There Is No Such Thing As Privacy Anymore

In this day in age, there is no longer privacy anymore. The reason why I bring this up today, is that because of what happened to Duchess of Cambridge Kate and William. They were just enjoying their time together in a remote area where they were just relaxing, and the press takes shots of Kate topless. I mean where do we draw the line? Celebrities and Royal Family is entitled to their privacy too. Even with Prince Harry in Vegas. I mean leave them alone, they are entitled to have fun too and do what they like too. The media always has so much time on their hands that they want to cover news like this all the time. It shouldn’t happen. Peoples privacy is at stake. It is not cool to invade someones privacy. You always here, oh this celebrity is vacationing off this island, or this celebrity is caught eating at this restaurant, or this person was caught getting out of a public restroom. I think there should be boundaries and monitors of what news going into the media. It is too much. Even ordinary people like us, our privacy too. People take pictures of your house and the street you live on, so that they can make mapping systems. People can see the cars they have on their driveways, and so much more.

People deserve to have privacy, people shouldn’t have to always share everything that happens in their lives. Some things should be kept very personal, and not everything should be tweeted or be put on a facebook status message. I have seen people post their bowel movements, I have seen people post what they do every second of the day, I have seen people posting everything. Somethings should be kept discreet. Not everything needs to be posted. Yes although we live in a social media world right now and things have become so public with everything, Social networking is booming with so many hundreds of millions of people joining these websites, but I do believe in keeping yourself up high and not sharing everything. It can be used against you and it won’t be cool.

Yes, I blog everyday telling people about my adventures of traveling, and among my emotions and issues with people bullying me and going through a lot of emotional things, and giving people positivity and happiness, but I do not go over the top with things. Everything has its limits, everything has its borders. Do not cross the line when it comes to your privacy and others privacy. People like to ask so many questions about others, and they like asking super personal ones. People don’t need to answer them. If you are not comfortable sharing, say, I am sorry, but I do not feel like sharing my very personal issues with anyone. I like to keep it to myself. As the years go by nothing is kept secret anymore, nothing is kept in confidence anymore which is sad. I feel for the celebrities, artists, singers, talk show hosts all the time. They are always bombarded and bothered. It shouldn’t be like that. They are entitled to have a personal life too. It can’t happen all the time. People need to back off a bit and let them live their lives too. Just because they are celebrities and big icons of our world, it doesn’t mean they should be followed 24/7 365 and be stalked. Not cool at all.

Even with us ordinary people, Never let others pry into your very personal life. Be cautious of what you share. All the best to you

  1. When you know your in the public eye, you need to act accordingly. Nothing wrong with taking your top off or getting naked at home, in the privacy of your own home or room with windows drawn. But seriously, it’s not like she didn’t know any better, take your top off in public, expect it to end up in the media. When you know there is no privacy anymore, then act accordingly. Just because is was ” a remote area” you know somewhere there is going to be someone taking photos. If you want to take your top off or anything else, then know it’s going to be out there for the rest of the world to see. Just don’t do it is my answer.

  2. Unfortunately this is the price they pay for being famous, I know it is wrong but people are curious and media makes money of them cause it is part of their job to talk about them, BUT as you said everything has a limit and they have to honor their privacy, unfortunately some people get top dollars for news or pictures like that, very sad… as far as facebook well people post what they want to share even pictures, facebook is not private, sometimes even with private settings one is not sure. I don’t worry LOOL cause I only post what I want to show friends, using email could be a little safer. Have a nice Day :)

  3. I think be virtue of who they are Royalty should remember there is no privacy in public. Its we UK taxpayers who pay for there jonts & I for one think they should expect intrusion. I dont actually care if she was topless but I think there’s enough real news without Royal stories.

  4. Unfortunately it’s a supply and demand market and in our reality filled hazed, we care more about getting a glimpse of something for the first time and finding celebrities, these people we put on a pedestal…on level playing ground. The more we see of them, they more we want and in this age or technology you can find it fast.

I feel horrible for her, because it’s quite an embarrassing thing that she has go through, as public figure and prominent person in the world and I feel horrible for us as a society because we find it amusing and we don’t care how it affects her, as a person. We act as though celebrities aren’t people, like they don’t have failings and go through some shit. We ridicule them and laugh at them and buy the tabloids.

    Sad.

Then we mirror that same invasion in our every day lives by posting every movement and every meal on some social networking site.

    Sad.

  6. I’ve seen some people type on certain social media sites “They’re just breasts”. I call bullshit. Of COURSE there’s nothing wrong with breasts; they’re natural and nothing to be ashamed of. But everyone deserves some privacy, and I think that the paparazzi went too far with crossing these boundaries.
