting trip for me as my first trip on a plane. It was a very fun trip, but now due to all the problems going on in Mexico with Canadian tourists, I don’t think Mexico will be on my travel list. It is awesome how traveling and the experiences you get out of them make you learn things and I learned to put SunScreen before sleeping in the sun and then prevent the burning later.  All in all I had a blast and I couldn’t stop talking about my trip to my teachers at school after returning and to my other family members.

I must say, I love to travel on airplanes and I love the adrenaline when the pilot of the plane accelerates and the plane goes super fast to prepare for take off. I love that part so much. I fell in love with Air travel because of that. Its so interesting. Since then I can’t even begin to count how many times I have been on a plane and several airline companies. To those traveling. I wish you a safe, enjoyable, happy flight.
